All I gotta say is 151 & Lo Mein. Yes! The outside patio is situated so that you don't have to worry about foot traffic while you eat. The ambiance is really good. It's a nice place for a first date.

This used to be a GREAT place to get a light lunch during a shopping trip to the Galleria, however BEWARE!!! The lunch menu and specials are no longer offered!! If you want a small lunch avoid this place!! There are many good and reasonably priced options in the mall and in the area as well. I don't know which genius at PF Chang's came up with the idea to eliminate serving lunch at lunchtime, but I'm sure it is all about greed and stupidity. Six of us went for their rice bowl lunch on Saturday. We were seated and given menus. We inquired about the lunch specials and said they are no longer offered at lunch time!!! How screwed up is that?? It was not a problem, we left and went elsewhere. I suspect that is going to happen more and more often as people realize the corporate management has no brain and driven by greed!!

What a FUN evening! Stopped by on a Tuesday night at 6:30 without a reservation. There was plenty of dining room seating and room at the bar. We choose the bar. The manager, Nick, was very friendly and enthusiastic. We were welcomed by the bartender who has been there since it opened.....a real professional, she was quick , friendly and accurate. She told us we had a half hour left to happy hour and we ordered our drinks and food. We ordered Orange Chili Edamame, Pan Fried Dumplings, and Spicy Chicken Soup. It was more than enough fluid for the two of us and it was hot and delicious. The drinks were cold and very fairly priced. The conversation at the bar was fun. Do yourself a favor and visit soon.... say hi to Nick. sashie and Gia for me!

Great food! A little pricy per person & they put more of a portion on the plate than one person can (or should) possibly eat. It's a very big menu, & it takes a while to read thru it to decide what you want. I was in a group of 7 people, & also one of 3 of those people who enjoys using chopsticks. They supply plenty of chopsticks for everyone, plus a few extras. And the chopsticks are also more durable/reusable plastic rather than the usual wooden ones you have to split before use, that splinters in your mouth or all over the place if the initial break doesn't go right. I think the middle of the menu listed the vegetarian-friendly options, & I know I had one of those that was in the $11-12 range. I don't remember what it was called, it had the word "coconut" in the title, & "vegetables". But it was delicious!

I came here for lunch on a whim and it ended up being happy hour! Awesome! So pretty much around $5 for beers and $5-7 for wine I believe. Not bad at all. I'm sorry, I have no recollection on what time it was but I'd look up happy hour if you're interested. I just know that the lunch specials ended at 4pm. Anyways, my friend purchased the sweet and sour lunch chicken with brown rice and I had the beef and broccoli with white rice. They had "Crab wontons" aka Crab Rangoon for $5 for Happy Hour! The Sweet & Sour chicken was great and the brown rice was surprisingly good, cooked fresh. I suspect it was cooked fresh because not a lot of people order brown rice for lunch, so they had to make it to order. My meal on the other hand was disappointing. The beef and broccoli were okay, but my rice was very stale and hard. I politely informed the waitress and she was very quick, apologetic and professional about apologizing and changing it out, so service was A-OK. After a while, my friend did find a small hair in his food, but we weren't sure if it could've just been his or not, so, not wanting to cause anymore disturbance, we just kept quiet. The lunch portions did also come with soup or salad. We chose the dumpling soup, which was okay as well. The highlight was definitely the crab rangoon! If you've never had it, you can definitely tell it was made fresh and was the best, but considering it was only an appetizer, it's unfortunate that it overshadowed the main courses. I gave it 2 stars considering how expensive it is for the actual quality of the food. Although the hair in food is still questionable, the stale rice at an Asian specialty restaurant turned me off. I know it's lunch prices ($10-15) over dinner ($15+) but it is still pricey for the quality. I can understand if the chicken flavoring was not to my liking but rice is very basic and hard to mess up. I'm a 20-something college student and even I can cook better rice. It also did not seem up to par with the cleanliness. The soup and beef and broccoli were okay, but comparable to chinese take out, which is why I also rated low. For the same quality, possibly better, I could order take out from a good and much cheaper Chinese restaurant alternative. Maybe it's not fair to rate 2/5 but I guess the expectations for P.F. Changs were not met as it is often compared and priced to restaurants similar to the Cheesecake Factory, etc. Anyways, as I usually encourage in my reviews, unless they are absolutely horrendous, go see for yourself and decide. My experience could have been a hit or a miss. It was definitely a "meh" experience.

As avid Changs fans, we come here at least twice every time we visit Ft. Lauderdale (lunch and dinner). Great location nice outdoor seating, but the bar area (where you all know I like to sit) seems like it could use a little TLC. More times than not the bartenders seem stressed. Sometimes to where you almost feel bad asking for anything else. The bar area is small compared to most locations, so it is puzzling why. I have to say when they seem to be having an easier day they are accommodating and it is an enjoyable visit.

Review is based on one visit for two. ... It was a Saturday night. They were busy. We sat at the bar and ordered an organic wine and a minute later we were called - even though they said it would be 20 minutes or more... We got seated outside - awesome and were promptly given menus and water. Our waiter was efficient, the food was very good, and the portions were generous. My sister never ate at PFC before and really enjoyed the meal. An appetizer and entree totaled $40 before tax and tip -- the 2 glasses of wine were about $16.

I'm going to be quick here. This was a 2 star experience with 3 star food and a 4 star server. Unfortunately, the experience trumps all else this time because of how ridiculous it was. We got here at 5pm on a Friday and had to wait for a seat. That in-itself is fine, but we shouldn't really have to wait when we see a good 5 open tables! And the open tables were not in a closed section, nor were they 4-tops or 6-tops, they were 2-tops. So, we ended up waiting a good 10-15 minutes. Also, there were four, count them my Cookie Monster friends, FOUR people at the hostess desk and it still took like 5 minutes with 2 groups of 3 in front of us for us to put our name down. What on Earth are FOUR people doing at a hostess desk? I know, nothing. There was only one girl taking reservations. Holy Jeez Louis! During our wait I heard the following. Gentleman: Hi, our party of four is here for 5:15 Lady at desk: We're asking that if you have a reservation that you give us 10-15 more minutes. My lord. They're asking people who have a reservation for a specific time to wait! This is horrible and unacceptable customer service. Like all PFChang's, small menu. We got the egg-rolls and Lettuce Wrap along with the Pad Thai. for $2, we upgraded the Pad Thai to extra Chicken and for $2 more we got fried tofu. The reason for the 3 star food: 1) The fried tofu was mushy - fried should mean firm, not soft 2) There should have been more noodles Our server was great, the receipt said Audrey, so if that was really her, she's awesome. She was quick to "be on our side", by putting in orders into the kitchen soon, filling up water (don't ask, I agree, there should have been people besides our server filling up water!), giving her opinion, making our meal more enjoyable. Long story short: Decent food, with some flaws. Unacceptable hostess station work. Try and get Audrey as your server. Look, if you want better food, with more variety and only a few steps away, go to Cheesecake Factory. There's a wait there, but it's for a reason!

I love PF Changs dishes! My favorites usually are curry vegetables, Singapore street noodles, won ton soup, garlic shrimp dish, lettuce wrap, and many others. And my husband and I absolutely love their New York Cheesecake that comes with the most delicious freshly minced raspberry sauce. But this location made me disappointed. First, we ordered chicken noodle soup that had horrible huge (looking like white worms) noodles in it that tasted like flour and filled up 1/3 of the bowl. Second, Singapore street noodles were not soft enough, they were a bit crunchy, half cooked. And then our favorite raspberry sauce tasted like jam. I asked the waiter if they changed the recipe but he had no clue what Im talking about. So I still love PF Changs just not this location.

This has got to be the worst PF Changs in South Florida! We came in on Saturday night for an 8:30 reservation (seated around 8:45) when the place was not busy at all... Especially compared to the North Miami Beach and Sawgrass locations. They were out of Stella beer and pork dumplings. Our server Jeff was extremely disinterested, like we were bothering him to do his job. Barely an apology for being out of the things we wanted. The food tasted off. If you're at the Galleria eat somewhere else! I love PF Changs in general and this was just disappointing.

My girlfriend and I are regular diners here at PF Chang for a long time. Most of time their service is consistent . The reason they lost a star is they served us a very dry brown rice. If it was not an Asian restaurant , I could forgive them but this is an Asian restaurant and for Asian rice is very important . I wouldn't even that to eat home nor would serve to my guest if I had guest at home. Also, their food is too salty in general , but overall, this is one of good Chinese restaurant .
When in doubt eat at PF Chang's you will NEVER be disappointed. I eat the spicy eggplant with brown rice every single time. When I want to splurge I get the salted caramel cake.

I go to PF Chang's on a regular basis and this location in Fort Lauderdale by the Galleria Mall is by far the worst location I have been to. The plates and silverware were dirty with old dried food and the food was so inconsistent from all of my other experiences at PF Changs- the food came out messy and tasted horrible. I was so surprised as I always order the same things at every PF Changs and at this location those same dishes tasted gross. I had to send 1 item back. If you're like me and usually love PF Changs, go to a different location- not this one in Fort Lauderdale!! Horrible service and disappointed in the food here!

P. F. Chang is a chain so it is supposed to consistently provide the same food and the same environment at multiple locations. From the number I have been at, they do a good job of that and this location is no exception. The interior of this location, however, generally seems more dimly lit than most and in some areas it's nice to have a flashlight. As for the food, you can't go wrong on the fact that it is good though it is basically an American interpretation of what Chinese food should be and what Chinese food should taste like. So, you really don't go here looking for authentic Chinese, which isn't to say that a vast number of people wouldn't rather have an interpretation of Chinese rather than the real thing for a number reasons which to me would be very valid. This location also seems to be a gather for large groups and indeed I came with a group of 22. So, though the service was good and adequate it was slow. I order a martini up, which by the time it got to me was barely below room temperature but for me warm gin is better than no gin, so I made do. I also had the Sichuan Shrimp which I found to in fact be tasty, good, and spicy as they said it would be, perfectly prepared and properly presented though nothing exceptional. As for the price, I found it to be reasonable though more than I would pay in most restaurants that are in fact authentic Chinese. Over all it's a place where you really can't go wrong but also a place where really won't find anything exceptional either.

This P.F. Changs needs some serious customer service training on how to treat their warrior rewards members. I wouldn't recommend going to this location anytime soon. However, the general manager did apologize for the bad experience, and went out of his way to call me personally, but they need a lot of work on their communication skills with customers and internally among their employees. I'm really hoping they can turn this place around because it's in a great location with a beautiful atmosphere. Just wish the servers were properly trained and more knowledgable about their rewards program and how to have good customer service.

Spent a day in Ft.Lauderdale before boarding our cruise. Went to Sawgrass Outlet and thought we would try this restuarsnt. Beautiful decor. We decided to sit outside at their patio. I got the seabass which was so moist and fresh. On a bed of greens. So good! My husband tried their shrimps and we both had thier special fried rice. Food was great and so was their service was great. I have yet to go to the one in Toronto but happy there is one here. I will probably be going back to this location next year... again before our cruise.

In town for the night, I wanted to go to the mall for something right around dinnertime. My uber dropped me off at the valet, which was right next to the P.F. Chang's. After my shopping was done and tummies started to grumble, I remembered P.F. Chang's and headed that way. On the way I called and asked if there was a wait. There was.. 20 minutes or so the host said. I asked if I could put my name on the list for call ahead seating and was told they didn't do that. Oh well.. worth a try. We headed over and put our name in, and were seated within just a couple of minutes. Our server came over pretty quickly and told us about the happy hour specials, so we placed an order of crispy green beans before the special ended. Typically I see smaller portions for happy hour, but not this time. There were a lot more than we expected, and we only ate about 2/3 of them to save room for our meals. I ordered a vegetarian dish, which came with brown or white rice. Trying to upgrade to fried rice failed, and it took me a minute to realize the menu I was looking at was the lunch menu when they DO allow you to upgrade. Oh well, I suppose I didn't need the fried rice and ended up with brown instead, which was still wonderful. This was a solid 4-star experience, both in terms of the service and the food. The restaurant itself was probably a 3-star, simply because it was freezing inside (and I don't get cold easily) and the layout of the dining room seemed a little cramped.

First time at this location. Did not dine in, ordered on site (not in advance) and waited for food. Great location at the end of the mall near the food court. Both valet parking and drop off located right in front of the entrance. It was not a too busy night, but it seemed to take awhile for my food to come out. That said, the take - out server (at the take - out desk) gave GREAT service. Hats off to Tonya. She knew I was waiting... When I first arrived she let me know that she would get to me once she was done with the previous customer, then let me know she would help me when I had decided on my choices. To top it off, she let me know that my food was up next (cue fairly decent wait), and then was extremely pleasant as she rang me up, offering all the sauces and utensils. Fantastic.

This is the first time I have visited this location - the portions seemed much smaller than other locations. We ordered several dishes to share family style but they really weren't quite large enough to share each across 4 people (which we typically do at this chain - it's nice to have a variety). The spicy chicken portion especially was much smaller than normal. The quality however was great as always.

Came here for lunch on a weekday and ate outside so I could people watch. The interior was typical PF Chang decor like in LA - dark, Asian and mysterious. Had the $10 and under lunch combo special. Went with a Mixed Greens Salad, GF Caramel Mango Chicken and steamed rice. I'm not celiac, but I can't tolerate large quantities of gluten and any amount of MSG. Didn't have any digestion problems from the food here. Food was really spicy, but definitely better than your typical mall food court.

The meal for 2 only figures dishes that are not that popular when they used to have for example Mongolian beef, kungpao scallops among others, also the crab appetizers have been removed. We ended up deciding to pay for our drinks and go to another restaurant. I hope they review their menu and put it back as it was. Pf Changs used to be one of our favorite restaurants but we are very disappointed.

Every question we asked her about the menu she replied with a snappy response and seemed annoyed that we were asking questions. Our busser David was very friendly and helped with refills several times as we couldn't find Maggie for refills.

Our family had an amazing dining experience at PF Changs. We had deliciously prepared Mongolian beef, Pad Thai, Spicy chicken, and shrimp with lobster sauce. All of these dishes were very carefully crafted and extremely tasty with the added optional sauces. We especially enjoyed the most delightful service from our most pleasant waitress, Tracy, who served us very well and complemented our overall positive dining experience. Under no circumstances should you ever consider dining out at the less popular Jade Palace across the street because the maître d' there is very sullen and the food is not at all tasty.

It is no secret that I love me some PF Changs, so when I saw this one close to my hotel I packed up my travel companions and made it to the restaurant. We were a group of 7 and the wait on a Friday night was 45 minutes. We just went shopping around the Galleria. Forty five minutes later we came back and the host told me a story of how she did not know how much longer we had to wait... I looked at her incredulously, but just gave her the benefit of the doubt. The second time it happened I asked for her manager, If you cant do your job.. then you shouldn't be standing there looking incompetent. We were seated within 5 minutes. It was going to get ugly in there, but thankfully it didn't. The food was good and the service from the waiter was good also. I guess just make sure you reach an understand with the host. Don't get me wrong, I understand you are really busy, but you either know what you are doing or you don't... in this case it seemed to be the latter. This situation almost made this a 2 star review.

Why am I writing a review for a chain restaurant? The whole point of a brand is to deliver a consistent experience in multiple locations. You're in a new city, you're craving chinese food and you know PF Changs will deliver the experience and quality you want. But I wanted to give them a shout for a couple of reasons. #1 They are doing social media right! A friend and I are looking for a place to see a show for chinese new year. He tweets me and asks about PF Changs. Within an hour or so, we get a response to come check out their red envelope promo event next week. Nice job social media manager! #2 Their calamari is awesome I love when restaurants put a spin on this appetizer favorite. Side note: If you haven't had the Thai version at Legal Seafood - go now. I had never had calamari here and i am so happy I tried it. The light tempura is an interesting twist but the SAUCE is to die for. #3 The bartenders are awesome I have a friend who comes for happy hour once a week because he loves the service so much. That's a great testament to a place located in a mall where servers might be tempted to treat everyone like a tourist transient. #4 Happy Hour Pricing Even though they only do it during the week, you can get great "appies" and cocktails at a phenomenal price. The caveat is that you have to do it early. I wish they would extend it to weekends because that's about the ONLY time I hit happy hour at 3p.

We're not chain fans but there are a few like PF Chang's that we like in general. However, this one seems very small. The bar is off the side in the back. It's all a bit strange. Went this past weekend with a group of 12 to celebrate a friends and it was pretty empty which is weird for a PF Chang's. The good part of empty is that they can easily sit a party of 12 even if part of the crew got there 45 minutes late. The food was typical and consistent of any PF Chang's so that was good. The service however wasn't great. My wife's dish was Kung Pao Shrimp and they brought chicken. Rather than asking no questions and just firing up another dish it took a while for them to sort it out. With a big group that stinks as everyone wanted to wait for her to get her dish. They did leave the chicken dish behind which was a nice make-up. I would say this location is an average to below avg PF Chang's.

After coming to this location twice, I totally believe this is one of the greatest P.F. Chang's I've been to. The service is amazing, our last server was Mary Ellen and she was helpful and very knowledgeable. She asked the cooks for a sample of a dish we were interested in and the sous-chef Jonathan came out with a FULL dish of the Flaming Red Wontons. We were so grateful for their generosity. We don't ever go to a chain restaurant and get this kind of service. Onto the food and drinks: I've had the PF-X and their Cosmopolitan and both are well made and extremely good. You just can't beat their happy hour offerings. We love steamed dumplings and have tried the bacon and egg, pork, pork and leak, and the pork and shrimp dumplings and they all have been extremely tasty. My favorite it is the pork and shrimp: the sweetness of the shrimp is balanced with the robust flavors from the pork! Delicious! My boyfriend's favorite is the pork. The complimentary Flaming Red Wontons totally lived up to their spicy name. They were the perfect intensity of heat. Not too weak and not too overwhelming and makes you cry. The other thing we love here is the chicken lettuce wraps. They're just so light and refreshing: the hearty chicken mixture wrapped in that crisp, fresh lettuce wraps is a perfect summer meal. The one thing that was a bit off is that their brown rice tends to be a little bit dry, but I still love the wheat-y flavor it has.

