We ordered pizza and other stuff for delivery to our hotel room. The pizza was good, the Greek salad was really good for a pizza joint, the chicken wings were strange and inedible, the garlic rolls were drenched (sopping) in oil and too disgusting to eat. Stick with the pizza and you will be fine.
While visiting the Keys, I passed this place several times and felt like it was a quaint local "must try" pizza shop. My husband stopped by this location for dinner on our way back to Key Largo from Key West. After reading the reviews, we decided to try the garlic rolls! I WOULD agree with reviewers that they are AWESOME! They are not too garlicky or oily, which is nice-it's the perfect garlic to bread ratio. The pizza was pretty decent and reminded me of Johnny's Pizza and almost has that NY pizza feel. It was good for a quick meal. My favorite is still Fellini's (a hometown favorite from my home of Atlanta, GA). My only negative is there was one waitress for the whole restaurant, so things like drinks took a little while to get. But the food came out quickly & so that balanced that out. One more waitress would simply fix this minor problem.

Horrible , staying at the Islander for my Birthday with my Family , they wrote down the wrong hotel room , hour and a half later the pizza is cold , no dressing for the antipasto salad , manager was willing to take the $5 tip off our charge for the poor driver that has to drive back and fourth to correct the order . Use to be one of my favorite places , I grew up down here , I will never order or recommend again ! My husband has been standing outside trying to deal with the manager now for an additional 30 minutes . Hope I see the people I recommend them too and tell them to go somewhere else . If you're in the keys in Islamorada area , order from Boardwalk . Oh and the manager offered to send us an old cheese pizza they goofed on and when we said no , they said they would resend a pepperoni , well we got the old cheese pizza and they threw pepperoni on there and ran it through the oven , crust cooked well and the pepperoni wasn't even cut .

My experience was great. Rolled into Islamorada and time got away when we realized it was 9 o'clock. Looked around for a place to eat with the kids and decided to just order a pizza. They said it would be an hour for delivery, so I decided to pick it up instead. Got a large pizza and greek salad for two. Pizza crust is made and cooked in house NY style-thin and crispy. Pretty good crust, toppings were generous too. Greek salad was very generous with lots of feta and black olives and oregano. Saw the bad reviews but I have to think they may be the only cheap eats around and are over burdened? Everything else around seemed expensive.

Good crispy crust on the Stromboli. We went for lunch. The Mozzarella sticks were okay. The sauce served with the mozzarella sticks was sweeter than the tomato sauce served with the Stromboli. Good place if you are having a craving for pizza and you expect something above the big chain delivery pizzas, but no where near artisan pizzas.

On my way back from the keys I got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic in Isla Morada. I really needed to use a bathroom and most places around US 1 HWY were already closed at 10pm on a Sunday night. My girlfriend and I saw a pizza place that was open and decided to stop there to use their restrooms. The place was really old and run down but it was packed with people. Their sign said they closed at 10 but I over heard the manager tell a customer they would stay open since they were busy. I didn't want to be that person that just uses their restroom without ordering anything, specially since they had a nice big sign saying it was for their customers. What the heck, I really needed to go so I got a small cheese. They said it would take 10-15 minutes. 20 minutes went by and I approached the manager and asked him how much longer? He apologized to me and said he needed 5 more minutes on it since they put in my order in the oven late. The manager told the cook in the back to add extra extra cheese to my pizza I guess to try and smooth things over. As soon as my pizza was boxed he personally got my box and handed it to me. The pizza turned out to taste a lot better than I had expected. The dough was baked perfectly with a nice crispy crust and the dough was gooey and delicious. We definitely noticed there was a lot more cheese than a traditional pizza is supposed to have so that was a nice touch. The people well really nice and looked over worked from a busy day.

We were staying right up the street and wanted something easy for dinner. We had passed Tower of Pizza a couple of times and thought why not. I ordered from our room and was told it would be about 25 minutes if I wanted to pick it up. Or an hour for delivery. That's a no brainer. Only 2 miles up the road, so I picked it up. I got there in about 20 minutes and it was already ready. Taste wise, not the best I've ever had. Not enough sauce and the crust was completely bland. But ok for not having much in the area. Even a little garlic on the crust would help. Or maybe ask for extra sauce to dip it in.

This place is great. The crust is top notch, very nice crisp, good dough toppings are fresh. Quite delicious. They also have a great, affordable lunch menu. If you want some decent pizza, go here. It's worth it, not the best, but good!

Ordered wings and pizza to be delivered. The pizza was pretty good. However we ordered buffalo wings and when they arrived had no sauce. Just soggy fried chicken. Not worth the 45 min wait.

We ate here last night and also about a year and a half ago. The restaurant is simple but they make pizza very well! The crust was the perfect thickness and cooked perfectly. The sauce was flavorful, and toppings were fresh. We had been advised that this was the best pizza in the area, and I would argue this is some of the better pizza I've had recently. Additionally, this is definitely a more economical option for dinner in the Florida Keys. We would recommend this place!

