Awesome place! Great service and the food is really good! I ordered the chicken pita and it was mouth watering. The veggies are very fresh. And don't forget to check in !

Healthy fast food with great prices and great service - I am happy. I like the build it yourself concept too. I had the Gyro meat rice plate with a side of Hummus and Pita. It tasted hot and fresh - despite the fact that I got take-out and walked back to my hotel to eat. Very generous portions and, as others have said, Yelp-friendly. A Yelp check-in got me the free Pita and Hummus.

not that big of a poster to Yelp... but this incident demanded I post something... over the weekend - I visited Gyroville for the first time ever. Finding out it was a chain - made me hesitate to try it out. But it was a GYRO, and with the outstanding Yelp reviews... had to go for it. I was there with a friend - and by mistake, I ordered first. I ordered the CLASSIC Greek meal. Gyro, Tysziki sauce, with lettuce and tomato on a Pita. I thought: "Quick, easy and simple - give me something to gauge your so called "5-stars" Gyroville..." Then my buddy ordered a Zeus (??). Whatever it was - it was a ginormous salad with three meats. Chicken, Meatball, and Gyro. Holy Hey Hey. After watching the salad come to life... My face must have been screaming "WAIT!! I screwed up my order!!" The man putting all of this together behind the glass - Ricardo - saw this and asked me "do you want to change your order?" BTW - my Gyro had already been made and was awaiting checkout. (You order the food similar to a Moes or a Chipotle.) But Ricardo finished up with the ginormous salad for my buddy, and then quickly went and got my Gyro - not sure what he did with it - but Ricardo took great care of me. I must say this in addition to the lengthy review of this place. The meal was outrageous. The food quality was excellent. But if there is anyone from any company - Ricardo at the Coconut Creek location - needs to be hired and put into leadership/management. This man lives like he was born to serve food. What a tremendous individual. You cant teach authenticity or a joy to be alive... Ricardo didn't just go over and beyond what was expected - he knew his product; he suggested other sauces to accommodate the salad, he was quick/efficient, but not sloppy or rushed. He gave each person equal attention, while making everyone in the entire vicinity feel welcomed... If it was up to me - I would open up a company - whatever Ricardo felt he wanted to do - whatever he was passionate about - and let this kid take it to the moon!!! He is a tremendous individual - and I'm hopeful that he will find all the success in his endeavors.

First off, this is a super Yelp friendly place so don't forget to use your Yelp Check-in. When you do, you'll get a small complimentary Yelp freebie of humas and pita bread. The humas is made fresh on premises every day and its very good. Gryroville isn't really what you would call a restaurant. It's a chain of what are more like sandwich or snack shops kind of like what Subways are like only that there food has a Greek theme and character about it, but of course a rather Americanized takeoff. When you walk in the menu is on flat screens over the food prep area. You place your order at one end and pay at the other end. The place is small and rather cramped. There are only about six or eight small two seater tables and an eating counter. Most of the tables are wobbly but if you put your feet on the bottoms of them they are easy to stabilize. The people who work here are super energetic, super friendly and helpful in every way which is something that really sets it apart from ordinary fast food chains or sandwich shops. Besides having their Yelp complimentary humas and pita, I had their "Posideon," $8.50, which contained a good piece of Mahi Mahi done Cajun, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, peppers and feta tzatziki wrapped in pita bread. The fish was of a fresh filet and all of the vegitables were crisp to the bite with a distinctly fresh taste. All in all, not a bad deal for $8.50.

Second visit and was kind of disappointed. The Greek salad was wonderful as before but the falafel was a HUGE let down. It was simply a ball of flavorless fried dough. I ordered a side of fries as I love fresh cut fries and they are wonderful however for 2.49 or whatever. ..I expected more than a small order of McDonald's fries. While I will return due to the proximity to my home and the Greek salad...that's all I will ever order there.

