Wonderful location for food and service. The zingers really are the best! Hot garlic parm is my personal favorite. Was greeted by Sabrina at The door. She opened the door for me and everything which I thought was very respectful and she was very open to answer my questions. I was served by Shannon and Karen, both great servers. Very attentive, fast, and friendly!

They used to have good wings But not anymore!!!! Millet lite draft used to be $1.95 a pint But not anymore!!! Maybe that's the reason we stop coming

The chicken oriental tasted like something you might get in a hospital in Kabul. The manager asked if I liked it and I said it was so awful that I wanted to see an uncooked piece. He brought this slimey, skinny piece of some part of a chicken, but it sure wasn't raised on marigold flowers. I said, "Yuck!", and asked if he was trying to kid me. This along with the fact their lobster prices keep going up and down faster than the Cyclone and that they are usually undercooked will keep me at arms length from this kitchen.

I really hate to write bad reviews, especially to places I visit frequently. But since my last visit turned from bad to terrible, I felt like I needed to get out of my chest. On my visit this past Sunday afternoon, pretty much from the moment I sat down at the bar to the moment I left, no bartenders were paying any attention to me. I have no napkin or glasses in front of me so they had to know I was never been served. 10 minutes later, I was finally able to flagged one bartender as she passed me by who even tried to pretend she never saw me. I ordered 20 wings go and one beer while I was waiting. The restaurant was not very busy, and normally it'd be ready before I can finish my beer. But this time, the food took over 40 min. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed in the back bar area where the to go orders are being placed had about 3 bags of food just sitting there, but the bartender who took my order never bother to go and check on the my food. I waited for so long I've already finished my beer long before the food was ready. And I am pretty sure the bartenders saw my empty glass but they never bothered to ask me if I wanted another drink (or I'll go check on your to go order for that matter). The entire time I was polite and I never raised my voice. Even when I said please and thank you, I was still given the attitude for whatever reason. I remember the old-timer bartenders like Jack, Frank and Vanessa always give me excellent service on my visits, and I've been coming to this location since 2001. We all have good days and bad days, but when you work in the hospitality industries, you can't take it out on your customers. Oh by the way, when I finally got my food, I realized that it was the same bag which had been sitting in the back for over 15 minutes where no one was paying any attention to it. To make the matter even worse, when I got home, I found out they got my wings wrong also.

This particular Ale House sucks compared to other Ale House's I have been to. We come here a lot because it is near the office and it is always the same, service is SUPER slow! It took 45 minutes for us to get our appetizer this trip. We come in a lunch time when the restaurant isn't full of people, I would hate to see how long it would take with it full of customers. If you have never been here go for the Zingers, chicken nachos(they are huge & tasty), Cajun chicken pasta is bomb. If you are there for the special with Dad's meatloaf it's awesome! Not a place to get a salad.

Out of all the Miller's this Hollywood location is probably the best. It's clean, the staff are really cool & it doesn't have that weird funky bar smell. Great place to watch a game and chill at the bar- even on our first time here the bartenders greeted & shook our hands like we were regulars- very welcoming! Now the food is typical bar food with a dinner special almost every night. I wouldn't say it's the best bar food but it certainly isn't the worst. Last night we went for the rib night because their ribs are more of the dry rub style w/ not too much fat (how I like it). Served w/ sweet potato fries & coleslaw: (fries were good, could've been more crispy & coleslaw too mayo-y). But again we knew why we were there & that was the actual ribs. Also had the BBQ chicken flatbread which had a really nice thin crust but could've used tiny more bbq sauce & carmelized onion. The Calamari app was eh. Not sure why they sprinkled shaved parmesean cheese & served it w/ sweet chili sauce -very confusing. Overall it's great service, CHEAP drinks w/ average food.. Not mad!

I used to come to Ale House (this location and others) all the time when I was still in my young 20's. It's a good drinking spot with cheap options, and not a bad place to watch the games, but the food is mediocre at best. When my father asked me where I wanted to eat this week I figured I'd offer up some non-Asian options in case he was getting sick of that kind of food. Knowing that I couldn't be out for long (I'm fostering a kitten) I suggested Ale House since it's a 5 minute drive from my house and he agreed. Apparently he already knew they had a lobster special on Wednesday nights and he was in the mood for that. I arrived first and a very bubbly server came over to greet me. I used to always order a Double Parrot Bay and Cranberry since they are $5 here but I was in the mood for wine. She told me that during happy hour (which is 11am-7pm) house wines were $3... I was sold and happily sipped on a Merlot until my father arrived. The thing that stands out was that my wine was given to me in one of those single serve carafes. I don't know if there is some sort of "breathing" reason why fancy places do this, but I was impressed that Ale House and taken their wine service to the next level - even if it was for a Sutter Home. So on to the food. We both went with the lobster special for $16.99 (stuffed lobster is $2 more) which includes coleslaw and one side. He went with broccoli and I went with green beans. I must say that the lobster itself was quite good. The only downside was that they did absolutely no prep for you. You're handed a lobster and a cracker and told to figure it out. This was quite a lot of work and I would appreciate at least a crack down the tail or something!! The green beans were miserable... somewhere between that fresh crunch texture and sad canned color. Don't know how the broccoli was but it looked to be in that same boat. The coleslaw was ok, not bad, not good, so really the lobster is what this is all about. Sure I'll be back, not rushing to go back, but for this particular location the other restaurants nearby are equally mediocre and sometimes you're looking for a bite to eat before or after the movies. Again, drinks are cheap so that's really the draw here. Some things on the menu are better done that others but it's really hit or miss.

