The Inn: The owners are warm, welcoming, and helpful. They easily accommodated our request for a vegan breakfast. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. They have a separate bedroom and living room/kitchen. The living room has a large screen TV with cable, and the kitchen has full sized appliances and everything you need to cook and dine. Tree and Dan really thought of all the details, such as several books in the rooms, and beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, toys, even a wagon!). The Location: The Inn is on Estero Island, which was a $45 taxi ride from the airport. We had no need for a car rental, as there are several things to do on the island, and an adorable trolley (75 cents per ride) that runs along the length of the island. From the Inn, the beach is across the street, and there is a grocery store and a pool/waterpark two blocks away. Accessible by the trolley is the cute downtown area, several restaurants, boat tours, and a larger/nicer grocery store (Publix). I typically like to try somewhere new each time I travel, but everything about our stay was so wonderful and EASY that I definitely plan to return!

What an awesome place to stay! Everything we needed for a great beach vacation and a wonderfully prepared breakfast every morning! Dan and Tree are great hosts.

I'm hesitant to write a review for this lovely little inn because I'm afraid the secret is going to get out. We did a little girls' weekend in Ft Myers last month and really enjoyed staying here. The innkeepers were friendly and super helpful, and the place is adorable! I can't wait to go back. They offer a kitchen and a communal pantry that you can use, so it's perfect for a family get away. Note: It's also dog friendly, and our dog Pacey loved the sofa!

I still can't believe this place is real. We stayed here for my dad's wedding and inn owners Dan and Tree went above and beyond for us. I'd give this place 5 stars for the breakfasts they served us alone.

This IS as good as it gets. My girlfriend and I decided to search for a B & B after she had a work-related training seminar in nearby Fort Myers during the week, and since we were down there we wanted to stay a night on the beach. We found this little place through an internet search, and although it's not directly on the beach, we went for it. The rest is history. Mango Street Inn is now on our very short list of "must do" places, and we are very well travelled. Needless to say - we'll be back. I'm struggling both with how to put into words how awesome our stay was, and also whether to reveal its secret. Alas, since you're reading this, I decided to spill my guts. Mango Street is run by a husband and wife team that bought it a few years ago and put it through a major renovation. We initially booked one night, but upon having the time of our lives, we had to stay on for another. Our room was immaculate. I literally would have eaten off of the floor. Everything here just "clicked". Dan and Teresa, the proprietors, did an amazing job rehabbing the units, and also building a really cool deck in the courtyard with a masterful trellis that takes the bite out of the midday sun. He schooled me at "ring toss", but by Sunday morning I got that mastered. Breakfast is made to order and out of this world! Dan is humble about his background, which makes this stay all the more awesome, because you realize by the end of your trip that you are in the midst of a master at the top of his game. Unfortunately we didn't have the pleasure of meeting his wife, who was out of town, but we very much look forward to making her acquaintance when we return. Book this place with confidence - you won't be disappointed!