I had the gyro platter and my son had the kids gyro platter. I also had a side of stuffed grape leaves. Yummy!!! This place is a build your own gyro place. The food very good. The gyro meat is a combo of lamb and beef shaved very thin...just the way i like it. The platter came with Greek salad a choice of rice or fries as well as tzatiziki sauce and a warm pita. The tender grape leaves were perfectly stuffed with a well seasoned rice. The salad which you can also dictate what you want in it had just enough dressing to flavor it. My son enjoyed his gyro and fries platter. There are many other selections to chose from. First you may pick a rice bowl pita wrap or salad. Second pick a protein grilled chicken 100% beef meatballs chickpeas gyro falafel or mahi add a dollar for the fish. Third chose a finish...tzatziki sauce hummus medichurri or fresh veggies. This place offers combo meals and featured meals...like the Gyro Platter or The Mediterranean Caesar Salad or Aphrodite or the Poseidon....Gyroville also has small dishes like falafel and hummus or fries or rice etc... The kids menu is 4.00 which includes a fountain drink. The owner is very personable and prides himself on customer satisfaction. Thank you OZ, the owner!!! So please yelpers come check out this place! Its worth it!

I ordered the Zeus! Triple meat, chicken, gyro and meatballs with tomatoes and red onion and of of course tzaziki sauce. Taste and portions were excellent. Filled me up! Establishment is clean and service is quick. Definitely a good lunch/ quick dinner spot. Staff is more than helpful to helping you select an item on there menu. Small place not too good for groups, but doesn't not seem like they want to be that kind of joint. Geared for the lunch enthusiast. All the menu items are refreshingly innovative and beat the typical fast food fried garbage that most places offer. Thumbs up for sure, will return real soon!

So thankful I found this place. The employees (maybe the owner too?) were extremely friendly. They made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. I had a chicken gyro which was absolutely stuffed with chicken. So much so that I actually washed some off and gave it to my dogs. The sauce was yummy and the fries were pretty good even though they were a little bit soggy. I also got the hummus and pita deal for free when you check in here. I don't eat hummus but I'm sure it was good because the pita I ate was nice and soft.

Wow this was one of those "one-off", "just-passing-by-and-happen-to-be-hungry" moments and I love. Found this little gem tucked away in in a larger-ish plaza at the beginning of Ft. Lauderdale Uptown Business District. Can I just start off by saying - YUMMY. I love that this place couples the "make your own" elements which Chipotle graced us with, coupled with great Greek food. Hallelujah, some genius found their calling with this one. I went all classic with my order: pita, gyro meat, tomato, cucumber and classic tzatziki sauce - delicious. I saw they had spicy feta, a series of different sauces, and so many other personalizations. I cannot wait to go back when I'm in a creative mood. Service was friendly, quick and efficient. All the food looked very fresh and my meat was carved in front of my eyes - only enhancing my hunger! It's a little far from home, but whenever I'm in Laudy-Town, I'll be sure to hit it up for lunch. PS: Check in for free hummus and pita! Woo Hoo!

This place is a YES in my book! Service - 5 stars Food - 5 stars Ambiance - 5 stars From the moment we walked in we were greeted. Based on the lost looks on our faces the man behind the counter knew it was our first time and gave us a basic run through of how things worked. I ordered the Zeus on a pita and boy oh boy was it delicious. The chicken, meatballs and gyro were moist and flavorful. I've always said I wasn't a big hummus person but after having it here, I may just start drinking the stuff for the hell of it. My mouth is watering from the mere thought. This is not one of those places that you wouldn't visit again, I've already made a mental note to return whenever I'm in that particular part of town. Happy munching guys, I hope you'll give it a go.

I can't say it's the best greek food I have tasted. I was little disappointed by the slightly higher prices, as I'm used to greek restaurants in Toronto and Michigan where the prices are lower and the portions are a bit bigger. However, this is a good place to stop for lunch. I really loved the falafels (really tasty, fresh and big), also hummus was nice but I have tasted better gyro for sure.

Very good gyros. Nice combos. Fresh ingredients. I had a gyro & a Greek salad. They gave a nice large salad.

I'd been craving a gyro lately and this place is about a minute from my office so finally decided to stop in and give it a try (the final nudge came from signing up for their VIP email marketing campaign and receiving a buy one get one coupon). The place was empty and I had never been here before so someone who appeared to be the manager gave me a quick run down of how it worked. I got two gyro pitas made the same way, with jalapeno spinach tzatziki. I wish I had known that the "spicy feta" was a sauce and not a feta crumble or I would've mixed it up based on the favorable reviews it had. They were pretty generous with the toppings on each one, I was pleasantly surprised. A lot of meat, sauce, veggies. The gyro meat was very flavorful and tender, much better than I expected from a place that comes off as a Subway or Chipotle for gyros. They also cook certain items to order (the group behind me ordered meatballs, and I noticed him putting fresh ones on the grill as I was checking out) which is a huge plus considering the type of restaurant it is. Will definitely come back here again, especially if they want to send me more coupons. Interested to try the fries as well as that spicy feta sauce.