After waiting an hour and a half and still not even being served our salad, we walked out. I asked to speak to the manager and he couldn't be bothered. The really sad thing is there were many open tables. People coming in after our party were served and left!! Not to mention it's filthy! Stay away! I am giving it one star because it won't left me leave zero.

I've been patronizing this joint for many, many moons. I love the pizza. I haven't had much else here. Usually just a pie to take on the fly. As much for the nostalgia as the flavor. The decor is desirous of an upgrade. That's it.

I wouldn't even give this place a star! The service in this place was horrible. The waitress wasn't friendly at all. It took her forever to get us drinks, our bread, and finally the pizza. She did warn us that the pizza would take a while but wow... It seemed like they went to Italy to make the pizza. When we finally got our pizza it was not even good. What a total disappointment!! It's safe to say we won't be coming back!!!

I don't know what everyone's bitching about. $1.50 for a huge slice of cheese pizza, plus $0.50 per topping. Total steal. The crust was very crispy and the sauce was tasty. It's not exactly New York-style, but it was very tasty and the people were nice.

Not good for take-out pizza. Soft and doughy, scant toppings, and the cheese had a very strange texture.

We ordered carryout that was supposed to take "45 minutes to 1 hour". It took closer to 1 1/2 hours. Pizza was good, pasta dried out, regular salad good (not enough dressing), and the Cesar salad was literally cooked. It came in the same kind of metal tin that the pasta came in, and someone must have put it on the oven for the 90 minutes it took to get to us Stick with the pizza and pick it up yourself and it's not bad.

For a reasonably-priced meal in the keys, Tower of Pizza is a good option. Shout out to the owners for using fresh, instead of canned, mushrooms on their pies. The food is that of a standard pizzeria. The inside of the restaurant is a bit run down, but we thought it added to the charm of the place. The server was pleasant and helpful. It makes me smile every time I think about her giving me a glass with the last of the old jug of wine, in addition to my carafe of wine from a new jug, because she didn't want to waste it. Bless her heart, I took a couple sips of the wine (that was on its way to turning into vinegar) so that I didn't appear ungrateful. We'll be back on our next visit to Islamorada.

Attentive service on Thursday evening for an early dinner. We ordered the mozzarella sticks (super fluffy squishy and like no other mozzarella stick I have ever had, yum), shrimp cocktail (standard, but great) and a cheese pizza. The pizza was very delicious! $3 glass of Chablis (huge pour) and root beer were our beverages of choice and also did not disappoint!

Unless you want a roach at your dining table, I don't recommend this restaurant. Went to this pizza stop on our way home from vacation and stopped in with our family of 8 before hitting the road. Ordered two calzones, a stromboli and a pizza....upon arrival of our food and serving out slices to the kids, a roach was seen on the pizza tray. Never again.

This is not a fancy pizza joint but the service and pizza was good. The dining area was simple, clean, and the pizza was above average. The pie had a good thin crust with tasty toppings and an edible crust. If you are looking for a slice at a fair price this is a solid choice. I would eat here again.

Ordered two pizzas for take out, very well done pies with fresh toppings. Also threw in plates, napkins, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, plus a bottle of Tabasco sauce! Great experience, will surely be back! Ordering for carry out was key.

We were on our way back from Key West and hit some traffic around dinner time. My family and I were starving, so we decided to check this place out. We sat at an open table and had to ask four times for someone to wipe it off. We then waited another 20 minutes for someone to take our order. After an hour, we had to ask for our salads that should have been brought to us right away. We were told "Your food will be out in one minute, I promise." we waited another thirty minutes. Couldn't get anyone to refill our drinks. We asked to see the manager and were basically told that he was too busy and couldn't be bothered. After watching others who had come in after us get served, eat then leave, we walked out and ended up eating microwave hamburgers from a gas station down the street because by that time, everything else was closed. This is the only restaurant I have ever had to walk out of. I will not be back and I recommend that if you see this place - keep driving. There is "bad service" and then there's Tower Pizza, which brings it down to a whole new level.

My daughters and I were hungry and what better to eat than pizza? For whatever reason we chose Tower of Pizza & we were so glad we did! I know what a good pizza tastes like because I used to live up north, where pizza is highly favored & well, long story short, this is really good pizza!!! Nice crispy, thin crust, lots of cheese and pepperoni, great flavor! Two thumbs up from all five of us!

My day trip to the Keys was winding down and we wanted to stop for a bite of pizza. This seemed to be the closest Italian place in Islamorada so we stopped in and were greeted immediately. We selected our own table, which was covered with plastic table cloth just like grandma's house :-) The waitress was friendly and we decided to get a little more than just pizza- that was a mistake! I ordered a cup of Lentil Soup. What I got was lentils in a cup of water. I had to add salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, parmesean, a crushed saltine and then it tasted good! We also decided to split an eggplant parm sub and small pizza. The eggplant sub was inexpensive and came with a side salad (the best part of the meal). The bread was good and tasted fresh but the sauce tasted like it came out of a jar and they tried to doctor it with oregano. Someone was a little heavy handed on the oregano but I managed to eat it, since I was hungry. Then our small pizza arrived. It was actually a nice size. It had the appearance of a good pizza but really fell short. Again, the dough was nice and fresh but lacked flavor. While we were eating our pizza I noticed something moving on the wall next to me. I thought it was an ant but my boyfriend said it was a baby roach. Upon closer inspection, it was indeed a roach and then we asked for our check! All restaurants in South Florida/Keys have bugs but they typically can be found in the "back of the house" not walking amongst the patrons- GROSS!

