Great service and great food! All the food is made to order and the Lasagna is out of this world! Our server Lorraine is the best :)

I used to order delivery from here almost weekly, I tried again last night simple cheese steak and onion rings. I love their onion rings. Last night's order was so bad even my cat refused the "steak!" I ask them to put the food in plastic containers to preserve heat and crispness, didn't work. Rings were soggy and tepid, no discernible mushrooms or cheese on the sandwich. So disappointed, not trying again...

We like it here- it's super-clean, the service is really good & the food quite tasty. We really like the garlic bread with cheese because it has real, fresh garlic in it. The Greek pizza & meat pizza are our go-to, so we get a large & ask them to split the toppings instead of ordering 2 separate pizzas. They are attentive, accommodating & always good. We are happy to have found this place since moving here last year. Seems a lot of places are somewhat dirty & understaffed or the food just not-so-great. None of those problems here. We will be moving in December, but will definitely be back for more pizza & garlic bread before we go!

Wanted to get a pizza, but I wanted to try somewhere different. Then while going through the mail, I came across a flyer from Grande Pizza Co.. Not only do they have different sizes and varieties of pizza, but they also have pasta dishes, appetizers, salads, homemade soup, hot & cold subs, desserts, and other Italian dishes. Grande Pizza Co. is a small business located in the Park Sheridan West Plaza. As soon as you walk in, an employee greets you and asks if you're dining in or take out. The walls are decorated with pictures of classic Italian movies/shows such as The Godfather, Reservoir Dogs, and The Sopranos. With the use of a coupon, I ordered a large 16 inch 4 topping (pepperoni, ham, sausage, mushroom) pizza. It was a 20 minute wait, but as soon as I was handed my hot box of freshly made pizza; I couldn't wait to take it home. The smell coming from the box was so inviting it made me want to dig right in. The pizza was pretty good. The crust was soft and baked to a golden brown with fresh toppings. I would like to return and try their pasta dishes. Grande Pizza Co. has made me a fan.

We had my daughter's 8th birthday there last Saturday and had a blast!!! The staff is BEYOND generous, nice, attentive and welcoming! Being from up north, we tend to be picky about "OUR" pizza.......BUT SLAMDUNK!!!!! The cheese was delectable, the slices were applicable for our party-size and EVERYONE enjoyed it to the last morsel! Thank you so much for your patience (with 8 children and 9 adults) and continued care! Will definitely be a repeat offender of the pizza!! LOL

Eh, the delivery was fast. The food wasn't terrible but it wasn't good. The mozzarella is okay. They didn't have very much flavor and were not sticks (large and flat). The marinara sauce was extremely bland. The pizza was okay, but again it was bland. Overall BLAND.

Went for dinner and used a groupon. Ordered a medium pizza w/ pineapple & onion, manicotti, and lentil soup w/ garlic rolls. Our server Lorraine was super sweet and really made us feel comfortable. This place has excellent garlic rolls (super soft in the center and crispy on the outside). The pizza was on thin & crispy but a tad wet on top but that could've been from the pineapple...mancotti was great. We'll be back for sure.

I had a late lunch here on a weekday. I was starving. I had been awake since 4 AM and had traveled by plane from St. Louis to Detroit and ultimately to Fort Lauderdale. Airport food is always expensive, but with essentially zero time between flights, I did not even have time to grab a $10 sandwich. I was in the mood for something really filling, and my first thought was pizza. I randomly picked Grande Pizza because it was only about five miles from the airport. I expected a typical pizza place with no waiter service, where you order at the counter and wait for your food to be brought to your table. However, this location has waiters. Well, they at least had a waitress. Only one waitress appeared to be working that day. She told us to seat ourselves, and then she came to our table to take our order. She was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. My husband and I made a big mistake (literally) by ordering a pepperoni Sicilian pizza. It was gigantic. We needed at least two more people to help us eat it. Some consider Sicilian pizza to be the ancestor of Detroit-style pizza. I was hoping this pizza would be kind of like Jet's or Little Caesars' Detroit-style pizza, super-thick with toppings to the edge and a nicely browned cheesy rim around the perimeter of the pizza. It wasn't, but if I had wanted Detroit-style pizza I probably should have gone somewhere that served that. I know, I know. Too bad I didn't have time when I was briefly in Detroit at the airport! :) The Sicilian pizza had a crust with a medium thickness. The edge pieces had a decently sized untopped crust for you to grip while eating the pizza, if you're into that kind of thing. I'm not sure how they cook the pizza here (e.g., what kind of oven), but the crust was really burnt. Maybe I should say it was significantly charred. I'm not a pizza expert, but I understand charred crust is sort of a style of pizza and that some people like black splotches on their crust. I'm just not one of those people. Most of the burnt parts were on the bottom of the crust, but in my picture, you can see some of the dark crust at the right-hand side. I'm torn between giving this place 2 (Meh. I've had better.) or 3 (A-OK) stars. On one hand, the pizza wasn't horrible. I was starving, and it definitely was filling. On the other hand, I didn't love it. If I lived in the Fort Lauderdale area, I probably wouldn't go back. However, the service here was good. I'm going to write-off the blackened crust as "just not my taste," and I'll give them 3 stars for the service and for feeding me a huge meal in my time of need. That pizza put the "grande" in Grande Pizza. Note: Just twelve hours after posting this review, I have been informed that Grande Pizza has a Detroit-style pizza that they call "Crusty Cheese." Dang. I wish I had known. :)

Great place to come with the family, very kid friendly. Lorraine, our waitress, was really nice and gave great service. I highly recommend the pepperoni roll, it was delicious! Our antipasto salad was good, and the kids loved the spaghetti and meatballs! Will definitely be back!

Ordered a 'white pizza' and was pretty good! Took a little longer to get the pizza then I would've liked. It was a date night with me and my son and the server asked me if MY son will eat it. Kinda bothered me. I know what my kid likes! He is mine after all. Anyways. It was empty so no wait on that end. It might be a place we come back too.

i had a groupon, very friendly folks, they seemed to have a lot of regular customers they greeted by name. fried calamari was tasty but a little to chewy, the sauce was right on. tomato basil soup (one of my favs) was fantastic. garlic knots were sinful and addicting, if i lived closer to this place i would gain 20 pounds quickly. my biggest disappointment was the pasta with white clam sauce. although the portion was huge, it tasted off. clams were obviously out of a can, not enough clam and garlic flavor, and to lemony. i saw many people coming in for take out pizza so i will be back to try it and pick up a fix of garlic knots. one of the few places I've found down here that sells pizza by the slice, Brooklyn style.

Not impressed. The food was just ok. As in it was sustenance... I placed my order online for delivery but somehow they ended up putting the wrong address on the order. Maybe it was the added wait/anticipation that caused an extra let down to what I finally ended up being delivered, but I'm just really not impressed. Will definitely never order from here again.

What a disappointment. The pizza was overpriced, tasteless and soggy. No thanks. The caprese pizza literally had no flavor. I had to add salt, can you imagine. The tomatoes on the pizza were not ripe. The cheese was rubber, the crust was meh. Very disappointed, we didn't even eat the entire pizza, we threw it away.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
