Fresh and authentic food, the flavors are always great and the food is always delicious!!! Is my favorite place to go anytime!

Out of this world!!!!! Kabab village is my new addiction. Chicken and Kufta Lamb outstanding with their garlic sauce. Hummus and falafels equally fabulous. Vegetarians will find plenty of choices on this menu". Entire staff is wonderful and you will find reasons to be near their restaurant just to stop in for a meal . You will not be disappointed.
(5)Paige S.
Tried this place after reading good reviews and was very disappointed. Service was horrible - only 10 people at most there and took 20 minutes to get our drinks, food was average but they ran out of lamb which is why we went there in the first place. After waiting for our bill for over 15 minutes we paid at the front to be mysteriously charged an additional $2.99 for a mystery item we never ordered and was charged an additional &1 for the wrong meal. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are other Mediterranean restaurants near by worth trying. Prices also seemed high for what you got.

Good food...too pricey!!! Beverages highly overpriced!!!
(3)Christopher M.
I highly recommend this resturaunt. In an area dominated by fast food and chain resturaunts it is a pleasure to find this treasure. I had the mixed grill and it was great.
(5)Megan M.
Amazing food, better people. I ate here after our first choice was closed, and it was such a happy accident! We ordered a labna sandwich and chicken kabob platter and split them - the sandwich was good with crisp veggies and the kabob was awesome! Well spiced, perfectly cooked, and juicy. The decor is upscale for a walk-up order at the counter joint, you can tell they have taken a lot of pride with higher end tile work. It was also impeccably clean. we were greeted when we first came in and everyone was very friendly and attentive. They obviously cared that we were well taken care of and enjoyed our meal. I'll definitely be back!
(5)David G.
Welcome addition to FTM. Lamb shawarma, hummus and the rest of the usual suspects are quite good.looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.
(4)Alexandra A.
Wow, the food is spectacular. Fort Myers really did need a good Mediterranean restaurant. We will definitely come back for more!!!!
(5)Foo D.
A very welcome addition to Fort Myers. Very flavorful cuisine done by folks who know how to make it. Something to please just about everyone: Beautiful marinated Shawarma & Kabobs; extensive vegetarian options as well. Recently opened, but I've eaten there a number of times. Seems like they are still working out the mechanics of the kitchen and it can take longer to get your food than you'd expect. But, you can also tell they put the attention to the food you'd expect from a larger sit-down establishment. Highly recommended!
(4)Rick H.
This is the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had. I had the lamb kufta kabobs which were amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you're not familiar with the cuisine. The smell of the place will make you even nore hungry. I've been here two nights in a row. I only wish we had this place back home.
(5)Paige W.
Made our trip worth it! Friendly staff, great food and awesome hookahs. You could tell the owner is highly respected in the community.

Came across Kabab Village because were looking for a place to eat at 9:45pm and pulled into Mel's Diner across the street. Saw it across 41 and our car full of 8 family members gathered in Ft Myers for the Holiday had mixed reactions to abandoning Mel's. All of us were thankful that we did. The owner welcomed us as if we were entering his home for a meal in the old world style. When he told us he had lentil soup it felt like winning the first hand at the blackjack table and just feeling like it was going to be a lucky night. With 4 vegetarians and 4 meat eaters we couldn't have asked for a better place. Another carload of our family leaving their movie joined us at 10:15. Between the chicken shawarma for the meat eaters and the hummus, stuffed grape leaves, felafel, Greek salad and baba ghanoush all with a large serving of the perfect pita, we couldn't have asked for better. Delicious smooth cinnamon dessert finished with a perfect mint tea, and we could have been in Marrakesh and not known the difference. What a find in Ft Myers!
(5)Karl H.
Unfortunately I was unable to have the highly reviewed food because after waiting for an hour the owner explained something happened in the kitchen and there was no indication if the food would be done anytime. I hope to head back another day because despite the poor service everything looked amazing.