... "Being new to MIA, I trusted my co-workers to the local pub food in the area. When I walked in, the place was packed with people and children. The IPA listing seems promising. The menu look legit when it came to sports bar food. I read and heard the reviews about the specials: osso bucco and jambalaya. A foodie would think that Cajun food and Italian food shouldn't mix in a restaurant ... I ordered a Cosmopolitan - it was very watered down. So, I ordered a Russian Knight -- 9%. My coworker ordered a Guinness, but there was no Guinness stout glass ... I find that odd. The Blackened Chicken Quesadilla had sour cream on the lettuce. The sour cream should be served on the side in a separate container. The horseradish cream for the dozen oysters that my co-worker ordered looked and tasted bad ... FAIL. I ordered a Russian Knight IPA ... 9% alcohol. It has good taste and it was served in a proper COLD glass. /claps ... The service here is mediocre at best. Sara N. (our waitress) was a little sketchy. I wouldn't go back here if my life depended on it." FAIL.

Food is usually good. Fish specials are overcooked and poorly presented. This month's bbq brisket sandwich is small bu their standards, tasty but not enough if you are hungry. Very unusual for Ale House.

Really disappointing! I loved this place when I first moved down a few years ago, but the handful of times I've been over the past 12 months have been increasingly poor. Today... We waited 20 minutes for a server to stop by once we were seated. Turned out their taps were out of order, and their bottle selection wasn't anything worth drinking. When the entree's came. 2 of 4 were ok. One went back since it was cold. The 4th showed up a half hour after the rest. The manager stopped by to offer free dessert, so we ordered 2 for the table. When the check came, the manager tried to tell us he only meant he was comping one dessert. It's not even as if the place was busy. It was half empty on a Sunday afternoon. After this time, I don't think I'll be trying again any time soon.

My wife and I have been coming here for eleven years and it has always been hit or miss. We usually sit at the bar because when something goes wrong, which it always does, there is a bartender present to correct things. I also like getting my beer refilled without waiting 10-15 minutes for a waiter or waitress to finally show up at my table. We only sit at a table when we are with friends. At the bar, Frank the bartender has always been this place's saving grace. Whether it's over- cooked broccoli, cold french fries, a fish sandwich instead of a burger or just a messed up order, Frank will always do his best to take care of the problem. If he is not working I never know what to expect. One night at the bar I ordered my dinner and after a full hour went by I asked the bartender where my food was and she told me, "She forgot to put the order in". At that point I already had three beers on an empty stomach and that's not good. I need food when I am drinking my beer. She acted like it was no big deal. I left the Ale house and went to Checkers. I had two great burgers, at a fraction of the Ale House price, and got myself safely home My wife and I have practically stopped going to the Ale House and no longer tell our friends about it because things have changed. The food has gone downhill and the prices have really gone up. They stopped serving Miller High Life. All beer prices are way up. Table service is never very good. It's inland, so no special Floridian view. They must survive on the Snowbirds who pack the place for specials during the on-season. They don't seem to care much about the year -round locals. I now go to the Quarterdeck on the Dania Beach pier. They have much better food and drink at better prices as well as good service with a view of the ocean that is spectacular! Very Floridian! They even have the same Lobster special as the Ale House, but on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Miller Ale House only has it on Mondays. The Quarterdeck is closer to home for me and they have happy hour ALL DAY- EVERYDAY too! I'll have a Yuengling please!

Stopped in real quick for lunch and I have to say I was very happy with how quick and attentive my server was. I ordered a yummy burger with sweet potato fries and it was $2 margarita specials that day. So we had a yummy lunch and I was in and out within 30 min. Would surely do again!

