Are they the absolute best Cuban Pizza out there? No, they are not. However, it's pretty darn good and authentic with many of the unusual Cuban toppings one loves, i.e., platanos maduros for one. You got the fourth star for delivering (call for delivery times) and being open late. It's not just pizza, they have daily specials as well as other menu items to choose from. Last but not least, one can not ignore their quite extensive array of ice creams and toppings. If you're in the area, you will not be disappointed. It's quite large on the inside with room for large groups. #KeepItLocal

Delicious food at a low price. They are best known for their pizza and ice cream but honestly almost everything on their menu is very good. Mejores helados, buenisima comida latina, excellent atencion, y muy Buenos precios para el area de Hialeah.

Recently, I spent a looooong day working nearby and decided to walk over to Polo Norte for lunch. We ordered 4 personal pizzas and a half dozen garlic rolls. I'm really not a fan of "cuban pizza", but I decided to order mine a little extra cubany (trust me that's a word) and added sweet plantains as a topping. The garlic rolls came out first - nothing fancy, but pretty darn good! Once the pizza arrived, I have to say, mine looked really appetizing and it was. I finished 3/4 of it and gave the rest to someone else who also enjoyed it. I've never thought to put maduros on a pizza until then... not a bad idea! Everyone else was happy with their orders as well. I'll definitely be back again some time for that pizza. Almost forgot! Later, we walked back over for the ice cream. That was also very good. We were able to sample the flavors before buying.

This restaurant is good to eat in for ice cream. However the steaks are not good, so keep away from them and also the waitress takes about an hour to get your food.

This is the only Cuban place that is up to par with my Abuela's cooking. If you come with a big party, be prepared to wait. It does get full on nights and weekends so keep that in mind if you decide to dine with them. They offer take out and delivery which is a great alternative to waiting at the restaurant for a table. The food is exceptional and the prices are more than fair. You can never go wrong with the pizza here! I would also recommend the churrasco if you're very hungry, you'll get a big piece of meat for a great price. If you're a cheese fan, try the crema de queso and experience true deliciousness. Their menu has so much variety that there is something for everyone, including kids. The best part is that the food comes out fairly quickly, even when the place is full. Why four stars and not five? Sometimes the service can be lacking. I don't know how many times I've come with friends and family and the waitress forgets to bring someone's drink. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some good, authentic and cheap Cuban food.

Been visiting this location for YEARS when im in Hialeah. Their chicken sandwich is phenomenal. Deliciously seasoned chicken breast on Cuban bread (ask for american cheese!) And mantecado ice cream to finish off an amazingly delicious and reasonably priced meal.... A hidden gem. Trying next the cuban pizza and cuban spaghetti. Everything that comes from the kitchen looks great! Service could be a bit better....call your order in and if its less than $10 have cash!

The service was terrible. Our waitress came over completely flustered and didn't even greet us right away. After ordering my father noticed a bug in his water. He didn't make a big fuss, and he even pointed out that maybe it flew in. The waitress took the water away but never bothered to bring a replacement. Two of us got our food, but not my two children, their food came out 10 minutes after mine, and I had to ask my 1 yr old and 6 yr old to patiently wait for their meals. My father ordered an ice cream and found a piece of metal in his ice cream. The waitress shrugged and said it must be from the bowls, offered a replacement ice cream but that was it. After two issues the bill came at full price, even after some of stopped eating after the two issues. No apologies, nothing! Needless to say I won't be back again. Bonus: drunk guy came and told my father he was the most handsome man in the restaurant... Classy people lol

If you are looking for Cuban favorites like ropa vieja, masas de puerco, bistec empanizado, croquetas, etc., the way your mom and grandma used to make, then Polo Norte restaurant is the place for you. They only use the freshest ingredients and give huge portions with enough left over to take home. The pizza and ice cream is excellent as well!! Great prices too! If you are near Hialeah then you must try Polo Norte Restaurant on West 29st location.

Picadillo with maduros pizza is awesome! This is thick crust pan pizza, which I normally do not like. However, this is an exeption. The taste is very good and the cheese on the edges is a bit burned (crispy), which I like. Their guava ice cream shake (suero) is the best we've had! They also have a good cream of cheese soup. The prices are good also. Service is okay, but I go for the good and different pizza.

Fun place to bring your family, but a lot of people agree, so get ready for the wait. Servings are huge, food is good, plantains are made well, and the staff was friendly. Once we were seated, service was quick and patient with newbies to their menu.

This place is spectacular sadly I can only give them three out of five star due to their terrible service. The waitresses aren't very helpful and sometimes, flat out rude. God forbid you need a drink refill, you'll pass out before they even think to refill your drink. Besides that, their pastas and pizzas are fantastic, anytime you want good old fashion Cuban ice cream come here their sundaes are well worth the wait. Try the Pico Turquino with Caramelo and Mantecado you'll be thanking me later!

I will never return here even though the food is OK. I refuse to give my business to these servers. They made a mistake on my order and when I (very nicely) asked them to correct it, they looked and spoke to me as if I had wronged THEM! Before I even asked them to fix my order it took about 5 minutes of me standing by the counter (where there were about 5 servers around at all times) and no one even looking at me. I had to finally say "Excuse meee" to get them to acknowledge my presence. There are way too many good Cuban restaurants in Hialeah for anyone to put up with their horrible service.

My cousins and I were really hungry one day. We were looking for places and we found this place called Polo Norte. I wasn't expecting much. I ordered a churrasco with white rice and French fries. I was really impressed with their work. Excellent service and amazing food is what I got from Polo Norte. I will definitely return to this amazing restaurant. On a scale from one to ten Polo Norte definitely deserves and 11.

Yeah this place is alright. I used to go to Filer and it was a usual for me. Forgot all about until one morning I woke up with a craving for their icecream. They have the BEST rum-raisin icecream ever. Only 1.50 for a cup and you get a few toppings. Their pizza is good. Not great, nothing to brag about. They have daily cuban-style specials. Those are pretty good too. Ohh and they deliver, pretty useful service...Although I do get VERY VERY annoyed they have a $10.00 minimum. Bullsh&8%

BY FAR THE BEST CUBAN PIZZA !!!!!! and I have tried many cuban pizzas throughout south florida including reys, montes de oca, etc and NOBODY comes close. They have two locations, but the one on 29st taste MUCH BETTER including the garlic rolls (wierd because you think the taste would be the same....but its NOT). Oh and the ice cream is pretty good too (need to improve the taste quality and freshness of the pound cake and the flan, but besides that its good).

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
