Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

After checking my previous reviews I realized that I had not yet reviewed Nino's, one of my favorite local restaurants. We returned the other night and, realized that it was certainly not "in season". During season you can not just walk in and get a table here; be prepared to wait. Off-season-no problem. We break for here who had not been to Ninos before and they are now fans as we are. The food here is consistently good. I especially like the huge servings of chicken parm . I am told that the veal Parmesan is equally as good. It is interesting that you can get some of the best root beer I have it anywhere here. My wife had a scrumptious seafood platter and one of our guests had another chicken dish that was equally raved about. Don't like the location, in a strip shopping center, stop you from visiting. Be prepared to take a doggy bag home.

Once again yelp never fails me. I came to Bonita Springs for Labor day weekend and came down with a terrible cold good thing this was a relaxing vacation not an action packed one! But on Sunday night we wanted to eat something delicious but we wanted to stay in our room! After searching on yelp and I picked this place and I was not disappointed at all! Ordering was a breeze the young lady that helped me was really friendly and helped us by giving us pointers. We ordered the stuffed shells and the penne a la vodka. Both of the sauces were delicious! The vodka sauce was creamy and it had actual mushrooms and onions and peas. I loved it! I wish i would have snapped a picture because the portions were huge. We only ordered two dishes but it was plenty for all of us. Each dish brought your choice of a soup or salad and garlic knots. We ordered one of each. Everything was delicious! The only reason that I gave this place a 4 instead of a 5 is because we found it under the section the said delivery and when we said delivery they actually don't deliver to the resorts but it was fine take out was ready when we got there. Also they forgot to add silverware in our take out order, but since we were at the resort silverware was easily accesible to us.

I am not really sure what all the fuss is about. I went here for lunch the other day and I have to say, well... there isn't much to talk about. Nino's is really just your generic Italian-American place. The food was just ok, the garlic knots really really greasy and oily. I got a meatball sub, and it tasted like every other generic meatball sub I have ever had. The food the others I was with ordered all pretty much looked the same, fried, greasy, and just unappitizing. I certainly would not go back here though.

Can't ever go wrong with Ninos! Always good food, every time. Warm cozy relaxing atmosphere! After a stressful morning, lunch here calmed me down & I didn't even have a drink! Haha

The food is fresh and is authentic. We've been going there the past 10 or 15 years. Solid. This is not a franchise. The pizza is real. The Stromboli rocks. The special dishes taste as if made at home. Well done!

Ordered Sicilian style delux 5 toppings pizza. Sauce didn't have much flavor n not much topping, very scarce. He thought it was great. Friendly service.

I have nothing negative to say. This was my first time at this restaurant, i will return. Service and dinners we had were very good.

We have been going to Ninos for the past 15 years, without a doubt this is the BEST Italian restaurant In all of Florida and I have been to many of them all over the state. I would put them I. The top three from Chicago also.prices are very reasonable. Wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, also can't say enough about Sabrina she is the best!

Good food - terrible service. We had a reservation. When we arrived they said it would be about 5 minutes. We were seated 25 minutes later while other people just walked in without a reservation and were seated. Once seated, the waitress did not appear to take drink or dinner orders for another half hour and it took another half hour to get our pizza. A little over 2 hours later, we left. We had brought a birthday cake to serve to the kids (Nino's said we could bring it in). The two year old and five year old were too tired by that time and missed the cake when we went home. Terrible experience. We will not return. In addition, there was not enough room between tables and everyone kept bumping into me and my chair even though I had my chair pulled completely to the table (I'm a really small person).

Came here for lunch, will definitely be back. I ordered the stromboli for one, and could barely make it through half of the massive turnover that was presented to me. It was delicious -- I'd ordered extra cheese, sausage, and mushrooms, and the balance of ingredients was perfect (super-gooey cheese, enough spicy sausage to cut through it, and earthy mushrooms under it all). My wife's fettucini alfredo with chicken and broccoli was tasty, with a nice, creamy sauce. A little sauce-heavy, but nothing wrong. And the garlic knots! Oh, delicious. Herby, garlicky, on a warm yeast roll. Yum. Total for lunch, including a Coke? $23, before tip. Great value.

Delicious food. LOVED the Marinara sauce. Huge portions & great prices. The garlic knots are amazing. Good service. Overall hugely impressed & will definitely eat here again if we are in the area. (Only complaint is that the bathroom was out of t.p.)

Friendly service. Great food. Great atmosphere. Awesome large portion sizes with plenty to take home. Delivery service is good. Some dishes are a little pricey, but I think it's because of the portion sizes.

Great place! Awesome food and the waiters are very nice! Definitely going back! The quality and taste of the food it's worth the price...really authentic!!!!

Absolutely delicious lobster ravioli!!! I'd say the salad was sub par, and the garlic rolls didn't seem fresh - still good though - otherwise five stars!

We were so excited to try out this restaurant. Finding a good italian restaurant that knows how to make the marinara sauce like New Jersey and New York area is tough. But no more we love this place! Service was great and they made you feel at home. Next I will try their pizza and let you know. Nancy http://Http://MissionOrganizing.com

A true Italian restaurant both in food and service! Excellent prices with big portions, Everyone is extremely nice and they make you feel like your at the little neighborhood restaurant back home. The food has that true New York/Northeast flavor, the only place in Southwest Florida where I have found this. Highly recommended!!

Everything was great. We had the garlic rolls and the salad. Then for our entree we had chicken florentine with pasta. The small sharing charge was worth it - there is enough to share. The chicken was tender and delicious. The tiramisu was a nice desert. Would do it again anytime.

Love their food ,, Good portions too ! Best pizza my opinion, in town Thank-you Nino's

Possibly the best Lasagna I've ever had and the garlic rolls, OMG. Only reason I'm holding back a star is because when eating a large heavy piece of lasagna, I'd like something like a small vinegary salad to break up the heaviness. Only option was a $6 salad. Wish they offered an add on side salad. Ordered a different side item but it never arrived and was told at end of meal (when waitress finally checked on us) they were out. Don't think this is the norm for them though.

Small Italian restaurant with wonderful food. Try the garlic knots, they are delicious. The place was pretty crowded, but service was pretty good when we went and the waitress kept checking on us.

Love this place! They even recently expanded and added a full bar. I am a fan of the garlic knots and the chicken park.
(5)Tania G.
Pizza was ok toppings were extremely scarce not worth the money. Won't be getting the pizza anymore..too bad because its close by.

AWESOME!!! Super good food. Very very good i just can't say that enough. Huge portions!!! The bread knots i wish i could get the recipe they were just to die for. Very good service too!
(5)Henry H.
Small restaurant with your typical italian restaurant decor. Service was a bit slow but the food made up for it. The thin crust pizza is very good. Coming from an ex-New Yawk-ah) who is very particular about his pizza. The pasta was also very good.

Always delicious food!

Nino's is a family style Italian restaurant located in a strip center...down from an Ace Hardware Store. Ownership recently completed an expansion, adding a bar and additional seating. It's a popular place because of large portions at low prices. The food is average quality, and the atmosphere minimal. On each of our recent two visits the service was very slow...taking in excess of 40 minutes from order to delivery. Also they made mistakes on each order. We'll try this place another time, and hopefully they will have the problems worked out in the kitchen (probably the result of the expansion).

This place gets 3 stars merely on the food and the atmosphere. Been here twice now, and it was for their delicious stromboli. Can't remember if they serve alcohol or not. I'm not sure if it's the location or something else, but its been DEAD both times I have been here. Service here is meh. I would have liked more attention at the table, seeing as one waitress should be able to handle 3 tables no problem.