This review goes to show that, not only food determines the experience of a restaurant goer, but as well as the service that is provided. In today's age where us "foodies" can share our experience I am appalled that certain restaurant chains don't provide at least good customer service at best. So here is my rant... I went to PF Chang's in Galleria Mall on my lunch break. I went on a recommendation of a co-worker because not just one but various co-workers had stated to me that they offer our employees a nice discount and to make sure to ask for it. Long story made short I was denied the request when I asked for the bill. So I paid my full price bill and asked to speak to the manager. I did this because I wanted to express my disappointment of being denied the discount that (I know for a fact) all my other colleagues had received. His response at first was to deny that they don't EVER give discounts to anyone. When I told him that I had a receipt that showed a discount my co-worker had received, he asked me where I worked. He then changed his answer to, "oh well yes I have given discounts to those employees, however it is up to our discretion." Everyone I have told this story to finds this response borderline discrimination. One friend went as far as comparing it to the Arizona state law that did NOT pass where a business could have denied service to a customer depending on their religion, sexual orientation etc. Obviously this situation is not as severe, but I had to write this review based on the passionate responses from my social network followers/friends and they all urged me to take action. As for the food, it is really good. But the bad service leaves a bad taste in your mouth for a long time.

Adventured outside of the usual 39.95 dinner for two blah blah blah... Tried the Seared Ahi Tuna and it fresh tasting and the little salad with thinly sliced cucumbers was really tasty and fresh (I paired it with a White Oregon Blend.... ). I have been to other P.F. Chang locations and the food is usually the same at every location so the service is usually what the rating comes down to. I had the honey glazed chicken which was very yummy. Our waiter was funny and friendly and managed to refill drinks without you even realizing he had done it. Be careful with the chocolate cake... its enough for the whole table (4-6 people).

And Changs Spicy Chicken (which Im sure exceeded my recommended caloric intake for the week) What I find annoying at this place is my whole meal feels rushed. These are now in almost every city and when you go you pretty much know what you're going to get. The spicy chicken is still my all-time fave and it didn't disappoint. The service was great...in a packed restaurant we were greeted immediately and served quickly. I expected more of a wait for our food and the waters were refilled regularly (as were the beers). It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and will be back.

We were on our way to try a local restaurant but it was unfortunately closed for the day, posted reason: 'summer hours'. We always choose locally owned locations over chains however we were already quite hungry so went to PF Chang's on Sunrise, it was on our way. It's a chain restaurant so expect it to be such, nevertheless, it is better service and better quality food preparation than going to some of the other chain restaurants. When your server tells you the food is spicy, it is (of course, only if you're not accustomed to eating spicy food, otherwise, you will enjoy it like we did). If it's your first time going to the restaurant, let them know when you walk in, you will receive a survey card and receive a $10 off coupon for your next visit. Parking is located by the mall, free, you will walk just a little distance, but that's always good.

I'll be honest. I go to PF Chang's for 2 reasons: the Mongolian beef and the chicken lettuce wraps. However, PF Chang's China Bistro does several dishes exceptionally well. Expect a dimly lit ambience complete with real napkins and cutlery. You won't break the bank eating at this establishment either. For $25 to $30 you can have a nice dinner served to you by a friendly and courteous waiter. They have a good wine selection and are very accommodating when it comes to allergies. In fact, on my last visit the general manager came to my table when I mentioned being allergic to shelled fish. He was concerned that the oyster sauce they use in the Mongolian beef would cause a reaction. I told him that it never had before and that I would take full responsibility should a freak reaction occur during my meal. Of course, I devoured all of the scrumptious Mongolian beef on my plate without incident. I've also had my friends order the orange chicken and the smoked lamb so I could give these dishes a try. They are every bit as delicious! PF Chang's is an awesome chain and their service and food has been consistently good regardless of the location I've chosen to visit.

It had been a while since I'd been to PF Changs, so I was happy when a rescue group I work with suggested a lunchtime meeting here. We were one of THOSE tables - there were supposed to be like 15 of us and it was only 5, but hell, we were nice and I always tip well. :) The food was just eh compared to what I remembered. Had the tofu lettuce wraps, which were good, but could have used a different, sweeter sauce. The coconut curry veggies were ok, could definitely have used more sauce and more tofu. But the flavor was delicious. Server was super friendly, so extra stars for her efforts. I'd come back here and try some other items, but this time around was rather unimpressive.

I wasn't in the mood to venture out to something new and unfamiliar and it's location was ideal to where I was at the time. I am normally not a fan of Chinese food, because I find that it generally is too greasy or salty for my taste. But this popular Americanized chain restaurant has always been an exception. No matter which city, "PF Changs" is usually crowded w/ families and big groups. The attractive interior /exterior design is warm with the familar Asian decor. Despite the normal long waiting list for a table, one can usually find open seats at the stimulating bar. I had the seared ahi and spicy green beans which was delicious. And their their chicken lettuce wraps has always been an all-time favorite. It's times like these, that placate the thought of "ugh.. a chain restaurant"... which makes the overall dining experience worthwhile and comfortable.

We had the intentions of going to Christina Wans but they were closed for vacation - so we walked in there was maybe 10 people in the whole place the hostess had to finish her conversation with a waitress before she could help us- strike 1- took all about 3 min then sat us and the waitress took another 10 to take are drink orders- since I checked in on yelp when we walked in- I got a free dim sum the. Went here for my boyfriends birthday, food was decent, i had a vegetarian dish, my boyfriend had duck and said it was pretty good as well. But we had pretty lousy service, a bald server obnoxiously pushing drinks on us, he then took 15 min to get a diet coke, which says a lot, being that we went on a Wednesday afternoon. Besides the subpar service, restaurant was pretty good. Happy hour is definitely worth it.

I had first tried the dumplings from the freezer section in grocery store,And they where EXCELLENT! I figured that if the food is this good at home, then it must be better at the bistro. It was everything and more. The quantity and quality are the highest.Very pleased with the service,cleanliness of the establishment. This location really needs to get their act together. The food was great so no complaints in that department. But we had the following issues: - Were told there would be a 10-15 min wait when 2/3 of the tables inside and outside were empty. Stop the show and just seat us, seriously. - Attempted to order our cocktails at the bar during our wait, after 10 min our table was ready (that was really ready the whole time) and cocktails hadn't been started - At least 5 additional min later the cocktails finally arrive at the table. (Agave Margarita = Delicious) - We placed our order with our very nice waitress. We ordered lunch specials that came with soup. 10 min later our orders arrived and we never got our soup. Then our soup came out a few min later. - The tables around us were having a hard time getting what they asked for and we heard people becoming frustrated with the service. The whole time it just seemed disorganized and poorly managed. If it weren't for the food and drinks that are necessary in the middle of a marathon shopping day, I wouldn't come back. But the food was really good and the lunch menu prices can't be beat. Hopefully next time will be a better experience.

We had a very nice dinner here, did the $39.95 special for 2 and found it to be a well cooked, flavorful and enjoyable meal. The server stopped by 10 seconds after the food came to ask how it was, then we had to track him down later for refills. Overall nice dinner and we will be back. I'm Chinese. I even share last names with this place. That's not going to stop me from giving this glorified panda express 1 star. For some reason, my mom loves eating at P.F. Chang's. I've literally dined at this establishment over 20 times, from NC to VA to CA. Strangely enough, the best tasting branch we've been to is in Milwaukee. Anyway, usually the dishes are innocuous, but the food at this branch is horrible! I mean, the chicken noodle soup (a staple in our dining list because my mom swears it tastes exactly like a Taiwanese dish called bi tai bah) tasted NOTHING like the other branches we've been to. It only had a few sad pieces of wilted cilantro, dry chicken, and the smallest, ugliest, bruised pieces of mushrooms. Even my mom, who usually inhales this soup as if it were the last drop of water in a desert oasis, refused to drink more than a few spoonfuls. Oh and the sauteed mushrooms, which are usually delicious in ANY culture, were burnt and swimming in a greasy, watery mess. One last gripe I have about this particular location is the bathrooms. Instead of having toilet paper holders built into the wall, they have these flimsy metal stands that each hold a single roll of tp. Said stand is placed very strategically right in front of the toilet. I swung open the door, knocked over the stand, and watched in horror as the entire roll slid neatly into the open bowl with a plop. I fished it out before the top part got soaked but that didn't make the incident any less gross :( Skip this location, go to the boca one or ANY other for 3.5 star food. Growing up Asian in California, it's hard to compare PF Chang's to any of the more authentic options dotting the West coast. However, compared to other PF Chang's locations, this one seems to be lacking the energy and (limited) charm of other locations, not helped by inconsistent lighting that created awkward dark spots. The food is typical Americanized Chinese - saucy, salty, and lacking a punch. Most disappointing though, was the specialty dish I ordered - dubbed "Mandarin Chicken". It was a saucy, stir-fried mess - uninspired with bland stir-fried chicken and veggies blended with a weak sweet and sour sauce. Honestly, did they dump this dish out of a freezer bag labeled Wanchai Ferry? Other dishes such as the lettuce wraps and honey walnut shrimp were definitely more palatable. Overall, the service was decent, and PF Chang's will satisfy a craving for Chinese. But don't expect anything remotely stellar that compares to more authentic options.

I've been to PF Changs (this particular one) more times than I can count. It seems to always be the place for birthdays or other special occasions - but I've also been there on multiple other occasions as well. After my 100th trip to PF Changs and venturing out to other Asian/Fusion restaurants such as Chows, Asia Di Cuba and others my enjoyment for Changs dwindled. Hope was restored this past weekend as I went with a small group of friends. The chain restaurant started doing a "dinner for two menu". It is supposedly only lasting for a limited time but hopefully they will keep it. This menu has restored my faith. You get choice of 2 soups, 1 app from a choice of about 8 (including their chicken lettuce wraps!), 2 full size entrees, and choice of a mini desserts for 39.00. I chose the sweet and sour soup ( i dint recommend), then we got the chicken lettuce wraps, beef and broccoli and Changs chicken. For dessert i got the mini red velvet cake and my partner in crime for the night got the chocolate cake. The other duo received the egg noodle soup and the sweet and sour soup, pork dumplings for the app, beef and broccoli and spicy chicken for their entrees..i believe they got the smores dessert and a tiramasu... either way we were all very happy and could not have eaten another bite by the time we left. I will definitely be making a return...once my pants button again

Avoid this pf changs if possible. This was the worst one i have visited. I ordered a vegetarian mapo tofu dish because it mentioned it was silken tofu which usually refers to soft tofu which is also the traditional chinese way and when I got it, it was with braised fried tofu. So, ok, not the Chinese way but that's fine, it's a very Americanized Chinese restaurant so not a big deal. Then I asked if I could have it soft and the manager had a minor hernia trying to accommodate that request. It seemed like such an ordeal to change it to soft tofu. It seemed like I was offending him by wanting to eat soft tofu. He kept trying to convince me that deep fried tofu is the only way to cook it and said he would put the sauce and chicken on the side because it won't cook well in the pan. I said it was ok and if it's bad I won't complain about it because it's a special request and it would be my fault but that's how I like it...the traditional way...he said it would be like jello and I'm not going to like it...buddy, I get what you're saying but can I just have my mapo tofu? I'm hungry. After about 4 -5 times of trying to convince me otherwise in a slightly demeaning manner, I sternly said, "look, my family is chinese, I've had this my whole life. I like the tofu soft please." finally he said ok, it'll be done in a few minutes and hung up. Jfkvjdkdi!!! I showed up and waited for my order which took a long time. A simple Togo order which should have been quick since I needed to get Back to my hotel to do work took more time to do than it would have to have dined in. The whole ordeal "ate up" around an hour. The Togo lady was nice the whole time but the Asian manager was not. Maybe they just Dont understand chinese food in florida...maybe...Unless they change management, avoid this of changs or just hope you don't need any special requests, like ever...and maybe it'll be fine. I will never return to this pf changs.

Date Visited: Friday 5/1/09 (Dinner) Don't get me wrong - I am a fan of PF Chang's and I really want to give this restaurant more stars, but there were a few issues with our visit this particular night. PF Chang's is located on the far end of the Galleria Mall garage parking (or we just simply parked in the wrong place), so while it was nice to stop in shops on the way back from dinner, it was kind of a pain to walk through it to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is detached from the mall (no entrance from inside the mall), just so ya know. Being Ft. Lauderdale, we decided to sit outside on their patio. After the previous night's dinner where we ate like pigs, we decided on only one appetizer. We got the vegetarian lettuce wraps. Even my father likes these! I was a little miffed that our waiter didn't make the sauce at the very beginning, like they're supposed to do and have done for every other visit I've ever made. The guy who brought out the lettuce made it for us. We ordered and started to eat the appetizers and chat. I've lived in California and Oregon for the past 25 years of my life, so I had a very disturbing hit into reality of other states. You can smoke in the patio area! I know smoking sections exist and I know you can't do anything about someone who walks by while smoking, but to sit where you want on the patio and smoke among non-smokers is just too much. It really wouldn't have mattered if it was the best Ma Po Tofu I've ever had in my life (and it was better than most because they didn't try to make it so hot that I couldn't feel my tongue anymore), the smoker sitting by us ruined everything.

Their outside patio is nice. Even though it faces the street, there is a privacy screen that really makes a difference. Given that this one is at a mall, parking can be a hassle.

The food at this place was inedible because of the salt. The waiter kept discounting my complaints, saying, "It's a matter of taste." TASTE? I've never tried to eat such salty food. And I LOVE salt on my food. The pork dumplings were greasy and pathetic. Both entrees that I tried were inedible. How anyone can like this chain is beyond me. It just goes to show how ignorant Americans are about good food. The only review I should have read and "heard" was the one by a Chinese guy who gave only one star because he couldn't give minus stars...I"m afraid that's what will happen to me here. Pathetic, expensive, snotty waiter, horrible excuse for a restaurant. I will never darken their door again!

We finally tried P F Changs, it has been open for about 4 months and since it is very close to our home...why not... Some things that are good...they accepted our reservation for 2 and gave a conformation number, (which they couldn't find when we got there, but did give us a booth as requested right away) The interoir atmosphere is exceptionally nice Our waiter was only semi professional...we told him we were not in a hurry (we do not like to be in and out in 30 minutes), mistake.... When we did get our food..spring rolls, very good, Steamed dumplings were good but cold when they were served, ..our Orange Peel Chicken very good. Plates were not removed from the table promptly, ...were we supposed to use the spring roll plates for our dumplings?...and when they were removed they were left on a tray right next to the table... Overall I give P F Changs a 6...(room for a lot of improvement)

Because there are no decent Chinese restaurants in South Florida, PF Chang's is as good as it gets. I've never had a bad meal there, even on busy weekends, but even on a less-busy day, service can be slow. Not good when you're with a hungry child who's dying for lettuce wraps. Restaurant is crammed with tables and banquette-style seating, so if you're disabled, physically impaired, or have kids with tiny bladders, you'll have issues getting around to go to the bathroom. The sizable appetizer menu is great for kids because of the smaller portions, but there are no kid-friendly alternatives to the Asian fare (e.g., no hamburgers or chicken fingers). If you bring kids, make sure they can handle themselves in public and have a semi-adventurous palate. Or at least bring a good lunchbox meal from home. Ambient noise level can be high on busy nights. If you want to have intimate conversations with your dinner partner, sit close together at one of the banquette tables; else you'll be shouting at each other the whole time.

You can't go wrong with the chicken lettuce wraps to start. Really fresh crisp lettuce heads and warm, tender chicken. Enough to share, but the pork dumplings are good as well. Mongolian beef and orange peel beef are good entrees. The Mongolian beef is tender while the orange peel beef is nice and crispy. Some good lamb dishes as well. You don't see that too often at Chinese restaurants. For dessert, the flourless chocolate dome is delicious, and gluten free for those that rely on that. The banana spring rolls with ice cream and caramel is also good.

"one positive thing about chains is you get consistency" my life partner in crime Miriam W is apt to say. However this PF Chang's didn't get that memo. I have to say I find the one in Emeryville, CA to be pleasant and I never mind going at someone's invitation. This one however was an invitation I should have passed up. First the host was on the phone and couldn't eke out a greeting or a a "one minute please" then some other staff, they have so many staff, managed to find me a booth. Eventually another waiter found me and took my order. I kept it simple, they have no Thai Iced Tea, so I stuck with a California Cabernet (the best kind kids) and a Vegetable Coconut Curry. What could go wrong? Thanks for asking. My waiter's next appearance at my table was him showing up with an armful of dirty dishes putting them down on my table and then going "whoa!" and leaving with a laugh but never an apology. Then the wine, good, dependable, full bodied Lohr Cabernet. Then the vegetable curry on one plate with tofu looking blackened and another big bowl of brown rice. Midway through the meal the waiter brought me at plate to combine the two which was okay except that plates were kept right next to my booth and this could have been done right away. The Rice looked like it had something, mmm buggy in it. The vegetables were cooked to the point where you wonder if there is nutritional value left and the tofu. Dammit, why can't people do tofu right? And why does a chain with "China Bistro" in its name get it so horrifyingly wrong.

It was very crowded but luckily we scored a table outside with no wait. The service was slow; it took forever for the food to come out (perhaps because it was so crowded?) but our waiter was good. This is the first time I have visited this location - the portions seemed much smaller than other locations. We ordered several dishes to share family style but they really weren't quite large enough to share each across 4 people (which we typically do at this chain - it's nice to have a variety). The spicy chicken portion especially was much smaller than normal. The quality however was great as always.

We ate here after seeing the poor rating at the Jade Palace across the street. Very glad we did! We had egg rolls and shared a sesame chicken entry and large pork fried rice dish. Came here for lunch on a weekday and ate outside so I could people watch. The interior was typical PF Chang decor like in LA - dark, Asian and mysterious. Had the $10 and under lunch combo special. Went with a Mixed Greens Salad, GF Caramel Mango Chicken and steamed rice. I'm not celiac, but I can't tolerate large quantities of gluten and any amount of MSG. Didn't have any digestion problems from the food here. Food was really spicy, but definitely better than your typical mall food court.

