Coney Island Joe's is owned and operated by a man named Elliot. They make the best hot dogs in town, more like in Florida! Feels like I'm on Coney Island! He makes the hot dogs himself, cooked perfectly. I got a plain grilled hot dog with ketchup and mustard. It is shady, and they have a TV. Great place, i'm so coming back!

So I feel like eating hot dogs for lunch and decide to let yelp help me out with my search. Quickly, Coney Island Joe's pops up with a 5 star rating, My fellow yelpers seem to be OMG about this place, but I am thinking it's a bit more LOL. Granted, this is a pushcart style stand lining a parking lot with other biz like the rose vendor and the sno cone shack. Not to disrespect the business, but this spot is a 3 at it's apex. I had the most basic offering they had there as I have found that that is the safest way to try cart food, start with the simple average item to see what they do with that before going yard on the menu . I had the 2 water dogs, side and soda deal. I asked if the cole slaw and/or potato salad was heavy on mayo and was told it was not.. At first I ordered the potato salad and when I saw that it was a heavy mayo mix, I opted for a bag of chips instead. The dogs are average, at best. True, they serve Sabrett all beef, but they're just plain hot dogs. It's cart style, and the actual spot itself is a chain link construction with nylon top, wall and sign, hence it is like eating at a hot shack. The gentleman that served me was nice and polite. I am sure that there are other items on the menu that are better, but I found this spot totally underwhelming and not deserving of any of the 5 star or even 4 star ratings that this spot has..

Elliott is cool great stories!! Great Food!! Every time I'm in Hollywood Florida I'll stop by "it's the little things that mean so much".

Convenient, fast, hotdogs and sandwiches. Cash-only and very fairly priced. The kind of joint you go to in between your lunch break. Very clean. Lots of toppings to your liking. Ample parking. Convenient location.

New York City pushcart style Sabrett hot dogs with mustard and onions. The best ! Mmmmmmm I feel like I'm back in New York. It's a great place with lots of character.

Coney Island Joe is a Godsend to the greater South Broward community. Located on a patch of green adjacent to the Florida's Turnpike overpass bridge, your boyhood days smile back at you. Delicious Sabrett? Nathan's? (whichever) kosher dogs paired with that all-too famous deep fried knish. You will soon forget about those twins you met at Whiskey Tango last night; since afterwards you can option out for the italian ices stand. All we're missing is a stoop, some stickball, buck buck and who can knock each other out first. When you're a kid from the vapid suburbs of Kendall, you need more than just a walk-through of this. And that nice ole lot in West Hollywood does just that. Met the man himself, talking to him is a depression cure

I eat at Joe's sometimes during my lunch break. This hot dog stand just brings me back to my roots in the city. My dad owned a grocery store in Hoboken N.J. When I was a kid I'd always eat the Sabrett hot dogs broiled. Joe is a great guy and his N.Y. accent takes you back to the city.

Had 2 dirty water dogs the other day from this place. Hot dogs are NYC quality they pop when you bite into them. I'll be coming back for more.

If you are not looking, you will surely miss Coney Island Joe's. It is right next door to the paintball park, directly right next door to the Seminole Casino office. Coney Island Joe has been here for as long as I can remember and I'm surprised to see the lack of reviews. This place is great and thinking about these delicious hot dogs is making my mouth water! The hot dogs here juicy, succulent and flavorful. He has a vast array of other items such as Pastrami, Knishes, and corned beef. I come here and usually wind up with a hot dog and a knish and a nice cold soda. You can never go wrong with that. I highly recommend you come here and stop by for an amazing hot dog! Cash only, though. No credit cards. Enjoy your weiner!

Strictly on pushcart style hot dogs only... Stopped by to this well interesting food road side stop called Coney Island Joe's. Elliot is slinging hot dogs, pastrami, corned beef, Kinish's with all your standard trimmings in an outdoor Tent with a few picnic tables laid out. Looks like he Nukes the Pastrami, & Corned beef and Kinish's while the pushcart style hot dogs are Sabretts with Skins "Casings". Mustard, relish, ketchup, chili, cheese, raw white onion, red onions In sauce all available for condiments. Had a couple with the Red onions and they were top shelf. Saw him dish out a couple of pastrami's on Italian Bread which he gets from Gino's in Hollywood on Johnson and he has a wide array of sodas etc including good old Doctor Browns and my personal favorite YOOHOO! Will try a couple more of his items next time as he has some mix and max specials etc as well as grilled hot dogs. As far as the pushcart style I'll definitely be back. My only knock off would be he could clean the place and truck up a bit. Its stainless steel and should not look so dingy & the garbage can behind the pushcart had a ld fashion fly strip with about 100 dead or dying flies landed on it... That alone could force me to stay away... Food wise though other than that I'm a fan!!!!

Bring me back home, love them water hot dogs out the cart no matter what people say. New Yorkers don't care. It is like they say "nothing like home food".

The food and owner Elliot are great. I had the meatball parm sub and it was really good!
