Always a Great experience, service is amazing, it's ran by the owners, who work everyday, they've got to be some of the hardest workers I've ever seen, hats off to both of you! As for the food, it's why we keep coming back for more, it's amazing, cooked to order, and the Ice Tea is second only to mine! After all is said and done it's the best little secret in all of Homestead, and I'd even have to say Miami, a must try, you won't be let down! -Rene Anthony

So tired of the biker chic and the hippie lady in the mornings who don't pay attention to details. You order one thing and you get another. You tell them over medium eggs and u get one that's fried and one that's over medium. You serve food all day can't you see that before it comes out. 90% of the time your just about done with your breakfast and they realize you don't have your toast easiest thing to bring to the table.. Watched 2 tables get up and leave in the morning because there's only one person waiting on tables. The owners seems to nice they need to realize that they should change your morning service and get someone in there that will hustle and not be so complacent. Send a few people in there they don't know and have them come back and tell you how the service went. Tried to come back time after time and it's still the same. The place gets C for service. I'm done get different help in the mornings.

Understated, but good food. I will visit again.

Stopped here for late lunch after a long bike ride. Well, stopped here after some confusion about location--there are two Royal Palm Grills, a smaller one attached to a Rexall, and a larger one about a block south. We stopped first at the Rexall location, but they had just closed (they only serve breakfast and lunch), so we went down to the newer, larger place. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with fries, my mom ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Both were good and filling--the meatballs were flavorful and seemed homemade, the chicken wrap was delicious, though they put large-ish pieces of carrot in it, which wasn't bad but was a little odd. The fries were perfect steak fries and looked hand peeled. Bonus: they give you drinks in big old diner style glasses that hold A LOT. I usually go through at least a refill or two, but I barely finished this one. It was slow when we came in, but the waitress was friendly and prompt--no complaints. Tip: though Yelp lists it as "New American" this is definitely diner food--pretty damn good diner food, but diner food nonetheless.

We had breakfast after church. The place was busy. The food was delicious. Our waitress had made an error in my order when I told her about it she checked her book and admitted she wrote it right but gave the the wrong thing. She did not try to argue with with me. This is good customer service.

Located in an old corner Rexall Drug Store in what was most likely the soda fountain way back when, this diner has that classic diner look and feel. Old Florida photos on the wall, the counter with the original stools, open cook area, etc. Waitresses are fast and courteous and the eggs benedict were awesome! I stay away from chains and fast food whenever possible and this was worth the effort to find. Fueled us up on our way to the Keys.

Listen, idk why I love these little diners with the down to earth servers. So this is officially my family's new breakfast spot for the weekend (sorry Farmers Market). Like I said of my review for the other one this place have been around forever not this location but the one that's in the pharmacy. I love the salads, the fried okra, their breakfast and just so much more! This diner has tons to choose from, from brkfst, lch, and dinner and the food I've ordered is always good. Although I did not enjoy the fried catfish and had to add some stuff on it because it was not seasoned. But that one bad experience don't do no bad with all the good. You get a big portion for a good price. My husband loves this place and he might even be a little jealous I held out and have been coming here with the baby for Our secret brkfst lol.

Great food. Good service. Gets packed on weekends. Their home fries are spectacular- try them with the country fried steak for breakfast! So good!!! We also tried the Lorraine Frittata and it was delicious. Next time I go, I'm going to try the waffles because they looked awesome!

Okay the place is not fancy at all but the service and food are good. The waitress are efficient and friendly. The food is good and what I expect from a diner. I had the egg Benedict so yummy and delicious! I'll definitely be back to try something new from the menu.

New location has poor service. Lets chalk it up to being new. 1. When the waitress came to take our order we hadn't received menu's yet, which is fine. But when I mentioned that we needed menus, I was told by the waitress in an exasperated voice "well there were some right on that other table you should have grabbed" a full table using their menus. 2. we were seated right next to the door and people were standing over us at the door coughing, bumping into us and holding the door open to the parking lot the entire time while waiting to be seated and waiting to pay. 3. Lots of flies in the restaurant. 4. No silverware provides even after we got our food. Another annoyance to the waitress.

This looked like a local hangout - in a bad way- not great service. Not great food. Will not return.

Quintessential Homestead! Royal Palm has good food. I'm generally stuck on one meal, the three egg Mexican Omelet, hash browns, whole wheat toast. There are plenty of specials and other food to choose from. But, I really love breakfast here, regardless of the time of day. Beyond the food. Royal Palm is a great Homestead place to be. It's as much of a community/family as it is a restaurant...hard to go wrong here.

The food is very good . Although, the service is very bad. When me and my family walked into the door no one greeted us, neither did they have a smile on their face. Their is one girl who looks very mad ... I don't know why, but it's scary . Also, the two girls were texting and didn't even ask us not one time if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. Our waitress just gave us the food and didn't even say enjoy or anything. They charged us the water .. almost $3.00 for a glass of water . Which I'm pretty sure was tap water . Maybe this restaurant should consider hiring friendly, older staff . This staff is young and very unpolite. I still left good tip even though me and my family had bad service.

I'm not sure what I'm seeing with the low ratings here, but I want to give my review of three days ago. I'm actually here now and will pay close attention to every detail. 2.26.2014. Breakfast. I sat down at the table 15 minutes after my friends had arrived and before I could life my head I was greeted by coffee and a water. The waitress "busted my chops" about not seeing me in a while. (Note: Most of the waitresses treat you like family and kid. I have thick skin, but I can see why this would be a turn-off.) I ordered oatmeal and a bagel. Both we great. As I think about it, I was not asked if I wanted a specific type of bagel. My coffee was refilled before I could finish it and I drink coffee (and most other beverages) quickly. The other gents got classic breakfast. The farmer's omelette and a bacon and eggs breakfast. They enjoyed them and no complaints. Lunch 2.26.2014 I also ate here for lunch, don't judge me, you don't know my life! I got a Reuben, but Jewish delis forgive me, I changed the rye bread for wheat, and put deli mustard instead if Russian dressing. Also had sweet potato fries. This modified sandwich is fantastic. Top five for me at the restaurant. Corned beef is packed onto the bread and tender and succulent. The fries were slightly undercooked. I didn't finish them because the sandwich was too filling. The waitress offered us drink within a minute of sitting down and took our order shortly after. She had a "spunky" attitude (different than our breakfast waitress) and was quick witted and funny. I wished her a good day and was genuinely touched by it. She popped me in the back of the head after complimenting me on being a nice guy. Then it hit me, this could be a problem for other people. I'm easy going, but others want a certain professionalism. Here is my warning: The service at Royal Palm is friendly, but sassy. Energetic, but REAL. They are gonna "bust your chops" from time to time... Trust me, it's worth it! If you visited once and the food wasn't awesome, try again! Final Verdict: I love this place.

Love that they opened a second place. This new one is so much better, lots of windows and light, doesn't feel as cluttered as the other one and no wait for a table!! The food tastes just as great.
