This review is strictly on customer service, since we didn't even have a chance to try the food. My husband and I wanted to take our little ones out for pizza while enjoying a nice bottle of wine. For the most part, small pizza places don't have much of a selection, but offer a charge of which is called a "CORK FEE". This fee allows the patron to bring their own closed bottle into the establishment, and have the server open the bottle, serve it, to enjoy alongside the cuisine. In other words, FREE money to the restaurant by simply providing a glass and the expense of washing it. 99% of restaurants offer a cork fee... Except for this one. Unfortunately, the owner is completely unaware outside his four walls, such a thing exists. He even recommended we try going to another place to see if we can get away with that. Well, we did and they made an extra $12 bucks off us, our kids enjoyed pizza. None the less we wish them well.

I gotta say that this restaurant is hidden in plain sight. I wish their sign outside was a lot larger. Their food is seriously good, and the customer service is excellent and friendly. I had the Chicken Parm, which I shared with my girlfriend because they serve a lot. They were even courteous enough to split the food for us before hand, and I gotta say that's excellent attention to detail. The sauce on the Chicken Parm was on point, and the breading used on the chicken was absolutely great. The linguini was al dente and it was the perfect texture. The garlic rolls are also delicious, along with the mozzerella sticks. Overall I can't recommend this place enough.

Friendly, clean, delicious! The pizza was perfect ! I had a slice of cheese and a dice of pepperoni the pepperoni wasn't the best because it was kind of greasy but that obviously is to be expected. The cheese was perfect. Crispy and not overloaded with cheese.

Wwwoowww i read all the reviews before coming to this restaurant, i have to tell you who ever gave then anything less than 4 stars are wrong. The service is super friendly, fast and they make you feel like your part of the family. Now for the best part the food, the pizza is fresh made, the sauce is light and with a fresh tomate taste. Yes yes the garlic rolls are from another planet wwoowww really good. The tiramisu is home made so there is nothing like it out there. The price is really good, a medium pizza, half a dozen garlic rolls and a tiramisu was under $20.00. If you like pizza friendly service great price this is your castle.

Nothing to rave about here. Don't get me wrong you should try them, the pizza is good but not great. If I had to chose between here and Ken n Mikes in Miami Lakes, I would go with Ken n Mikes. Ordered a Blanca with half shrimp half pepperoni. Cheese was good, had all the essentials in a Blanca. Just had one issue with this. The way the cheese was distributed just wasn't right. How can I explain this.....it tasted like they threw a layer of ricotta and then a layer of mozzarella on top, instead of mixing the two cheeses together and then adding it to the pizza, does that make sense? The result was, me biting into a slice of a glop of ricotta cheese. It was just too much. I will say this, the crust was awesome!! It was toasted and just the right flavor, salty and not too chewy. Texture was spot on! Ordered the wings and they were ok. Small size and good buffalo flavor, no big deal. Everything was just OK, would be back maybe if I was close by and wanted pizza. Next time I'll go with a regular cheese pizza.

I have passed by this place a million times. Decided to try it out after reading the reviews. Ordered the baked ziti and it was good. The garlic rolls are also very tasty. My girlfriend had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and they baked it for her. Both plates were tasty but not amongst the best I have had. The service was good and fast. I will be back in the future to sample more of the menu.

Ok............My first visit was nothing short of frustrating. Lesson learned..........Friday nights are a beast. But on subsequent trips, I've discovered that this thin sliced pizza puts ALL the franchise/commercial pizza places to shame. I love, love, love this pizza. I always order the deluxe pizza topped with cheese, onions and meat. It's also very satisfying and although I order a medium, it takes me three to four days to eat, as each slice is so savory and flavorful, more than two slices at a time would be gluttony!

It's been decided, every time I crave pizza I shall only come here. I'm rarely in the mood for pizza but I have been here over a handful of times. I fell in love with garlic on my pizza. If you are into garlic don't be scared to try it. I would give 5 stars but there's 1 thing that left me disappointed this past Thursday which I bragged to my 'worst half' about: the.. garlic.. bread! Why?! Usually it's most and feels like it's just been baked for you.. Thursday it was dry, unlike this weather, as if it's been sitting out all day and not much garlic. I still love the pizza and the customer service has always been welcoming whether in person or on the phone.

