This place is now called the Eagle. I remember when I came here a few months ago for a karaoke night, which was a lot of fun. When I came here last night, I met the hubby and bullshitted with the owner while we were there. The screwdriver with 7-up was spiked well.

Nothing fancy but mussels were good. Big and juicy. We arrived at 6 and by 6:30 the place was packed. Will make reservation for next time to be safe. Can't wait to take the family here.

Never had a meal that I didn't love! Casual place with good food. Crab cakes really are the best in south Florida. Ribs are delicious. Other fish and burgers and steak are really good. During season the crowds are large so call ahead to check out the wait.

Split an order of the crab cakes with my wife. They are, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. Place was packed as usual, we forego the call ahead and sat at the bar. I had very good French onion soup and we each had a small side salad. Prompt courteous service, attentive bar staff and waitress makes this one of our favorite spots.

Just finished the best crab cakes south of Baltimore. Would also give Bobby Chez a run for the money. Very, very good. Great service...a little cramped in the booth, but well worth it. Came with 2 sides (roasted potatoes and broccoli. Started with clam chowder, also very tasty.

The Eagle Grille is everything a local seafood joint should be. The clam chowder is some of the best I have tasted. The crab cakes are to die for! Always a great selection of shell fish. I have personally cleaned up over a dozen dozen oysters in all the times I have gone. They are fresh and sweet. I love the gulf variety myself. I have tried most items on the menu and my favorite dinner is the Snapper Meunière. But the gumbo is excellent. Also love the crispy fish. Can be super busy with the early birds. I recommend going later and sitting at the bar. The staff is terrific and the bartenders know how to serve up your favorite cocktail. I can definitively recommend The Eagle Grille.

Went several weeks ago and the placed was packed and we chose not to wait. We went back again yesterday and again the place was packed but we were prepared to wait. Rib Night Special. Food was great. We also ordered the crab cakes which were fantastic. Going back Tuesday night for the Crab Cake special which makes them more affordable thus more delicious. I am in the service business and must say that the hostesses were outstanding! Excellent customer focus despite the hectic pace.

Went with friends, they made the reservation (a must). It was on Tuesday evening (Crab cake special nite), so my wife had the crab cakes and I ordered the lobster roll (15.00). Both were fabulous. If you like crab cakes, it is Hard to beat them here for the price. I have read a number of reviews that were negative about the service. Ours was great. Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful. Will be going back soon and recommending this place to my friends.

Ate there and was treated very rudely. Asked for the manager and the same thing took place. It may be known for good food. But with so many other restaurants available why would you bother? Never again.

Best crab cakes! Cherrystones like if you were in New England! We are turning into repeat customers. Happy hour every day from 2-7pm. 1/2 price steamers. Heard the chops were incredible. We will try that and the gumbo next time.

My lunch group stopped going to eagle about a year ago. We were regulars, ordered bar drinks and are generous tippers 20-25 percent. The atmosphere is grungy, needs overhaul renovation, and wait staff and bartenders need attitude adjustment. Too bad since food and prices were good.

Restaurant is not the nicest to look at inside but the food is absolutely fantastic! No matter what you order, the food is always fresh and fast! The cost is incredibly reasonable and the specials make this a go to everyday of the week. Oh, and ask for Chris, he's the best waiter here by a long shot - Very attentive and fast A+++!!!!

Do not bother going to this restaurant as the food is mediocre at best and the service and management are rude and arrogant . BTW if they decide to add 18 percent gratuity to your bill because the service and food were bad they do this to insure they get what they don't deserve . $ 30 dollar crab cakes that's the biggest joke as this quickly becomes 100 dollar dinner for two at a dimly lit crowded and noisy dump . Stay away

Who would have thought that you needed to go all the way out West for amazing seafood.... Living within walking distance to the beach I would have never expected to find a great seafood spot in Greenacres. After hearing from a friends mom that this place was a must try I went out with the boys to the west side of Lake Worth in search of this well known dive bar. Being 7:30ish on a Wednesday night (and the place was packed) I was shocked that we were the only people under 50 at this restaurant. Don't let that scare you away! Our waitress greeted us right away and was very helpful and knowledgeable about the large menu. It took us a while to order since everything on the menu looked great but we started off with some seasonal beer, middle neck clams and the jerk chicken wings. Clams were shucked perfectly and very fresh and the wings were GREAT. I love wings and pretty much try them everywhere. These were perfectly coated with sauce and had just the right amount of crunch. Not soggy at all. For dinner we ordered the seafood combo, rib special and the open faced roast beef sandwich. Seafood combo was HUGE! Everyone loved the shrimp but my personal favorite was the fried oysters. Wish I had some leftovers right now :( The rib special was $10.99 for a full rack and one side. They had just the right amount of bbq sauce and were falling off the bone. I didn't try the roast beef sammy but I did enjoy the bowl of gravy on the side. I could eat it with a spoon it was that good. I was stuffed and in a fried food coma but I got peer pressured into ordering dessert. That's the down fall with always being the only girl. Fat kid problems..... I had the brownie sunde and although I was stuffed I managed to polish off my bowl. The whipped cream was the best part. So fluffy and creamy. Guys ordered the cheese cake and the peanut butter dessert with a side of ice cream. All were delish but the peanut butter cake was the best. They have great daily specials and a whole separate $9.99 menu. I will definitely be back and am dying to try the famous crab cakes.