Carlee and Yasmin are the best!!!! Ok as we all know this is the best gyro in town, the freshest greens, best selection of toppings awesomeness! My brother is visiting for 1week and wants to eat here everyday but seriously the girls make us feel so welcomed we love eating here!!!!!

The service was great. Everyone was so nice. I do prefer the falafel pita to the gyro pita. The gyro was a bit dry. The hummus was delicious.

  • Sean R.

You get what you pay for, right? Not in this case. A little over priced. I ordered a traditional gyro with a side of meatballs. The gyro was stuffed with more veggies than meat, but the meat was a bit tasty when I got a bite. The meatballs, not traditional Greek meatballs, in fact they were meatflats. No ball shape. And they were sponge like on the inside. If you squished them the juice/water would soak back inside. In a pinch, I might go back for a lunch gyro, light on the veggies, but that's it.

  • Andrew W.

One of the best gyros I have had. Walked in and the manager, I think, explained the menu and the many different options available. It's nice to have that kind of service even if inky for fast food. Good prices and good food. Highly recommend for everybody in the area.

I was thrilled to find this place in a strip mall by my office. I ordered just a classic gyro, no onions. I took it in my car back to my office about 10 mins away. HOLY GARLIC! I didn't get the onions because I didn't want to have onion breath all afternoon but it appears as if the tomatoes are perhaps soaking in a mixture of something with tons of garlic. Either that or the tzatziki sauce was full of garlic. Honestly, it tasted good, but the over powering garlic was killing me the rest of the day. And my car still stinks today - more than 24 hours after going. I'll stick with getting my gyros at Olympia Flame diner or Ethos for now...

I have been coming here since it opened and is always on the money. Yesterday I had a Gyro and as always it is packed with meat and is topped with some fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions and Tzatziki sauce, As a side I had some Falafel which was friend golden brown.

  • Kristina N.

It's a standard fast food gyro place. Nothing mind blowing. But they are pretty generous with the toppings. Not too shabby for a cheap, fast gyro place. It satisfies the craving/gets the job done

  • Ani L.

The food here is great. Everything is made fresh to order and the flavors are strong and delicious. If you don't like onions, garlic, olives or spicy food, this place probably isn't for you. My only area where I would recommend improvement is in the speed of service. I understand that because everything is made fresh it will take longer than most fast food places, but during the lunchtime rush they really should have two fully capable employees working. I've been here twice and both times the service was a little slow. The first time there was only one employee working. On my second visit there was one experienced employee and one trainee, which was the equivalent of less than one fully capable employee. The bottom line is for around $8-10 you can get a tasty meal that's freshly made and pretty healthy too. If you're pressed for time, you should probably go somewhere faster, but if you don't mind a little wait, you should definitely eat here.

  • Kate M.

A little on the pricey side for lunch but pretty good. I had the traditional gyro with lamb and tsatziki with the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions and the free side of hummus and pita with a yelp check in. Because of the free hummus, I felt like I got a pretty good deal for the money however the bill was over $10 just for the sandwich and a fairly small drink.

  • Bethany C.

The Gyro meat is delicious, toppings are very fresh, and the staff was friendly. It reminded me of a "Greek" Chipotle. They get you in and out quickly, with good quality food. We bought a Groupon to this place, and were so excited and impressed to see how great our food turned out. We hope they keep offering Groupons. (I've tried the pita and wheat wrap, both are good.) Also, the prices are very reasonable. We will be back soon!!! Thank you!!!

I only know of a few places to get falafel locally, so I'm so glad Gyroville is so tasty. Stopped on my way home from work to grab something quick for dinner. Ordered a falafel wrap with veggies and roasted red pepper hummus. The guys were very patient and answered all of my questions as the menu had changed since I'd last been there. He made the falafel while I waited so it was cool to know everything is super fresh. Very cool place to stop and get some fast, yet fresh food.