Definitely one of the best NY style pizzas I've had outside of New York. The crust is damn near perfect. Rolls are very good, too. Bonus points for unintentionally channeling the look of Sal's from "Do the Right Thing".

Where do I begin. I must say I am a bit partial to Salvatore's as I used to frequent a local place from my home town that had a very similar style cuisine. With that disclosure out the way I will say... Salvatore's is the best Italian food you can get in Miami for under $20/person. The portion sizes are generous and generally include a soup or salad and garlic rolls. Not too many places come with soup or salad and bread now a days at this price point. Now you might say well this corporate chain has this.... Salvatore sticks to an old style Italian cuisines that cant be bother with flair and pizazz. Its just good food at a good price. The pizza is great and not over priced. They use Grande Mozzarella cheese which is of high quality. I won't be surprised if the majority of the people here knocking their NY style pizza have never even set foot outside of South Florida. Try it for your self. The service is great as well. It is small so there service staff is usually the same and as such don't be surprised if they can remember your order the next time you come in. I'm going to keep it short as I have already compiled a long list of rambling however, TL:DR Their food is worth at least a 20 minute drive, if not 30.

After all of the reviews I've written, I just now realized I've never written about Salvatore's. First, I have been ordering delivery/eat in/take out from Salvatore's for 15 years. Pizza is very good. I would prefer a little more burnt, but my wife likes the normal bake. Pasta dishes and sandwiches are very good as well. This is true NY style pizza (or as close as you can get). I will ALWAYS order from them. Staff is very nice. I get called "honey" or "sweetie" like 25 times while placing a phone order. It makes me feel good. Oh! Don't forget the chocolate covered cannoli -- so fucking great!

This is my favorite pizzeria in all of Miami. Not only is the pizza great, the pasta dishes are amazing. And the service is top notch. I always get waitress Joanna, she is amazing, always has a smile and even remembers what I always order. It is truly a mom and pop shop. The sons work the phones and the register and their mother sometimes helps to wait tables, she is super sweet. My favorite pizzas are the cheese and the bianca pizza. Yum. And my favorite dishes are the fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms and the baked ziti. I used to live close by but I now leave on the other side of town and I still go there whenever I want a good authentic Italian meal. Simply the best.

I'm not really a fan of pizza hut or papa johns, but I do love pizza! I usually order around from different places finding the ones I like. Today I ordered from Salvatore's pizza and let me tell you it was amazing! Definitely ordering from Salvatore's from now on.

My wife and I order from these guys at least once a week. I have never once had anything wrong with my food. It's always fresh and always delicious. If you're looking for a great neighborhood pizza place, you found it.

This place is AMAZING! I live in Kendall and every time i'm in the area, it's a must that we stop in. The calzone is HUGE! I'm hooked! Pizza is pretty damn good too! Decently priced. Fast, good service.

If I would have only eaten the Chicken Parmesan and garlic rolls this would have undoubtedly been a 5 star review! I'm taking away one star because both the espresso machine wasn't working and me not being a fan of their clear minestrone. I'm a fan of the redder, marinara and heavy oregano minestrone. I appreciate the fact the owner did hear out my concerns! My three garlic rolls were slightly crispy, and with enough garlic to give a taste but not make me a fire breathing dragon afterwards :) Now back to that chicken parmesan; Freaking Awesome! Badaboom! Start with a lean chicken breast. Throw in a light breading with what tasted like an oregano base, basil around the plate and a bed of linguini - just under aldente - and a deliciously robust marinara sauce. That's what you call a delicioso chicken parm!

Typical independent pizzeria. Their pizza is better than chain pizzeria but nothing special. They have New York style thin pizza. Their ingredients are what you would find in any other independent pizzeria (not really the highest quality). Reasonably priced, large portions and usually busy which is always a good sign.

Pizza is really good and really big. One of the best pizza places in Miami. Pizza is my favorite food so I know a thing or two about it. Check this place out. It's a nice family owned place.

Got half Bianca (white) and half meat lovers pizza and they were delicious! The owners are here and are very pleasant. One of the best slices of pizza I've ever tasted at a decent price. We will be back :)

I come here often because its close to where I live. This place is okay I've only been here to sit down and eat once - the one time my family & I came and sat down I noticed the cups and silverware were both greasy (ewww) and from the moment forward we ordered our pizza to go! They are reasonably priced, but not that personable. Will return for the food not the customer service.