I went with my family to have dinner and we were very disappointed that the entire menu had been changed. The meal for 2 only figures dishes that are not that popular when they used to have for example Mongolian beef, kungpao scallops among others, also the crab appetizers have been removed. We ended up deciding to pay for our drinks and go to another restaurant. I hope they review their menu and put it back as it was. Pf Changs used to be one of our favorite restaurants but we are very disappointed.

I would like to start by saying this review is about the service not the food. Our food was good and the desert was delicious. Our server, Maggie, was rude. Every question we asked her about the menu she replied with a snappy response and seemed annoyed that we were asking questions. Our busser David was very friendly and helped with refills several times as we couldn't find Maggie for refills.

Our waiter was excellent and the food here was better than our local PF changs. Avoid the high prices and stop by for happy hour or do the $40 dinner for two...it really is a good deal if you both like shrimp dishes. Walking distance from some condos and apartments as well as Gallery One Hotel.

Our family had an amazing dining experience at PF Changs. We had deliciously prepared Mongolian beef, Pad Thai, Spicy chicken, and shrimp with lobster sauce. All of these dishes were very carefully crafted and extremely tasty with the added optional sauces. We especially enjoyed the most delightful service from our most pleasant waitress, Tracy, who served us very well and complemented our overall positive dining experience. Under no circumstances should you ever consider dining out at the less popular Jade Palace across the street because the maître d' there is very sullen and the food is not at all tasty.

It is no secret that I love me some PF Changs, so when I saw this one close to my hotel I packed up my travel companions and made it to the restaurant. We were a group of 7 and the wait on a Friday night was 45 minutes. We just went shopping around the Galleria. Forty five minutes later we came back and the host told me a story of how she did not know how much longer we had to wait... I looked at her incredulously, but just gave her the benefit of the doubt. The second time it happened I asked for her manager, If you cant do your job.. then you shouldn't be standing there looking incompetent. We were seated within 5 minutes. It was going to get ugly in there, but thankfully it didn't. The food was good and the service from the waiter was good also. I guess just make sure you reach an understand with the host. Don't get me wrong, I understand you are really busy, but you either know what you are doing or you don't... in this case it seemed to be the latter. This situation almost made this a 2 star review.

Why am I writing a review for a chain restaurant? The whole point of a brand is to deliver a consistent experience in multiple locations. You're in a new city, you're craving chinese food and you know PF Changs will deliver the experience and quality you want. But I wanted to give them a shout for a couple of reasons. #1 They are doing social media right! A friend and I are looking for a place to see a show for chinese new year. He tweets me and asks about PF Changs. Within an hour or so, we get a response to come check out their red envelope promo event next week. Nice job social media manager! #2 Their calamari is awesome I love when restaurants put a spin on this appetizer favorite. Side note: If you haven't had the Thai version at Legal Seafood - go now. I had never had calamari here and i am so happy I tried it. The light tempura is an interesting twist but the SAUCE is to die for. #3 The bartenders are awesome I have a friend who comes for happy hour once a week because he loves the service so much. That's a great testament to a place located in a mall where servers might be tempted to treat everyone like a tourist transient. #4 Happy Hour Pricing Even though they only do it during the week, you can get great "appies" and cocktails at a phenomenal price. The caveat is that you have to do it early. I wish they would extend it to weekends because that's about the ONLY time I hit happy hour at 3p.

This is my absolute favorite chain food restaurant. I have NEVER been disappointed in a P.F. Chang's. And i must say that this particular PF is the best of every PF's i have tried. We're not chain fans but there are a few like PF Chang's that we like in general. However, this one seems very small. The bar is off the side in the back. It's all a bit strange. Went this past weekend with a group of 12 to celebrate a friends and it was pretty empty which is weird for a PF Chang's. The good part of empty is that they can easily sit a party of 12 even if part of the crew got there 45 minutes late. The food was typical and consistent of any PF Chang's so that was good. The service however wasn't great. My wife's dish was Kung Pao Shrimp and they brought chicken. Rather than asking no questions and just firing up another dish it took a while for them to sort it out. With a big group that stinks as everyone wanted to wait for her to get her dish. They did leave the chicken dish behind which was a nice make-up. I would say this location is an average to below avg PF Chang's.

After coming to this location twice, I totally believe this is one of the greatest P.F. Chang's I've been to. The service is amazing, our last server was Mary Ellen and she was helpful and very knowledgeable. She asked the cooks for a sample of a dish we were interested in and the sous-chef Jonathan came out with a FULL dish of the Flaming Red Wontons. We were so grateful for their generosity. We don't ever go to a chain restaurant and get this kind of service. Onto the food and drinks: I've had the PF-X and their Cosmopolitan and both are well made and extremely good. You just can't beat their happy hour offerings. We love steamed dumplings and have tried the bacon and egg, pork, pork and leak, and the pork and shrimp dumplings and they all have been extremely tasty. My favorite it is the pork and shrimp: the sweetness of the shrimp is balanced with the robust flavors from the pork! Delicious! My boyfriend's favorite is the pork. The complimentary Flaming Red Wontons totally lived up to their spicy name. They were the perfect intensity of heat. Not too weak and not too overwhelming and makes you cry. The other thing we love here is the chicken lettuce wraps. They're just so light and refreshing: the hearty chicken mixture wrapped in that crisp, fresh lettuce wraps is a perfect summer meal. The one thing that was a bit off is that their brown rice tends to be a little bit dry, but I still love the wheat-y flavor it has.

This review goes to show that, not only food determines the experience of a restaurant goer, but as well as the service that is provided. In today's age where us "foodies" can share our experience I am appalled that certain restaurant chains don't provide at least good customer service at best. So here is my rant... I went to PF Chang's in Galleria Mall on my lunch break. I went on a recommendation of a co-worker because not just one but various co-workers had stated to me that they offer our employees a nice discount and to make sure to ask for it. Long story made short I was denied the request when I asked for the bill. So I paid my full price bill and asked to speak to the manager. I did this because I wanted to express my disappointment of being denied the discount that (I know for a fact) all my other colleagues had received. His response at first was to deny that they don't EVER give discounts to anyone. When I told him that I had a receipt that showed a discount my co-worker had received, he asked me where I worked. He then changed his answer to, "oh well yes I have given discounts to those employees, however it is up to our discretion." Everyone I have told this story to finds this response borderline discrimination. One friend went as far as comparing it to the Arizona state law that did NOT pass where a business could have denied service to a customer depending on their religion, sexual orientation etc. Obviously this situation is not as severe, but I had to write this review based on the passionate responses from my social network followers/friends and they all urged me to take action. As for the food, it is really good. But the bad service leaves a bad taste in your mouth for a long time.

Adventured outside of the usual 39.95 dinner for two blah blah blah... Tried the Seared Ahi Tuna and it fresh tasting and the little salad with thinly sliced cucumbers was really tasty and fresh (I paired it with a White Oregon Blend.... ). I have been to other P.F. Chang locations and the food is usually the same at every location so the service is usually what the rating comes down to. I had the honey glazed chicken which was very yummy. Our waiter was funny and friendly and managed to refill drinks without you even realizing he had done it. These are now in almost every city and when you go you pretty much know what you're going to get. The spicy chicken is still my all-time fave and it didn't disappoint. The service was great...in a packed restaurant we were greeted immediately and served quickly. I expected more of a wait for our food and the waters were refilled regularly (as were the beers). It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and will be back.

We were on our way to try a local restaurant but it was unfortunately closed for the day, posted reason: 'summer hours'. We always choose locally owned locations over chains however we were already quite hungry so went to PF Chang's on Sunrise, it was on our way. It's a chain restaurant so expect it to be such, nevertheless, it is better service and better quality food preparation than going to some of the other chain restaurants. When your server tells you the food is spicy, it is (of course, only if you're not accustomed to eating spicy food, otherwise, you will enjoy it like we did). If it's your first time going to the restaurant, let them know when you walk in, you will receive a survey card and receive a $10 off coupon for your next visit. Parking is located by the mall, free, you will walk just a little distance, but that's always good.

I'll be honest. I go to PF Chang's for 2 reasons: the Mongolian beef and the chicken lettuce wraps. However, PF Chang's China Bistro does several dishes exceptionally well. Expect a dimly lit ambience complete with real napkins and cutlery. You won't break the bank eating at this establishment either. For $25 to $30 you can have a nice dinner served to you by a friendly and courteous waiter. They have a good wine selection and are very accommodating when it comes to allergies. In fact, on my last visit the general manager came to my table when I mentioned being allergic to shelled fish. He was concerned that the oyster sauce they use in the Mongolian beef would cause a reaction. I told him that it never had before and that I would take full responsibility should a freak reaction occur during my meal. Of course, I devoured all of the scrumptious Mongolian beef on my plate without incident. I've also had my friends order the orange chicken and the smoked lamb so I could give these dishes a try. They are every bit as delicious! PF Chang's is an awesome chain and their service and food has been consistently good regardless of the location I've chosen to visit.

It had been a while since I'd been to PF Changs, so I was happy when a rescue group I work with suggested a lunchtime meeting here. We were one of THOSE tables - there were supposed to be like 15 of us and it was only 5, but hell, we were nice and I always tip well. :) The food was just eh compared to what I remembered. Had the tofu lettuce wraps, which were good, but could have used a different, sweeter sauce. The coconut curry veggies were ok, could definitely have used more sauce and more tofu. But the flavor was delicious. Server was super friendly, so extra stars for her efforts. I'd come back here and try some other items, but this time around was rather unimpressive.

I wasn't in the mood to venture out to something new and unfamiliar and it's location was ideal to where I was at the time. I am normally not a fan of Chinese food, because I find that it generally is too greasy or salty for my taste. But this popular Americanized chain restaurant has always been an exception. No matter which city, "PF Changs" is usually crowded w/ families and big groups. The attractive interior /exterior design is warm with the familar Asian decor. Despite the normal long waiting list for a table, one can usually find open seats at the stimulating bar. I had the seared ahi and spicy green beans which was delicious. And their their chicken lettuce wraps has always been an all-time favorite. It's times like these, that placate the thought of "ugh.. a chain restaurant"... which makes the overall dining experience worthwhile and comfortable.

Went here for my boyfriends birthday, food was decent, i had a vegetarian dish, my boyfriend had duck and said it was pretty good as well. Spent a day in Ft.Lauderdale before boarding our cruise. Went to Sawgrass Outlet and thought we would try this restuarsnt. Beautiful decor. We decided to sit outside at their patio. I got the seabass which was so moist and fresh. On a bed of greens. So good! My husband tried their shrimps and we both had thier special fried rice. Food was great and so was their service was great. I have yet to go to the one in Toronto but happy there is one here. I will probably be going back to this location next year... again before our cruise.

In town for the night, I wanted to go to the mall for something right around dinnertime. My uber dropped me off at the valet, which was right next to the P.F. Chang's. After my shopping was done and tummies started to grumble, I remembered P.F. Chang's and headed that way. On the way I called and asked if there was a wait. There was.. 20 minutes or so the host said. I asked if I could put my name on the list for call ahead seating and was told they didn't do that. Oh well.. worth a try. We headed over and put our name in, and were seated within just a couple of minutes. Our server came over pretty quickly and told us about the happy hour specials, so we placed an order of crispy green beans before the special ended. Typically I see smaller portions for happy hour, but not this time. There were a lot more than we expected, and we only ate about 2/3 of them to save room for our meals. I ordered a vegetarian dish, which came with brown or white rice. Trying to upgrade to fried rice failed, and it took me a minute to realize the menu I was looking at was the lunch menu when they DO allow you to upgrade. Oh well, I suppose I didn't need the fried rice and ended up with brown instead, which was still wonderful. This was a solid 4-star experience, both in terms of the service and the food. The restaurant itself was probably a 3-star, simply because it was freezing inside (and I don't get cold easily) and the layout of the dining room seemed a little cramped.

First time at this location. Did not dine in, ordered on site (not in advance) and waited for food. Great location at the end of the mall near the food court. Both valet parking and drop off located right in front of the entrance. It was not a too busy night, but it seemed to take awhile for my food to come out. That said, the take - out server (at the take - out desk) gave GREAT service. Hats off to Tonya. She knew I was waiting... When I first arrived she let me know that she would get to me once she was done with the previous customer, then let me know she would help me when I had decided on my choices. To top it off, she let me know that my food was up next (cue fairly decent wait), and then was extremely pleasant as she rang me up, offering all the sauces and utensils. Fantastic.

This used to be a GREAT place to get a light lunch during a shopping trip to the Galleria, however BEWARE!!! The lunch menu and specials are no longer offered!! If you want a small lunch avoid this place!! There are many good and reasonably priced options in the mall and in the area as well. I don't know which genius at PF Chang's came up with the idea to eliminate serving lunch at lunchtime, but I'm sure it is all about greed and stupidity. Six of us went for their rice bowl lunch on Saturday. We were seated and given menus. We inquired about the lunch specials and said they are no longer offered at lunch time!!! How screwed up is that?? It was not a problem, we left and went elsewhere. I suspect that is going to happen more and more often as people realize the corporate management has no brain and driven by greed!!

Great food! A little pricy per person & they put more of a portion on the plate than one person can (or should) possibly eat. It's a very big menu, & it takes a while to read thru it to decide what you want. I was in a group of 7 people, & also one of 3 of those people who enjoys using chopsticks. They supply plenty of chopsticks for everyone, plus a few extras. And the chopsticks are also more durable/reusable plastic rather than the usual wooden ones you have to split before use, that splinters in your mouth or all over the place if the initial break doesn't go right. I think the middle of the menu listed the vegetarian-friendly options, & I know I had one of those that was in the $11-12 range. I don't remember what it was called, it had the word "coconut" in the title, & "vegetables". But it was delicious!

I came here for lunch on a whim and it ended up being happy hour! Awesome! So pretty much around $5 for beers and $5-7 for wine I believe. Not bad at all. I'm sorry, I have no recollection on what time it was but I'd look up happy hour if you're interested. I just know that the lunch specials ended at 4pm. Anyways, my friend purchased the sweet and sour lunch chicken with brown rice and I had the beef and broccoli with white rice. They had "Crab wontons" aka Crab Rangoon for $5 for Happy Hour! The Sweet & Sour chicken was great and the brown rice was surprisingly good, cooked fresh. I suspect it was cooked fresh because not a lot of people order brown rice for lunch, so they had to make it to order. My meal on the other hand was disappointing. The beef and broccoli were okay, but my rice was very stale and hard. I politely informed the waitress and she was very quick, apologetic and professional about apologizing and changing it out, so service was A-OK. After a while, my friend did find a small hair in his food, but we weren't sure if it could've just been his or not, so, not wanting to cause anymore disturbance, we just kept quiet. The lunch portions did also come with soup or salad. We chose the dumpling soup, which was okay as well. The highlight was definitely the crab rangoon! If you've never had it, you can definitely tell it was made fresh and was the best, but considering it was only an appetizer, it's unfortunate that it overshadowed the main courses. I gave it 2 stars considering how expensive it is for the actual quality of the food. Although the hair in food is still questionable, the stale rice at an Asian specialty restaurant turned me off. I know it's lunch prices ($10-15) over dinner ($15+) but it is still pricey for the quality. I can understand if the chicken flavoring was not to my liking but rice is very basic and hard to mess up. I'm a 20-something college student and even I can cook better rice. It also did not seem up to par with the cleanliness. The soup and beef and broccoli were okay, but comparable to chinese take out, which is why I also rated low. For the same quality, possibly better, I could order take out from a good and much cheaper Chinese restaurant alternative. Maybe it's not fair to rate 2/5 but I guess the expectations for P.F. Changs were not met as it is often compared and priced to restaurants similar to the Cheesecake Factory, etc. Anyways, as I usually encourage in my reviews, unless they are absolutely horrendous, go see for yourself and decide. My experience could have been a hit or a miss. It was definitely a "meh" experience.

What a FUN evening! Stopped by on a Tuesday night at 6:30 without a reservation. There was plenty of dining room seating and room at the bar. We choose the bar. The manager, Nick, was very friendly and enthusiastic. We were welcomed by the bartender who has been there since it opened.....a real professional, she was quick , friendly and accurate. She told us we had a half hour left to happy hour and we ordered our drinks and food. We ordered Orange Chili Edamame, Pan Fried Dumplings, and Spicy Chicken Soup. It was more than enough fluid for the two of us and it was hot and delicious. The drinks were cold and very fairly priced. The conversation at the bar was fun. As avid Changs fans, we come here at least twice every time we visit Ft. Lauderdale (lunch and dinner). Great location nice outdoor seating, but the bar area (where you all know I like to sit) seems like it could use a little TLC. More times than not the bartenders seem stressed. Sometimes to where you almost feel bad asking for anything else. The bar area is small compared to most locations, so it is puzzling why. I have to say when they seem to be having an easier day they are accommodating and it is an enjoyable visit.

I've only been here a few times for happy hour, so I will just review that. The place is nice and service is usually good but every once in a while a bit lacking. The food is good, but the portion quantity lessons as the happy hour goes on, which I find a bit tacky.

Review is based on one visit for two. ... It was a Saturday night. They were busy. We sat at the bar and ordered an organic wine and a minute later we were called - even though they said it would be 20 minutes or more... We got seated outside - awesome and were promptly given menus and water. Our waiter was efficient, the food was very good, and the portions were generous. My sister never ate at PFC before and really enjoyed the meal. An appetizer and entree totaled $40 before tax and tip -- the 2 glasses of wine were about $16.

My girlfriend and I are regular diners here at PF Chang for a long time. Most of time their service is consistent . The reason they lost a star is they served us a very dry brown rice. If it was not an Asian restaurant , I could forgive them but this is an Asian restaurant and for Asian rice is very important . I wouldn't even that to eat home nor would serve to my guest if I had guest at home. Also, their food is too salty in general , but overall, this is one of good Chinese restaurant .