We came here for lunch to celebrate my boss's birthday. We wanted to go somewhere fun with great food. We were seated immediately, and the waitress came within a minute to take drink orders. We also ordered the chicken nachos with a side of guacamole and extra sour cream. The nachos were pretty good, a little light on the cheese, but the chicken was shredded and had a great flavor. We all basically decided to split several dishes for the main course. We ordered the burger sliders, chipotle chicken pasta, shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and chicken wings. My favorite was the chipotle chicken pasta! It tasted just like it looked in the picture, sort of a tomatoey cheese sauce with thick strips of tender chipotle chicken. Great flavor and consistency. The sliders were ok, a little on the thin side...I think a regular burger would've been the way to go. The wings were your standard wings, which I normally wouldn't order on my own. But they were nice size and juicy with good flavor. I was so full by the time I got to the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo I only had a few bites. The shrimp were small, the sauce was more buttery than cheesy, but flavor was good and I took the leftovers home. All in all we left there raving about how good the meal was, how decadent and rich it was. This place is great for lunch or any casual meal.

Once a year my sister comes down to take a cruise, and we meet up at Miller's Ale House for dinner. I probably would never drive an hour just to eat here, but when we do, we are always a party of at least 12, and the manager is ALWAYS right on top of things, trying to get us seated ASAP. CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE IS AWESOME! Even while waiting, a waiter would pass by and ask if we wanted any drinks. The food is good, solid, and a nice-sized menu to choose from. The only thing I could not find was a kid menu, so my boy ordered double lobster tails! Ouch! No time for desert, but 11 out of 13 dinner plates were empty when we left. See you next year!

We were directed to this restaurant by the shuttle driver at our hotel. The restaurant was packed with mostly an over 50 crowd. The menu was extensive and we both picked the fish tacos made with mahi mahi, rice and beans with a side of guac. Average or slightly below would describe the flavor and quality of these tacos. Other than too much blackened seasoning the pico was as tasteless. The beans were fine but the rice was crunchy. Guac also bland. With the last taco I just pulled out the mahi mahi and those bites were the best of the evening. The hosts and our server were pleasant and attentive.

The Ossobuco is the best in town.... Miller's Ale House is our "Go To" place when we don't know what we are in the mood for. The menu has a little bit of everything. The inconsistency is the service and the kitchen crew. When you find a good server ask for them every time you come in and you will always leave happy... Get somebody new and its a gamble... We always ask for Tara or Ryan... Want something healthy that will satisfy a hearty appetite? Get the Cobb Salad. On a budget and hungry, get the fish and chips! The specials are a great value especially the ribs, the lobster, and the prime rib. Despite being a sports bar the place is truly kid friendly.... My son always requests to come back and once a week they eat free...If you special order something scrutinize it. Food is rarely brought out by your server and if their was something custom, its likely to be wrong... Stay on top of them and you wont be disappointed. They will make it right and you will enjoy it... though sometimes its eventually....

The beer selection was great because tried a cigar city beer for the first time and now i am hooked. The food was okay i was able to order at the bar. Once my group arrived it took them thirty minutes to seat us then the servers just raced by so we left. good beer poor service

Great prices -- arrived on a night when they were offering a full rack of baby back ribs for $9.99. And it was a FULL rack. Good selection of craft beers. Great service. This is a chain, but they have their formula down pat and if you're looking for a place to eat after attending the nearby Oakwood Cinema, this does well.

Ever had McDonald's rubber nuggets? Then do NOT order the turkey burger. I've had better burgers in the frozen food section of Walmart. To make this evening's experience even more interesting - the side of rice and beans couldn't have been more than 4 spoonfuls. I would've given this awful food 1 star except for the fact that the bartenders were awesome. I'll never order food here again. I'll stick with a mug instead.

$6 pints of corona light &no lunch special on Saturday. otherwise not spectacular but satisfying. d.h. had steak & i had flat bread (crispy square pizza).

I've had minor issues here, like being served a side salad covered with cheese and bacon even though in the description it never mentioned either of those things...but I'm understanding. I don't blame the server for things that are out of their control. I've always had a nice experience here even if something went wrong. Staff is attentive and kind. Food is good. There's even a vegetarian menu which is AWESOME. I like this spot a lot and I am happy to recommend it.

I been here several times and everytime is greatttt!!! Calamari is my favorite appetizer. ... I have ordered several different plates the fajitas are nicely done... The 30 shimp dish is just too much to be true... Happy very happy to live close and have great service and greatttt food...

  • Mitzy R.

Great selection from menu, great daily specials. Short or no waiting time. But the service and order accuracy it's extremely poor. The steak was supposed to be medium-well and was served rare. The burgers came with the wrong sides or incomplete order. I guess it's more of a bar than a restaurant.

Wicked awesome place to hang for some beers good food n Sunday football after a wicked awesome cruise we will come back for sure.

    (5)
  • Johnny A.

Service is ridiculously slow. When it came out, it was cold and undercooked. How do you screw up a mass produced fajita? Food was ok the second time they brought it out. For a chain/franchise that should have its act together, I expected better. $50 for two for lunch is not cheap.

  • Belle L.

This was a interesting experience. It would get 5 stars if I hadn't become ill from the food.... I had the seafood Mac and cheese and it was amazing wonderful richness and taste but one problem . About a half hour after eating I got this blinding migraine that resulted in my boyfriend having to drive us home. If restaurants are going to cook with that much MSG then they need to mark it on the menu. Sadly I won't be returning because it's not worth the risk.