They're good. Real good. Mussels were DELISH. Garlic rolls are something you HAVE TO get!!!
(4)
Jerry R.
Not good. Pizza - flabby boring crust, sauce had no flavor, toppings tasted like they came from a can. Broccoli - completely bland, probably frozen, no seasoning. Salad - iceberg lettuce with brown spots, balsamic dressing tasted like straight cheap vinegar...terrible. Very weak and not at all worth the money.

As I have said plenty of times Groupon rocks. I love that I get to try out different places for BIG discounts. This particular Groupon was for a pizza dinner for two. It included a pizza pie, garlic bread, and drinks. I went with 3 people and they still gave us the offer AWESOME!!! The waitress was extremely nice and was very helpful since we had never been. I ordered half cheese and half mushroom on a pie. The cheese half was amazing but the mushroom side was meh.. I love mushrooms I was disappointed. If I am in the area I would probably stop by again for their cheese pizza and yummy garlic rolls.

Love their pizza! I've also had the chicken parm (dinner & sub) and they're equally yum! Love the baked ziti, with meat sauce though. We always get the oil & garlic on the side for the rolls though so we can control the amount. Sometimes it's a little too much. Overall this is one of our favorite local restaurants. The kids love it! The staff is beyond friendly and helpful.

This place serves as a pretty regular pizza go to spot. I really look forward to eating my manicotti with spinach and cheese here, as they make it so terribly well. Do NOT skip out on their garlic rolls. They generously pour olive oil over them and pepper them with large chunks of garlic. The pizza is equally incredible. It has an incredible crust and the sauce is very tasty. Even the house salad is fresh and enticing. Pricewise, this place is difficult to beat. They offer daily specials. The service? Naturally, unbeatable as well.

Decided to try out today, ordered a large pepperoni and garlic rolls. It's not worth 20 bucks. Pizza was very greasy didint like quality of ingredients much. One garlic roll was undercooked.

Flannigans or Pizza?? Decisions, Decisions, Decisions...Pizza it is! Salvatore is conveniently located next to Flannigans in Hialeah, if you do not feel like waiting 45 minutes in line for wings and beer head over to Salvatore and they have a Tv too so you won't miss the game! We decided to dine in, the waitress very nice came right over to our table with paper place mats and silverware, we took advantage of the Tuesday special, Large pizza for 8.99, along with some appetizers, cheese sticks and garlic bread. The cheese sticks were swinging of which is a great thing for me, bread was garlicky, and the pizza was just right with a bit of sweetness to the sauce. The place is homey my only complaint would be the seating, we definitely got to know the couple next to us without really wanting to. Now I remember why we used to skip school to eat here!

I've lived in the Miami Lakes/ Hialeah area for over 10 years and tonight was my first night trying Salvatore Pizzeria and it was Delicious!!! A great homey feel.. New York style pizza at a great cost. The garlic rolls are a must have...they're fluffy and drenched in garlic sauce. I'm definitely gonna be a regular at this place!

I have been coming here for several years and mostly Fridays. This place makes u feel like home, the owners who are always behind the counter are very friendly and attentive. But the most important is the quality of their food.... you don't have to go to an expensive italian place since you can get the same or better food here. This people can cook starting with their pizza is real New York quality. I have been to Little Italy in NYC and this pizza has nothing to envy. The owners are originally from there and used to have a restaurant there. I have tried most of their menu and never been dissappointed. My favorite dish is the pasta a la Francesca... it is amazing. Their cannolis are very good and their service is always good they are very friendly and always willing to please you. The only negative would be that it is a small place and it can get very easily packed. I love this place and can't wait for Friday to go again!!!!!

Many a day would I leave my high school for lunch craving salvatore's. their pastas are very good, one year they even won best homemade pasta from the new times (while their "best of" lists were still reputable). if you live in this area, or are starving and don't know where to go near by this place should def. be given some contention. it's not much to look at inside but at least everything is tasty.

Best Pizza in Miami. Fresh ingredients with real Italian cheese. Their other entrees are top notch as well. Many Italian dishes and awesome house salad.