I'm going to be quick here. This was a 2 star experience with 3 star food and a 4 star server. Unfortunately, the experience trumps all else this time because of how ridiculous it was. We got here at 5pm on a Friday and had to wait for a seat. That in-itself is fine, but we shouldn't really have to wait when we see a good 5 open tables! And the open tables were not in a closed section, nor were they 4-tops or 6-tops, they were 2-tops. So, we ended up waiting a good 10-15 minutes. Also, there were four, count them my Cookie Monster friends, FOUR people at the hostess desk and it still took like 5 minutes with 2 groups of 3 in front of us for us to put our name down. What on Earth are FOUR people doing at a hostess desk? I know, nothing. There was only one girl taking reservations. Holy Jeez Louis! During our wait I heard the following. Gentleman: Hi, our party of four is here for 5:15 Lady at desk: We're asking that if you have a reservation that you give us 10-15 more minutes. My lord. They're asking people who have a reservation for a specific time to wait! This is horrible and unacceptable customer service. Like all PFChang's, small menu. We got the egg-rolls and Lettuce Wrap along with the Pad Thai. for $2, we upgraded the Pad Thai to extra Chicken and for $2 more we got fried tofu. The reason for the 3 star food: 1) The fried tofu was mushy - fried should mean firm, not soft 2) There should have been more noodles Our server was great, the receipt said Audrey, so if that was really her, she's awesome. She was quick to "be on our side", by putting in orders into the kitchen soon, filling up water (don't ask, I agree, there should have been people besides our server filling up water!), giving her opinion, making our meal more enjoyable. Long story short: Decent food, with some flaws. Unacceptable hostess station work. Try and get Audrey as your server. Look, if you want better food, with more variety and only a few steps away, go to Cheesecake Factory. There's a wait there, but it's for a reason!

I love PF Changs dishes! My favorites usually are curry vegetables, Singapore street noodles, won ton soup, garlic shrimp dish, lettuce wrap, and many others. And my husband and I absolutely love their New York Cheesecake that comes with the most delicious freshly minced raspberry sauce. But this location made me disappointed. First, we ordered chicken noodle soup that had horrible huge (looking like white worms) noodles in it that tasted like flour and filled up 1/3 of the bowl. Second, Singapore street noodles were not soft enough, they were a bit crunchy, half cooked. And then our favorite raspberry sauce tasted like jam. I asked the waiter if they changed the recipe but he had no clue what Im talking about. So I still love PF Changs just not this location.

This has got to be the worst PF Changs in South Florida! We came in on Saturday night for an 8:30 reservation (seated around 8:45) when the place was not busy at all... Especially compared to the North Miami Beach and Sawgrass locations. They were out of Stella beer and pork dumplings. Our server Jeff was extremely disinterested, like we were bothering him to do his job. Barely an apology for being out of the things we wanted. The food tasted off. If you're at the Galleria eat somewhere else! I love PF Changs in general and this was just disappointing.
When in doubt eat at PF Chang's you will NEVER be disappointed. I eat the spicy eggplant with brown rice every single time. When I want to splurge I get the salted caramel cake.

We arrived during the dinner rush with our 2 year old. Rather than wait for a table we sat at the bar immediately. The service was amazing and the food was excellent and quick. Jennifer and Nikki were hilarious bar tenders who were friendly, personable and extremely efficient and professional. Loved it.

We are locals to Fort Lauderdale. Nicky at the bar is the best. Service is always great but, she really makes the place. Her witty humor and great personality makes it a great hang out for a Sunday. I go to PF Chang's on a regular basis and this location in Fort Lauderdale by the Galleria Mall is by far the worst location I have been to. The plates and silverware were dirty with old dried food and the food was so inconsistent from all of my other experiences at PF Changs- the food came out messy and tasted horrible. I was so surprised as I always order the same things at every PF Changs and at this location those same dishes tasted gross. I had to send 1 item back. If you're like me and usually love PF Changs, go to a different location- not this one in Fort Lauderdale!! Horrible service and disappointed in the food here!

P. F. Chang is a chain so it is supposed to consistently provide the same food and the same environment at multiple locations. From the number I have been at, they do a good job of that and this location is no exception. The interior of this location, however, generally seems more dimly lit than most and in some areas it's nice to have a flashlight. As for the food, you can't go wrong on the fact that it is good though it is basically an American interpretation of what Chinese food should be and what Chinese food should taste like. So, you really don't go here looking for authentic Chinese, which isn't to say that a vast number of people wouldn't rather have an interpretation of Chinese rather than the real thing for a number reasons which to me would be very valid. This location also seems to be a gather for large groups and indeed I came with a group of 22. So, though the service was good and adequate it was slow. I order a martini up, which by the time it got to me was barely below room temperature but for me warm gin is better than no gin, so I made do. I also had the Sichuan Shrimp which I found to in fact be tasty, good, and spicy as they said it would be, perfectly prepared and properly presented though nothing exceptional. As for the price, I found it to be reasonable though more than I would pay in most restaurants that are in fact authentic Chinese. Over all it's a place where you really can't go wrong but also a place where really won't find anything exceptional either.

By far one of the best experiences I've had at Pf Chang's. it is one of my favorite restaurants and usually the service is ok nothing major but today our server has been amazing great energy not in a rush to get all the orders in great suggestions and very knowledgable of what he is suggesting for us Daniel is definitely worth a great five star review!

This P.F. Changs needs some serious customer service training on how to treat their warrior rewards members. I wouldn't recommend going to this location anytime soon. However, the general manager did apologize for the bad experience, and went out of his way to call me personally, but they need a lot of work on their communication skills with customers and internally among their employees. I'm really hoping they can turn this place around because it's in a great location with a beautiful atmosphere. Just wish the servers were properly trained and more knowledgable about their rewards program and how to have good customer service.

It is a chain - the food is predictably above average - but the service I had in the dining room at this particular location was not as good as service I have had at other locations of PF Chang's. The bar service, however, was excellent both times I've stopped by for happy hour during the week. I will be back!

This location really needs to get their act together. The food was great so no complaints in that department. But we had the following issues: - Were told there would be a 10-15 min wait when 2/3 of the tables inside and outside were empty. Stop the show and just seat us, seriously. - Attempted to order our cocktails at the bar during our wait, after 10 min our table was ready (that was really ready the whole time) and cocktails hadn't been started - At least 5 additional min later the cocktails finally arrive at the table. (Agave Margarita = Delicious) - We placed our order with our very nice waitress. We ordered lunch specials that came with soup. 10 min later our orders arrived and we never got our soup. Then our soup came out a few min later. - The tables around us were having a hard time getting what they asked for and we heard people becoming frustrated with the service. The whole time it just seemed disorganized and poorly managed. If it weren't for the food and drinks that are necessary in the middle of a marathon shopping day, I wouldn't come back. But the food was really good and the lunch menu prices can't be beat. Hopefully next time will be a better experience.

I'm Chinese. I even share last names with this place. That's not going to stop me from giving this glorified panda express 1 star. For some reason, my mom loves eating at P.F. Chang's. I've literally dined at this establishment over 20 times, from NC to VA to CA. Strangely enough, the best tasting branch we've been to is in Milwaukee. Anyway, usually the dishes are innocuous, but the food at this branch is horrible! I mean, the chicken noodle soup (a staple in our dining list because my mom swears it tastes exactly like a Taiwanese dish called bi tai bah) tasted NOTHING like the other branches we've been to. It only had a few sad pieces of wilted cilantro, dry chicken, and the smallest, ugliest, bruised pieces of mushrooms. Even my mom, who usually inhales this soup as if it were the last drop of water in a desert oasis, refused to drink more than a few spoonfuls. Oh and the sauteed mushrooms, which are usually delicious in ANY culture, were burnt and swimming in a greasy, watery mess. One last gripe I have about this particular location is the bathrooms. Instead of having toilet paper holders built into the wall, they have these flimsy metal stands that each hold a single roll of tp. Said stand is placed very strategically right in front of the toilet. I swung open the door, knocked over the stand, and watched in horror as the entire roll slid neatly into the open bowl with a plop. I fished it out before the top part got soaked but that didn't make the incident any less gross :( Skip this location, go to the boca one or ANY other for 3.5 star food. Growing up Asian in California, it's hard to compare PF Chang's to any of the more authentic options dotting the West coast. However, compared to other PF Chang's locations, this one seems to be lacking the energy and (limited) charm of other locations, not helped by inconsistent lighting that created awkward dark spots. The food is typical Americanized Chinese - saucy, salty, and lacking a punch. Most disappointing though, was the specialty dish I ordered - dubbed "Mandarin Chicken". It was a saucy, stir-fried mess - uninspired with bland stir-fried chicken and veggies blended with a weak sweet and sour sauce. Honestly, did they dump this dish out of a freezer bag labeled Wanchai Ferry? Other dishes such as the lettuce wraps and honey walnut shrimp were definitely more palatable. Overall, the service was decent, and PF Chang's will satisfy a craving for Chinese. But don't expect anything remotely stellar that compares to more authentic options.

We had a very nice dinner here, did the $39.95 special for 2 and found it to be a well cooked, flavorful and enjoyable meal. The server stopped by 10 seconds after the food came to ask how it was, then we had to track him down later for refills. Overall nice dinner and we will be back. Definitely a much better meal than the average Chinese take out.

I've been to PF Changs (this particular one) more times than I can count. It seems to always be the place for birthdays or other special occasions - but I've also been there on multiple other occasions as well. After my 100th trip to PF Changs and venturing out to other Asian/Fusion restaurants such as Chows, Asia Di Cuba and others my enjoyment for Changs dwindled. Hope was restored this past weekend as I went with a small group of friends. The chain restaurant started doing a "dinner for two menu". It is supposedly only lasting for a limited time but hopefully they will keep it. This menu has restored my faith. You get choice of 2 soups, 1 app from a choice of about 8 (including their chicken lettuce wraps!), 2 full size entrees, and choice of a mini desserts for 39.00. I chose the sweet and sour soup ( i dint recommend), then we got the chicken lettuce wraps, beef and broccoli and Changs chicken. For dessert i got the mini red velvet cake and my partner in crime for the night got the chocolate cake. The other duo received the egg noodle soup and the sweet and sour soup, pork dumplings for the app, beef and broccoli and spicy chicken for their entrees..i believe they got the smores dessert and a tiramasu... either way we were all very happy and could not have eaten another bite by the time we left. I will definitely be making a return...once my pants button again

Avoid this pf changs if possible. This was the worst one i have visited. I ordered a vegetarian mapo tofu dish because it mentioned it was silken tofu which usually refers to soft tofu which is also the traditional chinese way and when I got it, it was with braised fried tofu. So, ok, not the Chinese way but that's fine, it's a very Americanized Chinese restaurant so not a big deal. Then I asked if I could have it soft and the manager had a minor hernia trying to accommodate that request. It seemed like such an ordeal to change it to soft tofu. It seemed like I was offending him by wanting to eat soft tofu. He kept trying to convince me that deep fried tofu is the only way to cook it and said he would put the sauce and chicken on the side because it won't cook well in the pan. I said it was ok and if it's bad I won't complain about it because it's a special request and it would be my fault but that's how I like it...the traditional way...he said it would be like jello and I'm not going to like it...buddy, I get what you're saying but can I just have my mapo tofu? I'm hungry. After about 4 -5 times of trying to convince me otherwise in a slightly demeaning manner, I sternly said, "look, my family is chinese, I've had this my whole life. I like the tofu soft please." finally he said ok, it'll be done in a few minutes and hung up. Jfkvjdkdi!!! I showed up and waited for my order which took a long time. A simple Togo order which should have been quick since I needed to get Back to my hotel to do work took more time to do than it would have to have dined in. The whole ordeal "ate up" around an hour. The Togo lady was nice the whole time but the Asian manager was not. Maybe they just Dont understand chinese food in florida...maybe...Unless they change management, avoid this of changs or just hope you don't need any special requests, like ever...and maybe it'll be fine. I will never return to this pf changs.

Date Visited: Friday 5/1/09 (Dinner) Don't get me wrong - I am a fan of PF Chang's and I really want to give this restaurant more stars, but there were a few issues with our visit this particular night. PF Chang's is located on the far end of the Galleria Mall garage parking (or we just simply parked in the wrong place), so while it was nice to stop in shops on the way back from dinner, it was kind of a pain to walk through it to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is detached from the mall (no entrance from inside the mall), just so ya know. Being Ft. Lauderdale, we decided to sit outside on their patio. After the previous night's dinner where we ate like pigs, we decided on only one appetizer. We got the vegetarian lettuce wraps. Even my father likes these! I was a little miffed that our waiter didn't make the sauce at the very beginning, like they're supposed to do and have done for every other visit I've ever made. The guy who brought out the lettuce made it for us. We ordered and started to eat the appetizers and chat. I've lived in California and Oregon for the past 25 years of my life, so I had a very disturbing hit into reality of other states. You can smoke in the patio area! I know smoking sections exist and I know you can't do anything about someone who walks by while smoking, but to sit where you want on the patio and smoke among non-smokers is just too much. It really wouldn't have mattered if it was the best Ma Po Tofu I've ever had in my life (and it was better than most because they didn't try to make it so hot that I couldn't feel my tongue anymore), the smoker sitting by us ruined everything.

Standard Americanized versions of Chinese food. Don't get me wrong I like the food and the drinks are great too, but authentic it is not. This particular location has better service than most. Their outside patio is nice. Even though it faces the street, there is a privacy screen that really makes a difference. Given that this one is at a mall, parking can be a hassle.

The food at this place was inedible because of the salt. The waiter kept discounting my complaints, saying, "It's a matter of taste." TASTE? I've never tried to eat such salty food. And I LOVE salt on my food. The pork dumplings were greasy and pathetic. Both entrees that I tried were inedible. How anyone can like this chain is beyond me. It just goes to show how ignorant Americans are about good food. The only review I should have read and "heard" was the one by a Chinese guy who gave only one star because he couldn't give minus stars...I"m afraid that's what will happen to me here. Pathetic, expensive, snotty waiter, horrible excuse for a restaurant. I will never darken their door again!

We finally tried P F Changs, it has been open for about 4 months and since it is very close to our home...why not... Some things that are good...they accepted our reservation for 2 and gave a conformation number, (which they couldn't find when we got there, but did give us a booth as requested right away) The interoir atmosphere is exceptionally nice Our waiter was only semi professional...we told him we were not in a hurry (we do not like to be in and out in 30 minutes), mistake.... When we did get our food..spring rolls, very good, Steamed dumplings were good but cold when they were served, ..our Orange Peel Chicken very good. Plates were not removed from the table promptly, ...were we supposed to use the spring roll plates for our dumplings?...and when they were removed they were left on a tray right next to the table... Overall I give P F Changs a 6...(room for a lot of improvement)

Because there are no decent Chinese restaurants in South Florida, PF Chang's is as good as it gets. I've never had a bad meal there, even on busy weekends, but even on a less-busy day, service can be slow. Not good when you're with a hungry child who's dying for lettuce wraps. Restaurant is crammed with tables and banquette-style seating, so if you're disabled, physically impaired, or have kids with tiny bladders, you'll have issues getting around to go to the bathroom. The sizable appetizer menu is great for kids because of the smaller portions, but there are no kid-friendly alternatives to the Asian fare (e.g., no hamburgers or chicken fingers). If you bring kids, make sure they can handle themselves in public and have a semi-adventurous palate. Or at least bring a good lunchbox meal from home. Ambient noise level can be high on busy nights. If you want to have intimate conversations with your dinner partner, sit close together at one of the banquette tables; else you'll be shouting at each other the whole time.

You can't go wrong with the chicken lettuce wraps to start. Really fresh crisp lettuce heads and warm, tender chicken. Enough to share, but the pork dumplings are good as well. Mongolian beef and orange peel beef are good entrees. The Mongolian beef is tender while the orange peel beef is nice and crispy. Some good lamb dishes as well. You don't see that too often at Chinese restaurants. For dessert, the flourless chocolate dome is delicious, and gluten free for those that rely on that. The banana spring rolls with ice cream and caramel is also good.

"one positive thing about chains is you get consistency" my life partner in crime Miriam W is apt to say. However this PF Chang's didn't get that memo. I have to say I find the one in Emeryville, CA to be pleasant and I never mind going at someone's invitation. This one however was an invitation I should have passed up. First the host was on the phone and couldn't eke out a greeting or a a "one minute please" then some other staff, they have so many staff, managed to find me a booth. Eventually another waiter found me and took my order. I kept it simple, they have no Thai Iced Tea, so I stuck with a California Cabernet (the best kind kids) and a Vegetable Coconut Curry. What could go wrong? Thanks for asking. My waiter's next appearance at my table was him showing up with an armful of dirty dishes putting them down on my table and then going "whoa!" and leaving with a laugh but never an apology. Then the wine, good, dependable, full bodied Lohr Cabernet. Then the vegetable curry on one plate with tofu looking blackened and another big bowl of brown rice. Midway through the meal the waiter brought me at plate to combine the two which was okay except that plates were kept right next to my booth and this could have been done right away. The Rice looked like it had something, mmm buggy in it. The vegetables were cooked to the point where you wonder if there is nutritional value left and the tofu. Dammit, why can't people do tofu right? And why does a chain with "China Bistro" in its name get it so horrifyingly wrong.

All I gotta say is 151 & Lo Mein. Yes! The outside patio is situated so that you don't have to worry about foot traffic while you eat. The ambiance is really good. It's a nice place for a first date.

This used to be a GREAT place to get a light lunch during a shopping trip to the Galleria, however BEWARE!!! The lunch menu and specials are no longer offered!! If you want a small lunch avoid this place!! There are many good and reasonably priced options in the mall and in the area as well. I don't know which genius at PF Chang's came up with the idea to eliminate serving lunch at lunchtime, but I'm sure it is all about greed and stupidity. Six of us went for their rice bowl lunch on Saturday. We were seated and given menus. We inquired about the lunch specials and said they are no longer offered at lunch time!!! How screwed up is that?? It was not a problem, we left and went elsewhere. I suspect that is going to happen more and more often as people realize the corporate management has no brain and driven by greed!!

