It ha been years since we were at Rico Pan, the outside is the old look but the interior has a fresh look. One of the employees has been there for at least 8 years. Food took a bit to get to the table and we were the only group in the restaurant, it was well worth the wait. Service is very good! our waitress was really nice. As appetizer I had Morzillas which are so GOOD!!!, entrees we ordered mondongo, mojarra, sancocho and of course bandeja paisa. Food was good. It gets 4 stars because the restroom needs major improvements, there is no baby changing tables and toilets are missing the lid.

When I am craving Colombian food I don't think twice this our place to eat excellent and delicious authentic Colombian food. The service is good when is not to busy but in the rush hours no the best but always with the food I forget about that. The ribs soup you need to go early because they run out fast with this dish because they made it everyday. The tamal is so delicious inside come with chicken and pork. Really something that I enjoy to eat. And ask for the refajo. This drink is made it with two beers and a soft drink called it Colombiana. We recommend this place 100%.

I was in search of authentic Colombian food so I dropped into Rico Pan. I ordered a bandeja paisa which is a typical Colombian dish. The portions are plentiful so come on an empty stomach. The fried plantains are a little different from the Cuban style plantains that are usually more ripe and burnt on the edges. However being Cuban I have a penchant for Cuban style cooking - my opinions on fried plantains are therefore biased. Nonetheless, everything fried to me tastes great, you will enjoy the plantains and everything else on the plate. The babdeja also comes with a fried egg served on a bed of rice accompanied with meats. The pork belly was scrumptious and juicy. The steaks are always cooked "well done" for this type of plate so it will inevitably be a little drier but also crispier and seared on the outside. My GF satiated her sweet tooth by ordering a sweet arepa with cheese, this was savory and probably the best thing we tried on the table. She also ordered a mango milkshake, which I honestly wouldn't go out of your way to order. There was a review on here about the place being "dirty" which I would like to address. I did not get this vibe at all. The utensils and plates were clean, the service was very attentive and fast. I have no complaints, definitely a place I would consider coming back to and try other common Colombian dishes and cuisine.

This restaurant is about the dirtiest and nastiest Colombian restaurant I've ever had the displeasure of eating at. Their plates are so old and made of some sort of plastic in which you can see every knife mark made by the previous client. The chairs are uncomfortable and have these horribly hilarious "cow" theme to them. I'm not even sure how to describe this place.... My mother ordered a soup of the day... Aside from being cold, it was the worst mistake ever.... In the soup, she fished out a PIECE OF PLASTIC AND A STAPLE!! I didn't know plastic and staples are what's served typically in Colombia. I have no idea what shitty "pueblo" of Colombia people commenting in the reviews are from when they state "this restaurant gives you the atmosphere of an authentic Colombian restaurant" because this restaurant is a piece of crap. This place is nasty as hell, second to the doghouse next door. If you're a cheap person & hygiene isn't one of your priorities ... Well, this place might be the best thing ever for you! Come give Rico Pan your business and appreciation.

I cant even comment on the food which was mostly good because the service was awful. Rude, nasty and mean staff that seems like theyre working against their will. Skip this place.

Worse service I have ever had. I had initially gone in because I had a restaurant.com coupon and wanted to use it. After I looked at the menu I mentioned it to the lady who was going to take my order and she said they weren't accepting any coupons. I let them know that they should remove themselves from the website and proceeded to order off the lunch specials. After my food takes a pretty Long time and I'm ready to pay she adds 5 dollars to each meal. I let her know the menu said a different price and she told me on Fridays they don't do specials. What I don't understand is why doesn't the menu state these things? She then proceeds to ask apparently the manager or someone if they can take my coupon and the manager said no because it was for 25 dollars which was too much for them to accept. The service was so bad at the restaurant that when I left my blood was boiling. After I get home I look into my bag and they forgot to add my order of beans and side. I didn't even bother going back and arguing with these lunatics. I don't recommend anyone to ever go here the service is the absolute worst.

The restaurant gives you the atmosphere of a Colombian bakery/restaurant very very typical. The food is good, no complaints, I've tried their appetizers and they are very delicious, Empanadas is the most common, I tried their breakfast menu with calentado (rice and beans) and grilled steak! very good. From a Colombian place I will believe their coffee will be a signature, unfortunately the restaurant doesn't offer a a flavorful cup of coffee, not a great presentation about it since they gave it to me in a Styrofoam cup. They also offer catering service so you can pay in advance for a weeks worth of food and you will pick it up daily if you don't want to cook, I find that very convenient but I live far.

Rico Pan is the local neighborhood Colombian restaurant that sells all things Colombian. While I'm not Colombian, I hear from my friends and family who are that their dishes are very traditional in the way they are prepared and the way they taste. It's one of my brother's favorite places to go, so we stopped in while he was in town this week. He ordered "la bandeja paisa" which is a very popular Colombian dish and includes rice, beans, a fried egg, sausage, avocado ... wait, there's more .... arepa, plantains and pork "chicharron." Whew! That's a whole lotta food for 1 dish. I feel like my arteries just got clogged... lol. This is definitely not for the weak at heart. But my brother totally enjoyed it.

One of my favorite colombian restaurants in the area! This place has been around since I could remember and the quality of good is still the same. Better than ever ! I always come here when I'm in the mood for a delicious colombian meal, el sancocho is my favorite meal. The portions are large and for a good price :)
