Tried their Chicken Fried Rice bowl (which they recently added to their menu) and their Kappa (cucumber) Roll, and for the price of it, I'd say it was pretty fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. Service was pretty good, and took about 10-15 minutes for my order to arrive. This is a pretty small location right in Downtown Hollywood, but their menu is rather large, as they also offer lunch boxes, value combos, family packs, other types of rolls, and even dessert! I'm told you can also order online, delivery is available, and there are other locations in the region.

LOVE their miso soup although I wish a had more tofu in it. If u like a lil spice in ur life I HIGHLY recommend their S&S dragon roll & edemame r my fav!
(3)Andres S.
Sushi was fresh and well prepared, miso soup was a bit watery but ok, and the ginger salad was pretty good. Sushi Selection is decent and it seems they have good lunch options till 230 pm For the price it is definitely worth eating here as the quality is comparable to higher priced sushi restaurants Service is good but not friendly like I'm used to. As long as they are quick and respectful, I don't care if they don't smile!

Long story short: I am a fan. I came in almost right as they were closing and they were super friendly and happy to see me. They have a very extensive menu to choose from so it took me a little to decide. They have your common sushi fare as well as tofu steak, squid salad, baby octopus, & jalapeno tuna rolls to name a few. Now mind you, I must stress that I am not a seafood fan. I typically order the gyoza, or tempura style sushi. I didn't see any tempura sushi in my rush to quickly order something off the menu so these nice people could go home. I mentioned to the gentleman behind the front counter what I like and he made some suggestions, and I settled on the volcano roll (which is a baked scallop roll). The food is made to order - just the way I like it. I will admit that it looked a little interesting - it had a lot of this orange colored stuff on top which I honestly still cant exactly say what it was - but it was tasty. The roll was delicious! I was prepared to get my food and be one my way, but one of the guys offered for me to stay and eat. Anywhere else would have given me my food and rushed me out the door. I was so sad that I came as late as I did and didn't have time to order anything else, but I will definitely be back.

It's an odd sushi place...mostly in a good way. Its probably the most affordable sushi place I've come across outside of those lower grade Sushi Buffets. Here you find combos, single rolls, and lunch specials. I wouldn't really recommend dinner here as it seems too casual for it. The quality of the Sushi is great for the price and wasn't disappointed by it. It was a bit strange not having ice water for a restaurant (they had warm temperature) and if you eat there you have to ask for water. The utensils are all plastic and its like a cafeteria...kind of odd in a bad way. I also had to ask for napkins, and it was a given at the time we were going to eat inside so usually this stuff comes standard. Still come for the Sushi, they sushi staff is friendly, but still can't make much of what the waiter service is, actually it was kind of confusing!

I cannot eat here with a clean conscious anymore. We did a major house renovation and it involved eating out a lot and their sushi is OK. But their prices are also very cheap. the problem with this place is there is not ONE thing that is not a throw away item. This place is horrible for the environment- everything is served in throwaway plastic- cups, knives, serving trays- everything goes in the garbage. I'd rather spend a little more and not feel horribly guilty about how much styrofoam I just put into the trash. Not worth it. And the food is only okay. You can't even order a cup of ice because they don't have an ice machine and if you do get a cup of water it will come in a styrofoam cup. MEH.

Iron Sushi left delivery flyers all over my building. When we were hungry for some sushi we pulled out their menu. We chose Iron Sushi because we liked the combos on the menu and had good experiences from their South Beach location. We chose the Family Style Amigo Platter. Here's the breakdown: Delivery: We were promised delivery in 30 minutes. It took 60. The platter comes with: California Roll-tasty. Hard to mess up Shrimp Tempura- good, but rolled very loosely and fell apart Dancing Eel- They did not send eel sauce. It was a california roll with some small scraps of eel on the outside. Crunch Roll- tasted like they collected all of the leftover burnt scraps in the deep fryer and rolled them up in rice. JB-They got this right and omitted the cream cheese as requested. Tuna-Standard tuna roll. Overall: 3/5 stars.