What a FUN evening! Stopped by on a Tuesday night at 6:30 without a reservation. There was plenty of dining room seating and room at the bar. We choose the bar. The manager, Nick, was very friendly and enthusiastic. We were welcomed by the bartender who has been there since it opened.....a real professional, she was quick , friendly and accurate. She told us we had a half hour left to happy hour and we ordered our drinks and food. We ordered Orange Chili Edamame, Pan Fried Dumplings, and Spicy Chicken Soup. It was more than enough fluid for the two of us and it was hot and delicious. The drinks were cold and very fairly priced. The conversation at the bar was fun. Great food! A little pricy per person & they put more of a portion on the plate than one person can (or should) possibly eat. It's a very big menu, & it takes a while to read thru it to decide what you want. I was in a group of 7 people, & also one of 3 of those people who enjoys using chopsticks. They supply plenty of chopsticks for everyone, plus a few extras. And the chopsticks are also more durable/reusable plastic rather than the usual wooden ones you have to split before use, that splinters in your mouth or all over the place if the initial break doesn't go right. I think the middle of the menu listed the vegetarian-friendly options, & I know I had one of those that was in the $11-12 range. I don't remember what it was called, it had the word "coconut" in the title, & "vegetables". But it was delicious!

I came here for lunch on a whim and it ended up being happy hour! Awesome! So pretty much around $5 for beers and $5-7 for wine I believe. Not bad at all. I'm sorry, I have no recollection on what time it was but I'd look up happy hour if you're interested. I just know that the lunch specials ended at 4pm. Anyways, my friend purchased the sweet and sour lunch chicken with brown rice and I had the beef and broccoli with white rice. They had "Crab wontons" aka Crab Rangoon for $5 for Happy Hour! The Sweet & Sour chicken was great and the brown rice was surprisingly good, cooked fresh. I suspect it was cooked fresh because not a lot of people order brown rice for lunch, so they had to make it to order. My meal on the other hand was disappointing. The beef and broccoli were okay, but my rice was very stale and hard. I politely informed the waitress and she was very quick, apologetic and professional about apologizing and changing it out, so service was A-OK. After a while, my friend did find a small hair in his food, but we weren't sure if it could've just been his or not, so, not wanting to cause anymore disturbance, we just kept quiet. The lunch portions did also come with soup or salad. We chose the dumpling soup, which was okay as well. The highlight was definitely the crab rangoon! If you've never had it, you can definitely tell it was made fresh and was the best, but considering it was only an appetizer, it's unfortunate that it overshadowed the main courses. I gave it 2 stars considering how expensive it is for the actual quality of the food. Although the hair in food is still questionable, the stale rice at an Asian specialty restaurant turned me off. I know it's lunch prices ($10-15) over dinner ($15+) but it is still pricey for the quality. I can understand if the chicken flavoring was not to my liking but rice is very basic and hard to mess up. I'm a 20-something college student and even I can cook better rice. It also did not seem up to par with the cleanliness. The soup and beef and broccoli were okay, but comparable to chinese take out, which is why I also rated low. For the same quality, possibly better, I could order take out from a good and much cheaper Chinese restaurant alternative. Maybe it's not fair to rate 2/5 but I guess the expectations for P.F. Changs were not met as it is often compared and priced to restaurants similar to the Cheesecake Factory, etc. Anyways, as I usually encourage in my reviews, unless they are absolutely horrendous, go see for yourself and decide. My experience could have been a hit or a miss. It was definitely a "meh" experience.

As avid Changs fans, we come here at least twice every time we visit Ft. Lauderdale (lunch and dinner). Great location nice outdoor seating, but the bar area (where you all know I like to sit) seems like it could use a little TLC. More times than not the bartenders seem stressed. Sometimes to where you almost feel bad asking for anything else. The bar area is small compared to most locations, so it is puzzling why. I have to say when they seem to be having an easier day they are accommodating and it is an enjoyable visit.

Review is based on one visit for two. ... It was a Saturday night. They were busy. We sat at the bar and ordered an organic wine and a minute later we were called - even though they said it would be 20 minutes or more... We got seated outside - awesome and were promptly given menus and water. Our waiter was efficient, the food was very good, and the portions were generous. My sister never ate at PFC before and really enjoyed the meal. An appetizer and entree totaled $40 before tax and tip -- the 2 glasses of wine were about $16.

I'm going to be quick here. This was a 2 star experience with 3 star food and a 4 star server. Unfortunately, the experience trumps all else this time because of how ridiculous it was. We got here at 5pm on a Friday and had to wait for a seat. That in-itself is fine, but we shouldn't really have to wait when we see a good 5 open tables! And the open tables were not in a closed section, nor were they 4-tops or 6-tops, they were 2-tops. So, we ended up waiting a good 10-15 minutes. Also, there were four, count them my Cookie Monster friends, FOUR people at the hostess desk and it still took like 5 minutes with 2 groups of 3 in front of us for us to put our name down. What on Earth are FOUR people doing at a hostess desk? I know, nothing. There was only one girl taking reservations. Holy Jeez Louis! During our wait I heard the following. Gentleman: Hi, our party of four is here for 5:15 Lady at desk: We're asking that if you have a reservation that you give us 10-15 more minutes. My lord. They're asking people who have a reservation for a specific time to wait! This is horrible and unacceptable customer service. Like all PFChang's, small menu. We got the egg-rolls and Lettuce Wrap along with the Pad Thai. for $2, we upgraded the Pad Thai to extra Chicken and for $2 more we got fried tofu. The reason for the 3 star food: 1) The fried tofu was mushy - fried should mean firm, not soft 2) There should have been more noodles Our server was great, the receipt said Audrey, so if that was really her, she's awesome. She was quick to "be on our side", by putting in orders into the kitchen soon, filling up water (don't ask, I agree, there should have been people besides our server filling up water!), giving her opinion, making our meal more enjoyable. Long story short: Decent food, with some flaws. Unacceptable hostess station work. Try and get Audrey as your server. Look, if you want better food, with more variety and only a few steps away, go to Cheesecake Factory. There's a wait there, but it's for a reason!

I love PF Changs dishes! My favorites usually are curry vegetables, Singapore street noodles, won ton soup, garlic shrimp dish, lettuce wrap, and many others. And my husband and I absolutely love their New York Cheesecake that comes with the most delicious freshly minced raspberry sauce. But this location made me disappointed. First, we ordered chicken noodle soup that had horrible huge (looking like white worms) noodles in it that tasted like flour and filled up 1/3 of the bowl. Second, Singapore street noodles were not soft enough, they were a bit crunchy, half cooked. And then our favorite raspberry sauce tasted like jam. I asked the waiter if they changed the recipe but he had no clue what Im talking about. So I still love PF Changs just not this location.

This has got to be the worst PF Changs in South Florida! We came in on Saturday night for an 8:30 reservation (seated around 8:45) when the place was not busy at all... Especially compared to the North Miami Beach and Sawgrass locations. They were out of Stella beer and pork dumplings. My girlfriend and I are regular diners here at PF Chang for a long time. Most of time their service is consistent . The reason they lost a star is they served us a very dry brown rice. If it was not an Asian restaurant , I could forgive them but this is an Asian restaurant and for Asian rice is very important . I wouldn't even that to eat home nor would serve to my guest if I had guest at home. Also, their food is too salty in general , but overall, this is one of good Chinese restaurant .

Pf changs had always been a great place to eat my fiancé and I usually get the 2 for 40.00 we order the famous changs spicy chicken which is ( amazing!!!) and start off with their chicken lettuce wraps and egg drop soup mmmm yumm!! And they are always consistent in flavor! But here's we're it's makes it special my fiancé flew me up to NY for my first time in November2014 he Proposed to me under the Christmas tree in time square it was remarkable we ended up walking hand in hand to the nearest restaurant (pf changs) sat down and we told the server we just got engaged just a few minutes ago she made or experience the most memorable experience ever!! The manager Came over and treated us with not one but two huge desserts and in raspberry writing was congratulation to Lindsey and Francisco!! We felt so heart warmed by all the love and good food and just a wonderful place even though the location I am talking about in is Ny we are regulars at this place too!!! I go to PF Chang's on a regular basis and this location in Fort Lauderdale by the Galleria Mall is by far the worst location I have been to. The plates and silverware were dirty with old dried food and the food was so inconsistent from all of my other experiences at PF Changs- the food came out messy and tasted horrible. I was so surprised as I always order the same things at every PF Changs and at this location those same dishes tasted gross. I had to send 1 item back. If you're like me and usually love PF Changs, go to a different location- not this one in Fort Lauderdale!! Horrible service and disappointed in the food here!

P. F. Chang is a chain so it is supposed to consistently provide the same food and the same environment at multiple locations. From the number I have been at, they do a good job of that and this location is no exception. The interior of this location, however, generally seems more dimly lit than most and in some areas it's nice to have a flashlight. As for the food, you can't go wrong on the fact that it is good though it is basically an American interpretation of what Chinese food should be and what Chinese food should taste like. So, you really don't go here looking for authentic Chinese, which isn't to say that a vast number of people wouldn't rather have an interpretation of Chinese rather than the real thing for a number reasons which to me would be very valid. This location also seems to be a gather for large groups and indeed I came with a group of 22. So, though the service was good and adequate it was slow. I order a martini up, which by the time it got to me was barely below room temperature but for me warm gin is better than no gin, so I made do. I also had the Sichuan Shrimp which I found to in fact be tasty, good, and spicy as they said it would be, perfectly prepared and properly presented though nothing exceptional. As for the price, I found it to be reasonable though more than I would pay in most restaurants that are in fact authentic Chinese. Over all it's a place where you really can't go wrong but also a place where really won't find anything exceptional either.

This P.F. Changs needs some serious customer service training on how to treat their warrior rewards members. I wouldn't recommend going to this location anytime soon. However, the general manager did apologize for the bad experience, and went out of his way to call me personally, but they need a lot of work on their communication skills with customers and internally among their employees. I'm really hoping they can turn this place around because it's in a great location with a beautiful atmosphere. Just wish the servers were properly trained and more knowledgable about their rewards program and how to have good customer service.

Spent a day in Ft.Lauderdale before boarding our cruise. Went to Sawgrass Outlet and thought we would try this restuarsnt. Beautiful decor. We decided to sit outside at their patio. I got the seabass which was so moist and fresh. On a bed of greens. So good! My husband tried their shrimps and we both had thier special fried rice. Food was great and so was their service was great. I have yet to go to the one in Toronto but happy there is one here. I will probably be going back to this location next year... again before our cruise.

In town for the night, I wanted to go to the mall for something right around dinnertime. My uber dropped me off at the valet, which was right next to the P.F. Chang's. After my shopping was done and tummies started to grumble, I remembered P.F. Chang's and headed that way. On the way I called and asked if there was a wait. There was.. 20 minutes or so the host said. I asked if I could put my name on the list for call ahead seating and was told they didn't do that. Oh well.. worth a try. We headed over and put our name in, and were seated within just a couple of minutes. Our server came over pretty quickly and told us about the happy hour specials, so we placed an order of crispy green beans before the special ended. Typically I see smaller portions for happy hour, but not this time. There were a lot more than we expected, and we only ate about 2/3 of them to save room for our meals. I ordered a vegetarian dish, which came with brown or white rice. Trying to upgrade to fried rice failed, and it took me a minute to realize the menu I was looking at was the lunch menu when they DO allow you to upgrade. Oh well, I suppose I didn't need the fried rice and ended up with brown instead, which was still wonderful. This was a solid 4-star experience, both in terms of the service and the food. The restaurant itself was probably a 3-star, simply because it was freezing inside (and I don't get cold easily) and the layout of the dining room seemed a little cramped.

First time at this location. Did not dine in, ordered on site (not in advance) and waited for food. Great location at the end of the mall near the food court. Both valet parking and drop off located right in front of the entrance. It was not a too busy night, but it seemed to take awhile for my food to come out. That said, the take - out server (at the take - out desk) gave GREAT service. Hats off to Tonya. She knew I was waiting... When I first arrived she let me know that she would get to me once she was done with the previous customer, then let me know she would help me when I had decided on my choices. To top it off, she let me know that my food was up next (cue fairly decent wait), and then was extremely pleasant as she rang me up, offering all the sauces and utensils. Fantastic.

This is the first time I have visited this location - the portions seemed much smaller than other locations. We ordered several dishes to share family style but they really weren't quite large enough to share each across 4 people (which we typically do at this chain - it's nice to have a variety). The spicy chicken portion especially was much smaller than normal. The quality however was great as always.

Came here for lunch on a weekday and ate outside so I could people watch. The interior was typical PF Chang decor like in LA - dark, Asian and mysterious. Had the $10 and under lunch combo special. Went with a Mixed Greens Salad, GF Caramel Mango Chicken and steamed rice. I'm not celiac, but I can't tolerate large quantities of gluten and any amount of MSG. Didn't have any digestion problems from the food here. Food was really spicy, but definitely better than your typical mall food court.

The meal for 2 only figures dishes that are not that popular when they used to have for example Mongolian beef, kungpao scallops among others, also the crab appetizers have been removed. Pf Changs used to be one of our favorite restaurants but we are very disappointed.

I would like to start by saying this review is about the service not the food. Our food was good and the desert was delicious. Our server, Maggie, was rude. Every question we asked her about the menu she replied with a snappy response and seemed annoyed that we were asking questions. Our busser David was very friendly and helped with refills several times as we couldn't find Maggie for refills.

Our family had an amazing dining experience at PF Changs. We had deliciously prepared Mongolian beef, Pad Thai, Spicy chicken, and shrimp with lobster sauce. All of these dishes were very carefully crafted and extremely tasty with the added optional sauces. We especially enjoyed the most delightful service from our most pleasant waitress, Tracy, who served us very well and complemented our overall positive dining experience. Under no circumstances should you ever consider dining out at the less popular Jade Palace across the street because the maître d' there is very sullen and the food is not at all tasty.

It is no secret that I love me some PF Changs, so when I saw this one close to my hotel I packed up my travel companions and made it to the restaurant. We were a group of 7 and the wait on a Friday night was 45 minutes. We just went shopping around the Galleria. Forty five minutes later we came back and the host told me a story of how she did not know how much longer we had to wait... I looked at her incredulously, but just gave her the benefit of the doubt. The second time it happened I asked for her manager, If you cant do your job.. then you shouldn't be standing there looking incompetent. We were seated within 5 minutes. It was going to get ugly in there, but thankfully it didn't. The food was good and the service from the waiter was good also. I guess just make sure you reach an understand with the host. Don't get me wrong, I understand you are really busy, but you either know what you are doing or you don't... in this case it seemed to be the latter. This situation almost made this a 2 star review.

Why am I writing a review for a chain restaurant? The whole point of a brand is to deliver a consistent experience in multiple locations. You're in a new city, you're craving chinese food and you know PF Changs will deliver the experience and quality you want. But I wanted to give them a shout for a couple of reasons. #1 They are doing social media right! A friend and I are looking for a place to see a show for chinese new year. He tweets me and asks about PF Changs. Within an hour or so, we get a response to come check out their red envelope promo event next week. Nice job social media manager! #2 Their calamari is awesome I love when restaurants put a spin on this appetizer favorite. Side note: If you haven't had the Thai version at Legal Seafood - go now. I had never had calamari here and i am so happy I tried it. The light tempura is an interesting twist but the SAUCE is to die for. #3 The bartenders are awesome I have a friend who comes for happy hour once a week because he loves the service so much. That's a great testament to a place located in a mall where servers might be tempted to treat everyone like a tourist transient. #4 Happy Hour Pricing Even though they only do it during the week, you can get great "appies" and cocktails at a phenomenal price. The caveat is that you have to do it early. I wish they would extend it to weekends because that's about the ONLY time I hit happy hour at 3p.

We're not chain fans but there are a few like PF Chang's that we like in general. However, this one seems very small. The bar is off the side in the back. It's all a bit strange. Went this past weekend with a group of 12 to celebrate a friends and it was pretty empty which is weird for a PF Chang's. The good part of empty is that they can easily sit a party of 12 even if part of the crew got there 45 minutes late. The food was typical and consistent of any PF Chang's so that was good. The service however wasn't great. My wife's dish was Kung Pao Shrimp and they brought chicken. Rather than asking no questions and just firing up another dish it took a while for them to sort it out. With a big group that stinks as everyone wanted to wait for her to get her dish. They did leave the chicken dish behind which was a nice make-up. I would say this location is an average to below avg PF Chang's.

After coming to this location twice, I totally believe this is one of the greatest P.F. Chang's I've been to. The service is amazing, our last server was Mary Ellen and she was helpful and very knowledgeable. She asked the cooks for a sample of a dish we were interested in and the sous-chef Jonathan came out with a FULL dish of the Flaming Red Wontons. We were so grateful for their generosity. We don't ever go to a chain restaurant and get this kind of service. Onto the food and drinks: I've had the PF-X and their Cosmopolitan and both are well made and extremely good. You just can't beat their happy hour offerings. We love steamed dumplings and have tried the bacon and egg, pork, pork and leak, and the pork and shrimp dumplings and they all have been extremely tasty. My favorite it is the pork and shrimp: the sweetness of the shrimp is balanced with the robust flavors from the pork! Delicious! My boyfriend's favorite is the pork. The complimentary Flaming Red Wontons totally lived up to their spicy name. They were the perfect intensity of heat. Not too weak and not too overwhelming and makes you cry. The other thing we love here is the chicken lettuce wraps. They're just so light and refreshing: the hearty chicken mixture wrapped in that crisp, fresh lettuce wraps is a perfect summer meal. The one thing that was a bit off is that their brown rice tends to be a little bit dry, but I still love the wheat-y flavor it has.

This review goes to show that, not only food determines the experience of a restaurant goer, but as well as the service that is provided. In today's age where us "foodies" can share our experience I am appalled that certain restaurant chains don't provide at least good customer service at best. So here is my rant... I went to PF Chang's in Galleria Mall on my lunch break. I went on a recommendation of a co-worker because not just one but various co-workers had stated to me that they offer our employees a nice discount and to make sure to ask for it. Long story made short I was denied the request when I asked for the bill. So I paid my full price bill and asked to speak to the manager. I did this because I wanted to express my disappointment of being denied the discount that (I know for a fact) all my other colleagues had received. His response at first was to deny that they don't EVER give discounts to anyone. When I told him that I had a receipt that showed a discount my co-worker had received, he asked me where I worked. He then changed his answer to, "oh well yes I have given discounts to those employees, however it is up to our discretion." Everyone I have told this story to finds this response borderline discrimination. One friend went as far as comparing it to the Arizona state law that did NOT pass where a business could have denied service to a customer depending on their religion, sexual orientation etc. Obviously this situation is not as severe, but I had to write this review based on the passionate responses from my social network followers/friends and they all urged me to take action. As for the food, it is really good. But the bad service leaves a bad taste in your mouth for a long time.