The only place in Fort Myers to get great Authentic Middle Eastern food. Only open about 10 months now and wish I had found it sooner. We say outdoors by the hookah bar and even though this is a paper plate casual joint the service was very attentive and the place is clean. Be sure to chat with the owner, he is eager to make you happy and explain the menu items. He also runs some good offers and freebies of of FB. There is a wide variety of meat and vegetarian items and he accommodates gluten free requests with a smile . The babganoush is some of the best I have ever had, topped with a few black olive slices and drizzled with olive oil & served with warm pita. Its had just enough charred smokey taste without overwhelming and zero bitterness. The homemade falafel were crunchy on the outside and perfectly soft and had the seasoned green taste I look for with a good tahini dipping sauce- My stepson got the falafel sandwich and said it was amazing - and the kids eats practically nothing. We shared the lamb kofta which are 2 well seasoned seared ground lamb skewers ( makes my mouth water just thinking of them) over rice pilaf filled with almond, pine nuts and all kinds of secret goodies...Really delish. Be sure to ask for the homemade hot sauce, nice kick and very unique...will have to get the recipe on my next trip.

I am bewildered by all the 5-star reviews. I really wanted to like this place, but it failed on numerous levels. Let me count the ways. 1) The employees apparent have no idea what they're serving. I asked what was in the kufta kabab. They said lamb. I said what about beef? They said yes, that's it. Since this isn't my first foray into Mediterranean food, I asked about pine nuts. They said yes. I told them I can't eat pine nuts, so I ordered something else. Well, everything I ordered was covered in pine nuts. I had them remake one of the dishes, but I still got sick. I think there were ground pine nuts in something, too. 2) The portions are lousy. For the prices I paid, I would expect more food. 3) This place has the ambiance of a McDonald's. Bright lights, cramped seating and immovable tables. Not a deal breaker, but this is not fine dining. 4) Your food is served on disposable plates and silverware. Not only is this not commensurate with the cost of the dishes, but it's very environmentally unfriendly. 5) Everything else aside, the food really wasn't good. The hummus was all right, but the falafel and chicken shawarma were not. You couldn't pay me to eat here again.
(1)Lori W.
Schwarma (sp) is super tasty. Not what I am used to, but delicious. Everything I have tried is very good. Really liked the hummus and tabuli I had on another visit. Great Mediterranean restaurant on 41!
(5)Shari T.
Coming from the NYC/NJ area where we had a ton of ethnic food options, I didn't expect to find the best Mediterranean food I've had since I was in Israel right here in FL! Food is authentic, you can tell everything is fresh and made from scratch. The owner Amjad makes sure to come out and talk to you and tell you about his restaurant, which was nice. And he told us they will be putting in an outdoor hookah lounge very soon as well! I had the falafel platter and my fiance had the lamb shawarma platter. The babaganoush and hummus were my favorite. Food is light and portion sizes are great. It is definitely a lot of food, but you don't leave feeling stuffed and sick afterwards. We really have no complaints at all. Just a heads up though, this is not a sit down and be served type of restaurant...you order at the counter and can choose your own table.. It's great for lunch or a casual dinner. Like I said, everything literally tasted like the same food I had while traveling throughout Israel. Will definitely be returning to Kabab Village!
(5)Steven K.
The best Mediterranean food we've ever had. The food was better than the food I had on Benyahuda street in Jerusalem. The hummus was so flavorful. We stopped in here while vacationing (from FL East coast) and it was very late at night. They were actually closing/closed when we came in, but the gentleman behind the counter was happy to make something for us anyway. We did not expect anything so awesome considering they were "closed" already - but we ended up getting the BEST meal EVER. SO friendly, clean, professional, excellent customer service - and again, truly outstanding Mediterranean food. And all at a time when we would have honestly expected so much less considering their long day was over, and I'm sure they just wanted to go home! We will definitely return here every time we are in the area, which is relatively often. So happy we discovered this place. It's very special. THANK YOU!
(5)Valerie O.
