Beautiful waterfront location with courteous staff. Food was delicious and filling and drinks were also good. Very nice lunch spot, will stop by again when we are in the area. Note: on Monday only the tiki bar in the back is open and the indoor restaurant seating is closed. Was not a problem for us, food was good at tiki bar! We do want to check out the inside next time though.

I'm debating on giving the place One star but in all honesty I think they deserve two. The view is fantastic. The service was horrible. The food was eh. The appetizer of a pound of peel and eat shrimp was good. The blackened redfish was pretty good and the hush puppies were very good. The scallops however- were frozen- thawed- cooked- and rubbery. Took a bite of one and sent them back. Waitress had a slight attitude problem. I don't understand a fish restaurant on the water serving frozen fish. I wouldn't waist the travel time to go here again. Prefer crackers down the street in Crystal River.

Ok this is a first for me. Over priced. The staff was friendly and food was ok. Frozen goodness. Not worth the money 12.50& fish and chips. That's a 8.50$ meal.

So Dinner solo week for the next 5 nights. First stop Sea Grass Waterfront & Marker 7. Like most places here (this time of year) not too crowded. I do enjoy that , and enjoyed the comfortable inside bar (solo dining thing). Staff very nice and helpful, also very real. I got the Redfish and sides, very tasty. OVERALL , recommend highly. Good menu to select from . I may just keep eating there, as the water setting is really awesome. Do Take BUG spray. outside menu bar only.

Basil and his staff do an awesome job at this beautiful riverside bar and grill. They have dining indoors or outside where you can enjoy the beautiful Homosassa River. Always a favorite place for my wife and I. Oh, you have got to try their Bloody Mary's. They are probably the only ones in Florida that have the mix that they use. They are awesome and so is the food.

The only reasons this place doesn't get 5 stars is because I reserve that for fancy places. Seagrass is a place where you get a fish fry dinner with your soda in a plastic cup, but it's the best fish around. The atmosphere sitting on the screened in porch was perfect on a spring evening. The service was certainly adequate and food (while not fancy) was delicious. Average plates are about $17. We didn't order any alcohol, desert, or appetizers, so can't comment on that. I suppose it might get busy on weekends, but on a Wednesday it was quiet.

Nice restaurant have only sat outside. Good food only complaint would be had a chicken salad sandwich the other day asked for rye bread instead of roll, next table over had it on rye, waitress said no problem. Sandwich was very good. Went back 3 days later and ordered same thing and bartender said they couldn't put it on rye. Told her we had it that way the other day, they still wouldn't do it. Hmmm!

Very nice. On the river, beautiful view. Seafood was fresh, hot and tasty. Great service. Don't listen to much to the negatives. This ain't mcdonalds. Of course a seafood restaurant is going to be more $$$.

I am giving it five stars because it was a perfect ending to a great weekend spent with my fiancé and best friends. Awesome burger and fries. Will be going back. Can't beat the views. Beautiful sunset. Service was great. Waitress very nice and attentive.

When we first got to this place it had great atmosphere. On the Homosassa River, live music and what looked like great drinks. We soon found out the food was over cooked and small portioned, the drinks were just bad and the service was some of the worst ever. No napkins, silverware or sugar for Tea. We had to track down our server to get almost everything. Insulting us with one menu for outside and a bigger menu for inside was crazy. 80% of more of the guests were outside!! If you can't deliver a sandwich outside then just use one menu!!! The kicker to all this is three out of our four person group had nausea with two hours. No reason to return having seen the view.

My motto is.."can't knock it until you try it" and I am certainly glad we ignored some of the bad reviews and came here! Seagrass had a beautiful view and the crab bites were outstanding. Boats pulling up for a bite to eat and live music was playing. Glad we didn't let this one pass us by!

Read bad reviews about this wonderful find and they are false. Dockside atmosphere is great! Even pull up with your skiff! Only had time to try the crab bites as we were on a restaurant hop, but they were amazing! It's kind of a local joint, nothing fancy. Had on a polo and cargos, and was over dressed. Just be prepared for that. Perhaps I just love sitting On a dock. Know that before coming and you won't be dissapointed!

Beautiful atmosphere, food so so. We sat for quite a while before anyone even took our drink order. We were actually about to leave when the waitress came. She was great at smoothing things over. It was raining when we went so we didn't experience the outside, but inside is beautiful. The food was okay, but nothing special. It didn't match the atmosphere. I ordered the Santa Fe chicken wrap & my husband ordered the fish sandwich. Nothing special, no flavor, no zeal. Overall, I wouldn't go back.

Great atmosphere and location. Love sitting out by the water, just don't go when you are in a rush to eat and get out. Slow service and okay food. Different menu from inside and on lanai, than from what you get on the dock. Once your food is delivered and you ask for something else, you will have to track down your server to get what you asked for. Have dined there multiple times and same thing every time. But I will still return to have a few drinks and sit out by the water on a beautiful day.

Yum! Fish sandwich really good, homemade potato chips!!! Daughter had pizza and loved it. Hubby got a wrap. Food was excellent as was atmosphere and service. Highly recommend!

Been there twice and only sat and ate at the tiki bar. Like the idea of separate menus for the tiki area and the restaurant. Service excellent and the food reasonably priced and the beer cold. Only reason not 5 stars was the one man band/entertainment was doing adds and promoting Obama Care. Having a relaxing day off and don't need politics when enjoying ourselves on the river! Great view and location. Gotta start serving fish tacos easy and lite.
