Lovely little cafe right on the courthouse square in the heart of this little downtown close to the bike trail. Lovely selections of sandwiches (we came for lunch) and wonderfully attentive and friendly staff. I'd love to check it out for breakfast. Had the NY Strip panini all the way which was tasty! Wife had the gluten free option (they have GF bread for all their sandwiches). Also: cool little Art Deco building with flair according to style.

We've been wanting to try this place for awhile now, since it's not too far and the reviews were good. Today we went for lunch.....we won't be back. The service was fast and friendly. I had the Reuben panini which was good but light on the meat, my husband had the Cobb salad (wanted grilled chicken, but they were out of that) it was VERY small for the price, a discount for no chicken would have been nice, they did give him a little extra avocado apparently, also the balsamic vinaigrette was nothing special. Lastly, it was all served on plastic with plastic utensils, don't care for that. I hope they recycle it at least.

I had a job in Inverness and stopped in here based on high ratings by locals and they are right! Staff is super friendly and attentative and you MUST have the soups!!! Oh my goodness, I had the stuffed pepper soup and it was AMAZING! I have never heard of stuffed pepper soup before!! I wished this place was closer to Tampa!!!

We are so happy we stopped in for dinner! We loved the simple but nice valentines touches they had. My husband loved his Prime Rib- perfectly cooked medium-rare, as he ordered. His roasted sweet potatoes were delicious! As was my grand marnier mahi served with broccoli slaw. We enjoyed these entrees after eating flavorful fried green tomatoes. They were super savory because they had a little bit of everything- goat cheese, a smokey aioli sort of sauce, bacon, and chives. I will say that the grits are lacking, just nothing to write home about, so I'd advise against them. We didn't order dessert because we were so full. To give you an idea of portions-- My husband is a large athletic build so he finished my entree, since we're tourists and didn't have a place to keep them. Fast service since it's such a small restaurant. Pleasant staff. They even had our favorite sweet red wine, Sanguine de Juda, which we eagerly bought to take back to the B&B we were staying at.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner. My encrusted flounder was wonderful and his Mahi dish was over the top. Great presentation on both meals. We went back the following morning to surprise one of my school grads I had not seen in many years. Thank you Sherri Spaulding (owner) for setting the perfect venue to pull it off! Great service above and beyond!

Great little spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. Standard breakfast sandwiches, wraps and paninis. I got a wrap with scrambled eggs, turkey, tomato, avocado and cheddar. It came with a side of fresh fruit. The perfect sized portion. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered with no complaints and no one left hungry. We tried their white chocolate mocha which was tasty and not too sweet. I would love to try it iced next time! They also have pancakes and French toast among other standard breakfast items. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

I just ate the best Indian fish at the Deco Cafe along with fresh local veggies! This place is a local gem! And I think the chef is cute as well as highly talented and creative.

This place is lovely. My friend, who has a gluten allergy, and I stopped in. The owner and chef talked to her about her preferences and came up with something gluten free on the spot! She even made a special dish for her super picky 3 year old daughter. I have no dietary restrictions so I can confirm the menu items are just as fantastic. I will keep frequenting this place whenever I can!

We've been meaning to check this place out for some time now. By chance we were in the area at lunch and gave it a shot today. We ordered the large Deco chicken salad and a Cristo sandwich. It was the lunch rush, and the place was packed but our order arrived quickly. I was a little surprised at the "Large" salad. Presentation was nice and it looked great. But in my opinion it was small and the chicken was dry, just short of being jerky. In the end, I'd never order it again. The sandwich was great, perfect in every way. Fresh and well portioned. So if your hungry don't order the salad, you'll leave hungry.

I used to work there and really enjoyed my time there! I wish I had known more about Deco Cafe prior to working there-- I probably would have been there more often. The new owners, the Spauldings, are amazing people and they are doing a phenomenal job with the cafe!

I've wanted to write a review for a long time about this place. Ever since this place opened several years ago, I always find myself back there when I come back home from school. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating, and the establishment itself is simply wonderful - small little cafe/gift shop in a great location. You also have the option of dining outside - should Florida weather permit you to! I always get the chicken caesar salad, a little more coin than the average salad would be, but honestly worth it. I also love how you can call ahead if you're in a rush and they'll have it ready by the time you get there. More recently, they began a new weekly night event, where you can come in, relax and have a glass of wine while socializing with friends. I'm not sure if they still do this, but check it out! I love it here, I'm excited to go back :)
