Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This is such a good Mexican restaurant! We had a large party that was easily accommodated by the restaurant. Everyone raved about their selections, which were varied across the menu. The total bill was very surprising - in a good way! We will be going back many times!

Guac is totes worth it mexican, just like indy best mex i've had here... but honestly, i haven't had that much mexican. my hubby got the veggie burrito--which looked really amazing stuffed with all the veggies they could find. I got the pork tamale dinner plate, and it was pretty good. A little dry, but the chips and salsa were awesome, service was fast, and they had a plethora of hot sauces. This is exactly what I expect in a mexican restaurant.

Don't be fooled by the simple exterior- this place is worth the stop! Everything in this place is bright and clean. The staff is young, personable, and efficient. All of us were thrilled with our menu choices- every one fresh and delicious. The servings were generous and the prices more than fair. If you are nearby or passing through (like we were)... Be sure to stop!

This place improves each time I eat there but the guacamole is Getting a bit tasteless and even watery ...I hope it's just a temporary thing because the rest of the food is so so sooooo good. I especially love the free salsa and don't seem to be able to get enuff of it!

Service and prices were great! Portions were generous. Spices and flavor were not what I expected from a Mexican style restaurant, left me wanting.

The food here is very good- best eating in Groveland (which doesn't say a whole lot). Ordering take-out can be a hassle but it's worth it. My whole family loves the Super Coyote Burritos! They're the best thing on the menu!

My wife and I ate there on October 11, 2014. I had two Mexican-style tacos. These are normally not on the menu, but they were able to make them. The pork in the pork taco was dried out and fatty. The other was pretty good, a sliced steak taco. Not great. Pretty good. This restaurant had a limited selection of types of meat available. Why that is I don't really understand. After all, even food trucks can usually crank out delicious tacos in a variety of meat styles. Inexpensively. Getting it right every time. The salsa was unlike any Mexican salsa I have ever had. And that's probably for a reason. That was the red salsa. The green salsa had little taste. Although it was "hotter." They had no bottled salsa. Which I would've switched to if available. For one dollar extra I received a small bowl of sliced pickled jalapeno peppers. It tasted like they came from a can. Why restaurants don't pickle their own jalapenos is a mystery to me. They can be so good. It is incredibly easy and fast to do. They really don't cost anything. And you can use them in a variety of dishes. My wife had a large burrito covered in a cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was light. Light in terms of color, flavor, and consistency. She seemed to like it okay. While at the restaurant, be sure to review on Wikipedia the checkered history of Groveland. It's quite interesting and disturbing. We won't be back. If I could give it a 2.5 stars, I would. Because I think the four star rating that was there when I came was undeserved, I am going low. The chips were the best part of the meal. They have beer and wine. The beer was good. The service was good. After writing my review, I went back and looked at some of the others. I sense there's some puffery. Take a look.

I have no idea why I haven't eaten here sooner, but I will be back. I asked in and was surprised. I had no idea the place was so big. Nice decorated and clean. All the staff was friendly, accommodating and speedy. We never had an empty dish on our table. Food was outstanding, fresh, served hot and with a smile. The restaurant was full of happy guest's and felt like you were at home. I will be going back, frequently.

Came here with my wife on a Saturday afternoon. Complimentary chips and salsa served first , ask for the green salsa if you prefer spicy. I ordered the jalapeño poppers they were fresh made and tasty however they are hot when served so give them a few to cool Wife had seafood enchiladas with refried beans and rice she said it was good but thought the rice was spicy and she doesn't prefer spicy. I had the Super Coyote Burrito (steak) and it was very good as well. Overall good experience , staff very friendly and we will be back

Love this place! I always get the Vista Del Mar and it is amazing. Seasoned fish, shrimp, chicken with veggies and guacamole. So good. The boys usually get the super coyote burrito with steak and it is yummy as well. Staff is always super friendly and accommodating. We live in Orlando and we make a point to visit this place all the way in Groveland. Couldn't think of a more perfect place to celebrate Cinco De Mayo! ( I will try and remember pix before digging in next time)

Food was excellent. We drove here from the Mission Inn - we were surprised at how spacious it was. Staff is very friendly, portions very generous and they shredded chicken was delicious. It's very basic and authentic. Warm Chips and salsa hit the table as soon as you walk in. Loved the salsa. I had a chicken burrito with veggies hold the cheese. My hubby had chicken enchiladas - cleaned his plate. Great price point too - lunch for $7 pp. can't beat that