At last! great authentic Middle Eastern food in SW Florida! A much needed addition to local cuisine options, newly opened Kabab Village will satisfy your cravings and desires for something good, tasty and healthy. Mid-East and Mediterranean favorites like Lamb & Chicken Shwarma, Gyros, Kababs, Hummus, Stuffed Grape Leaves, and much more, along with wonderfully decadent traditional desserts. The portions are generous and the prices are good! Our hosts Amjad and Samer were gracious and welcoming and we will be sure to eat there every time we return to the area. Kabab Village fills the need for truly authentic Middle Eastern food that is so lacking in the area. Thank you Kabab Village...everything was wonderful.
(5)Celsie S.
Very authentic! The chicken Schwarma and the grape leaf meal was very good! The service was good also, the owner is very nice! I would definitely go back. Nice little hole in the wall!
(4)Tom S.
Loved the food, music and service. The guys were very nice and seemed like old friends after 10 minutes. The excellent food made it a great all-around experience. We didn't have to wait very long for our food either, and our chef personally made sure everything was perfect. It was! Thanks guys, I hope you have great success!
(5)Stephen H.
The only place to eat lunch when in Ft.Myers. By far the best around!!!
(5)C P.
Delicious food, best in the area, authentic great lamb, Greek salad and even the fries so fresh! try the desserts :-) yummy!
(5)Cat H.
The best place for falafel!! We split a delicious falafel sandwich with falafel made entirely from scratch, enjoyed really tasty tabbouleh served with olives with an excellent olive oil drizzled over it, and a Greek yogurt (labna) sandwich that I loved... Highly recommended!!
(5)NiKki T.
I had lunch here today and again the food was excellent. All made fresh on site. I had the vegetarian delight which was delicious. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is always nice and clean and they have a wonderful outdoor seating area too. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!
(5)Mark K.
Simply one of the areas best new restaurants of the past year. I've been back at least a half dozen times over the past few months. Everything I've had here has been great. The shwarma wraps, kebabs, and the mixed platters... You name it. Owner and staff is super friendly. I just wish they'd add some Turkish items to the menu like an Iskender kebab and Lehmacun. Oh, it's also REALLY affordable, fresh and healthy.
(4)Malika V.
I have had really good middle eastern food and I must say that I was impressed! It was great. Definitely hit the spot.
(5)Abbey G.
The falafel at this place is SO GOOD. They also have some of the best hummus I've ever had.
(5)Janis V.
Absolutely delicious! We ordered the trio grilled, kibbeh, hummus, babaganoush. and tabbouleh. No complaints whatsoever. Love the fact they add their own touch to the recipes and the service is very friendly. Will definitely go back.
(5)Danish R.
Best place to get Kebab platters or Shawarma Sandwiches around FortMyers and CapeCoral area. Friendly staff and fast service with reasonable pice.
(5)Deb D.
Delish tabbouleh $7.99 (small serving for that price) and good lamb schwarma. Healthy options galore! Great place for tasty food.
(4)Rick H.
Food was very expensive and served on plastic plates and forks ,, the chicken shawarma was not good at all
(2)Amer Z.
It's the right place to try one of the best Mediterranean food like kebab and falafel I'm simply love it
(5)Craig D.
Food is a bit pricey for the portion size. It's authentic tasting which might excite real foodies. Service is very good and the help is nice.
(3)Amanda S.
Wow was the food good and authentic! This isn't your greasy gyro place... This is amazing food cooked with pride by very nice and hardworking people. The owner has big plans to add a patio and hopes people will hang out, have fun, and enjoy the amazing food. Can't wait. I had the lamb plate. AMAZING. the hummus was to die for. The meat was so juicy and the spices that were in it made it taste even that much better. The side salad of fresh onion and tomatoes was a perfect compliment.
(5)Samuel O.
Was in the Ft. Myers area for work and found this place thru Yelp.I tried the lamb kabab with basmati rice. The rice was prepared similar to what I get from a couple of Lebanese restaurants I go to in Vegas, the only difference was they add sliced almonds to the mix. I liked it a lot! The kabab was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Glad I decided to try the place. Give it a shot if you're ever in the Ft. Myers area.
(4)Rishi B.