Two words: Garlic Rolls. Freaking amazing. I think I gained 5lbs in one sitting. We ordered 2 medium pizzas. One cheese and one meat lovers. We also ordered a dozen of those garlic rolls that I read so much about from fellow Yelper's reviews. We ate AN ENTIRE DOZEN!! Yes, the whole damn thing! And I'm not apologizing. It was a feeding frenzy. I don't think we spoke to each other for about 10 minutes there. Our mouths were entirely too busy. The pizza arrived and we looked at each other...Where are we supposed to put THAT? Needless to say, we asked for boxes for the pizzas. We did try a slice of each just to try it. IMO, the pizza was good but not great. Nothing to write home about but it's a decent NY style pizza. So, we actually made a meal out of those amazing garlic rolls. They were soft and delicious on the inside and perfectly crusty on the outside. That garlic and olive oil dressing was heavenly. You know that moment? The one where you are eating something so so so bad for you but it just tastes so effin good that you just don't give a shit? To hell with your diet, to hell with counting calories, to hell with portion control! Throw caution to the wind and dig in!! There's no other way to enjoy these garlic rolls. There just isn't. I'm interested in trying out their pasta dishes as recommended by some other reviewers so I'll most definitely be back. I saw a patron walk in and order just a dozen garlic rolls. Nothing else. Gave me an idea. I'll definitely be picking up a dozen next time I plan on making pasta at home. What a great way to liven up a home cooked italian meal! If we ever get to the pasta after those rolls...

I like a place that goes out of it's way to earn your business. Salvatore's is that kind of place. Late at night I had just finished a job and was dirty and sweaty. To make matters worse it was raining pretty hard and I was soaked by the time I got to the door. I must have looked like a homeless guy. I arrived AT closing time. They were cleaning the place and I walked in (they must have forgotten to close the door) I asked if they could make a pie and the guy behind the counter said "sure thing". While everyone was closing up and taking off this guy prepped a piece of dough and baked a fresh hot pie for me 20 minutes past closing. I'm a customer for life. The place itself is small, bare bones and unassuming. I can only comment on the quality of their takeout food as I have never eaten in. This is, without a doubt, the best pizza for the money in Miami Lakes. Making a pizza isn't rocket science .... or is it? The NY style is as close as you are going to come this far south of NYC. The garlic rolls are very very good. The people who run this place are grateful for your business and that means something in this day and age. I have tried Pizza Scene, Ken and Mikes and Anthony's. Only Anthony's comes close and has an obviously better dining in experience (but they are much more expensive). **Please note that the link for Salvatore's above is wrong. It takes you to a place in NYC. I tried to register for online ordering and I was told : "are you sure, the closest location to you is 1300 miles away". **

I have been coming here for a while and I'm yet to order something that isn't spectacular. The friendly owners and staff are always a pleasure to be around. The prices are good and the food taste home cooked. Like momma used to make! I love the lobster ravioli and there baked ziti. If your in the neighborhood and want good Italian stop in here.
(5)
Maite H.
Convinient since it is close to home for a quick pizza and some yummy garlic knots.

Frodough B.
Be sure to try their lunch specials! Their baked ziti and lasagna are great. You must try their garlic breads. If you are not a fan of garlic, don't even bother. I will always remember when a dear friend of mine and I came here for lunch when the power was out in about 80% of Hialeah due to Hurricane Wilma. We were filthy, sweaty and hungry. Salvatore's was open and they even had the front doors wide open and some fans on. We had nice cold sodas and pizza and it was just perfect.

Best family restaurant in Hialeah! Great service and great food! They offer deliver, pick up and done in. I love that they remember my order!

This is the only pizza i get excited about in the whole city. If you like NYC style, thin crust pizza, this is the place to go. They have great prices and the pizza can't be beat. And yes, just like everyone else said, the garlic rolls are great too. A very casual, family orientated place and the owners are great!

Quality ingredients and great pizza. Epic garlic bread and pastas, and drinks are actually not a rip off.

Salvatore's Pizza is the BEST! Your experience will begin with a friendly greeting, whether by phone ar walk-in. Next you'll be surprised at how inexpensive the dishes are here...hmmm....could it be good at these prices??? YES! The portions are great and the service is prompt and friendly the whole time. My friends from NYC say that this compares very well to their pizza from back home. All I can say is that I can't find a better thin NY-style pizza anywhere in Miami. Salvatorre's has also catered many of my special events and EVERYONE was very pleased. The only thing that I'm not sure of, is "WHY AM I NOT HEADED THERE NOW?!" salvatoreinhialeah.com/m…

If I could come to Salvatore for only one thing it would be for the garlic rolls! How they manage to make them fluffy and crispy at the same time, I'll never know. I have always enjoyed their pizza. However, I did notice a difference in the sauce the last time I visited. It had that bitter taste you find at other places. My family would always order delivery, but since I don't live in the area anymore we decided to grab a bite there. The service wasn't great. So if you're planning on having some pizza from Salvatore - take out or delivery is the way to go.

