Pizzarella Menu

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

I bought a Yelp $30 coupon for $15 and showed them on my phone and they let me use it without any problem even though I did not have the printed copy. They used my phone for the $30 discount and my phone app then was marked as redeemed. They treated me great. My server was very attentive and had an excellent attitude. I have eaten here before several times and the food and service have always been excellent. I did not choose this restaurant because of the Yelp discount but when I checked in and saw it of course I chose to pay $15 for $30 of food. The owners and management are nice people who care about your satisfaction. I highly recommend this restaurant for good food at good prices with people who care.

Their food is decent. Too bad their management's attitude doesn't match up. I have been a regular customer for years. Both dine in and take out. Imagine my surprise when the other day I went to pick up an order that had been called in by a relative. Before I walked in I checked on Yelp as I typically do when dining to see if there were any available deals. And at first I was happy to see that there was a $30 for $15 deal. I went in and asked if it could be used on take out. They said yes. Great, right? Nope! The manager said I had to print to voucher. Seriously? I tried to explain to him that this is not how Yelp works! The entire site is based on making it easy for consumers to use via a smart phone. Yet the manager refused to honor the deal. So I drove home, printed the voucher out (which clearly states in the how to redeem: "it's easy.... Show the voucher to them on your phone". Just to give the guy one more chance to do the right thing, I showed him the voucher which stated the procedure which they obviously agreed to when they signed up with Yelp and made the offer. So did he do the right thing? Nope. In fact he was pretty rude. He was willing to potentially lose a customer over this. Well he got his wish. I certainly wouldn't go back which is a shame because there food is decent. He claimed to be the owner. This made the entire situation even more unbelievable. Oh yeah, once he saw the name on the order he realized that the person who called it in was a good customer. Did he then try to do the right thing and even apologize? Nope! He tried to tell me that he had given her a discount already (albeit a small one) and that she was a good friend. Oops! I told him it shouldn't matter who I was. And it shouldn't. If you want to do business via Yelp you should live up to the terms in your offer. And certainly not make it difficult for the customer. To bad that food that normally tastes good left such a bad taste in my mouth. And since I wanted to make sure I was correct in how Yelp works, I wrote to Yelp who since informed me: "You are correct in that the merchant does not need a print out of your Yelp Deals voucher, as long as you have the redemption code on your phone. Somehow I don't think the management will care. Thy didn't that day.

The food here is not authentic Italian. It's actually Brazilian. I assume their Brazilian Italian. I've been here a few times when Visiting here with family, I would not come here if it were up to me. The foods just ok. I have had worse and better. The service here is awful which pulls my rating down for this place even more. Our waiter in glasses seemed more concern to sit with Brazilian patrons and chat with them then to bring us our water. He forgot the bread and never checked back with us to see if we needed anything after he bought us our order. In short I will not be coming back here if I wanted to be ignored I can stay home...

I have ordered delivery on several occasions. My boyfriend likes their pizza (it's okay) so I have tried several times to try different menu items, but each time I experience the same thing: blah, tasteless food. I have tried the penne alla vodka, eggplant rolintini, and fettuccine Alfredo, and they all have tasteless sauces that do not taste fresh. I would try one of south Florida's other many italian resturants.

Ordered a pie for lunch expecting it to be just another greasy flimsy thing. It turned out to be excellent, with shredded chicken and a cheese mix that I had never had before. Awesome.

I stumbled across this pizza place a few months back, and I have been back a few times for more than just the pizza. There is a decent menu of Italian food, and a specials board with decent specials each day. There is also a full bar. I am not sure if the business is family run, but the waiters, cooks and bartenders are constant over the months, and are exceptionally polite and quick with a smile. The service is quick, and the food is prepared in a fast fashion, though it is also made correctly. While the majority of the food is good, but not anything to write home about, the pizza makes this place worth the trip. It is a nice thin crust that is so fresh and delicious that you can taste the butter with every bite. The cook does not spare the toppings, the pizza is covered in them. I have actually driven from Miami just to have this pizza. There are two TV's, one always seems to have the news, and the other has sports on at any given moment. The bar is small, maybe 10 stools, but it is comfortable, and there is a good selection of draft beers to choose from while you eat, or wait for your take out to be ready. You need to maki it your job to give this pizza a try if you like think crusts.

Pizzarella is awesome. I love the food and the prices are great. I would highly recommend this local italian restaurant. I think it's the best pizza in all of south florida!

Their Tuesday pizza special is great. They honored a coupon from May.

  • Raphael M.

Just orders pizza, french fries and mozzarella six. They said it would take 35 minutes to deliver it took over an hour the mozzarella sticks came in the form of calamari. the pizza was cold and the French fries were soggy. It's truly called back and complained the manager asked if we're going to pay for the pie that they're replacing I guess we have no choice but to agree because we were hungry never again. Their customer service is very poor.

  • Sherry S.