Kabab Village is OUTSTANDING- truly a hidden gem in Fort Myers. Don't let the look of the building from the outside or seating area inside fool you, just take a smell from what's cooking in the kitchen! All of the food is incredibly fresh, and only the best seasonings are used. My mother lived in the Middle East for years, so I've had my share of a Middle Eastern food, and this is the best I've ever eaten! I highly recommend the chicken kabab, grape leaves, and tabbouleh. The coffee and tea they make are out of this world, too! Amjad (the man who runs the restaurant) and his staff are wonderful people who make you feel like family when you walk in. It's a great atmosphere with music that fits the setting. And you will be VERY satisfied with your meal. I can't wait until the next time I get to go back!
(5)Sydney P.
Extremely tasty Middle Eastern food. I always get the vegetarian platter -- which is enough to split between two people. The platter comes with hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouli, falafel, and more. The pita that comes with the platter and many other dishes is the best pita I've ever tasted. The atmosphere is very casual. It's counter service. Still, the staff is very attentive and friendly. You'll feel well taken care of. On a cooler evening, try the outdoor seating and maybe even the hookah if you're feeling adventurous.
(5)Tim P.
This place is very informal. You order at the counter, and receive your food on styrofoam with plastic utensils. I ordered the mixed kebab, which consisted of beef, chicken and lamb. The meat was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Everything was tender and very fresh. The meal also came with a spiced rice under the kebabs, hummus with pita and a tomato and cucumber salad. The only downside here is that you are paying the price of a full service restaurant, but if you're just in it for the food you won't be disappointed. 5 stars for the food. 1 star for having to pay the price of a full service restaurant, while eating off of styrofoam.
(3)Kaysee D.
Delicious!! I got the Chicken Shawarma and the garlic sauce on it was simply divine. Very authentic, I overheard the waitstaff saying they get all of their spices sent over from Palestine. Seemed to me like a family business, and everyone working there was very friendly. Great selection on food, especially if you have some vegetarian friends! My mom got the same thing as me and we both had a bit of an upset stomach afterward, but I know I have a very sensitive stomach, not sure what exactly caused it. I would definitely still go back though.
(4)Aly C.
Amazing! My husband and I went for my birthday with our 3 month old and had such an amazing experience. It wasn't just dinner. The owner came and talked to us all about the culture. We even smoked the hukka which was fabulous. Neither my husband or I smoke but this was actually fresh apple with mint and it was delicious, I wanted to take it home. The food is so fresh and healthy. Yummy!! Can't wait to go back. Again this was more than dinner, it was an experience!
(5)Jackie G.
Great friendly atmosphere. Casual dining. Food looks fantastic. Chicken and lamb on the rottisserie..everyone is happy with meal. Traditional music playing. You walk up to counter. Place order. Pay in advance and have a seat. They will bring it out to you freshly prepared. Owner said they will be opening an outdoor seating area soon. You can see its being worked on on this visit. Soon soon. Unfortunately it wont be ready while Im here. Easy to find right off Tamiami trail (US Hwy 4) Parking out front, on side and in rear. Prices are competitive but keep in mind this is the real deal far as authentic tasting food. Yum! You can find the in FB to get information on events, specials etc..even a free bday meal. Awesomeness in my book!
(5)Laura H.
We shared a platter of beef, lamb, and chicken over delicious rice with hummus, pita and tabouhleh. All very delicious. The owner gave us the recommendation of the hibiscus tea, also delightful. We enjoyed our meal very much although a bit pricey for such a casual place.
(5)Tim F.
The hummus is fresh, with chunks of beans mixed in. The bread is lightly grilled with Olive oil and is sprinkled with herbs. Excellent and affordable appetizer. We got a chicken schwarma and a lamb one. Both were filling, tasty and moist. The chicken had a lot of garlic. Delicious! I ordered a coke zero and it came in the smallest bottle imaginable. Maybe they are telling me I drink too much soda. Excellent place. Don't miss it if you are looking for Middle Eastern food!
(5)Karen A.