If you're looking for bang for the buck, this place is it! Pros -good wings -good buffalo shrimp -good oysters -killer beer specials with $6 pitchers -good bartenders -great calamari -great happy hour specials -prices Cons -if you go for dinner, it's busy...be ready to wait Tip...Jack the bartender is the best. Tip him right and he'll look out for you

We go there and it seems to be that they are hit and miss with there food, very inconsistent. We ordered the house salad which I told them to serve before our food came out which of course came out with our food leaving our main dish to get cold. They sent me the pot stickers fried when I asked for them steamed and the tuna-melt looked like a glob with tomatoes and some sort of yellow cheese on top. The fries were still frozen in the center. I don't understand why they are still in business? Needless to say, we did not take home the left-overs which there was plenty of.

    (2)
  • Natalie C.

I love this place! I've had fish and chips, zingers, Cobb salad, and the chicken dinner from here. When I'm on business I stop by just so I can talk to the bar tender there super nice guy. Christen M. Waited on me last time great waiter! Highly recommend this place to anyone for good company, great bartenders and to just hang to watch a game. Never alone here the locals are great at chatting it up with you as well.

  • Tom S.

I recommend this place but you have to beware of the time you go. If you go during the lunch rush you will wait forever. The staff is very friendly but the management doesn't really know how to run an establishment like this. If you have an issue with your food, you almost have to go and find management to solve problem. Other than a few cold meals which were eventually rectified they are usually a good choice.

  • Squeeky G.

Hands down the best Ale house I've been too. The service was truly great. I sat at the bar and Sara (possibly Sarah) was so tentative I never had to look for her or even wait for her attention. Always came by with a smile and was super sweet. Ale House is obviously not the greatest restaurant as a whole but It's a good full bar with decent bar food, & this one has great service. So, if u want to watch some sports, have a snack or meal, a good drink, and great service I highly recommend THIS Ale House. It's a great casual place to chill.

  • Rafael M.

Cool sports bar...wings are good...beer is cold...lots of screens for all sports If you want a casual place to watch a game. ..this is it

  • Joe B.

If you don't like to be greeted at the front door, or when they do come to greet you they don't smile or say hello. If you like being seated near dirty tables that don't get cleaned for almost a half hour. When they do get cleaned they just clean the table top and not underneath where all the food fell and stayed there for the next seating. If you like the smell of stale beer and over cooked fish then this is the place for you. We showed up before the dinner rush so there was no reason why the place was not cleaned. Perhaps the buss boy walking around with white socks and shower shoes is the problem. I think not, the management needs to step up and watch what is going on assuming they care!

  • Simone D.

My husband and I have been to the Ale House often. We love their jambalaya, chicken parmessan and the Ossobuco. This evening we decided to try the seafood. I got the grilled Alaskan salmon, lighter fare. It was suppose to be served on a bed of spinach and served with red potatoes. I was asked if I wanted a side dish and asked for broccoli. The salmon was served plain, no spinach and no potatoes plus it was so dry I couldn't finish it. I think it was frozen and thrown in the microwave. My husband ordered the clambake and was very disappointed. The clam chowder was no more than a 1/4 cup. The meal was very bland. So WARNING don't order the seafood there. The service is excellent especially if you're sitting at the bar.

    (3)
  • Kevin H.

The service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best! The lobster was over cooked and the green beans were under cooked. I have certainly had better Caesar salad and the steak was a little bit greasy. It will certainly be a long time (if ever) before we go back.

  • Vick O.

I love coming here after work, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Main reason I go on those days is their prime ribs special. I used to always get seated at the booth, but now I go straight to sit at the bar. Service is better and you meet interesting people. The conversations between bartenders and customers always make me laugh. Their desserts are not that bad either. Brownie is good, but their captain jack buried treasure is like crack; so addicting. Their seafood medley is also not too bad if you're feeling pasta. New England clam chowder is bomb. Just make sure to ask if it's fresh. Old ones tastes salty. Let's see, the fried calamari also is also a good small munch before your meal. (ask for sauce on the side) Their chicken wings are best if you get them breaded and sauce on the side. I like to mix Mt saint Helen and sweet Thai chilli. Ale house my spot especially when we have no other choice, don't want to drive far and want to stay local. 4 stars hands down! Minus one because of some I don't care attitude server that makes dining experience a living hell.

Not bad...pleasantly surprised. I was expecting some blah sports bar. They had tons of beer on tap; some I hadn't heard of and some good old standards. My hubby had the seafood mac and cheese which was way better than I expected and a reasonable price. I had the clam chowder which was tasty. The nicest part was they didn't have the sports way too loud. We would probably go back for a old easy standby though nothing special really.

