Great Seafood with a Peruvian twist!!! Affordable selections with something for everyone. My favorite appetizer is Leche de Tigris which is a form of ceviche that is spicy an extremely delicious, served even with floating corn. Trust me, it's good. The beer, regional, is also very good, must try it.

Good Peruvian food, not best , but close. This service is average, nothing to brag about. The food is a 7 from scale of 1 to 10. They do have some gods specials , I believe 50% off from 5 to 7, not sure the exact time

I happened to come here because I was nearby and I walked to it. I love Peruvian food I usually go to Cvichs 954 on Hollywood but like I said I didnt have a car and I was hungry. I will never return....I was so upset that I got up paid and left. The food lacked flavor I order the Pollo Saltado and it was thigh meat not breast. Never again! I wish they could improve their food because the place looks very well decorated.

Let's see where do I begin: waited 15 minutes to be served by a weitress who evidently seemed not to know what was going on. Once we were actually seen we placed our order for a Lomo saltado and a grilled fish. Waited for the food another 20-25 minutes when the food was finally brought only one dish came out. We waited another 15 minutes for the second dish meanwhile my food got cold. When my girlfriends food finally came out the fish was cold and you could bounce the fork off the fish. The food was sub par and we noticed that other clients were waiting for food to come out or to pay their bills for over 10 minutes. Canchitas we ordered never came out and we were charged for them. Overall: this place is a DUMP WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO MY WORST ENEMY. Don't believe me just look at their dirty floors. With all the delicious Peruvian cuisine there is absolutely no reason for this place to exist to take your hard earned money.

I love the atmosphere here! We were just missing lime to make the food delish, the ceviche was not as good as it looked and the onions werent fresh :( , mussels were good and i really liked the Aguadito de Pescado soup. Till next time!

I actually ate here a few weeks ago... I was very disappointed with the level of service and the quality of food. I was referred by a good to try it out. First off, the ceviche is made from frozen products only. Advertised as never frozen... We were greeted by our server about 5 minutes after we sat down. Gave our drink order so we could look over menu. A few minutes later we got our drinkings and gave food order. Mind you the was a large party of in other dining room. Server said, let me get your order in before large party. Of course that didn't happen. The ceviche which requires no cooking at all. It came out an hour later with our meals. While we waited, the server never came back to check on us. Definitely some of the worst service I've experienced. The food was nothing out of the ordinary. I've had better quality of food and service from La Granja. There was no apology from our server and when I asked to speak with a manager. Supposedly he was unavailable . When in the heck are they unavailable. I will never eat here again and advise other to dine else where.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. I have never been unsatisfied with the food or the service. The prices are decent. I usually come here on Valentine's Day or holidays when other restaurants have long wait times. This is one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants!

The area I was sitting at was absolutely FREEZING. I'm wearing a jacket and I'm still cold. But no denying the food is absolutely delicious. Ceviche was so tender it melted in my mouth. And my partner loved his meal very very much. Recommend coming here with a jacket and an empty belly. You'll be full!

I thought I reviewed them? I like them. Never had a problem besides some of the servers know less English than others. I love their seafood saltado, lomo saltado & lomo chorilana? I get the fries on the side now & love their colored dipping sauces. They have lunch specials for $5.99 which are also tasty even tho today's was a bit on the saltier side. I visit this one often. Plus the prices are very reasonable esp compared to Cuban food at $15+ for the same flank steak!

Delicious, cheap prices with large portions. Cute decor. I absolutely love their pesto noodles & chicken! I don't usually get pasta or care much for it but this is one of my favorites here. It's also really good to get the fried yuca sticks and dip them in their delicious cheese sauce! Almost licked the bowl clean. I can't really say much on anything shellfish related though as I am allergic. Fed two very hungry people, 2 entrees and an appetizer for under 25$ and left with leftovers! Will be going here many times again.

Horrible service, great food. If you want really good food at the expense of service, then you won't be dissapointed with this place. Their ceviche is pretty good, and their seafood fried rice is the best. The service is horrible.

Ceviche was fresh and tasted flavorful. Great presentation and it was the star of the meal. As stated in other reviews service is spotty. Communication in English was a challenge with the staff, and one of the orders was served incorrectly as a result. Grilled Chicken had great seasoning, the pesto sauce with the pasta tasted good as well. Skirt steak was a bit salty for my taste, but the fried egg and dripping yolk offered a bit of a balance. Prices are affordable, I would go again because of the strong ceviche starter, and give a few other menu items a try.

Great food, awesome Ceviches. I've been there few times with my family, my wife likes the Chaufa, , the staff is friendly the prices are very reasonable, is a great place for family a groups, the Concha Negra ceviche is my favorite.

I have been here a few times. Food is alway good to great, portions are generous, always satisfying. The desserts are ok, I think they make them in advanced and they may sit in the case for a few days, but I still eat them. The service is great, until the place is full, then it slows down a bit. I would definitely go there for lunch or dinner anytime.

I eat here at least twice a month. The decor is nothing fancy and I agree with another teller that it always feels "empty" even when it's not. I always order the ceviche mixto which includes shrimp, fish, octopus, scallops, a mussel, with 2 different types of corn and a slice of sweet potato. Oh and medium spicy. Delish!!! My husband has ordered: bistec a lo pobre (grilled steak with rice, beans, French fries and a fried egg), pescado a lo pobre (grilled fish with fish sauce and white rice) and yuca a la huancaina ( fried yucca with this yellow sauce that tastes like heaven- buttery, creamy, garlicky, I can't quite put my finger on it). I would definitely give this place a try. Also if you go M-F between 5-8 pm you get 20% off your total. Me and hubby usually end up spending about $30 and we each get an appetizer and share a plate. Yes we are pigs, what?