Clean, fast, efficient and delicious. They're the chipotle of gyros as far as the build your own meal concept goes. Green sauce sure is spicy. Check in on yelp and get a free hummus. Will certainly be back. Friendly staff

Had the gyro. Their pittas are amazing. They really fill the pita up with whatever you ask for as well...meat and vegetables. I had the gyro, red pepper sauce, and my toppings of choice. The pita could barely hold it all. Don't forget to check in, you get a free pita and hummus. The taste was awesome and the value even better.

Why do I love gyroville? SAUCE!! Sauce is the secret to making any place great in my opinion. Plus if you sign up for their online emails you'll be getting deals about once a week - typically BOGO deals that are perfect for work day lunches. Everyone here is extremely helpful and will make it easy if it's your first time. The gyros are made as you like, but don't allow this to overwhelm you. I haven't ventured out much here and tried any of the sandwiches - obviously I'm coming for the gyro. And since I don't like getting all messy in front of coworkers I get the salad option - this is a BIG salad, so don't expect to feel like you just had a healthy meal after. I add gyro meat because it the best and then go crazy with the add on options - theres olives, cucumbers etc - don't skip the spicy feta if you like spicy - but this is all about the sauce. There's 4 options for tzatziki - original, red pepper, jalepeno spinach and a mustard one. Red pepper is the best and I get it smeared all over my salad as if it was salad dressing - I did say this isnt a place to be healthy!

This Gyroville has a corner location in a plaza with other places to eat. So, it's 8:30 p.m. and you haven't eaten dinner yet. Why should you consider gyroville? 1. No line. Sometimes, after a long day of driving, you just want to get your food and eat it without a wait. 2. Service is friendly, fast, and efficient. Again, when you are tired and don't have the patience to deal with incompetence, the service with a smile is greatly appreciated . 3. Need something vegetarian or craving a salad? Then order a salad or falafel here, you'll be satisfied. I've always wanted to stop by a Gyroville since I noticed it everywhere in So Flo. Luckily for me this location was nearby where I was staying. I pulled up, walked in, and took a gander at the menu. The employees were super friendly and was eager to answer any questions. I went with a gyro wrap with the jalopeno spinach sauce. Why did I choose a wrap and not a pita? I saw how small the pita was ,and wrongly assumed it wouldn't be as filling. I was proven wrong once I saw my bf's Zeus pita. His gyro was filled so much with meat and toppings that I thought he should of knifed and forked that beast. My gyro wrap was tasty with plenty of juicy slices of lamb and fresh vegetables. Not the best gyro in the state, but still pretty darn good.

Just came back from my second visit to gyroville. The first time I went was awhile ago at this point and I had a chicken gyro. I remember liking it, but I guess I wasn't blown away if it took me this long to go back. Today, after reading some yelp reviews I went again and ordered the chicken salad. First of all it was HUGE, it could probably be two meals, but I'm more the type to eat til I explode. It comes with olives, tomato, onions, cucumber, grape leaves, and I believe there was feta in it as well. The chicken was grilled nicely and the spicy feta sauce I got on top was amazing. The staff is great and made sure to ask me specifically about any topping to add. My only complaint is that it is a little cramped in there and I was early for lunch, so I'm guessing by noon or one it is quite jam packed. To go is something to consider if you don't want to be sitting on someone's lap.

I added a "tip" but I wanted to make sure Gyroville got a rightful review as well.. Fresh food for a cheap price! The pita bread was so soft- the whole thing melted in my mouth. Delicious! The guy behind the counter was also very friendly & provided quick service. My pita was definitely photo quality, but I was too hungry to take a pic. The beast in my stomach is happy now.

We had a party for 45 people and catered it from Gyroville. The owner, Oz, made everything fresh for us, delivered it, set it up with tin pans on stands and a flame underneath to keep it warm. The presentation was BEAUTIFUL, the food itself was OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD - the party was a total success because of the food. It's different from the usual catered food, everyone LOVED it - it was the best food at any party we've ever had. Oz was so accomodating and so kind, I can't wait to throw our next party and use him again. We had gyros, falafel, pita bread, rice, Greek salad, stuffed grape leaves and baklava for dessert - everything was just great - everyone asked where we got the food from - AND the price was totally reasonable. I can't recommend this place enough. The owner really cares. Thanks, Oz!!