They burned my pizza and then they asked my mom if she wanted her dinner cold or if she wants a new one. Which obviously she would like a new hot one to be able to eat with me. Service was terrible. Our waitress didn't know any local beers and when we asked about a beer she had to go ask the bar tender and didn't check on us until we were done with our meal. Good prices and good food but terrible service.

Having been a life long Californian, I had never had the pleasure of enjoying frost adult libations at this establishment. My wife and I were in town for a cruise. we caught a shuttle over and had a few drinks. Exceptionally reasonable prices, very friendly bar keeps. This is a gem... I think folks would be very surprised at the prices of drinks and chow in this dump called California.

We went last night after the movies for a quick dinner. We were received by nobody, so we sat where we saw more people and clean tables. A couple of minutes later, the "Hostess?" showed up and asked us to move to another table. We didn't mind, we moved. In our new table, we waited 10 (TEN) minutes until I decided to go to the bar and ask for someone to wait our table. The manager came and apologized. Finally, 5 minutes later (20 in total since we arrived) the server came apologizing since "This table is not mine" which, I answered "If this is not your table, what are you doing here?". Anyway. We ordered the chicken wings, one mild, one plain. Both orders came with the mild sauce. The server blamed it to the kitchen, of course. The food was good (that's why they get the second star). After this experience, I will definitely not coming back to this Miller location. Good luck, manager.

I have eaten here many times before and the service is usually ok but it only takes one time for something to go wrong to turn me off. I just had to walk out of there because we waited for 10 minutes and no one came to us. We saw a lot of wait staff walking around, cleaning tables and silverware and no one came to us so we nicely asked one of the girls to get someone to help us. Her response was "Your server is right there, she will be with you shortly." We turned around and saw our server taking orders at a table of 10. Which means it would have been another 10 minutes before we even got a glass of water??? Usually when we come here the manager comes by after we have been served to see if everything was ok. Would be nice if we could have found him tonight. I just wanted a glass of water while I waited. I was really thirsty. But I guess cleaning silverware was more important.

I eat here whenever in town. You can't beat the food or the prices and the service is great!!! Where else can you get a snow crab dinner for $15 or 2 lobster tails for $18. The bar is lively and the cocktails good. The kids love the balloon lady too!

Not good at all if you are just there to eat... My wife and I went somewhat late on a Friday night after getting in from the airport and checking into a nearby hotel... We waited about 20 minutes for a table... Not sure what the attraction is... Must be the bar... The food was pretty poor... My wife had a chicken teriyaki that was over cooked which was served with a side of wilted grey broccoli, I was not too hungry so I had the mini burgers and they were pretty much tasteless... Not worth the price...

Chillaxin, this place is consistent no matter which one you visit in any city it seems. They offer great daily specials with very good prices. Walked in late last night hungry, and very thirsty. The place was crowded for it being as late as it was for a weekday night. Our very nice waitress came over and took our drink order, great a few beers while we looked over the menu. We ordered blackened zingers and a steak Philly sandwich. Why do I like this place? TV screens throughout the entire place, nice size bar, good specials on beer and cocktails, decent food. And the prices can not be beat. We enjoyed our food and service was great! Really 3.5 stars... Open late, get some good grub and drinks in a fun very lively place. It's like a small step up from a good dive bar. Come as you are, and well just have fun!

I prefer the Davie Ale House over most. I come here only because it's closer to my house. The service here usually isn't remarkable. I've had my fair share of both good and bad experiences here. Sometimes the food quality is sub-par. I would encourage anyone to check out the Davie Ale House over this one though.

I always enjoy their naked chicken wings. I've been to several locations and every order was pretty consistent. But then again, can you really mess up deep fried wings? It's a decent place to hang out, I always like the high chairs so that when I'm eating my wings, my feet are dangling off the ground. :)

Excellent seafood- 30 shrimp buffalo style and the seafood bake are amazing. Also they have this pork dish that is baked, I forgot the name but it is absolutely killer and you have to try it. The lobsters, crab and shrimp were very fresh. Wasn't impressed with raw oysters- Wait staff is hit or miss but I am telling you- the food rocks and the beer selections on tap rock! Must go! Super casual sports bar kinda place with killer food.

The food was good and the atmosphere was good for coming to watch a sports game and grab a beer. Our server went above and beyond. However the management will end up costing that place big bucks. To start I ordered an IPA when I ordered a second one on draft I was served an amber ale. I told the waitress after I tasted it that it was the wrong beer. She took the beer back an apologized. She then returned with the same beer, which appeared to be have some extra sips taken out of it, and told me her manager had tasted it and told me I was mistaken that it was the IPA I ordered. I drank it anyway and tried again to get an IPA I was correctly served this time and was able to point out the difference in color of the beers to the server. If that wasn't bad enough the manager came out and sat two tables away and eat his soup staring at us. Then once he finished he proceeded to turn off the game we watching with 2:35 to go stating with the score being what it was the game was considered over. The place has great potential and good staff but management will run it into the ground treating customers like that.