One of the worst places ever!!! Very bad service, delivery super slow, I received my order almost 2 hours after I order. The delivery guy told me that he have to clean the place before he leaves, and the boss will be very mad if not. that's why he came so late. I order cheesecake and everything was melted, my hot fried sushi was cold and soggy. Please don't try. The price is low but it doesn't worth it! You lost a customer for sure.

Just had the worst experience at Iron Sushi on Young Circle. The food is decent and very cheap, which is why we go, however the girl at the front (Andrea) has a serious attitude problem. After getting our order wrong for delivery we went to go pick it up and when the order was still wrong she got an attitude with me. The nerve! I tried politely to correct the teenager but she only got louder... she even had an attitude with her boss. This girl needs a serious attitude adjustment. Although the food is cheap and pretty good they just lost a customer. Sayonara, Iron Sushi...
(2)Al P.
Good sushi and good prices, the promos are OK. Now, they don't deserve more than 2 stars because of their terrible service on the phone or at the counter. I stopped tipping them since they don't deserve a cent from me with their bad attitude and it's not one employee, it's all of them. Good for ordering and picking up without even talking with the girl at the counter.
(2)Jaynie T.
Service was good but the food is terrible. This is not sushi. We ordered a few items and it was awful. We've traveled all over for good sushi because my family owns a sushi restaurant but these portions are tiny and they put too much sauce on it. It's freshly made but it's not worth the money at all. It was pretty gross to be honest. Sriracha on a dragon roll when it's supposed to be avocado? Yuck!
(1)Ruben M.
The food has always been goodand the people are usually friendly but tiday I was encountered by the RUDEST person I have ever been waited on by in a restaurant ever. This is the Miami Shores branch

Really good and fresh food. It took a little while, but it was worth the wait. I had pork dumplings and the beef teriyaki. Everything was great!!
(5)Diana H.
This is a really nice iron sushi, nice location with a great outdoor seating area. Food is always fresh, affordable and quick! One of my go to spots for sushi, I usually get the rainbow roll or avocado roll.

The reason why I gave four stars rating was because I used to work there as Chef. The staffs there are like my family. Food wise, you get what you paid for. It is what it is. Fast food sushi is what Iron is all about. Many options to choose from. They even got combo deals where you can get soup, salad, or a drink as a side. If you're looking for highly decorated sushi platters with garnishes and glitters, then this place is not for you. They're geared towards quantity with an OK quality. Cheese cake tempura is a must try. Their Fire Roll is great! Friendly Indonesian Chefs that would make you laugh if you engage them in a conversation, and also pretty cashiers who could possibly entertain your eyes while you chew. Just don't come after 10pm though, you might get some weird looks. Hahaha
(4)B. M.
I only came to get a cold drink but after seeing the menu they serve ramen soups and bowl dishes other than just sushi. So I ended up getting a chicken and rice bowl which was fantastic. The cashier brought us the food about 10 minutes later but she's not very personable. She doesn't greet you with a smile, barely looks you in the eye and throws my card on the counter after swiping it instead of handing it back. I don't think those 3 things are too much to ask for when you're working in the service industry. While eating I did notice the delivery driver, cashier and another girl just like standing around behind the counter like zombies doing nothing. Well the driver was counting his tip money if you call that working. Maybe they had a bad night or something but all three looked like they dreaded being there. If you're not happy quit. For those reasons they only get 3 stars and no tip. If I could give 2.5 stars I would. And it was quiet for a Saturday night. How they continue to stay in business is beyond me.
(3)Stuart S.
I started off as a big fan of this place, but each time I give them my business I lose a little more interest. First, lets start with the food. As their name would suggest, this restaurant serves sushi. The sushi is certainly not bad, but at the same time it would never make anyone's top ten place for quality sushi. It is basically a step above sushi you would find at a supermarket. However, I do not really knock it for this because as I said, the sushi still is pretty good, but it is more like the "poor man's" sushi restaurant. It is the McDonald's equivalent of sushi as you will find this place as the most reasonably priced sushi. But you must take that in stride with it not being the greatest, but at the same time it is very economical. In order to take advantage of such inexpensive prices for their sushi, the rolls are substantially skinnier than rolls you would find at most other sushi establishments. Two of my most recent take out visits disappointed me in the wait time. Each time they told me that my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. So I arrived after 25 minutes, but both times it took over 40 total minutes for them to fill the order. This is really a huge negative mark in my mind as I am picking it up and I could leave my home to get it at any time. So if you tell me 20 minutes then you should not make me wait and waste an additional 20 minutes or more of my time. Today was another disappointment. I called and ordered a take out of their ramen soup for my sick throat. The girl on the phone told me that they did not have ramen; only miso. I told her I was surprised as I have purchased that many times before and even described it. Then suddenly she said that they did have it. Wtf? So then I ordered the pork ramen, but she told me that they did not have the key ingredient...pork. Ok, I still wanted the soup because I needed a warm meal for my throat, but when I asked about adjusting the price she told me that they would not. Now why would you change the same price when the main (and most expensive) ingredient is missing? When I arrived to pick up my meal I found her to lack a personality or any customer service of any kind whatsoever. If you scroll down and look at the majority of the reviews you will find reviewer after reviewer complaining about the service. IF this business cared at all about being better then they would correct this immediately!
(2)Belle L.
The food is good and fast. But the service sucks the girl behind the counter should be trained better and the delivery driver should learn how to read directions because I had to walk a block out of my way to retrieve my delivery but the food is good
(2)Ashlee M.
The 2 stars are simply because the service there is bad to the point where going there makes me uncomfortable. They consistently hire young women to work the phones/ take orders/ and cashier that are just plain rude. I get take-out from there once or twice a week at dinner time. The girl at the cashier has never once looked me in the eye... I mean you have to make a concerted effort to avoid eye-contact with that kind of fervor. She has never once handed my credit card back to me, she always slaps it on the counter. It's a shame because the food isn't half bad and it's very reasonably priced; however, I don't feel the need to battle their impractical parking lot just to get in there and deal with blatant rudeness.