We've given this place at least three or four chances for a decent pizza. The first couple were pretty good especially when we asked for them to be well done, ie crispy crust. The last two times however the pizza has been terrible. The one we got the other night was so soggy that you could not even pick a slice up without it falling apart. On top of that it was pretty bland. I should mention that the services was great. The guy who took my order offered to apply a coupon to my order and I appreciated that. The search for good pizza delivery in Hollywood continues!

First time and never again... Pizza is a complete desaster I called and laidy in the phone didnt even knew the menu so it took me 15 min after two hang ups to order pizza. When i got it it was hot but very poor in ingredients and in quality incredibly thin ... Bread was ok Calamari was over cooked and full of oil and bread crumbs I would say maube 10 calamari and the rest just breading not impressed at all very sad 30 dollars ??? For this kind of service and food Never again...

Popped in at 9:30 for a quick slice of pizza and was asked if I was picking up, I said no. I was then told they were closed. I left thinking I'd gotten the time wrong when I checked before showing up so I checked on the door...nope they close at 10. Went down the street to Grande who also closes at 10. I was sold a slice with a smile and out of there by 9:41 Grande is a nicer restaurant so just save yourself from Pizzarella. I've never been in there and felt welcome. I won't ever be returning despite living next door basically.

Pizza was weird and service was bad. Waiter was rude and there were no napkins. Lame. Will never go there again.

Never had anything worse. Poor service and the food was gross. Kids had pizza and it was blah. The chiken i ordered was clearly old and overcooked.

  • Sean G.

I don't want to be the guy who complains about pizza... I mean, any pizza is a pretty good meal in my opinion. Sadly, this was probably the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. We ordered a 2-topping pizza, garlic rolls, and a tiramisu dessert for delivery off of GrubHub and the order estimated it would take about an hour to arrive. Though I thought an hour might have been a bit much (we were only a 8-10 min drive away) we were in no rush. The deliveryman showed up right on the hour and when the pizza arrived it smelled good, but as we opened the box, we realized the pizza was soggy and thin. It was even lukewarm and outright cold in some spots (I don't know how this happens... maybe they rested it on a cooler or something before delivery). The garlic bread was sub-standard but not totally terrible. The tiramisu was frozen. After waiting about 15-20 minutes, we gave it another try and it was ok. Even if this is the only pizza you can get to your door in your area, I'd reconsider. Even dominos or pizza hut would be a better option.

Food is mediocre and this is the worst managed restaurant I have been to in years. They truly act like they are doing you a favor.

  • Bernardo A.

Ordered delivery. The wings and pizzas were here in 30-40 minutes. The wings were good. I appreciated the fact that they were not bathed in sauce. They were moist and tender. Very nice. The pizzas were OK. A pepperoni and sausage pie and a shredded chicken and catupyri (which is a kind of cream cheese...maybe goat cheese). Nothing outstanding; and next time, I will skip the Brazilian cheese. The rest of the menu is exactly the same as 99% of all red-sauce Italianese restaurants. Bruschette, everything parmigiana, and a few salads and wraps thrown in for good measure.

  • Bryon H.

My grandmother and I went to check this place out and we weren't impressed at all. The food was bland, sloppy, and overdone. They pay more attention to the desserts than the actual entrees. And on top of all that the food was expensive. So overall the food was not worth a single penny. We regret ever going to this place. At least the service was great; the people were nice, but it can't make up for the food quality at all, especially if you are paying a lot for it. I could have cooked better food at home than what we had.

    (1)
  • John S.

The quality of the food has gone down here in the last year or so. Their prices are good and normally have good lunch specials. Maybe I just got them on a bad day but I will probably skip them next time.

  • Danny S.

Pizzarella is a nice, inexpensive neighborhood Italian place. We're a fan of the garlic rolls here, and you'll do all right with a pizza or a lasagna. It's not a fancy place nor is the pasta sublime, but we're fans at the price. If you go from 3 p.m.-6 p.m., you can hit up the early bird special, which is buy one entree and get the other for $.99 with sodas. That right there definitely helps the budget. We've always nice servers here and never had an issue.

  • Kristin C.

I did pizza takeout, and it wasn't bad. It was a little greasy but relatively tasty. I like the pizzarelli gourmet pizza as I like pizzas to have a variety of toppings, and I thought it was a nice pre-set mix. The pizza was also ready pretty fast and the location convenient. My husband who likes to stick to the chains in the case of pizza was okay with it, so that's saying a lot.

  • Tiffany I.

Decent service. Quiet place. Pizza is good but a bit pricey. I've been here twice and would return if I was in the area and craving pizza. Their Italian sub was good, so were their mozzarella sticks.

  • Raine B.

I got excited to read the Yelp reviews about Brazilian pizzas. But I got to say I didn't like it at all. Although they had the toppings like in Brazil - i.e. Portuguesa with eggs and sausage, see pic of menu - it was not like Brazilian pizzas. The dough was not made the same way. I was expecting the usually thick doughs with a large and crunchy crust. Their dough was very very thin and there was almost no crust left. Also a good amount of tomato sauce is characteristic of Brazilian pizzas and it wasn't there. I could barely taste it. The server wasn't nice either. He wasn't paying much attention. He kept forgetting to bring things we asked and he would get frustrated when we reminded him of it. It wasn't a good experience overall. Go get your pizzas somewhere else.