When I lived in Miami, this was the place to go for pizza. We'd order take out, we'd come in, pizza, garlic rolls and pasta, oh my! I've never been anywhere where the quality of the food is more consistent than here, I've never found cause or reason to complain. Have the Pizza, don't skimp on the garlic rolls and try the pasta, you can't go wrong. It's a family restaurant and it shows on the pride they put in their food. Everyone is friendly, and they remember you by name. It's been a while since I've been to Miami and we're way overdue for a visit. We miss you Francesca!

Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Flanigan's. As sports bars go, Flanigan's is one of my favourites and I have a hard time letting go and eating somewhere else if Flanigan's is nearby. The one place that can pull me away from a Flanigan's in the same shopping center is Salvatore Pizza. I've been going to this place since I was a little kid. They have been around for decades, and for good reason. It's the truest, freshest New York-style pizza, pasta, and garlic rolls you'll find this far down south. Say what you will about it being in Hialeah. Everyone wants to hate, but this place is the real deal. Their pizza and rolls are out of this world, but I especially love the bruschetta here. You can't go wrong with the specials as the pasta and seafood are just as good as the pizza and roles. I've never ordered their calzone, but I have seen them, and they are almost overhwhelmingly huge (HUGE) in their size. I don't know if this place is run by a family, but I've seen the same faces there for a long time, and you can tell they do everything with a massive love for the food they serve and the clientele they've had coming in for years. At Salvatore, you feel like you're eating with family. An Italian family. Who know how to cook very, very well.

THE BEST PIZZA in the area!! They have great specials Monday and Tuesday. And when you want a real treat, order the deluxe! Baked ziti is a hit. Garlic rolls are delicious. And the people that run and work there are so nice and authentic. Must try, you won't regret it

I was at a friend's house one night helping her prep for her baby shower, and she ordered pizza from Salvatore for feeds. I had never had pizza from here before, despite it being so close to my house, and boy, was I missing out!!! Needless to say I dreamt about having Salvatore for an entire week and finally got my fix the next weekend. This is easily some of the best pizza in Hialeah. I kept it simple and just ordered a pepperoni pizza, but it was everything a classic pepperoni pizza should be. I also ordered mozzarella sticks, which were perfectly gooey and melty and came with a flavorful marinara sauce for dipping. The garlic rolls were also amazing! They are crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. I cannot wait to get back and try some more non-pizza dishes from Salvatore, although I'm always in the mood for pizza! The only annoying thing about Salvatore is that there is a Flanigan's next door so the parking lot gets super full especially in the evenings and during games.

David L.
My favorite pizza joint to go to in Hialeah! It doesn't get any better than this place, a true gem in the middle of Hialeah! The pizza is outstanding, and filled with so much flavor in an incredible thin sliced pizza. As soon as you walk inside the establishment, you're greeted instantaneously! The indoors feels like you're at a true pizzeria, it has the perfect feel. I usually go with the cheese or pepperoni pizza and it tastes just as amazing as the first time I ordered it! I also highly recommend the garlic rolls... they're to die for! The only bad thing is this spot does get really busy on weekend nights, but on average the wait time to put in an order is exceptionally fast! If you haven't tried Salvatore yet I highly recommend to try it out!