We stopped here on our way back from Key West. The food was greasy. The service was meh. The menu stated lunch pizza $6, toppings $1 each. I ordered two toppings and when we got the bill the waitress explained I ordered premium toppings (not listed anywhere on the lunch menu) for $3 each, bringing my $6 pizza to $12. The pizza tasted OK, but I couldn't get over this egregious error. My husband ordered a calzone that was so greasy it made him sick. The inside of the restaurant felt pretty dirty and I couldn't relax. Definitely not going back here.

Pizza was good and it seemed fresh. The place is old and leaves a lot to be desired but if you're stuck in traffic and want a quick bite to eat, this place is good to stop.

I should have taken the other negative reviews seriously. After a long day, I ordered a medium pizza for delivery and was told 40 mins. 70 minutes had gone by I called to ask. The manager put me on hold for 5 mins. Then he acted surprise and said "You didn't get it yet.? You're only 1 mile away. You should've gotten it 20 mins ago." I told him "You guys are a joke!". He said "Let me call you back.". Of course he never did. DON'T TAKE YOUR CHANCE ON THIS PLACE. TRULY BAD SERVICE.

Not worth your time and definitely not worth the calories. We ordered a sandwich and some pasta. Both dishes were NOT tasty at all, lacked proper seasoning, and the pasta was smothered with oil & butter. The pasta was overcooked too. When we got the bill, they overcharged us -there was an extra meal on the ticket. They corrected that after we pointed this out. Maybe the pizza is better than the rest of the menu items. I will not be returning.

Good food, reasonable prices. Excellent salad with grilled chicken also the feta cheese appetizer salad. Lots of local Conch patrons, which speaks to the quality and consistency of the food. Mexican dishes are on the menu on Thursdays

My wife and I were amazed by the quality of the food here. We stopped in after a day of fishing at Bud and Mary's Marina. The pizza was absolutely great and the Greek salad was tremendous. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. Don't miss this place for a good meal.

My wife and were in the mode for pizza one night while staying in Islamorda so we found the only place open at the time. This is a mom and pop place with the owners teen children as the servers. I ordered a beer and I am positive it was not the correct type of beer (big difference between a light beer and a land shark), so they replaced it with an Yingling which was good and cold. The pizza was good but average tasting. If you are looking for a pizza place and there are other choices, I would pick another place.

We decided one night that we wanted pizza and this was the closest pizza place to our hotel. All in all: good food, TERRIBLE service. When we walked in the door, we thought we had walked into their kitchen or something. Everyone just kinda stared at us few a few moments awkwardly til someone finally asked how many people we had. Our waitress took forever to do anything. Take drink orders, bring drinks, anything. Good thing the glasses are pretty big because nobody ever got refills. My sister even had to go ask for the check, give the waitress our card for the bill, and go ask for boxes. All the food we had was good. Most of ate the meat lovers pizza and some salads, and a few of us got pasta. I really liked that the pizza had slices of meatballs on it. I suggest take out or delivery at this restaraunt.

After living on the East Coast for some time I grew to love pizza. I was very disappointed in this pizza. The crust was undercooked. The bottom of the pizza and the edges were not even crisp. The top of the pizza was melted but not cooked. The anchovies appeared raw and straight from the can. As a whole the pizza was just undercooked. I expected more from some one specializing in pizza. Hate to be a pizza snob, but I think some brands of self rising frozen pizza may be better. They need someone that knows how to run a pizza oven and know by the appearance of the pie when it is done. The review is based on a carry out order.

40 minutes for a pickup order! $15 SMALL Stromboli, a genoa salami sub with hots that came with peppercinis that still had stems on them. Not to mention the fact that the pizza and Stromboli were so greasy there was no need for a laxative for 2 months. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Totally sweet staff and the pizza is really good! I was surprised at how small the garlic rolls were but they give you so many it doesn't really matter. Totally ooey gooey cheesey deliciousness.

Not good and delivery takes forever. One time we ordered a pizza & it took 2 hours to arrive. Another time it took 4 hours to arrive... Unfortunately it seems to be the only place in Islamorada that delivers so we always hope for the best but are disappointed everytime. Very sad as they could have a lot of potential if they tried!

Cheap? Maybe. Edible? Not so much. You're better off going to the Trading Post and buying a pot, some water, a box of pasta and a can of Sterno. No, I'm not kidding.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We ordered a pizza from tower of pizza during our stay in Islamorada. The pizza was great! Delivered to our resort, faster than they originally quoted! New York style pizza!

I get lunch here very often. Joann is very polite and good at her job. The food is good. Not great, but good. And Thursday is Mexican day.

I didn't like the pizza. My family did. But I guess that's very personal. The thin coast is not thin at all.

It's not really that good... For me there are so many other good places in the area i would not go back here.