The ceviche mixto is very good. The seafood chaufa is great! Service is good but the place needs some new decor. Overall would recommend as a casual place to eat.

I've been to about 2-3 Peruvian restaurants since moving down from NYC, and you know, what pisses me off is that I can't seem to get past anything that doesn't have steak. Maybe it's because I'm of Uruguayan descent, who knows? Look, I admire Peruvian cuisine, in fact, I think it's the greatest in the world, but could I ever be a true aficionado by rarely ordering ceviche, or some other seafood dish? I'll break into it someday, hopefully. Las Totoritas' isn't any different from any other family-owned Peruvian restaurant in Broward/Dade. Okay, I'll take that back, there's a slight difference. Between 5 p.m and 8 p.m., you can get your favorite Peruvian dishes like Lomo Saltado, Chicharron de Pescado, Ceviche de Pescado, etc, for less than $6. I came here with a friend and I got everything as expected: Family-prepared style dishes, attentive service, and a low-cost meal. My friend, who's Peruvian, was satisfied by everything, too. As long as they do this, they'll have a returning customer.

/ Bistec Apanado and Chorros a la Chalaca / A long, long time ago... I can still remember How that ...Peruvian food... used to make me smile. Ok, well, a long time ago I didn't have the same tastes. Ever since, I've started to be able to experience a wide variety of foods. All that said, Las Totoritas has changed quite a bit since I last was here. They expanded their dining area to allow for a much larger crowd. The only downside I feel is that it "feels" empty even when there are many people are seated. I came for lunch and my party ordered "Chorros a la Chalaca", oysters with ceviche layered on top. Our waiter asked us how spicy to make it and I was happy with their "medium" level. I was rather surprised at the overall taste of the Chorros. I didn't know what to expect. Two thumbs up. For my entree I had a Bistec Apanado (Breaded Steak). Boy oh boy was it filling! I had it "al Pobre" (I believe that's the term) where in the side came with white rice and a sunny side up egg with baked (brown) beans on the side. Between this dish and the aforementioned appetizer, I was full for the day! Great complete meal for lunch! My only quip is that I never got a refill on my glass of water. Bottom Line: Very good. I wonder how authentic it is.

Had the lomo saltado which did the trick. Food was good but nothing out of the ordinary, standard Peruvian fair. Service was solid but the restaurant was completely empty which is a bad sign. I'd go back to try some of the other options on the menu.

I'm by no means an expert on Peruvian food, but I'm going to say this place "hits the spot"... Although the place itself isn't at all fancy or nice, their food is good and very tasty... Their ceviche is flavorful and yummy... They also have several other dishes, which are very well seasoned and very tasty. I ordered a "Lomo A lo Pobre" and the steak was nice and tender.. Their desserts are also very good and taste like homemade. The service could be better; I think the waiters are slow and sluggish... Also, the music is horrendously annoying..

3.5 stars if I could give half stars. My friend has been RAVING about this place for the last year, about awesome Peruvian food that's affordable. The seafood is good, tasty, lots of it, and affordable. It was less than 20 a person, and we had family sized portions, for just 6 people. and it was still A LOT Of food. don't order family sized portions! Yummyness you MUST Try: - DE PESCADO Y AMARON FAMILIAR- family sized ceviche. mmm! Super tasty. - PESCADO A LO MACHO - fish filet with seafood sauce. - JALEA FAMILIAR - family sized, deep fried seafood. Opt for the smaller sized. - LOMO SALTADO - stir fried beef with onions, tomatoes, and french fries. mm! Tasty. my mom makes a dish like this. its has that home-cooked meal to it. yum! - LOMO a lo pobre - skirt steak, beans, plaintains, fried egg, rice. a good skirt steak. Choros a la chalaca - mussels with onion and tomato in lime. we ordered 2 of these. - this was alright, not great. (tastes like the ceviche. don't waste your money ordering both, and just get the ceviche one, way better. Drink: - get the SANGRIA. it's only 12 dollars a glass. the fruit is from a fruit cocktail can though, but still tasty Service: - it was alright, a bit overwhelming though. we over-ordered, per the waitress's recommendation to order family size everything. but after a while the dishes were all similar, shrimp scallop fish filet, repeat but in a different sauce. so if you're eating family STYLE with a group of friends, get regular sized and go ahead and order. there will be more than enough food. OH! And the food came all out at once (Apps and entrees all came out. not enough room at our table, so they pulled an extra table to store the dishes... maybe bringing it out slower would work? just an opinion). The servers were nice. typical of davie. a place worth trying for the affordable seafood though.

Inconspicuous-looking Peruvian restaurant on Pines Blvd but, now that I know about it, I plan on returning often. Service is fast and friendly, reasonable prices. Today's lunch: Maracuya juice ($2), Leche de Tigre ($4: Tiger's Milk, which is a glass of cebiche juice - lime juice, fish, onions and hot pepper garnished w/ a shrimp and slice of lime), Choros a la chalaca ($6.50: Mussels w/ onion in lemon juice), Jalea ($9.75: fried seafood platter of shrimp, clams, calamari, mussels, oysters and onions); most dishes include delicious cancha nuts and peruvian corn. Mmm...muy rico!