Gotta love the Ale Houses in Fl. Not my neighbohood one but I drove to this one after I picked up my amazing girl from the airport. We were starving, and stopped by. The service was good, the food just like we ordered it. It never fails. I will continue being a fan of the place. For lunch, for dinner or for drinks, oh and I forgot, College and NFL football too....

My family and I visit the Hollywood Ale House often. We are always well taken care of by their staff and management. Our kids love to play the games as my husband and I relax and enjoy the fun atmosphere. The prices cannot be beat $2 cuervo shots, $5 Doubles of Captain Morgan and others. There is always a different lunch and dinner special everyday, and the food is generous and a great price. We highly recommend. Great place for families, teams, and happy hour.

Today this branch was the place we decided to go for a quick bite to eat before watching Avatar at the nearby Regal 18 Cinema. We had 40 minutes before showtime and were STARVING. We bought our movie tickets and hightailed it over to the Ale House praying we were hitting it at the right time, after the "formal' lunch hour and just before the early birds. Seated immediately and after a quick look at their menu decided on an order of mini pigskins for me, a BBQ beef sandwich for hubby and mac n cheese and hot dog for the kidsters. One pitcher of fizzy beer and we were set. "OH and we are catching a movie in 40 mins. OK?." Well, everything came out pretty fast. My pulled pork sliders were delicious and just enough to satisfy maybe two people if not all that hungry. At $6.99 for four sliders with fries this was great. The BBQ beef sandwich was just OK, but again, we were hungry and the price was right. Our server Adriana was on top of things, we never wanted for anything and she had us out of there in a half hour. The Ale Houses are a great chain. Reliable for the most part and with great value specials like their $4.95 lunch specials Mon - Fri 11am - 4pm. Yeah its not gourmet, but its solid bar food and I LOVE how they have the sports schedules printed on their Lunch Specials and Sports Page menu.

I'm reducing my overall rating for this location to 3 stars. If I were basing my review solely on yesterday's visit, I'd have probably given it less. I went here with a colleague on Monday at about 3:30 p.m. for a very late lunch/early dinner. We walked in and stood at the podium waiting to be seated, while the hostess and what appeared to be her manager or another employee sat in the first booth, saw were were there, but didn't stop their conversation and come to seat us for about 2 minutes. The place was fairly empty. In fact, there were literally more bar and service staff than there were customers. We were seated at one of the high tables with bar stool seating; I had to swap stools twice before I found one that wasn't sticky when I sat on it, and the table she sat us at hadn't been wiped off after the last patrons had sat there, as it was sticky in several spots. After about 5 minutes our waitress arrived to take our drink order and sent someone to wipe down the table. Though there were only 3 or 4 tables with customers seated at them and probably 1/2 dozen people at the bar, our drinks didn't arrive for at least another 7 or 8 minutes. Once we got our drinks and ordered our food, it did arrive fairly quickly and everything we ordered was very good (I had the Chinese Chicken Salad which was a bit unique and very tasty, my friend had a chicken sandwich with fries). For this most recent visit I'd give the food, menu, beer selection and dozens of plasma and LCD screens showing various sports channels a combined 4, but the service and cleanliness, at least where we were seated, gets a 1 or 2. I also knocked this place back to 3 stars because the last time I came here about 3 months ago for dinner on a Friday evening, the place was packed with seniors. Not that I have a problem with that, but when you're heading out with a group of friends to find a place for dinner and drinks on a Friday night, you're usually looking for a place with a bit of a younger clientele to interact with. The last thing I expected from an "Ale House" which is billed as a pub and sports bar, was to find it filled with wheelchairs and walkers on a Friday night.

They wouldn't let us watch a Dolphins game. In South Florida at a sports bar with 60 TV's they said some were already on that station. So I guess if I put my head on backwards that day then there wouldn't have been a problem. The waitress wanted to switch the channel but the manager wouldn't let her.

I don't usually come here to watch any games. Only to drink when there is nowhere else to go. And sometimes grab something unhealthy to eat. (Late night menu: Mozzarella sticks, spinach dip, 10 wings, mini burgers & stuff like that all for $5 each after 10pm every night) Never really sit at an actual booth, I prefer sitting in the hightop sections, especially with a big group, but it usually takes a little bit longer to get one of these tables. Hightops are just way funner than booths. Thursdays = ladies night, so it gets PACKED. Have fun trying to get a table, or even a spot to stand in. What do I drink here? The pitchers of Miller light are five bucks. Or you can get a bucket of five bud beers for $6.95. Pretty cheap. Vegas bombs and shots like those are 5 bucks also. It's helpful to know one of the bartenders. Otherwise you'll spend a lifetime trying to get ones attention. Unless you have a nice rack.