I have to say I came to this place very biased. Didn't like it, didn't want to go, didn't like the location, nothing. Being from Naples, FL, makes you think that you know everything about Italian food and pizza, but I was wrong. The interior makes you feel like if you were in a pizzeria where union workers from New Jersey come for lunch. The decoration is simple but is not boring. The service is very attentive and gives you the feeling that you are going to have a very casual meal, kinda like, Ok, I'll take your order and grandma in the kitchen will prepare it for you. What you are not going to expect is the level of deliciousness your food is going to have. Absolutely impressive!! The taste is spot on on everything. Nothing is over seasoned or over cooked. The sauces are going to make you lick your fingers ( if you use them as utensils ) and the pastas are going to keep you ordering more even when you are already full. I wouldn't say the pizza is particularly exceptional but is certainly tasty. If you are looking for a place to bring your girlfriend for dinner or lunch so she can take pictures for her Instagram posing as a foodie and impress her friends, this is not the place. Go somewhere else, pay more and pose for your pictures. If you feel like having delicious Italian food in relaxed casual environment until you actually can't open your mouth anymore, this is your place. The reason I gave the max to the place is because this is one of those places about food and just food. There is no bragging, no in your face, no servers trying badly to speak Italian, no, this is just a pizzeria in a very ugly plaza with extremely good food.
(5)
Grace S.
Modest and cheap! I've taken this place for granted. What a gem. The pizza, chicken parmesan, lasagna, and garlic rolls are all yummy. You can eat in or takeout. With takeout they're generous - adding extra rolls, salads or soup. I used to think the Flannigans next door was the place to be but it's been this little pizzeria all along.

Honestly the best pizza I've had in a while. And it feels so home made, I love it. I got a large pizza, half Hawaiian and half cheese. It was phenomenal!

Hialeah can throw it down- but this place makes the ground shake. Ok fine, my Dads name is Sal also but it wasn't ONLY because of that similar attribute that he only eats pizza from here. Those garlic rolls are something out of this planet. I do like their pizza but I prefer their pasta dishes. The Lasagna is way too good. It's like a super cheesy and saucy pasta pie covered in parm awaiting your fork. The entrees include a salad or soup. I'm not too into their salad, but the soup I like. Whatever you do, DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT THE CANOLLI! If you're stuffed, it's okay! This too shall pass! Take it go, and thank me later. It's the sauce that keeps me hooked. Whenever I come to Hialeah, and I want Italian... It's Sal's dude. Plus my dad gets a kick out of it.

I'm so happy to have found this place in Hialeah. I order lunch to my office almost weekly and have never had a meal that wasn't delicious. Even their subs are huge, always very fresh and like $6! The delivery is always fast and the guy is so nice! Rare that I would give causal dining a five but this place is the best.

Fantastic in every way. New York style pizza that can't be matched by anyone else in the area, but what's more is everything else on the menu is awesome as well. Great friendly staff and atmosphere, prototypical local pizza joint.

this is your neighbor little pizza joint!!! the owners are actually on site every day. when you feel like having a slice of pizza freshly made this is the place. and the garlic rolls...mama mia!!! for two people you would think 1/2 dozen would be enough, na...... these are nice fluffy tightly rolled up breads which sometimes if you get a nice batch, have a crispy top on it, drenched in their what i like to call heavenly garlic sauce!!! the pizza is a thin crust where a well seasoned tomato sauce as been swirled on and then topped with fresh ingredients you desire, mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, etc and then topped generously with mozzarella and placed in oven till melted and combined to for a delicious topping...... then you can prepare your palate for a canoli....... a nice pastry cylinder filled with a creamy cheese mixture with small chocolate chips inside.... and best of all, if you do not want pizza by all means enjoy one of their delicious sandwiches..........and if you are into American idol....hey you can catch a star rising and enjoy a good bite all at once on their TVs...

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza was too soggy Not enough sauce Green peppers were pale Waiter was cool and loved that garlic bread

(4)Maria G.
Ordered a pizza yesterday while I watched the Women's Soccer Game. The pizza was excellent as usual.
(5)Gigi G.
(4)Bill C.

(5)Felix M.
(5)Bryan L.
Super good slice. NY style. Cheese + Pepperoni was quality.
(5)Ian O.
(5)Daniel L.
This place has THE best New York style pizza and garlic rolls! I highly recommend the large "meats". Definitely my new spot for pizza and Italian food.
(5)Stephanie J.
I'm not really a fan of pizza hut or papa johns, but I do love pizza! I usually order around from different places finding the ones I like. Today I ordered from Salvatore's pizza and let me tell you it was amazing! Definitely ordering from Salvatore's from now on.
(5)David H.
My wife and I order from these guys at least once a week. I have never once had anything wrong with my food. It's always fresh and always delicious. If you're looking for a great neighborhood pizza place, you found it.
(5)Amie B.
This place is AMAZING! I live in Kendall and every time i'm in the area, it's a must that we stop in. The calzone is HUGE! I'm hooked! Pizza is pretty damn good too! Decently priced. Fast, good service.
(5)Sergio F.
(4)Ricky C.
Typical independent pizzeria. Their pizza is better than chain pizzeria but nothing special. They have New York style thin pizza. Their ingredients are what you would find in any other independent pizzeria (not really the highest quality). Reasonably priced, large portions and usually busy which is always a good sign.
(4)Forrest M.
Pizza is really good and really big. One of the best pizza places in Miami. Pizza is my favorite food so I know a thing or two about it. Check this place out. It's a nice family owned place.
(4)Jessie R.
Got half Bianca (white) and half meat lovers pizza and they were delicious! The owners are here and are very pleasant. One of the best slices of pizza I've ever tasted at a decent price. We will be back :)
(5)Nicole S.
(4)Monica M.
They're good. Real good. Mussels were DELISH. Garlic rolls are something you HAVE TO get!!!
(4)Jerry R.