Adventured outside of the usual 39.95 dinner for two blah blah blah... Tried the Seared Ahi Tuna and it fresh tasting and the little salad with thinly sliced cucumbers was really tasty and fresh (I paired it with a White Oregon Blend.... ). For dinner I shared an entree of Lamb and again was very good (and was paired with Pinot Noir)... Overall, always happy with this place.

Had dinner with my mother last nite .The fried dumplings with shrimp were the worst we ever had. They were half stuffed,plus they were falling apart. Vary disappointed. We always enjoy dining with for your servers are always friendly but not last nite. I have been to other P.F. Chang locations and the food is usually the same at every location so the service is usually what the rating comes down to. I had the honey glazed chicken which was very yummy. Our waiter was funny and friendly and managed to refill drinks without you even realizing he had done it. Be careful with the chocolate cake... its enough for the whole table (4-6 people).

And Changs Spicy Chicken (which Im sure exceeded my recommended caloric intake for the week) What I find annoying at this place is my whole meal feels rushed. Chinese food/chain restaurant: YES. A great way to get your fix for honey chicken, lo mein, and wontons without the "are they using cat in my food" Chinese joint undertones: YES! This PF Chang's is adjacent to the Galleria Mall and has outdoor seating which is a great way to enjoy lunch/dinner and the fresh beachy air. I've eaten at this location several times and service is pleasant and they get your order right. Happy Hour boasts a limited drink and appetizer menu & runs from 3-6pm with prices that correspond with the hours, $3-$6. Order a drink: try the Asian Pear Mojito or Jasmine iced tea. Munch on the crab wontons w/ slightly spiced sweet plum sauce are delicious (portion size= 5 or 6 wontons) or an order of Shanghai cucumbers sprinkled with sesame seeds. The Ground Chicken & Eggplant is excellent -sautéed with a slightly spicy soy chili sauce & scallions & served with your choice of brown or white rice. Ask for the sweet/spicy red chili sauce on the side & add it in - gives it a "kick" that makes this dish even more delicious. Coconut Curry Vegetables were quite pungent and the veggies beared a strong semblance to those found in your grocer's freezer. Skip it... opt for the Vegetable Chow Fun noodle dish instead - it's light & flavorful. I look forward to utilizing their online ordering system and trying more of their Asian-American persuasions in the comfort of home.

These are now in almost every city and when you go you pretty much know what you're going to get. The spicy chicken is still my all-time fave and it didn't disappoint. The service was great...in a packed restaurant we were greeted immediately and served quickly. I expected more of a wait for our food and the waters were refilled regularly (as were the beers). It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and will be back.

We were on our way to try a local restaurant but it was unfortunately closed for the day, posted reason: 'summer hours'. We always choose locally owned locations over chains however we were already quite hungry so went to PF Chang's on Sunrise, it was on our way. It's a chain restaurant so expect it to be such, nevertheless, it is better service and better quality food preparation than going to some of the other chain restaurants. When your server tells you the food is spicy, it is (of course, only if you're not accustomed to eating spicy food, otherwise, you will enjoy it like we did). If it's your first time going to the restaurant, let them know when you walk in, you will receive a survey card and receive a $10 off coupon for your next visit. Parking is located by the mall, free, you will walk just a little distance, but that's always good.

I'll be honest. I go to PF Chang's for 2 reasons: the Mongolian beef and the chicken lettuce wraps. However, PF Chang's China Bistro does several dishes exceptionally well. Expect a dimly lit ambience complete with real napkins and cutlery. You won't break the bank eating at this establishment either. For $25 to $30 you can have a nice dinner served to you by a friendly and courteous waiter. They have a good wine selection and are very accommodating when it comes to allergies. In fact, on my last visit the general manager came to my table when I mentioned being allergic to shelled fish. He was concerned that the oyster sauce they use in the Mongolian beef would cause a reaction. I told him that it never had before and that I would take full responsibility should a freak reaction occur during my meal. Of course, I devoured all of the scrumptious Mongolian beef on my plate without incident. I've also had my friends order the orange chicken and the smoked lamb so I could give these dishes a try. They are every bit as delicious! PF Chang's is an awesome chain and their service and food has been consistently good regardless of the location I've chosen to visit.

It had been a while since I'd been to PF Changs, so I was happy when a rescue group I work with suggested a lunchtime meeting here. We were one of THOSE tables - there were supposed to be like 15 of us and it was only 5, but hell, we were nice and I always tip well. :) The food was just eh compared to what I remembered. Had the tofu lettuce wraps, which were good, but could have used a different, sweeter sauce. The coconut curry veggies were ok, could definitely have used more sauce and more tofu. But the flavor was delicious. Server was super friendly, so extra stars for her efforts. I'd come back here and try some other items, but this time around was rather unimpressive.

I wasn't in the mood to venture out to something new and unfamiliar and it's location was ideal to where I was at the time. I am normally not a fan of Chinese food, because I find that it generally is too greasy or salty for my taste. But this popular Americanized chain restaurant has always been an exception. No matter which city, "PF Changs" is usually crowded w/ families and big groups. The attractive interior /exterior design is warm with the familar Asian decor. Despite the normal long waiting list for a table, one can usually find open seats at the stimulating bar. I had the seared ahi and spicy green beans which was delicious. And their their chicken lettuce wraps has always been an all-time favorite. It's times like these, that placate the thought of "ugh.. a chain restaurant"... which makes the overall dining experience worthwhile and comfortable.

We had the intentions of going to Christina Wans but they were closed for vacation - so we walked in there was maybe 10 people in the whole place the hostess had to finish her conversation with a waitress before she could help us- strike 1- took all about 3 min then sat us and the waitress took another 10 to take are drink orders- since I checked in on yelp when we walked in- I got a free dim sum the. The waitress told us we couldn't use it because we were 6 min over the time because it ended at 6 - idk it's ok food service always blows NO MATTER what location

Went here for my boyfriends birthday, food was decent, i had a vegetarian dish, my boyfriend had duck and said it was pretty good as well. But we had pretty lousy service, a bald server obnoxiously pushing drinks on us, he then took 15 min to get a diet coke, which says a lot, being that we went on a Wednesday afternoon. Besides the subpar service, restaurant was pretty good. Happy hour is definitely worth it.

I like PF Changs because of the food and the price. This place is consistant. Last time I came here, I tried something new. (Lettuce wraps) It was pretty good, like all of their food. Being in true chain fashion, this place is nothing to write home about, but if you want to have a good meal for a good price, this place can be an option. This location really needs to get their act together. The food was great so no complaints in that department. But we had the following issues: - Were told there would be a 10-15 min wait when 2/3 of the tables inside and outside were empty. Stop the show and just seat us, seriously. - Attempted to order our cocktails at the bar during our wait, after 10 min our table was ready (that was really ready the whole time) and cocktails hadn't been started - At least 5 additional min later the cocktails finally arrive at the table. (Agave Margarita = Delicious) - We placed our order with our very nice waitress. We ordered lunch specials that came with soup. 10 min later our orders arrived and we never got our soup. Then our soup came out a few min later. - The tables around us were having a hard time getting what they asked for and we heard people becoming frustrated with the service. The whole time it just seemed disorganized and poorly managed. If it weren't for the food and drinks that are necessary in the middle of a marathon shopping day, I wouldn't come back. But the food was really good and the lunch menu prices can't be beat. Hopefully next time will be a better experience.

We had a very nice dinner here, did the $39.95 special for 2 and found it to be a well cooked, flavorful and enjoyable meal. The server stopped by 10 seconds after the food came to ask how it was, then we had to track him down later for refills. Overall nice dinner and we will be back. I'm Chinese. I even share last names with this place. That's not going to stop me from giving this glorified panda express 1 star. For some reason, my mom loves eating at P.F. Chang's. I've literally dined at this establishment over 20 times, from NC to VA to CA. Strangely enough, the best tasting branch we've been to is in Milwaukee. Anyway, usually the dishes are innocuous, but the food at this branch is horrible! I mean, the chicken noodle soup (a staple in our dining list because my mom swears it tastes exactly like a Taiwanese dish called bi tai bah) tasted NOTHING like the other branches we've been to. It only had a few sad pieces of wilted cilantro, dry chicken, and the smallest, ugliest, bruised pieces of mushrooms. Even my mom, who usually inhales this soup as if it were the last drop of water in a desert oasis, refused to drink more than a few spoonfuls. Oh and the sauteed mushrooms, which are usually delicious in ANY culture, were burnt and swimming in a greasy, watery mess. One last gripe I have about this particular location is the bathrooms. Instead of having toilet paper holders built into the wall, they have these flimsy metal stands that each hold a single roll of tp. Said stand is placed very strategically right in front of the toilet. I swung open the door, knocked over the stand, and watched in horror as the entire roll slid neatly into the open bowl with a plop. I fished it out before the top part got soaked but that didn't make the incident any less gross :( Skip this location, go to the boca one or ANY other for 3.5 star food. Growing up Asian in California, it's hard to compare PF Chang's to any of the more authentic options dotting the West coast. However, compared to other PF Chang's locations, this one seems to be lacking the energy and (limited) charm of other locations, not helped by inconsistent lighting that created awkward dark spots. The food is typical Americanized Chinese - saucy, salty, and lacking a punch. Most disappointing though, was the specialty dish I ordered - dubbed "Mandarin Chicken". It was a saucy, stir-fried mess - uninspired with bland stir-fried chicken and veggies blended with a weak sweet and sour sauce. Honestly, did they dump this dish out of a freezer bag labeled Wanchai Ferry? Other dishes such as the lettuce wraps and honey walnut shrimp were definitely more palatable. Overall, the service was decent, and PF Chang's will satisfy a craving for Chinese. But don't expect anything remotely stellar that compares to more authentic options.

I've been to PF Changs (this particular one) more times than I can count. It seems to always be the place for birthdays or other special occasions - but I've also been there on multiple other occasions as well. After my 100th trip to PF Changs and venturing out to other Asian/Fusion restaurants such as Chows, Asia Di Cuba and others my enjoyment for Changs dwindled. Hope was restored this past weekend as I went with a small group of friends. The chain restaurant started doing a "dinner for two menu". It is supposedly only lasting for a limited time but hopefully they will keep it. This menu has restored my faith. You get choice of 2 soups, 1 app from a choice of about 8 (including their chicken lettuce wraps!), 2 full size entrees, and choice of a mini desserts for 39.00. I chose the sweet and sour soup ( i dint recommend), then we got the chicken lettuce wraps, beef and broccoli and Changs chicken. For dessert i got the mini red velvet cake and my partner in crime for the night got the chocolate cake. The other duo received the egg noodle soup and the sweet and sour soup, pork dumplings for the app, beef and broccoli and spicy chicken for their entrees..i believe they got the smores dessert and a tiramasu... either way we were all very happy and could not have eaten another bite by the time we left. I will definitely be making a return...once my pants button again

Avoid this pf changs if possible. This was the worst one i have visited. I ordered a vegetarian mapo tofu dish because it mentioned it was silken tofu which usually refers to soft tofu which is also the traditional chinese way and when I got it, it was with braised fried tofu. So, ok, not the Chinese way but that's fine, it's a very Americanized Chinese restaurant so not a big deal. Then I asked if I could have it soft and the manager had a minor hernia trying to accommodate that request. It seemed like such an ordeal to change it to soft tofu. It seemed like I was offending him by wanting to eat soft tofu. He kept trying to convince me that deep fried tofu is the only way to cook it and said he would put the sauce and chicken on the side because it won't cook well in the pan. I said it was ok and if it's bad I won't complain about it because it's a special request and it would be my fault but that's how I like it...the traditional way...he said it would be like jello and I'm not going to like it...buddy, I get what you're saying but can I just have my mapo tofu? I'm hungry. After about 4 -5 times of trying to convince me otherwise in a slightly demeaning manner, I sternly said, "look, my family is chinese, I've had this my whole life. I like the tofu soft please." finally he said ok, it'll be done in a few minutes and hung up. Jfkvjdkdi!!! I showed up and waited for my order which took a long time. A simple Togo order which should have been quick since I needed to get Back to my hotel to do work took more time to do than it would have to have dined in. The whole ordeal "ate up" around an hour. The Togo lady was nice the whole time but the Asian manager was not. Maybe they just Dont understand chinese food in florida...maybe...Unless they change management, avoid this of changs or just hope you don't need any special requests, like ever...and maybe it'll be fine. I will never return to this pf changs.

Date Visited: Friday 5/1/09 (Dinner) Don't get me wrong - I am a fan of PF Chang's and I really want to give this restaurant more stars, but there were a few issues with our visit this particular night. PF Chang's is located on the far end of the Galleria Mall garage parking (or we just simply parked in the wrong place), so while it was nice to stop in shops on the way back from dinner, it was kind of a pain to walk through it to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is detached from the mall (no entrance from inside the mall), just so ya know. Being Ft. Lauderdale, we decided to sit outside on their patio. After the previous night's dinner where we ate like pigs, we decided on only one appetizer. We got the vegetarian lettuce wraps. Even my father likes these! I was a little miffed that our waiter didn't make the sauce at the very beginning, like they're supposed to do and have done for every other visit I've ever made. The guy who brought out the lettuce made it for us. We ordered and started to eat the appetizers and chat. I've lived in California and Oregon for the past 25 years of my life, so I had a very disturbing hit into reality of other states. You can smoke in the patio area! I know smoking sections exist and I know you can't do anything about someone who walks by while smoking, but to sit where you want on the patio and smoke among non-smokers is just too much. It really wouldn't have mattered if it was the best Ma Po Tofu I've ever had in my life (and it was better than most because they didn't try to make it so hot that I couldn't feel my tongue anymore), the smoker sitting by us ruined everything.

The food at this place was inedible because of the salt. The waiter kept discounting my complaints, saying, "It's a matter of taste." TASTE? I've never tried to eat such salty food. And I LOVE salt on my food. The pork dumplings were greasy and pathetic. Both entrees that I tried were inedible. How anyone can like this chain is beyond me. It just goes to show how ignorant Americans are about good food. The only review I should have read and "heard" was the one by a Chinese guy who gave only one star because he couldn't give minus stars...I"m afraid that's what will happen to me here. Pathetic, expensive, snotty waiter, horrible excuse for a restaurant. I will never darken their door again!

We finally tried P F Changs, it has been open for about 4 months and since it is very close to our home...why not... Some things that are good...they accepted our reservation for 2 and gave a conformation number, (which they couldn't find when we got there, but did give us a booth as requested right away) The interoir atmosphere is exceptionally nice Our waiter was only semi professional...we told him we were not in a hurry (we do not like to be in and out in 30 minutes), mistake.... When we did get our food..spring rolls, very good, Steamed dumplings were good but cold when they were served, ..our Orange Peel Chicken very good. Plates were not removed from the table promptly, ...were we supposed to use the spring roll plates for our dumplings?...and when they were removed they were left on a tray right next to the table... Overall I give P F Changs a 6...(room for a lot of improvement)

Because there are no decent Chinese restaurants in South Florida, PF Chang's is as good as it gets. I've never had a bad meal there, even on busy weekends, but even on a less-busy day, service can be slow. Not good when you're with a hungry child who's dying for lettuce wraps. Restaurant is crammed with tables and banquette-style seating, so if you're disabled, physically impaired, or have kids with tiny bladders, you'll have issues getting around to go to the bathroom. The sizable appetizer menu is great for kids because of the smaller portions, but there are no kid-friendly alternatives to the Asian fare (e.g., no hamburgers or chicken fingers). If you bring kids, make sure they can handle themselves in public and have a semi-adventurous palate. Or at least bring a good lunchbox meal from home. Ambient noise level can be high on busy nights. If you want to have intimate conversations with your dinner partner, sit close together at one of the banquette tables; else you'll be shouting at each other the whole time.

You can't go wrong with the chicken lettuce wraps to start. Really fresh crisp lettuce heads and warm, tender chicken. Enough to share, but the pork dumplings are good as well. Mongolian beef and orange peel beef are good entrees. The Mongolian beef is tender while the orange peel beef is nice and crispy. Some good lamb dishes as well. You don't see that too often at Chinese restaurants. For dessert, the flourless chocolate dome is delicious, and gluten free for those that rely on that. The banana spring rolls with ice cream and caramel is also good.

"one positive thing about chains is you get consistency" my life partner in crime Miriam W is apt to say. However this PF Chang's didn't get that memo. I have to say I find the one in Emeryville, CA to be pleasant and I never mind going at someone's invitation. This one however was an invitation I should have passed up. First the host was on the phone and couldn't eke out a greeting or a a "one minute please" then some other staff, they have so many staff, managed to find me a booth. Eventually another waiter found me and took my order. I kept it simple, they have no Thai Iced Tea, so I stuck with a California Cabernet (the best kind kids) and a Vegetable Coconut Curry. What could go wrong? Thanks for asking. My waiter's next appearance at my table was him showing up with an armful of dirty dishes putting them down on my table and then going "whoa!" and leaving with a laugh but never an apology. Then the wine, good, dependable, full bodied Lohr Cabernet. Then the vegetable curry on one plate with tofu looking blackened and another big bowl of brown rice. Midway through the meal the waiter brought me at plate to combine the two which was okay except that plates were kept right next to my booth and this could have been done right away. The Rice looked like it had something, mmm buggy in it. The vegetables were cooked to the point where you wonder if there is nutritional value left and the tofu. Dammit, why can't people do tofu right? And why does a chain with "China Bistro" in its name get it so horrifyingly wrong.

It was very crowded but luckily we scored a table outside with no wait. The service was slow; it took forever for the food to come out (perhaps because it was so crowded?) but our waiter was good. This is the first time I have visited this location - the portions seemed much smaller than other locations. We ordered several dishes to share family style but they really weren't quite large enough to share each across 4 people (which we typically do at this chain - it's nice to have a variety). The spicy chicken portion especially was much smaller than normal. The quality however was great as always.