I tried to become a regular here but after 5 tmes I quit. The food is typical Ale House fod which is decent, nothing to write home about, but the service is meh...... The first time there was a great waitress, next 2 times not good at al, then another good one then a really rude one. The bad ones made me decide tht it simply was not worth the risk of another bad experience when there are so many other good places to eat in that area. So the 3 stars are for the 2 good tmes, the 0 stars are for the other 3.

Across the st from Dave & Busters I was at a couple of nights before. Here they had actual bartenders who were behind the bar and wanted to serve customers. They actually had many different games on the dozens of TV's. Got to watch my game as they actually had the local team on the TV, what a concept that D&B's doesn't grasp. Ordered some smoked fish dip for an app and it was very good. Then I took a gamble and ordered the seafood mac & cheese that turned out very good. Over all the place was hoping and the staff was hustling to actually wait on the customers. Good service combined with a great atmosphere and cold beer with very good food. It's called the hospitality business for a reason maybe D&B's should look across the st to see how it works. Definitely would visit this Ale House again.

Pricey, but the food was decent and all the portions were huge. The cheese sticks are awesome. M family and I came to arch the OSU vs. Michigan game while we were waiting for out hotel rooms to be ready. The seats are not meant to be used for that long all at once.

Ok, so I finally made it for the Wednesday night lobster dinner and once again, the place was packed! I love to see all the co-workers gathered after work to hang out. shows good moral as far as I am concerned. I only wish that I could figure out what their secret is. The chicken was bad, the lobster mediocre so what is it? I left it at three stars because for someone who's enjoyed a lobster in Maine, I shouldn't be too critical, right? I do need to ask the owner though, Is that really 1 1/4lb?

This was my second visit to this particular location, and I was sorely disappointed. No wait for a table this Sunday morning, but that's where the nice good news ends. Our food was pretty horrible - - Bistro Burger was served on a regular bun (instead of a ciabatta roll) and was stale and rock hard - Miller Steak Sandwich meat was tough and gristly - French fries were soggy and limp - Glasses of Diet Pepsi tasted suspiciously like regular, finally resorted to water instead To make matters worse, our server completely disappeared after dropping off our food - had to go to the bar to get silverware, and finally caught the attention of a manager. The manager on duty crudely came over and asked my friend if "that bun was better" - no apology, no semblance of any customer service or concern of any kind. If Spirit Airlines were to open a restaurant, this is probably what it'd be like - gets you full, but with awful service and food on the way.

This time we visited, it looked pretty crowded.. and was a bit surprised to get a seat right away. It was also a quick service.. My chinese chicken salad came in with noodles and spicy peanut sauce. The combination of that with vinegar made it kind of soggy for a take home meal from the left over. Next time I'll eat less wings to have room in my stomach for salad. lol This time I made it for the $1 happy hour drinks - the tequila sunrises. :)

This is not a gourmet restaurant but if you are looking for good bar food and an average selection of beers, this is a decent place. Just set your expectations correctly and you will be all set.

In a bind, and needed dinner late one night so my boyfriend phones in an order to pick up a couple salads. Long story short - I have no intention of eating here again. I get that it's a bar so maybe they're "bar food" (wings, fries, etc) is decent... I wouldn't know. But I do know that it was the WORST caesar salad I have ever had. I got the caesar because I'd never eaten there and figured it would be the easiest salad for them to make - and therefore the hardest to messup, but that's not the case. The dressing didn't taste anything like caesar dressing. The lettuce tasted like it had been sitting uncovered exposed to refrigeration. I don't know how to describe the taste but having worked in food service for almost 10 years... you just... recognize it. I had them add blackened salmon to the salad - which also tasted nothing like salmon. So I ended up throwing most of the salad away :( My advice: Don't waste your money!

The drink specials here suck and so do the drinks. I had one of their margaritas that lacked flavor and tequila. Ugh the nerve. I gave this place 2 starts because their 35 shrimp scampi pasta was really delicious and I was surprised that it wasn't popcorn shrimp. Lastly our server was rude and impatient. He rushed our orders and we had to ask for silverware after our food was served. My friend asked for a small to go box and he said they ran out. Only to bring another person at our table a small to go box. lol

A nice regional chain. Food is good, service is slow. Blacken chicken was nice. I was expecting traditional rice and beans in S. Fla but pico de gallo on wild rice?? Hey it;s a sports bar... right They must have 30 beers on taps so, relax and enjoy

this USED to be one of our favorite bars we love the food, and they USED to have good drinks & good bartenders & good times there NO MORE! we have only been here twice in the last couple years, and both times it was a bad experience 1. if you pay for double drinks, you should GET double drinks nope - the bartenders here think you are an idiot, and single pour, but charge you for doubles - when you call them out on it, you'll get an attitude 2. sub-par drinks, bartending, & service we know this is a sports bar - but come on. how hard is it to pour drinks or shots? not hard - on our last visit - we were ordering several kinds of shots in our party - all of them were horrible - tasted like dirty dishwater - let the bartender know and they said "oh, don't worry about it - we'll remake it and not charge you" a few hours later, guess what - they thought we were drunk and charged us FOR EVERY SINGLE CRAPPY DRINK THEY MADE THAT WE SENT BACK NEVER AGAIN! alehouse - you should be ashamed - and so should you, JACK!