(4)Evelyn F.
(5)Miryam H.
(5)Albert P.
Decided to try out today, ordered a large pepperoni and garlic rolls. It's not worth 20 bucks. Pizza was very greasy didint like quality of ingredients much. One garlic roll was undercooked.
(2)Evelyn D.
(4)Cindy B.
(3)francine s.
This is my favorite pizza in Miami. PERIOD.
(5)Carlos M.
(5)cristina o.
(4)Jesus D.
Best Pizza in Miami. Fresh ingredients with real Italian cheese. Their other entrees are top notch as well. Many Italian dishes and awesome house salad.
(5)Mandy L.

(5)Priscilla H.
(5)Maite H.
Convinient since it is close to home for a quick pizza and some yummy garlic knots.
(4)Frodough B.
(5)Laura M.
Best family restaurant in Hialeah! Great service and great food! They offer deliver, pick up and done in. I love that they remember my order!
(5)Christine T.
This is the only pizza i get excited about in the whole city. If you like NYC style, thin crust pizza, this is the place to go. They have great prices and the pizza can't be beat. And yes, just like everyone else said, the garlic rolls are great too. A very casual, family orientated place and the owners are great!
(5)John S.
Quality ingredients and great pizza. Epic garlic bread and pastas, and drinks are actually not a rip off.
(5)Leo B.
(5)Elizabeth M.
(3)Luis A.
(5)Abel I.
(5)Evelyn M.
THE BEST PIZZA in the area!! They have great specials Monday and Tuesday. And when you want a real treat, order the deluxe! Baked ziti is a hit. Garlic rolls are delicious. And the people that run and work there are so nice and authentic. Must try, you won't regret it
(5)Kara P.
(5)David L.
(5)Jasan A.
(5)Grace S.
(5)Melissa C.
Honestly the best pizza I've had in a while. And it feels so home made, I love it. I got a large pizza, half Hawaiian and half cheese. It was phenomenal!
(5)Lucy G.
I love their pizza, their garlic bread, their staff, everything! I just love this place!
(5)Alexa C.
(5)Bibi R.
Used to be a domenicos regular .but once I tried Salvatores I never went back To domenicos this is by far the best pizza in Hialeah/Miami lakes.
(5)Cassandra M.
(5)Tim L.
Fantastic in every way. New York style pizza that can't be matched by anyone else in the area, but what's more is everything else on the menu is awesome as well. Great friendly staff and atmosphere, prototypical local pizza joint.
(5)Placido V.
Fantastic place, great food and family atmosphere. Best pizza you can have anywhere!
(5)Giovany R.

this is your neighbor little pizza joint!!! the owners are actually on site every day. when you feel like having a slice of pizza freshly made this is the place. and the garlic rolls...mama mia!!! for two people you would think 1/2 dozen would be enough, na...... these are nice fluffy tightly rolled up breads which sometimes if you get a nice batch, have a crispy top on it, drenched in their what i like to call heavenly garlic sauce!!! the pizza is a thin crust where a well seasoned tomato sauce as been swirled on and then topped with fresh ingredients you desire, mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, etc and then topped generously with mozzarella and placed in oven till melted and combined to for a delicious topping...... then you can prepare your palate for a canoli....... a nice pastry cylinder filled with a creamy cheese mixture with small chocolate chips inside.... and best of all, if you do not want pizza by all means enjoy one of their delicious sandwiches..........and if you are into American idol....hey you can catch a star rising and enjoy a good bite all at once on their TVs...