We've been here a couple of times. They seem to have recently updated the menu, definitely for the better. My lobster roll was the best I've ever had outside of New England, and my husband loved his seafood platter other than the fried oysters which were just ok. We had excellent service and really appreciated our server Taylor's suggestions on what to order - he was spot on, and very friendly and personable too. Highly recommend this place - we're looking forward to going back.

My wife and I meet friends at Eagle Grill on most Tuesday nights, which is the Crab Cake Special night. Some of the excellent menu offerings frequently ordered by our group are: Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes (like those served in Baltimore), Bahamian Conch Chowder, French Onion Soup, New England Clam Chowder, Fried Shrimp and Clam Strips, Fried Oysters, Baby Back Ribs, Mussels, Chicken Breast or Sirloin Steak Fajitas, Shrimp Po Boys, Cheeseburgers, and Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches. Eagle Grill has reasonable prices, and there are specials every night: Monday, Steak; Tuesday, Crab Cakes; Wednesday, Ribs; Thursday, Oysters; Friday, Surf & Turf; Saturday, Martinies; and Sunday, Snow Crab. The servers are friendly, accommodating, and efficient

The manager at this place is a total jerk, rude and obnoxious. The food was good, but would never go back or recommend this restaurant to anyone. There were ten of us. We tried to make reservations one night, but were told they had a table, but we would have to vacate it within one hour for the next reservation. So we made reservations for the next night and waited for over 30'minutes for those people to vacate our table. We missed the happy hour and our golf group was totally disgusted with the way we were treated. Forget this place, there are too many good neighbor restaurants with much nice staff.

We went with friends twice. The 1st time all seemed fine. The crab cakes are delicious. The 2nd time however, ALL was different. The service was so slow and it was not crowded. We were 6 people. Two people in our party ordered the pork chop. We were surprised to see it undercooked and, brought to the table cold. We called the young man who was the manager to the table. He had a very negative attitude. Our friends exchanged their dishes for something else but, with the slow service, there was a wait. At the end of the meal the gratuity was added to the bill ( not usually done with a party of 6). The next day, our friend went to speak to the owner. His response was unacceptable, "we'll try harder next time." He made no effort to entice us to come back-- bad management. After reading some of the other reviews, ( especially the one about roaches)... We will not be returning to Eagle Grill.

Good prices, food and service. The hostess is very friendly and warm. It's casual but a little nicer-looking than when it was McKenna's (though the other McKenna's locations were always fine). You can't go wrong with the crabcakes, seafood platter or burger. I like that there are plenty of options for sides and always specials. Nice happy hour, too. I recommend going for lunch because it gets a bit busy at night, even during the week. However, there is no lunch menu on the weekends.

Stopped in on a Friday night in January with four people - 15 minute wait for a table. Just long enough to get a drink from the bar. Shared a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake as an appetizer. Delicious! Big chunks of crab and not breaded and fried like many other places. Can order two as an entree. Four entrees: Snapper Meunière - tough and dry. May have been overcooked. Grilled Ahi Tuna Steak - requested it rare/lightly grilled - it was overdone and a little dry. Snapper and Artichoke hearts - fabulous. Snapper was tender and flaky. Artichoke and tomato topping added great flavor. Cajun Happiness - cream sauce has some kick but my daughter still added hot sauce. Lots of shrimp and sausage. Chicken was breaded and fried - which tasted a little odd with the pasta. Would order again if the chicken could be grilled instead. Oysters were $2 a piece - we passed on those. Two of us had chowder - one conch and one clam. Both were tasty. Our server was great. Quick and attentive.

Went here with my parents. Food was average, and very pricey. The place is packed though. The hostess did a good job accommodating our large party. I had the crab cakes which were CRABcakes. Lots of crabs and very little filler. They were delish - but two small ones was $26. High for strip mall seafood. Others in my group tried various items including chicken, fish, salads and apps. All were middle-of-the-pack. Nothing to run you off but nothing that will draw me towards it anytime soon.

Man oh man, what a find! We quickly became regulars during our month's vacation in Florida. We have never ever had better crab cakes. And the raw bar clams and oysters were always fresh and beautifully shucked, which is harder than it sounds. Peter is the charming owner and he is a great guy to chat with. He has elevated the kitchen to producing fine quality food at very reasonable prices. Melissa is behind the bar and quickly knows what your preferences are. The place is spacious with many different areas in which to sit. Plus, you can play this great interactive game called Trivia Buzztime while you eat and drink. Too much fun! If only they'd open a branch in NYC. PS, check the website, above, for weekly specials.