The pizza was just decent. I dont eat pizza often so when I eat pizza I like to eat the best. It wasnt by any means bad but it was just regular cheese pizza. The service, however, was good and attentive so thats a plus.

This was my 4th Pizzarella experience, and we ate there tonight . The interior of the restaurant is comfortable & very clean. Our server was really nice, even when someone in my party accidentally put garlic salt in her pink lemonade thinking it was sugar (LOL), she didn't mind getting her another. We ordered one of the Brazilian pizzas this time, with sausage, bacon, onions, black olives and maybe something else. Really tasty, I went a little overboard and had that extra slice. I felt like it was pointless to take home one slice, so I just ate it. Good stuff, ample toppings and great flavor. A friend of mine had the stuffed shells a week or two ago and was very complimentary of them. My only complaint about eating there is they have several import beers but nothing in Light, such as Heineken Light or Amstel Light. As a person who will make a pathetic attempt to offset my pizza consumption with "light" beer from time to time, my only options were Miller Lite or Bud Light. Next time I will see if they have any Brazilian beer, since i am now aware they can cook pizza and Italian food pretty decent, at least these people can. Still don't want to try the pizza with eggs on it, but I will order what we had tonight again.

Brazilian pizzas and Italian food at this place. Ralph, I, and the in-laws came here to try their Brazilian pizza: CALABRESA (mozzarella, smoked sausage, black olives, & onions) We also ordered their special pizza, which would just be meat and veggies: pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and sausage. Nothing out of the ordinary. I don't know if it was because we were 4 people, but the pieces for Ralph seemed too small. Well, I liked how the portions were. I would like to come back here for the "Sheridan Special" when we have a friend over in town.

Ordered the pepperoni and speciality pizza. I really liked the specialty pizza. Fast delivery too.

  • Chris M.

I like this place a lot. They have whole wheat crust that cooks up nicely and offer a wide variety of toppings. I can only vouch for their pizzas, but I order from here regularly. The crust is thin, so if you order a lot of veggies, you'll need a fork and knife for the pizza.

  • Bruce M.

Inconsistent. Over the years that we had ordered from Pizzarella, the pizza varied from gooey and under-cooked to absolutely perfect. You never knew what you were going to get. It was like playing "Russian Roulette" with your dinner. We used to joke, "Let's order from Pizzarella tonight, are you feeling lucky?" It was like 'a different restaurant' every time. Now, with this bizarre customer service, bi-polar behavior, we're finally finished playing "who are we this week?". There are plenty of terrific pizza places around. "DiSalvos" (try the chicken-broccoli pizza-amazing). "Big Louie's" is dead-on consistent every time. And if you like thin crust, "Villa Rosa" is excellent. We're ready for some good-old, delicious, consistent pizza. Sorry, Pizzarella, you're just not that good.

Literally the most disgusting pizza I've ever had. Crust was mushy. Toppings has no flavor. Could've spent the $25 and bought my own ingredients at publix to make a pizza that was better. Really disappointing.

  • Flavia S.

Being Brasilian this pizza is probably the closest I'm going to get to actual Brasilian pizza. The dough isn't the exact same as back home but the toppings sure are. Also, this might sound insane but they have a GREAT Greek salad. We always get half frango com catupiry and half portuguesa. So delicious.

  • Eric G.

Not bad! Tried the Gnochi with meat sauce. Very light & fluffy gnochi like mom use to make. Really liked ten pizza as well. Good thin crust, tasty sauce and cheese. Have to try it again to really get a better feel. We will definitely go back or get delivery. Only reason for 3 stars instead of four is the add on price for the meat sauce. The gnochi with meat sauce was on the board as a special, then billed as a gnochi dinner with an add on of meat sauce. I would think meat sauce would have been one of the cheaper sauces. Maybe I'm being nitpicking, but I hate the up charges. Just give me one price! The waiter was also shocked when we said "hello how are you?" He didn't even respond, no hello when we sat down... Just a strange look for saying hi to him and he jumped right in to asking what we wanted. Strange start to the visit, but I chalked it up to a cultural thing. Brazilian Italian cuisine. Not bad, and like I said, will have it again for sure.

Very cute and yummy lunch place. The decor reminds me of those 80's mafia movies. You know those small Italian diners that for some reason are all decorated in red. Although, I don't think is exactly an Italian joint. Although, I have only had salads from here, the salads are AMAZING. What better way to serve a salad than in a pizza bread bowl. Yummmmmyyyyy. So far the Ceasar salad is my favorite. Yes, I know with Ceasar salad once you have had one, you have had them all. But this one is different. The chicken comes fresh and warm (unlike most places which serve it cold), it has tons of cheese and the dressing is creamy.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