When I am in the mood for a Gyro this is the only place I go. I always go for the Gyro wrap. It is stuffed with warm fresh gyro meat then all the freshest toppings one can pile on. I love it! I also am a huge fan of their hummus; it's freshly made and delicious. If you love Gyro then this is the place to go. The staff is also very fast and super friendly. So fresh, friendly, fast and delicious, win, win, win, and win!

Different and unique concept of Mediterranean food. They make fresh falafel in front of you! Food is delicious and cheap too. They don't have the best seating arrangement but I guess that goes with this kind of concept.

I'm in town for a conference, so I had to eat at restaurants within walking distance of my hotel. This was a nice little find. When I walked in, the guy behind the counter greeted me and explained how the menu worked. It's basically a Greek version of Subway, which totally surprised me - but it was nice. I chose a gyro on wheat. Typically I've only been offered Tzatsiki (sorry if I butchered the spelling) and the usual set up of lettuce, tomato, and red onions. Since this was a sandwich style version of a Greek joint, I was offered 6 different sauces (I topped my gyro with Tzatsiki and Spicy Feta Sauce), spinach, olives, diced cucumbers & tomatoes. DELISH! And it's a pretty big sandwich to boot. I also ordered a side of Falafel. I'm a big fan of the dish in general and can't say that I"m a connoisseur, but I've had some pretty awesome falafel before. And this...wasn't fantastic. It was ok. And I dipped it in hummus, which was also just ok.

Tried Gyroville for the first time tonight and was very impressed with my experience. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. Staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. You gotta try the hummus and pita side!

I tried the Athena gyro (chicken, pineapple, +other ingredients/garnishments) and found it to be very very tasty! Place is a little small but the quality, freshness and price is very right. Ingredients were all fresh and healthy too!

Gyro was pretty good. The meat was good right off the spit. Too many onions. Nice amount of meat and tzatsiki. The fries wernt cooked long enough. The baklava was cold and soggy. The free pita and hummus were good. Its all about who is working and today it was two young guys. They needed to pay a little more attention. 2 gyros, fries, bakalava, coke and free hummus for $17. It was a pretty good deal.

I came to gyroville because I was wanted some Mediterranean food. I ordered a chicken pita and some hummus with pita bread. It was very tasty. The food looks and tastes fresh, the store and food prep area look clean and the staff is very friendly. They know their food offerings and are proud of them. There are so many food options here in Fort Lauderdale so restaurants must go above and beyond to gain a presence in the community and to build a customer base. I think Gyroville did a great job of valuing me as a customer by offering me a detailed explanation on what I was ordering and also offering me a free sample of gyro meat. I will be coming back very soon to try a falafel wrap.

OZ is a rockstar. He listens to his customers needs and wants so much that he added falafel to his menu. Falafel is what brought me in to this Greek Florida based 9-location shop, and it was fabulously fresh and crunchy. Nothing like this place in the area, especially for the price. Fast service, attentive, and personable.

    (5)
  • Joe F.

It was fine takeout. Right opposite Hooters and healthier alternative than most of the competition nearby. Falafel gyro was spot-on for a lighter evening meal. Don't go out of your way for this but it's okey-dok.

  • Jordan N.

I thought the gyros were good - not sure if they're the best in South Florida though. The atmosphere of the place appears to be a bit dingy. The counter-side customer service wasn't great - they did no greeting and had forgotten to give us the sauce for the gyro. Overall, I was pretty underwhelmed and, unfortunately, I can't say much else because there isn't really much else to say.

  • Greg B.

My first visit was on a Sunday afternoon. I had a pita with gyro filling and spicy feta. Good stuff. I liked it a lot. I ordered rice on the side, although I hear the fries are really good. A little expensive for a fast-food place. My meal, with side and drink, cost a little over $10. As such, keep your eye open for Yelp Check-in deals.

Not sooo sure what everyone is hootin and hollarin about but this place is weak. Only went here because a friend said it's pretty good for the $ wasn't anything special and for $7, I'd rather starve. The chicken was cold, the wrap was bland and the dressing was ok. I would have rather gone to Chipotle across the way and got so much more for about the same price.