Came here for lunch on a weekday and ate outside so I could people watch. The interior was typical PF Chang decor like in LA - dark, Asian and mysterious. Had the $10 and under lunch combo special. Went with a Mixed Greens Salad, GF Caramel Mango Chicken and steamed rice. I'm not celiac, but I can't tolerate large quantities of gluten and any amount of MSG. Didn't have any digestion problems from the food here. Food was really spicy, but definitely better than your typical mall food court.

I went with my family to have dinner and we were very disappointed that the entire menu had been changed. The meal for 2 only figures dishes that are not that popular when they used to have for example Mongolian beef, kungpao scallops among others, also the crab appetizers have been removed. We ended up deciding to pay for our drinks and go to another restaurant. I hope they review their menu and put it back as it was. Pf Changs used to be one of our favorite restaurants but we are very disappointed.

I would like to start by saying this review is about the service not the food. Our food was good and the desert was delicious. Our server, Maggie, was rude. Every question we asked her about the menu she replied with a snappy response and seemed annoyed that we were asking questions. Our busser David was very friendly and helped with refills several times as we couldn't find Maggie for refills.

Our family had an amazing dining experience at PF Changs. We had deliciously prepared Mongolian beef, Pad Thai, Spicy chicken, and shrimp with lobster sauce. All of these dishes were very carefully crafted and extremely tasty with the added optional sauces. We especially enjoyed the most delightful service from our most pleasant waitress, Tracy, who served us very well and complemented our overall positive dining experience. Under no circumstances should you ever consider dining out at the less popular Jade Palace across the street because the maître d' there is very sullen and the food is not at all tasty.

It is no secret that I love me some PF Changs, so when I saw this one close to my hotel I packed up my travel companions and made it to the restaurant. We were a group of 7 and the wait on a Friday night was 45 minutes. We just went shopping around the Galleria. Forty five minutes later we came back and the host told me a story of how she did not know how much longer we had to wait... I looked at her incredulously, but just gave her the benefit of the doubt. The second time it happened I asked for her manager, If you cant do your job.. then you shouldn't be standing there looking incompetent. We were seated within 5 minutes. It was going to get ugly in there, but thankfully it didn't. The food was good and the service from the waiter was good also. I guess just make sure you reach an understand with the host. Don't get me wrong, I understand you are really busy, but you either know what you are doing or you don't... in this case it seemed to be the latter. This situation almost made this a 2 star review.

Why am I writing a review for a chain restaurant? The whole point of a brand is to deliver a consistent experience in multiple locations. You're in a new city, you're craving chinese food and you know PF Changs will deliver the experience and quality you want. But I wanted to give them a shout for a couple of reasons. #1 They are doing social media right! A friend and I are looking for a place to see a show for chinese new year. He tweets me and asks about PF Changs. Within an hour or so, we get a response to come check out their red envelope promo event next week. Nice job social media manager! #2 Their calamari is awesome I love when restaurants put a spin on this appetizer favorite. Side note: If you haven't had the Thai version at Legal Seafood - go now. I had never had calamari here and i am so happy I tried it. The light tempura is an interesting twist but the SAUCE is to die for. #3 The bartenders are awesome I have a friend who comes for happy hour once a week because he loves the service so much. That's a great testament to a place located in a mall where servers might be tempted to treat everyone like a tourist transient. #4 Happy Hour Pricing Even though they only do it during the week, you can get great "appies" and cocktails at a phenomenal price. The caveat is that you have to do it early. I wish they would extend it to weekends because that's about the ONLY time I hit happy hour at 3p.

This is my absolute favorite chain food restaurant. I have NEVER been disappointed in a P.F. Chang's. And i must say that this particular PF is the best of every PF's i have tried. Absolutely fantastic food served by a waitress that seriously could work in a restaurant where she'd probably earn three times as much salary. Loved every minute in here! Loved!

We're not chain fans but there are a few like PF Chang's that we like in general. However, this one seems very small. The bar is off the side in the back. It's all a bit strange. Went this past weekend with a group of 12 to celebrate a friends and it was pretty empty which is weird for a PF Chang's. The good part of empty is that they can easily sit a party of 12 even if part of the crew got there 45 minutes late. The food was typical and consistent of any PF Chang's so that was good. The service however wasn't great. My wife's dish was Kung Pao Shrimp and they brought chicken. Rather than asking no questions and just firing up another dish it took a while for them to sort it out. With a big group that stinks as everyone wanted to wait for her to get her dish. They did leave the chicken dish behind which was a nice make-up. I would say this location is an average to below avg PF Chang's.

After coming to this location twice, I totally believe this is one of the greatest P.F. Chang's I've been to. The service is amazing, our last server was Mary Ellen and she was helpful and very knowledgeable. She asked the cooks for a sample of a dish we were interested in and the sous-chef Jonathan came out with a FULL dish of the Flaming Red Wontons. We were so grateful for their generosity. We don't ever go to a chain restaurant and get this kind of service. Onto the food and drinks: I've had the PF-X and their Cosmopolitan and both are well made and extremely good. You just can't beat their happy hour offerings. We love steamed dumplings and have tried the bacon and egg, pork, pork and leak, and the pork and shrimp dumplings and they all have been extremely tasty. My favorite it is the pork and shrimp: the sweetness of the shrimp is balanced with the robust flavors from the pork! Delicious! My boyfriend's favorite is the pork. The complimentary Flaming Red Wontons totally lived up to their spicy name. They were the perfect intensity of heat. Not too weak and not too overwhelming and makes you cry. The other thing we love here is the chicken lettuce wraps. They're just so light and refreshing: the hearty chicken mixture wrapped in that crisp, fresh lettuce wraps is a perfect summer meal. The one thing that was a bit off is that their brown rice tends to be a little bit dry, but I still love the wheat-y flavor it has.

This review goes to show that, not only food determines the experience of a restaurant goer, but as well as the service that is provided. In today's age where us "foodies" can share our experience I am appalled that certain restaurant chains don't provide at least good customer service at best. So here is my rant... I went to PF Chang's in Galleria Mall on my lunch break. I went on a recommendation of a co-worker because not just one but various co-workers had stated to me that they offer our employees a nice discount and to make sure to ask for it. Long story made short I was denied the request when I asked for the bill. So I paid my full price bill and asked to speak to the manager. I did this because I wanted to express my disappointment of being denied the discount that (I know for a fact) all my other colleagues had received. His response at first was to deny that they don't EVER give discounts to anyone. When I told him that I had a receipt that showed a discount my co-worker had received, he asked me where I worked. He then changed his answer to, "oh well yes I have given discounts to those employees, however it is up to our discretion." Everyone I have told this story to finds this response borderline discrimination. One friend went as far as comparing it to the Arizona state law that did NOT pass where a business could have denied service to a customer depending on their religion, sexual orientation etc. Obviously this situation is not as severe, but I had to write this review based on the passionate responses from my social network followers/friends and they all urged me to take action. As for the food, it is really good. But the bad service leaves a bad taste in your mouth for a long time.

Tried the Seared Ahi Tuna and it fresh tasting and the little salad with thinly sliced cucumbers was really tasty and fresh (I paired it with a White Oregon Blend.... ). I had the honey glazed chicken which was very yummy. Our waiter was funny and friendly and managed to refill drinks without you even realizing he had done it. Chinese food/chain restaurant: YES. A great way to get your fix for honey chicken, lo mein, and wontons without the "are they using cat in my food" Chinese joint undertones: YES! This PF Chang's is adjacent to the Galleria Mall and has outdoor seating which is a great way to enjoy lunch/dinner and the fresh beachy air. I've eaten at this location several times and service is pleasant and they get your order right. Happy Hour boasts a limited drink and appetizer menu & runs from 3-6pm with prices that correspond with the hours, $3-$6. Order a drink: try the Asian Pear Mojito or Jasmine iced tea. Munch on the crab wontons w/ slightly spiced sweet plum sauce are delicious (portion size= 5 or 6 wontons) or an order of Shanghai cucumbers sprinkled with sesame seeds. The Ground Chicken & Eggplant is excellent -sautéed with a slightly spicy soy chili sauce & scallions & served with your choice of brown or white rice. Ask for the sweet/spicy red chili sauce on the side & add it in - gives it a "kick" that makes this dish even more delicious. Coconut Curry Vegetables were quite pungent and the veggies beared a strong semblance to those found in your grocer's freezer. Skip it... opt for the Vegetable Chow Fun noodle dish instead - it's light & flavorful. I look forward to utilizing their online ordering system and trying more of their Asian-American persuasions in the comfort of home.

These are now in almost every city and when you go you pretty much know what you're going to get. The spicy chicken is still my all-time fave and it didn't disappoint. The service was great...in a packed restaurant we were greeted immediately and served quickly. I expected more of a wait for our food and the waters were refilled regularly (as were the beers). It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and will be back.

We were on our way to try a local restaurant but it was unfortunately closed for the day, posted reason: 'summer hours'. We always choose locally owned locations over chains however we were already quite hungry so went to PF Chang's on Sunrise, it was on our way. It's a chain restaurant so expect it to be such, nevertheless, it is better service and better quality food preparation than going to some of the other chain restaurants. When your server tells you the food is spicy, it is (of course, only if you're not accustomed to eating spicy food, otherwise, you will enjoy it like we did). If it's your first time going to the restaurant, let them know when you walk in, you will receive a survey card and receive a $10 off coupon for your next visit. Parking is located by the mall, free, you will walk just a little distance, but that's always good.

I'll be honest. I go to PF Chang's for 2 reasons: the Mongolian beef and the chicken lettuce wraps. However, PF Chang's China Bistro does several dishes exceptionally well. Expect a dimly lit ambience complete with real napkins and cutlery. You won't break the bank eating at this establishment either. For $25 to $30 you can have a nice dinner served to you by a friendly and courteous waiter. They have a good wine selection and are very accommodating when it comes to allergies. In fact, on my last visit the general manager came to my table when I mentioned being allergic to shelled fish. He was concerned that the oyster sauce they use in the Mongolian beef would cause a reaction. I told him that it never had before and that I would take full responsibility should a freak reaction occur during my meal. Of course, I devoured all of the scrumptious Mongolian beef on my plate without incident. I've also had my friends order the orange chicken and the smoked lamb so I could give these dishes a try. They are every bit as delicious! PF Chang's is an awesome chain and their service and food has been consistently good regardless of the location I've chosen to visit.

It had been a while since I'd been to PF Changs, so I was happy when a rescue group I work with suggested a lunchtime meeting here. We were one of THOSE tables - there were supposed to be like 15 of us and it was only 5, but hell, we were nice and I always tip well. :) The food was just eh compared to what I remembered. Had the tofu lettuce wraps, which were good, but could have used a different, sweeter sauce. The coconut curry veggies were ok, could definitely have used more sauce and more tofu. But the flavor was delicious. Server was super friendly, so extra stars for her efforts. I'd come back here and try some other items, but this time around was rather unimpressive.

I wasn't in the mood to venture out to something new and unfamiliar and it's location was ideal to where I was at the time. I am normally not a fan of Chinese food, because I find that it generally is too greasy or salty for my taste. But this popular Americanized chain restaurant has always been an exception. No matter which city, "PF Changs" is usually crowded w/ families and big groups. The attractive interior /exterior design is warm with the familar Asian decor. Despite the normal long waiting list for a table, one can usually find open seats at the stimulating bar. I had the seared ahi and spicy green beans which was delicious. And their their chicken lettuce wraps has always been an all-time favorite. It's times like these, that placate the thought of "ugh.. a chain restaurant"... which makes the overall dining experience worthwhile and comfortable.

Went here for my boyfriends birthday, food was decent, i had a vegetarian dish, my boyfriend had duck and said it was pretty good as well. But we had pretty lousy service, a bald server obnoxiously pushing drinks on us, he then took 15 min to get a diet coke, which says a lot, being that we went on a Wednesday afternoon. Besides the subpar service, restaurant was pretty good. Happy hour is definitely worth it.

Spent a day in Ft.Lauderdale before boarding our cruise. Went to Sawgrass Outlet and thought we would try this restuarsnt. Beautiful decor. We decided to sit outside at their patio. I got the seabass which was so moist and fresh. On a bed of greens. So good! My husband tried their shrimps and we both had thier special fried rice. Food was great and so was their service was great. I have yet to go to the one in Toronto but happy there is one here. I will probably be going back to this location next year... again before our cruise.

In town for the night, I wanted to go to the mall for something right around dinnertime. My uber dropped me off at the valet, which was right next to the P.F. Chang's. After my shopping was done and tummies started to grumble, I remembered P.F. Chang's and headed that way. On the way I called and asked if there was a wait. There was.. 20 minutes or so the host said. I asked if I could put my name on the list for call ahead seating and was told they didn't do that. Oh well.. worth a try. We headed over and put our name in, and were seated within just a couple of minutes. Our server came over pretty quickly and told us about the happy hour specials, so we placed an order of crispy green beans before the special ended. Typically I see smaller portions for happy hour, but not this time. There were a lot more than we expected, and we only ate about 2/3 of them to save room for our meals. I ordered a vegetarian dish, which came with brown or white rice. Trying to upgrade to fried rice failed, and it took me a minute to realize the menu I was looking at was the lunch menu when they DO allow you to upgrade. Oh well, I suppose I didn't need the fried rice and ended up with brown instead, which was still wonderful. This was a solid 4-star experience, both in terms of the service and the food. The restaurant itself was probably a 3-star, simply because it was freezing inside (and I don't get cold easily) and the layout of the dining room seemed a little cramped.

First time at this location. Did not dine in, ordered on site (not in advance) and waited for food. Great location at the end of the mall near the food court. Both valet parking and drop off located right in front of the entrance. It was not a too busy night, but it seemed to take awhile for my food to come out. That said, the take - out server (at the take - out desk) gave GREAT service. Hats off to Tonya. She knew I was waiting... When I first arrived she let me know that she would get to me once she was done with the previous customer, then let me know she would help me when I had decided on my choices. To top it off, she let me know that my food was up next (cue fairly decent wait), and then was extremely pleasant as she rang me up, offering all the sauces and utensils. Fantastic.

This used to be a GREAT place to get a light lunch during a shopping trip to the Galleria, however BEWARE!!! The lunch menu and specials are no longer offered!! If you want a small lunch avoid this place!! There are many good and reasonably priced options in the mall and in the area as well. I don't know which genius at PF Chang's came up with the idea to eliminate serving lunch at lunchtime, but I'm sure it is all about greed and stupidity. Six of us went for their rice bowl lunch on Saturday. We were seated and given menus. We inquired about the lunch specials and said they are no longer offered at lunch time!!! How screwed up is that?? It was not a problem, we left and went elsewhere. I suspect that is going to happen more and more often as people realize the corporate management has no brain and driven by greed!!

Great food! A little pricy per person & they put more of a portion on the plate than one person can (or should) possibly eat. It's a very big menu, & it takes a while to read thru it to decide what you want. I was in a group of 7 people, & also one of 3 of those people who enjoys using chopsticks. They supply plenty of chopsticks for everyone, plus a few extras. And the chopsticks are also more durable/reusable plastic rather than the usual wooden ones you have to split before use, that splinters in your mouth or all over the place if the initial break doesn't go right. I think the middle of the menu listed the vegetarian-friendly options, & I know I had one of those that was in the $11-12 range. I don't remember what it was called, it had the word "coconut" in the title, & "vegetables". But it was delicious!

Anyways, my friend purchased the sweet and sour lunch chicken with brown rice and I had the beef and broccoli with white rice. They had "Crab wontons" aka Crab Rangoon for $5 for Happy Hour! The Sweet & Sour chicken was great and the brown rice was surprisingly good, cooked fresh. I suspect it was cooked fresh because not a lot of people order brown rice for lunch, so they had to make it to order. My meal on the other hand was disappointing. The beef and broccoli were okay, but my rice was very stale and hard. I politely informed the waitress and she was very quick, apologetic and professional about apologizing and changing it out, so service was A-OK. After a while, my friend did find a small hair in his food, but we weren't sure if it could've just been his or not, so, not wanting to cause anymore disturbance, we just kept quiet. The lunch portions did also come with soup or salad. We chose the dumpling soup, which was okay as well. The highlight was definitely the crab rangoon! If you've never had it, you can definitely tell it was made fresh and was the best, but considering it was only an appetizer, it's unfortunate that it overshadowed the main courses. I gave it 2 stars considering how expensive it is for the actual quality of the food. Although the hair in food is still questionable, the stale rice at an Asian specialty restaurant turned me off. I know it's lunch prices ($10-15) over dinner ($15+) but it is still pricey for the quality. I can understand if the chicken flavoring was not to my liking but rice is very basic and hard to mess up. I'm a 20-something college student and even I can cook better rice. It also did not seem up to par with the cleanliness. The soup and beef and broccoli were okay, but comparable to chinese take out, which is why I also rated low. For the same quality, possibly better, I could order take out from a good and much cheaper Chinese restaurant alternative. Maybe it's not fair to rate 2/5 but I guess the expectations for P.F. Changs were not met as it is often compared and priced to restaurants similar to the Cheesecake Factory, etc. Anyways, as I usually encourage in my reviews, unless they are absolutely horrendous, go see for yourself and decide. My experience could have been a hit or a miss. It was definitely a "meh" experience.

What a FUN evening! Stopped by on a Tuesday night at 6:30 without a reservation. There was plenty of dining room seating and room at the bar. We choose the bar. The manager, Nick, was very friendly and enthusiastic. We were welcomed by the bartender who has been there since it opened.....a real professional, she was quick , friendly and accurate. She told us we had a half hour left to happy hour and we ordered our drinks and food. We ordered Orange Chili Edamame, Pan Fried Dumplings, and Spicy Chicken Soup. It was more than enough fluid for the two of us and it was hot and delicious. The drinks were cold and very fairly priced. The conversation at the bar was fun. Do yourself a favor and visit soon.... say hi to Nick. sashie and Gia for me!

As avid Changs fans, we come here at least twice every time we visit Ft. Lauderdale (lunch and dinner). Great location nice outdoor seating, but the bar area (where you all know I like to sit) seems like it could use a little TLC. More times than not the bartenders seem stressed. Sometimes to where you almost feel bad asking for anything else. The bar area is small compared to most locations, so it is puzzling why. I have to say when they seem to be having an easier day they are accommodating and it is an enjoyable visit.