Delicious and very authentic! Amjad Kasem and his whole crew take pride in their food and it shows. We've been twice and both times the lamb, chicken, rice, hummus and pita bread were excellent. Three of us had the hibiscus tea and loved it. Two of us have had the Turkish coffee. If they were open for breakfast and we didn't live 20 miles away that would be my husband's daily coffee - and we have a $3000 Jura Capresso machine! It is on the expensive side but you can either leave very, very full or take some home- there is plenty for 2 meals. I easily could have shared my dinner with my youngest (12) and we both would have been well fed. Even if you've never had Middle Eastern food- go! We have no Middle Eastern ancestry at all and all of us love this restaurant.
(5)Sofia D.
Ok, so I just ate the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had. It will be a hard one to beat. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Yes, that is 2 amazings in one week here in Fort Myers. There might not be too many things to do in these neck of the woods, but I have found some really impressive places to eat, and this place is one of them. This place looks like a fast food place from the outside and inside, but the food taste like it belongs in a upscale restaurant. Let me just add, that it's not greasy joint. The owner keeps the place meticulously clean and it's very nicely updated and decorated inside. Nicely painted walls, granite tabletops, clean updated tile. I had the Falafel platter which came with a side of hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouleh and a side of Pita bread. Everything was Fresh and Seasoned deliciously. I was pleasantly surprised to see Pomegranate in the tabouleh. Nice! I loved the look of the whole garbanzo beans on top of the hummus, and black olives on the baba ghanoush . Everything was so well presented. It shows that they take pride in their food.. If it was ever unclear to u as to what Authentic Middle Eastern food is really supposed to taste like... Come here, this is your place. Can't wait to see what else they have to offer. My only complaint, and I hate to bring it up because the food was so great is about the prices. They're a bit up there, but not compared to most places here in Fort Myers. I recommend any and everything. I'm getting the picture that u can't go wrong here. So go ahead and treat yourself, it's worth it!
(5)Annie S.
I really enjoyed eating here. I went with a friend and we split a couple of dishes. The grape leaves are some of the best I have had and the tabbouleh was so unique with pomegranate mixed in (so good). We also had the Turkish coffee which was delicious. To top it off the prices were not bad at all. To make it even better when we checked out the owner asked if we had ever had hookah. Since we had not he offered to make one for us to try. They made us a chocolate mint one that tasted like an Andes mint and brought us out some hot mint tea to enjoy while we were there. Good food, nice people. Can not ask for much more!
(5)Mo B.
Great Mediterranean taste, a real Mediterranean taste at that. Fresh ingredients and you can tell. Great wraps and the rice is really good too. Clean and a good atmosphere. Will be returning.
(5)Maxine G.
Another authentic International restaurant set amidst all the cookie cutter chain restaurants on 41. Started with the Baba ganoush which was smoky and lemony with fresh pita which we devoured. Main courses were a chicken schwarma sandwich, chicken kabab plate and a lamb schwarma plate. All done exceptionally well but I would ask for lemon slices to squeeze n top and some salt. All the food was slightly undersalted. The rice with vermicelli was a a huge hit . Great choice for real food at affordable prices. Please note there is no alchohol allowed. That shouldn't stop you from trying this taste of the Middle East
(5)Zane z.
I've been going here for a while now. I love this place, these folks are extremely nice and the food is awesome! This last time I got takeout. I do hope someday I can get a slice of knafeh here.
(5)Alex G.
We've been waiting for a place like this, having moved from Brooklyn, and having the variety of Middle Eastern food! Simply amazing, delicious and this is our new spot for Falafel and Shawarma!!!!
(5)Josh B.
My friend had never had any middle eastern food before and was a bit leery, but the cleanliness started putting him at ease. We had a late lunch and the chubby server directed us though the menu. The lamb schwarma was fantastic, but my mate had a lamb kabab sandwich that was out of this world. My only part of criticism is i wish that plates were reusable instead of Styrofoam .
(5)JC I.
You will find food no better than this at any price. They take a spiritual pride in preparing everything they serve. The lamb, beef chicken and vegetables are all fresh. I love middle eastern food and this place makes me know why. The place is ultra clean. Everyone always treats me like family and I'm Japanese.
(5)Matt H.
Too expensive for the quality. Service was sub par. food was sub par. We will try them again for some other menu items. Will rereview at that point based on falafel quality and dolmades.
