This Mickey D almost gets 5 stars from the Dessert Snob! It's centrally located off 826 just east of Miami Lakes and has an ample parking lot as part of a strip shopping center. It's also about a 10 minute drive from my office. Besides I gotta agree with the list name Chris C put it on: You gotta eat somewhere! Food is standard McDonalds fare, but at least my fries weren't overly greasy and my grilled club chicken sandwich was hot and they remembered my mayo optout. Customer service seems to be nicer than other Mickey Ds in that when I ordered the two strawberry pies the cashier said to let her know if she put the apple one (boxes look the same) and she'll swap it out. They also gave me my new craving of the sweet chili dipping sauce. I do have to dock a star for the bathroom as it looks like it's on their to-be-remodeled list. The wall paneling is still the offwhite old mcdonalds paneling, and one of the stalls was locked and out of order. The Wi-fi signal could also use a stronger router. Still, it's a fairly decent Mickey D to munch at. I know I'll be stopping by again.

We have lived in Miami Lakes over 6 years. This McDonalds is near our home and we are frequent visitors. In the past six years I have never ENJOYED visiting. Every visit has left me with a poor customer experience. If its not the long line at the drive-thru, its the person taking the order over the intercom who does not get the order correctly or is speaking to someone else inside, giving us the wrong order, the fries container is half empty, burgers are not hot enough or the "Managers" screaming at their employees. I rarely go inside but when I do I experience the same situations. The employees at the register are in another world. They prefer to have side conversations and not give the 100% WOW factor. Tonight, I was a witness to managerial abuse. I was waiting inside for my order to be taken, and the manager (named Rina) was screaming at one of the employees about punching in too late or not helping (she was screaming and talking so much, I couldn't understand). The employee told her "Ok, fine I will not do it again" and he walked away. This manager continued to talk loudly and said very clearly- "you are just lazy". She spoke in Spanish. At this point I felt humiliated for the employee. I was upset that anyone would tolerate that treatment. No employees defended, no customers spoke up. Its a disgrace. I immediately asked if she was the manager and what her name was. I told her she should be ashamed of herself for treating ANY employee this way. Lack of professionalism. Its a shame we live in a world where we see abuse in all forms. The first thought was, this could be me, or my children, or a friend. How can no one stand up for this maltreatment? It will not end here. I will be contacting corporate for her lack of professionalism, disrespectfulness and for her absence of an apology. She walked away. That was a clear example of: Incompetent Manager skills. For anyone who is reading this....FYI: There is another McDonalds around the block and please stand up for those employees who are abused.

I thought this was meant to be FAST FOOD? I was in line for 20 minutes yesterday. I probably should have headed to the Burger King just across the way, I may have ended up waiting less. The service was friendly, but they really need to speed things up. By the way, half of my value fries container was empty, which was a disappointment. I could maybe understand if it were a quarter empty, but it was HALF EMPTY! The coke had an odd flavor too, I thought it was just me, but even my daughter agreed when she tasted it. It was as if they mixed it with some other soft drink, giving it some funky flavor. For her to turn down a sugary drink, considering she's a kid and all kids love sweet things, it HAS to be unpleasant. She will even drink warm coke!

This summer I was heading out on my route at 6am, which didn't give me much time for breakfast. So, I ending up grabbing something from this McDonald's a couple times a week, for a few weeks. The best fast food breakfast I have ever had. The hash browns were always hot, crispy and never had that stale oily grease taste some do. The biscuits were warm and soft. They had eggs, that actually tasted like eggs. And finally their OJ was actually cold. Yes, it's still a McDonald's, so we aren't talking a world class breakfast, but on the run you wouldn't find much better than this.