Review is based on one visit for two. ... It was a Saturday night. They were busy. We sat at the bar and ordered an organic wine and a minute later we were called - even though they said it would be 20 minutes or more... We got seated outside - awesome and were promptly given menus and water. Our waiter was efficient, the food was very good, and the portions were generous. My sister never ate at PFC before and really enjoyed the meal. An appetizer and entree totaled $40 before tax and tip -- the 2 glasses of wine were about $16.

My girlfriend and I are regular diners here at PF Chang for a long time. Most of time their service is consistent . The reason they lost a star is they served us a very dry brown rice. If it was not an Asian restaurant , I could forgive them but this is an Asian restaurant and for Asian rice is very important . I wouldn't even that to eat home nor would serve to my guest if I had guest at home. Also, their food is too salty in general , but overall, this is one of good Chinese restaurant .

I'm going to be quick here. This was a 2 star experience with 3 star food and a 4 star server. Unfortunately, the experience trumps all else this time because of how ridiculous it was. We got here at 5pm on a Friday and had to wait for a seat. That in-itself is fine, but we shouldn't really have to wait when we see a good 5 open tables! And the open tables were not in a closed section, nor were they 4-tops or 6-tops, they were 2-tops. So, we ended up waiting a good 10-15 minutes. Also, there were four, count them my Cookie Monster friends, FOUR people at the hostess desk and it still took like 5 minutes with 2 groups of 3 in front of us for us to put our name down. What on Earth are FOUR people doing at a hostess desk? I know, nothing. There was only one girl taking reservations. Holy Jeez Louis! During our wait I heard the following. Gentleman: Hi, our party of four is here for 5:15 Lady at desk: We're asking that if you have a reservation that you give us 10-15 more minutes. My lord. They're asking people who have a reservation for a specific time to wait! This is horrible and unacceptable customer service. Like all PFChang's, small menu. We got the egg-rolls and Lettuce Wrap along with the Pad Thai. for $2, we upgraded the Pad Thai to extra Chicken and for $2 more we got fried tofu. The reason for the 3 star food: 1) The fried tofu was mushy - fried should mean firm, not soft 2) There should have been more noodles Our server was great, the receipt said Audrey, so if that was really her, she's awesome. She was quick to "be on our side", by putting in orders into the kitchen soon, filling up water (don't ask, I agree, there should have been people besides our server filling up water!), giving her opinion, making our meal more enjoyable. Long story short: Decent food, with some flaws. Unacceptable hostess station work. Try and get Audrey as your server. Look, if you want better food, with more variety and only a few steps away, go to Cheesecake Factory. There's a wait there, but it's for a reason!

I love PF Changs dishes! My favorites usually are curry vegetables, Singapore street noodles, won ton soup, garlic shrimp dish, lettuce wrap, and many others. And my husband and I absolutely love their New York Cheesecake that comes with the most delicious freshly minced raspberry sauce. But this location made me disappointed. First, we ordered chicken noodle soup that had horrible huge (looking like white worms) noodles in it that tasted like flour and filled up 1/3 of the bowl. Second, Singapore street noodles were not soft enough, they were a bit crunchy, half cooked. And then our favorite raspberry sauce tasted like jam. I asked the waiter if they changed the recipe but he had no clue what Im talking about. So I still love PF Changs just not this location.

This has got to be the worst PF Changs in South Florida! We came in on Saturday night for an 8:30 reservation (seated around 8:45) when the place was not busy at all... Especially compared to the North Miami Beach and Sawgrass locations. They were out of Stella beer and pork dumplings. Our server Jeff was extremely disinterested, like we were bothering him to do his job. Barely an apology for being out of the things we wanted. The food tasted off. If you're at the Galleria eat somewhere else! I love PF Changs in general and this was just disappointing.

Great place and even better memories! Pf changs had always been a great place to eat my fiancé and I usually get the 2 for 40.00 we order the famous changs spicy chicken which is ( amazing!!!) and start off with their chicken lettuce wraps and egg drop soup mmmm yumm!! And they are always consistent in flavor! But here's we're it's makes it special my fiancé flew me up to NY for my first time in November2014 he Proposed to me under the Christmas tree in time square it was remarkable we ended up walking hand in hand to the nearest restaurant (pf changs) sat down and we told the server we just got engaged just a few minutes ago she made or experience the most memorable experience ever!! The manager Came over and treated us with not one but two huge desserts and in raspberry writing was congratulation to Lindsey and Francisco!! We felt so heart warmed by all the love and good food and just a wonderful place even though the location I am talking about in is Ny we are regulars at this place too!!! I go to PF Chang's on a regular basis and this location in Fort Lauderdale by the Galleria Mall is by far the worst location I have been to. The plates and silverware were dirty with old dried food and the food was so inconsistent from all of my other experiences at PF Changs- the food came out messy and tasted horrible. I was so surprised as I always order the same things at every PF Changs and at this location those same dishes tasted gross. I had to send 1 item back. If you're like me and usually love PF Changs, go to a different location- not this one in Fort Lauderdale!! Horrible service and disappointed in the food here!

P. F. Chang is a chain so it is supposed to consistently provide the same food and the same environment at multiple locations. From the number I have been at, they do a good job of that and this location is no exception. The interior of this location, however, generally seems more dimly lit than most and in some areas it's nice to have a flashlight. As for the food, you can't go wrong on the fact that it is good though it is basically an American interpretation of what Chinese food should be and what Chinese food should taste like. So, you really don't go here looking for authentic Chinese, which isn't to say that a vast number of people wouldn't rather have an interpretation of Chinese rather than the real thing for a number reasons which to me would be very valid. This location also seems to be a gather for large groups and indeed I came with a group of 22. So, though the service was good and adequate it was slow. I order a martini up, which by the time it got to me was barely below room temperature but for me warm gin is better than no gin, so I made do. I also had the Sichuan Shrimp which I found to in fact be tasty, good, and spicy as they said it would be, perfectly prepared and properly presented though nothing exceptional. As for the price, I found it to be reasonable though more than I would pay in most restaurants that are in fact authentic Chinese. Over all it's a place where you really can't go wrong but also a place where really won't find anything exceptional either.

This P.F. Changs needs some serious customer service training on how to treat their warrior rewards members. I wouldn't recommend going to this location anytime soon. However, the general manager did apologize for the bad experience, and went out of his way to call me personally, but they need a lot of work on their communication skills with customers and internally among their employees. I'm really hoping they can turn this place around because it's in a great location with a beautiful atmosphere. Just wish the servers were properly trained and more knowledgable about their rewards program and how to have good customer service.

It is a chain - the food is predictably above average - but the service I had in the dining room at this particular location was not as good as service I have had at other locations of PF Chang's. This location really needs to get their act together. The food was great so no complaints in that department. But we had the following issues: - Were told there would be a 10-15 min wait when 2/3 of the tables inside and outside were empty. Stop the show and just seat us, seriously. - Attempted to order our cocktails at the bar during our wait, after 10 min our table was ready (that was really ready the whole time) and cocktails hadn't been started - At least 5 additional min later the cocktails finally arrive at the table. (Agave Margarita = Delicious) - We placed our order with our very nice waitress. We ordered lunch specials that came with soup. 10 min later our orders arrived and we never got our soup. Then our soup came out a few min later. - The tables around us were having a hard time getting what they asked for and we heard people becoming frustrated with the service. The whole time it just seemed disorganized and poorly managed. If it weren't for the food and drinks that are necessary in the middle of a marathon shopping day, I wouldn't come back. But the food was really good and the lunch menu prices can't be beat. Hopefully next time will be a better experience.

I'm Chinese. I even share last names with this place. That's not going to stop me from giving this glorified panda express 1 star. For some reason, my mom loves eating at P.F. Chang's. I've literally dined at this establishment over 20 times, from NC to VA to CA. Strangely enough, the best tasting branch we've been to is in Milwaukee. Anyway, usually the dishes are innocuous, but the food at this branch is horrible! I mean, the chicken noodle soup (a staple in our dining list because my mom swears it tastes exactly like a Taiwanese dish called bi tai bah) tasted NOTHING like the other branches we've been to. It only had a few sad pieces of wilted cilantro, dry chicken, and the smallest, ugliest, bruised pieces of mushrooms. Even my mom, who usually inhales this soup as if it were the last drop of water in a desert oasis, refused to drink more than a few spoonfuls. Oh and the sauteed mushrooms, which are usually delicious in ANY culture, were burnt and swimming in a greasy, watery mess. One last gripe I have about this particular location is the bathrooms. Instead of having toilet paper holders built into the wall, they have these flimsy metal stands that each hold a single roll of tp. Said stand is placed very strategically right in front of the toilet. I swung open the door, knocked over the stand, and watched in horror as the entire roll slid neatly into the open bowl with a plop. I fished it out before the top part got soaked but that didn't make the incident any less gross :( Skip this location, go to the boca one or ANY other for 3.5 star food. Growing up Asian in California, it's hard to compare PF Chang's to any of the more authentic options dotting the West coast. However, compared to other PF Chang's locations, this one seems to be lacking the energy and (limited) charm of other locations, not helped by inconsistent lighting that created awkward dark spots. The food is typical Americanized Chinese - saucy, salty, and lacking a punch. Most disappointing though, was the specialty dish I ordered - dubbed "Mandarin Chicken". It was a saucy, stir-fried mess - uninspired with bland stir-fried chicken and veggies blended with a weak sweet and sour sauce. Honestly, did they dump this dish out of a freezer bag labeled Wanchai Ferry? Other dishes such as the lettuce wraps and honey walnut shrimp were definitely more palatable. Overall, the service was decent, and PF Chang's will satisfy a craving for Chinese. But don't expect anything remotely stellar that compares to more authentic options.

I've been to PF Changs (this particular one) more times than I can count. It seems to always be the place for birthdays or other special occasions - but I've also been there on multiple other occasions as well. After my 100th trip to PF Changs and venturing out to other Asian/Fusion restaurants such as Chows, Asia Di Cuba and others my enjoyment for Changs dwindled. Hope was restored this past weekend as I went with a small group of friends. The chain restaurant started doing a "dinner for two menu". It is supposedly only lasting for a limited time but hopefully they will keep it. This menu has restored my faith. You get choice of 2 soups, 1 app from a choice of about 8 (including their chicken lettuce wraps!), 2 full size entrees, and choice of a mini desserts for 39.00. I chose the sweet and sour soup ( i dint recommend), then we got the chicken lettuce wraps, beef and broccoli and Changs chicken. For dessert i got the mini red velvet cake and my partner in crime for the night got the chocolate cake. The other duo received the egg noodle soup and the sweet and sour soup, pork dumplings for the app, beef and broccoli and spicy chicken for their entrees..i believe they got the smores dessert and a tiramasu... either way we were all very happy and could not have eaten another bite by the time we left. I will definitely be making a return...once my pants button again

Avoid this pf changs if possible. This was the worst one i have visited. I ordered a vegetarian mapo tofu dish because it mentioned it was silken tofu which usually refers to soft tofu which is also the traditional chinese way and when I got it, it was with braised fried tofu. So, ok, not the Chinese way but that's fine, it's a very Americanized Chinese restaurant so not a big deal. Then I asked if I could have it soft and the manager had a minor hernia trying to accommodate that request. It seemed like such an ordeal to change it to soft tofu. It seemed like I was offending him by wanting to eat soft tofu. He kept trying to convince me that deep fried tofu is the only way to cook it and said he would put the sauce and chicken on the side because it won't cook well in the pan. I said it was ok and if it's bad I won't complain about it because it's a special request and it would be my fault but that's how I like it...the traditional way...he said it would be like jello and I'm not going to like it...buddy, I get what you're saying but can I just have my mapo tofu? I'm hungry. After about 4 -5 times of trying to convince me otherwise in a slightly demeaning manner, I sternly said, "look, my family is chinese, I've had this my whole life. I like the tofu soft please." finally he said ok, it'll be done in a few minutes and hung up. Jfkvjdkdi!!! I showed up and waited for my order which took a long time. A simple Togo order which should have been quick since I needed to get Back to my hotel to do work took more time to do than it would have to have dined in. The whole ordeal "ate up" around an hour. The Togo lady was nice the whole time but the Asian manager was not. Maybe they just Dont understand chinese food in florida...maybe...Unless they change management, avoid this of changs or just hope you don't need any special requests, like ever...and maybe it'll be fine. I will never return to this pf changs.

Date Visited: Friday 5/1/09 (Dinner) Don't get me wrong - I am a fan of PF Chang's and I really want to give this restaurant more stars, but there were a few issues with our visit this particular night. PF Chang's is located on the far end of the Galleria Mall garage parking (or we just simply parked in the wrong place), so while it was nice to stop in shops on the way back from dinner, it was kind of a pain to walk through it to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is detached from the mall (no entrance from inside the mall), just so ya know. Being Ft. Lauderdale, we decided to sit outside on their patio. After the previous night's dinner where we ate like pigs, we decided on only one appetizer. We got the vegetarian lettuce wraps. Even my father likes these! I was a little miffed that our waiter didn't make the sauce at the very beginning, like they're supposed to do and have done for every other visit I've ever made. The guy who brought out the lettuce made it for us. We ordered and started to eat the appetizers and chat. I've lived in California and Oregon for the past 25 years of my life, so I had a very disturbing hit into reality of other states. You can smoke in the patio area! I know smoking sections exist and I know you can't do anything about someone who walks by while smoking, but to sit where you want on the patio and smoke among non-smokers is just too much. It really wouldn't have mattered if it was the best Ma Po Tofu I've ever had in my life (and it was better than most because they didn't try to make it so hot that I couldn't feel my tongue anymore), the smoker sitting by us ruined everything.

Standard Americanized versions of Chinese food. Don't get me wrong I like the food and the drinks are great too, but authentic it is not. This particular location has better service than most. Their outside patio is nice. Even though it faces the street, there is a privacy screen that really makes a difference. Given that this one is at a mall, parking can be a hassle.

The food at this place was inedible because of the salt. The waiter kept discounting my complaints, saying, "It's a matter of taste." TASTE? I've never tried to eat such salty food. And I LOVE salt on my food. The pork dumplings were greasy and pathetic. Both entrees that I tried were inedible. How anyone can like this chain is beyond me. It just goes to show how ignorant Americans are about good food. The only review I should have read and "heard" was the one by a Chinese guy who gave only one star because he couldn't give minus stars...I"m afraid that's what will happen to me here. Pathetic, expensive, snotty waiter, horrible excuse for a restaurant. I will never darken their door again!

We finally tried P F Changs, it has been open for about 4 months and since it is very close to our home...why not... Some things that are good...they accepted our reservation for 2 and gave a conformation number, (which they couldn't find when we got there, but did give us a booth as requested right away) The interoir atmosphere is exceptionally nice Our waiter was only semi professional...we told him we were not in a hurry (we do not like to be in and out in 30 minutes), mistake.... When we did get our food..spring rolls, very good, Steamed dumplings were good but cold when they were served, ..our Orange Peel Chicken very good. Plates were not removed from the table promptly, ...were we supposed to use the spring roll plates for our dumplings?...and when they were removed they were left on a tray right next to the table... Overall I give P F Changs a 6...(room for a lot of improvement)

Because there are no decent Chinese restaurants in South Florida, PF Chang's is as good as it gets. I've never had a bad meal there, even on busy weekends, but even on a less-busy day, service can be slow. Not good when you're with a hungry child who's dying for lettuce wraps. Restaurant is crammed with tables and banquette-style seating, so if you're disabled, physically impaired, or have kids with tiny bladders, you'll have issues getting around to go to the bathroom. The sizable appetizer menu is great for kids because of the smaller portions, but there are no kid-friendly alternatives to the Asian fare (e.g., no hamburgers or chicken fingers). If you bring kids, make sure they can handle themselves in public and have a semi-adventurous palate. Or at least bring a good lunchbox meal from home. Ambient noise level can be high on busy nights. If you want to have intimate conversations with your dinner partner, sit close together at one of the banquette tables; else you'll be shouting at each other the whole time.

You can't go wrong with the chicken lettuce wraps to start. Really fresh crisp lettuce heads and warm, tender chicken. Enough to share, but the pork dumplings are good as well. Mongolian beef and orange peel beef are good entrees. The Mongolian beef is tender while the orange peel beef is nice and crispy. Some good lamb dishes as well. You don't see that too often at Chinese restaurants. For dessert, the flourless chocolate dome is delicious, and gluten free for those that rely on that. The banana spring rolls with ice cream and caramel is also good.

Great, tasty food. Food tastes exactly like it does at other P.F. Chang's chain restaurants throughout the country. No surprises. Loved the out door seating experience. Great service, a lot better than the last P.F. Chang's I visited in NJ.

the galeria location is not together . on two separate occasions had crappy food and worse service manager is useless and wont listen to very polite suggestions food is full of sugar ..yeach disgusting the pfchang downtown is much better

"one positive thing about chains is you get consistency" my life partner in crime Miriam W is apt to say. However this PF Chang's didn't get that memo. I have to say I find the one in Emeryville, CA to be pleasant and I never mind going at someone's invitation. This one however was an invitation I should have passed up. First the host was on the phone and couldn't eke out a greeting or a a "one minute please" then some other staff, they have so many staff, managed to find me a booth. Eventually another waiter found me and took my order. I kept it simple, they have no Thai Iced Tea, so I stuck with a California Cabernet (the best kind kids) and a Vegetable Coconut Curry. What could go wrong? Thanks for asking. My waiter's next appearance at my table was him showing up with an armful of dirty dishes putting them down on my table and then going "whoa!" and leaving with a laugh but never an apology. Then the wine, good, dependable, full bodied Lohr Cabernet. Then the vegetable curry on one plate with tofu looking blackened and another big bowl of brown rice. Midway through the meal the waiter brought me at plate to combine the two which was okay except that plates were kept right next to my booth and this could have been done right away. The Rice looked like it had something, mmm buggy in it. The vegetables were cooked to the point where you wonder if there is nutritional value left and the tofu. Dammit, why can't people do tofu right? And why does a chain with "China Bistro" in its name get it so horrifyingly wrong.

Excellent lettuce wraps. We enjoyed the pin rice soup and the Dan Dan noodles. Great for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