Made fresh to order, allowing you to customize your dish, with great looking and fresh ingredients. Tasted delicious and while I'm not a huge fan of French fries- they were amazing as well. People who run this place were very friendly also, which is always welcome. Definitely worth stopping by.

Mmmmm. I was here for work and wanted something easy for dinner, but not too pricey. Thanks, Yelp, for the find. Great menu, great choices, great service. The food itself was outstanding. Make sure to get the spicy feta sauce and put it on everything. Also, choices for all tastes (aka someone who wants veggie vs someone who wants lots of meet). Check in on Yelp for free small hummus and pita.

Food is good, but they mislead people to induce them into signing up for their "VIP club". I signed up for this in exchange for $5 off "on your next meal" discount. A week later I stopped by for my "next meal," but they refused to give me the discount because they had not processed my information. I pointed at my name on the clipboard, which by then had dozens of signatures below it, but they reiterated that the special processing had not been done so I wasn't entitled to the discount despite that I was purchasing my "next meal"

I was in town for work and this place was close to my hotel. I got the chicken souvlaki (sp?) and it was delish! Both guys behind the counter were very helpful. It was fast and tasty and I would def come here again.

I had a great lunch here yesterday. The concept is pretty easy and very similar to a Chipotle or Subway process where you go down the line with them and they add the items you want on your Pita, wrap, salad, or whatever you order. Being originally from Chicago, we had so many Gyro places that after being in Arizona for so long, I missed out on that. Now living in South Florida, there are so many great food outlets, but I am so glad to be able to find great Gyro place that is close to one of my offices. I was also able to take advantage of the Yelp Deal (Hummus & Pita Bread) that I kept for a snack later on in the day. YUM, it was pretty tasty. Their hummus has a nice kick. I also like that they have a loyalty program so check that out. One word to those of you who are new here. Make sure you figure out where the line starts. I had a little issue with this. It was totally not a big deal but I assumed I had to wait at the register, and next thing you know, a group of hungry lunchers passed me and got right into the line... I guess I need to pay more attention next time.. Grrrr :)

Tastey and reasonable. If you want a gyro this is the place. Clean, fast and reasonable. A number of options are available. I got the special and I was very well pleased.

AMAZING. Spicy Feta sauce is mind blowing. The manager was super nice. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended.

Gryroville is a great place to go for lunch in Pompano Beach. I have tried almost every one of their sandwiches and I would have to say that the Hermes with gyro meat added is the absolute best one in my opinion. It's a bit of an expensive sandwich when you add the meat, but it's so much food that you can either share it with a friend or have leftovers for dinner. One thing I really like about this place is all of the different flavors of Tzatziki sauce they have: the red pepper and jalapeno tzatziki are my favorite flavors. Gyroville definitely has my favorite falafels in town!

Decent lunch spot, had a pita gyro. I didn't think it tasted like authentic Greek but for a quick lunch, it did the job. It has limited seating so don't come with a big group. Overall, quick enjoyable lunch and wouldn't hesitate to return, but a lot of other options in this area.

Wow - $6 for a gyro wrap...a large one. Service is FAST - its a walk up style counter. There's variety in the menu but the food is GOOD. I went during a busy lunch time and was able to order my food, find a seat and eat in less than 30 min.

    (4)
  • Jason K.

The Hermes sandwich was really good, fresh shaved lamb for $8. Service was nice. However, I ordered a small side of hummus and it cost $2. Not with pita chips or anything, just a small little side of hummus for $2, and that just bugs me. If it wasn't for that, I would have gave this place 4 stars, but I feel that it got ripped off, and that doesn't feel good.

The food is ok if you're hungry and want something fast and semi-healthy. However as a woman alone I would not recommend sitting there by yourself. The owner comes to talk to you telling his sordid sexual stories. Graphic description ahead: There was one time when he even had a sore on his mouth and sat in front of me as i'm eating for the food I PAID for mind you. He's going on and on about his sexual escapades in detail. Yeah nothing "better" than eating the food you paid for with a guy with a sore in his mouth talking dirty to you. IMAO. I got my receipts of how much money I spent there. But NO more. Very annoying.. I was a very good customer because I do like Greek food. The rest of his crew isn't that friendly either. You tip them and they do not even say thanks. They have the personality of a rock.. I guess you could say customer service is NOT their forte.

