This is my second visit to Coach's Pub & Eatery in Inverness this year. It is a great stop for bicyclists looking for lunch and refreshments from the Inverness Trail Head of the Withlacoochee State Rail Trail. I stopped there twice as a bicyclist but I see lots of the local business lunchtime crowd there, too. It's right in the Historic District of downtown Inverness just off of Main Street. There is on street parking and public lots nearby if you come by car. It is a sports bar as you might guess by the name. They have a nice and large regular menu, daily specials and lots of different types of beers to pick from, along with the standard non-alcoholic fare. I loved their chicken parmesan sandwich platter when I was there in March and salivated when I saw it on the menu again this time -- it was just as good this time around. The prices for food are very affordable (I didn't have alcohol and don't know what those prices are). I had a fulfilling lunch with tip for $11, not bad!! There are a few tables out in front on the sidewalk in case you prefer to eat outdoors or come with Fido, the restrooms, while not elegant, are clean! The wait staff was very pleasant to me both visits. They accept cash and credit cards. Check out my photos if you're interested in seeing what the inside looks like. I will come here again next time I am in Inverness! !

Good food and service. Drinks are priced well and tap Guinness and Sierra Nevada and a bunch more. Decor is sporty, sports like . Taco Tuesday and Peel en eat Thursday's.

My husband's quest for the best wings in Florida ended at Coach's! They had the perfect amount of breading and the perfect amount of hot. My only gripe is they served Ken's for their Ranch. And it's way too buttermilky. I had a burger which was also the best burger I've had yet in Florida. You can pick all your toppings so it's easy to customize. The best part of Coach's? THEY PLAY HUSKER GAMES!

After visiting Crystal River to snorkel with manatees, my guest and I ate next door at Stumpknockers and then met up with two friends at Coach's for a few drinks. They have decent pricing and a wide selection of drinks. They have two pool tables which only cost a buck to use. Our waitress was very sweet, and one of my friend's wings looked so good I almost snagged one.

I once ate at the Dunnellon location. They charged me xtra for everything. When I asked for barbecue sauce for the DRY ribs they served me I lost it. I never went back again. They went out of business not long after that. My daughter took me to Coachs in Inverness last Saturday. I ordered a chicken sandwich. The grease soaked bun was twice the size of the chicken. The fries were good. When I asked for the cole slaw that I saw all the other sandwiches advertised with, guess what...it was xtra. When I received the slaw, it looked like a nice portion so I didnt feel too bad about being charged extra. Then I realized that it was a tiny amount on top of shredded lettuce. You must think you're customers are stupid. My daughter was also charged separately for 2 of her items. Why do you nickle and dime your customers to death?? For what? A bread sandwich? You lost one location in Dunnellon. Have you not learned anything? My daughter & I will never be back. How dare you mistreat the very people that pay your bills. We work hard for our money too. Shame on you.

It has been several years since we have been to this establishment and several years till we go back again!!! We thought since years have gone past that things would change, not so. Find another place to have a cold beer!!!! My recommendation would be Pine Street Pub. There the customer comes first and they want you to come back.

Me and my wife just started coming here and we love it, the food is good, they have a great beer selection and knowledgable bar tenders.Who I might add can pour a great black and tan and are very friendly. We were recognized our second time there, which everyone can appreciate.

This place is ok, but is not as good as it once was back in the day. The prices are fair for the quality, but the food was once so much better. The wings and burgers used to be the best, but now they seem to be average compared to others in the area. The beer selection is good, but try the pub next door around the corner for pub beer after you have a few at Coaches and you'll see what I mean. Wings and burger can not be compared to The Cove which blows them away! Don't take my word for it though try them both at both restaurants and let me know what you think.

FANTASTIC beer selection. The waitresses are actually schooled about their beer selection, so just ask them. The menu IMHO is a little too ambitious for the kitchen, but wings and burgers are a safe bet. It's sort of a sports pub which isn't my first choice, but well laid out. Great for after work. 4 stars for beer selection, probably a 3 for food.

Been going there for years. First review. Execellent wings and cold beer! Great service! Best Wings around...

Decent "sports bar" ambience but had some service bugs to work out during our visit. Ordered a "beer local to Florida" and ended up with something brewed in Utica, New York. Chili was good, bbq wings were good, but nothing stood out. Basically, decent food in a decent sports environment, but nothing about it really stands out.

Great food, good service. One of my favorite hang-outs.

Excellent wings, beer and service every time we come. Fun atmosphere for the whole family. Pool tables available and different sports on every television. Love 52 cent wing nights on Wednesdays!

Owner's a true blue a-hole. He's screwed other business owners in the county. Other than the beer, it's not worth a dime.

Wowza! Boy was I surprised with the deliciousness of the food we ate here! We ate lunch here before leaving town during our visit. My husband and I split the mahi nachos which were very flavorful! You get a good amount of chunked mahi, with lots of diced peppers and tomatoes and rings of onion. The flavors were poppin! Haha The mango salsa and cheese on top were perfectly complimentary. My garlic Parmesan buffalo shrimp were sinful. My husband enjoyed his burger as well, which was a super cheap lunch special. We loved dining on the sidewalk under the umbrella here. This is a restaurant that just looks like a subpar American spot from the outside. Give it a chance though because it is so much better than that!

If you ever find yourself in Inverness Florida you should definitely stop here at Coach's. Coach's is a great pub in downtown Inverness. An amazing selection of draft beers, and plenty more in the bottle are available here. I have never had a bad meal here. Don't expect much in the culinary arts here, just good pub grub. Service can be a wee bit slow at times, but having pool tables, darts, and a lot of TVs you hardly notice.