(1)Kirk P.
Everyone hasa their favorite places and this is my favourite middle eastern restaurant in the Fort Myers area. Chicken shwarma was very good and lamb kebab was also delicious. Owner? was very friendly and recommended hibiscus tea which was very good. Food is not salty. Tabouli was delicious with pomegranate seeds.
(5)Kj R.
Great lamb and chicken I adore the baba ghanouj and even the french fries are something special. Best of all is the special service iAhmad gives to everybody Who comes in he really wants to serve you exactly what you're in the mood for. Plus the music is really fun to listen to my husband loves the belly dancing videos
(5)Tori G.
Service was great. Location is fine. Place is clean. Parking is easy getting in and out. Wasn't loud there. Not super $$$ either. I give it 3 stars because it really really messed up my stomach. It's been off ever since I ate a couple bites and I'm not sensitive to food.. So not sure what happened here. I got the "Shish Tawook Tikka" not a combo... It was OK. I felt like it was missing something.... I didn't know what maybe lettuce? Idk it was bland. My friend got the "Grape Leaves vegetarian" that was DELICIOUS! Wasn't what I expected to see either. Pretty plate presentation. Sat outside. Was nice out there. Smelt fruity. All in all I personally didn't find it to be a place id want to go back to. Just didn't tickle my pink.
(3)Kesavan V.
We got the lamb kabab and chicken kabab - we asked them to add some extra spices to it. The kababs were awesome - haven't had such great kababs in the near past; actually since the 16 years I lived here in US. 5 stars for the kababs. We also got some lamb and chicken shewermas - not the greatest shewermas we have had. I would love to come back and try some of their other dishes.
(4)Chrissy M.
I never thought that I'd find good Middle Eastern food in SWFL. We stopped in for falafels and tabbouleh with low expectations. They were amazing. The tabbouleh had fresh pomegranate seeds for added flavor. The service was fantastic and the restaurant was spotless. I would highly recommend this restaurant to get your Middle Eastern fix.
(5)Angie P.
They use fresh and high quality ingredients, offer an array of vegetarian options, and every time I go in I want to lick my plate. I've been in almost once I week for the past five weeks because I crave their falafel platter.
(5)Tim S.
This is a gem in the sad vast sea of national chains along the highway. Delicious and authentic middle eastern offerings. Amjed, the smiling, gregarious owner welcomed every patron heartily, like a friend of the family. Glad Yelp helped us find Kabab Village.
(5)Alicia B.
Love all the vegetarian choices, food was supremely full of flavor and the staff made you feel at home.
(5)Erika K.
They were out of Tabbouleh so they gave me extra grape leaves and falafel. SO YUM! there's quite a bit of olive oil on everything, but I guess that's how it's supposed to be. The falafel was a bit crispy, but the flavor of everything was overall excellent.
(4)Gemma Gigi H.

(5)West N.
High quality food. Just flew into town and I was impressed with taste and passion put into the shawarma and hummus. Mouth was exploding. I eat Middle Eastern cuisine all the time and this was made by people who know what they are doing. You won't be disappointed.
(5)Umar A.
I've had middle-eastern food before and I was partial to Indian food but this place is fantastic! They've certainly changed my mind. I've taken my family to Kabab Village a few times now and everyone loves it. The ambiance and decor is fun and so is the owner of the place. Visiting the website makes my mouth water. I have never seen him without a smile. I live in Bonita and I wish they were closer to here so I could frequent it more often. If you are in the Fort Myers area this is a must-try.
(5)Scott H.
Nice spot! The two guys working here seem to really care about what they do. They are very personable and friendly. The food was very good. I tried the Baba ghanoush, hummus, and mixed grilled kebab, all great. But my favorite was the chicken shawarma and the baklava fingers. These guys deserve some love, check it out.
(4)Wolfgang D.
Wonderful fresh food. The kitchen was very clean, and the staff was courteous.? Everything looked made to order, and the hummus tasted freshly made. The decor was bright and clean. Would happily recommend this place to any friend that likes good food.
