I just went to a beautiful wedding reception here this past weekend. The bar and restaurant was beautiful. I loved the little chandeliers over the tables! Very chic! The food was excellent...I had the churassco steak with chimichurri which was delicious, it didn't stay on my plate for very long. The whipped potatoes so fluffy! Loved them! I hope to get another chance to go back again!

As previous reviews said it is hard to find. BUT AMAZING. We had Avery bad experience at another restaurant (Billy's stone crab) and the locals seem very gruff! I was smiling and saying hi to everyone I pass on the street and literally every one of them just stared at me. Kerry's was amazing. Food was good prices were good and service was amazing! We had two small kids 3yrs and 1 everywhere we went seemed annoyed that we were there for a meal. Not at Kerry's! All of the staff greeted us and I mean all of them. Even the other guests were waving and having fun. This was the most enjoyable part of our trip to Hollywood florida!!!!!! You will have trouble finding it but don't give up! It is great! Live music on Weekends was fun. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a very good meal and just all around fun. I hope this place never changes.

Dear fellow yelpers, You really let me down here, got to be honest. This place was just terrible. Firstly it was tucked into some condo which is fine but it took us forever to find it since the only entrance we could find was for cars. Our waitress said it was her first day - ok that's fine, and she could barely speak English - ok we can figure it out, but she put our orders in all wrong - now theres a problem. Our appetizer and salads came out (and correct) pretty quickly, it was the entrees that were off. There was no one else in the restaurant which was a little surprising but now understood, I guess that should have been a big red flag. I would definitely not recommend this place.

I had an amazing dinner this past Friday with friends. We were a group of 15 that went to Kerry By The Sea for its special Latin Night. They made a Suckling Pig a la Caja China and brought out larger than life cocktails for all of us to share at the table. The pig was elegantly presented to us prior to being plated by the amazing staff. The pig was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth with every bite. Friends who had the Seafood Paella equally raved about it. To top it off they had a Latin singer named Jazmin who brought the house down singing Latin Hits and Shaking up the stage. We stayed until they closed. SO MUCH FUN. . Worth the trip from Miami. Will go back for sure.

We have been putting off going to Kerry's because the clientele seemed older but we tried it the other night and loved it. The view is spectacular! We went early because we skipped lunch which gave us a variety of menu choices. We opted for choices from the sunset menu which offered the best deals. This menu is prix fixe entrees with a choice of soup or salad and dessert included. Most priced under $20 .....crazy reasonable for the quality of the food. I ordered grouper franchese which was cooked just right....light and flaky and seasoned perfectly. My boyfriend had the braised lamb shank which was amazing! It was rich and robust and melt in your mouth. We took leftovers home including the key lime pie which we ate later and were not impressed by. Over all, I highly recommend Kerry's. The new chef owner Tony is committed to making this one of the best restaurants in this highly competitive market.

I ran across Kerry's By The Sea in a local free paper and saw that it was oceanfront and served lobster and had to try it. It is located in the Hemispheres condo development in Hallendale Beach. We came in on a Tuesday night with no reservation. My first impression with the very polite valet was nice, and the obviously newly redone interior of the fairly large restaurant looked and felt upscale. The views from the main dining room are full ocean and gorgeous! The service was extremely professional and polite. I did not feel rushed at all, and that's my biggest pet peeve. Our cocktails were STRONG. I don't think my Sapphire tonic had anything but gin in it but one melted ice cube, and my date's Goose and soda was the same. No problem there! This is all very white table cloth and classy boozing lol. Anyway, the escargot appetizer was good. Lots of "double snails". My twin lobster special - two whole (1 1/4 lb) coldwater lobsters boiled and served with baked potato and salad for $24.99??!! Yes. And it was delicious! My partner had the garlic shrimp and raved about it. So in a nutshell: beautiful restaurant with large oceanfront outdoor terrace, great seafood, a heavy handed bartender, and low prices? My new favorite place! Our server also informed me there is live music Friday & Saturday nights.

First off... this place is like finding a needle in a hay stack, BUT once you find it you'll come back for more. I had to order an extra of the lobster bisque. To take home. This place is beautiful and sits by the beach. Great food and great people with a live stage and music performers.

This was quite a surprise. I've been to the Hemispheres once before for a show that a family friend manages and the show was kinda cheesy, so after reading all the reviews I was expecting low quality all around and I was really pleasantly surprised. We were here for my mother's 73rd Bday this past weekend on a whim because the previously planned location's entertainment canceled. This was a last minute decision. And it was the best decision. The manager, staff and everyone was just great. Very accommodating. You know in Hallandale (or Miami) Beach you are dealing with a bunch of demanding, pushy people. They have got their customer service skills on par! We came in, put our balloons up, sat and ordered a cocktail, waited for the rest of our party to arrive and the entertainment was setting up. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but it was very entertaining! I ordered the rainbow trout, it was very good. My mother had a chicken dish, it was very good, we ordered another pasta entree to share around the table, it was very good. My husband's lamb chops were overdone. My sister in law's filet was overdone. When you have meat, pricey meat (because those were some of the highest priced items on the menu) - they ought to be perfect. And they were not. That's unfortunate and the reason for my 4 stars. Really should be a 3 star for the food rating but everything else was just so much fun and everyone had a wonderful time......it deserves 4 stars.

Went with my grandma who lives in The Hemispheres. The food excellent, the service was great, and there was a Frank Sinatra cover singer! If you're in the area I highly recommend you check it out!!

Bad cooking. The worst steaks i have ever have, disgusting meat with nasty smell. Too noisy, i want able to relax. Bad serving. The only decent thing was french fries. Doesn't worth wasted money.

I went to Kerry's last night with a group of seventeen girls. The service and food was above average. Our Waitress was efficient and very polite, considering she served our whole table herself, but did not smile once. The only thing I didn't like about the meal was the baked potato wrapped in foil, making the skin very soft and soggy. I will certainly recommend this restaurant to my friends, and I plan to return soon.

Last Saturday night, we celebrated my aunt's 100th Birthday at Kerry's and it was wonderful. Although we did not have a separate room, tables for 35 guests were set up at the side of the restaurant. The room is beautiful so no decorations were required and the restaurant has a water view.. Guests had a choice of prime rib, fish or chicken - all of which were very tasty. They also provided the cake. I'm sure other choices are available as the owner was very accommodating. The restaurant provides entertainment- there was a group singing 50 and 60's songs which were a hit and everybody got up to dance and sing. We were lucky enough to be there the night when two of the originals Tune Weavers that had the 1957 hit " Have a Happy Happy Birthday". At their table they wrote and sang an original song just for Aunt Molly based on their hit. My aunt was thrilled. All the guests had a great time and can't stop talking about it. There was not much planning as the restaurant had everything under control. Everybody is looking forward to Molly's 105th Birthday!!! You don't have to wait for a party - It is worth going not just for the food but for the entertainment -

Its a beautiful place, however the drinks at the bar are not good. Unless you like to drink pure vodka in a martini glass. The fish sandwiches are really good but the dinner food is average nothing to remember and a little pricey for what you get. Whenever I try to go there they are closed.