Almost forgot about my bad experience here. About two months ago I went here with two friends who were hesitant to eat here and I convinced them to give it a try. We ordered some chips and salsa and some sandwiches. Long story short, there were two tiny german roaches in the salsa and I will never eat there again. When we talked to by the manager he insisted that they spray for roaches twice a month and when they do "sometimes this happens and it's out of our control." Ummm yea...if roaches are out of your control I will not be eating here again thanks. I'll stick to your cheap drinks.

I have never been a big fan of the Ale House, just too commercial for me. The bartenders are never that friendly. But, if you do go to eat dinner, try the Ossobusco - Marinated Pork Shank - it is dam good. And, if you like Miller Lite you can beat the $5 pitchers they have all the time.

I go to this place pretty often. I like it and it is definitely in my regular rotation. Sometimes I go with my family and get a pretty good meal. Both me and my parents love the wings. Sometimes, however, I'll go with a group of friends and have a great time. It's a good place to watch the game or a fight, grab a bite, and get a pitcher of beer or something to drink to wash it all down. As a side note, one big minus about this place for me is that they recently changed the salsa. I used to love getting the chips and salsa. The dip is amazing, but it was nice to get unlimited chips with their salsa. Now I just can't enjoy that as much anymore. But it wasn't enough to bump it down from a four, at least not for me.

Last day of our vacation and someone at the hotel suggested this place. There were six of and we all LOVED our food. I had the Seafood Mac n Cheese and thought that it was awesome. Someone else had the Pork Shank, I can't remember what it was called but the meet fell off of the bone and tasted great. The service was good, the beers were cheap and the men were happy with all of the TVs. I really wish that we had a place like this in CA.

When I lived in Florida, I loveddddd coming to the ale house. I came back, and the zingers were smaller, and it didnt seem like the typical ale house quality. I was very disappointed. The service was decent, Im not sure if it was this particular location or what but man was it pretty bad.

The chicken quesadillas were quite good, also the guacamole doesn't come with them so you have to ask for it. The rice and beans on the side were pretty nasty and gooey. I ordered a side of steamed brocolli which was pretty flavorful, not too overcooked, and tasted delicious dipped in a side of melted cheese! The beer specials are always pretty good, and the service is just ok. I would go back.

We go to this ale house location once a year when we're down at a conference in S. Florida for a relaxing night of cheap beer (yeah $5 pitchers) decent grub and good hospitality. The food is OK (burgers, wings, ribs) to good (pasta orleans, bahamian dolphin). The kitchen can be slow but the waitstaff is cool. Its a very laid-back atmosphere with cheap drink specials and sports every which way you turn.

Wow two location down and a couple more togo. I like the Ale House. I love that the ladies nigt is different at every location. The food Rocks and the drinks are good, from the Sweet Tea to the Liquor/Beer. Its a great place to hang out and catch a game/sporting event.

we went here to watch the semi final in the women's world cup. we ordered the mahi mahi sandwich and the build your own hamburger. both were delicious and well-priced. the piece of fish on my sandwich was huge! we were mostly interested in the game and not our food though.

Not just a favorite watering hole. Also a favorite place to eat. My only problem with this place is it's owned by Miller's and they only have specials on Miller's which is my least favorite domestic beer. Anyways, I love their french onion soup. The cobb salad is good. The zingers...yum! However, I almost always order the Miller's Steak Sandwich. It's not phillie style but it's different in a good way. The bread is garlic bread and the cheese is thick and melted. This is a really good sandwich. In fact, I'm thinking about getting take out for lunch now that I'm talking about it. They have a great bar that's always got a few straglers gathered around it no matter what time you go and there are big TVs everywhere. Great sports bar! Also try one of their millions of other locations. (i.e. North Miami, Davie, Gainesville, Orlando, Pines..and those are just the ones that I've actually been too) When I was in college (UF-Gainesville) we used to go here and wednesdays and they had great deals on buckets of beer. Whenever we were done with a beer we would put it back in the bucket upside down. Everyone did it and I still can't figure out why. Maybe like a little victory dance, equivalent to smashing the can on your head. Who knows? But either way I love Ale House!

I have been to millers ale house alot and have watched it decline over the years. I went at least three times a week. The service has gotten worse and the food is awful now. The last time I went a friend and I were going to the movies and stopped in for a quick bite (which took over 45 minutes for tacos and a sandwich). We had to have it boxed to go. As we began to eat before the movies her food was ice cold and my food had a long piece of hair. I emailed the General Manager and never heard back. They have offically lost me as a customer.