Nice little chill spot where u can get fresh sushi at a great price it was my first time and sure not gonna be the last

Fast, fresh, inexpensive. Also decorated very cute, very modern with bright colors. Perfect lunch or post-workout spot. Right on the circle. The sushi chefs are very friendly and put a lot of care into the food.

Let me first start off by saying that I gave the third star simply because the prices are very fair and the food is pretty good. Having said that, let's get into it. I've eaten at Iron Sushi at the very least, 10 times so far. The first time I ordered I was a walk-in. The girl taking the orders was anything but smart. I don't mean to be mean but the customers before me were having the hardest time placing their order (mind you, everything's numbered) because the girl they have working there seemed incapable of understanding their simple requests. She kept repeating what they asked, then she'd write it wrong and repeat back to them a wrong order. I thought maybe because the couple before me had accents, that she was just really bad at understanding Russian sounding English. Finally when its my turn, its the same story. The sushi chef even asked her in front of us all "what's wrong with you?" I don't know, maybe just a bad day. The next few times that I've ordered has been delivery. I have to tell you what made me write this review was purely out of being so annoyed about them calling me after I have placed the order to ask me how much I'm going to tip the driver. They close at 10:30. I placed my order at 8:58. The girl calls me back to tell me she's trying to close the register so how much am I going to tip the driver so she could add it to my card. I'm sorry but I find this extremely rude, unprofessional and above all TACKY. This is the 2nd time they've done this to me. The first time I called back and spoke to a "manager" who couldn't seem to wrap his mind around the point I was making. I don't need a delivery driver dropping my food or doing whatever else because he may not like the tip I'm giving. Not saying Iron Sushi's delivery driver would do such a disgusting thing, BUT it's 2014 and I put nothing past anyone and try not to give people reasons to do such things either. I guess I'm old-fashioned to where I believe in getting the service and then tipping based upon how that service was rendered. I've never in my life had a restaurant ask me what I'm going to tip because they're trying to close. Other than that, when I want cheap Sushi and don't feel like paying Siam Oshi prices I'll order Iron Sushi with the forethought to have extended patience and the expectation to tip before served. Unbelievable.