I LOVE this place! Amazing food, Staff is friendly and being a server...Its as good as it gets. I always get the Gyro with the spicy feta sauce and add their kalamata olives. YUM! Great Portions and always fresh. A+

Very friendly staff! Food is good, fast and price is reasonable. Healthy option if you're out for a quick bite.

always good food and friendly staff, i always get a regular gyro 90% of the time and it's a very tasty meal and priced right.

I'm a vegetarian so I always love options that aren't "salad or side dishes". Gyroville fits the bill nicely! Several menu items are vegetarian and you can customize your order since you are standing right there as they make it. I had the Aphrodite wrap (falafel, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, hummus and some kind of sauce) and a side greek salad. Yummy! Too bad they don't have these in NC.

Not bad if I lived in this human garbage dump they call Florida, I'm sure I would come here a lot :) OK priced and pretty good all around. Staff were pleasant. Love the bad 2000 Goa trance music! Felt like I was working out whilst stuffing my face at the same time.

*Since I didn't get to try any food here I'm writing this solely based upon my experience with the customer service. So I'm in the mood for Gyro and I walk into the place and up to the counter where there is a man standing there. Mind you I have absolutely no patience for lousy customer service and one of my major pet-peeves is when no one say's "hello" or "how can I help you" when you walk into a place. So I stand there and wait for the man to say something while he just stares at me. After a few moments then another server walks over and asks if there is anything wrong and I tell him that this guy is just staring at me and hasn't said one thing to me such as, "can I take your order" etc. Server 2 didn't acknowledge what I said and then says "how can I help you" while the other guy is still staring at me. So at that point I tell them that I'd rather take my money elsewhere and leave. It is such a shame to see a place that hasn't trained their employees on how to greet someone as they enter.

I will start with the good. The Food: The Chicken Souvlaki is what i always get. I really enjoy this. The chicken is always flavorful and soft. Never any burnt pieces. The tzatziki is awesome. I always ask for extra because i like to have it with my french fries. My second time(which was my last time), the french fries are overcooked. I might have gotten 1 soft french fry. I don't really understand how feta cheese is extra when this is a Greek restaurant. Isn't Greek food known for feta cheese? The service: First time i went here, the younger guys seemed to be frazzled. They were super slow & were not coordinated at all with each other so a lot of bumping into each other was going on. No confidence working directly with customer. I could also hardly hear what they ask. They mumble and talk too fast. At the register i made it clear that the orders i placed were separate. But of course, they charged me for all, after being pretty direct. LISTEN!! The second time i have been here, I made it clear once again, that there were 2 separate orders. Each had tzatziki sauce. each had french fries. one had cucumbers on the side. BOTH ORDERS WERE DIFFERENT. I get to the register, the owner, it seemed to be, or manager, rings me up. He clearly saw that i was specifically stating the orders were separate. He asks "Hera with french fries, Gyro with french fries?" I say "Yes". He says, " Your total is $16" I pay with a 20, thinking he said $6, but no, because he did not speak up it got paid until i see that the receipt. I ask him why $16? these are separate. He says " I JUST ASKED YOU IF THEY WERE TOGETHER, I ASKED HERA WITH FRIES? GYRO WITH FRIES?" I replied: That's not asking if they are separate i just told you and the other guy these are separate. SO he gets all huffy and puffy and refunds the money from the 20. WORKERS OF GYROVILLE, SPEAK UP WHEN YOU ARE SPEAKING WITH CUSTOMERS. AND TALK CLEARER. YOU'VE REALLY UPSET ME WITH THE LACK OF SKILLS.

The meat tasted more like corned beef. It was overly salty and I love salt. The tziki sauce was good and the pita was soft and delicious. I was craving a gyro and was let down. I haven't been there since it's opening week when it was called "Mr. Gyro". And now I remember why I won't go back for awhile.

love the Gyro on pita or the wheat wrap.. build your own :)

Falafel is made from a dry mix - the kind you add water to. Also, there is no tahini sauce. Instead, there is a watery reddish hummus they add which ALWAYS has drips of dairy/taziki sauce mixed into it.

This is my absolute Go-To for lunch. The combinations offered are limitless and the staff is second to none. When the manager noticed I no longer ate meat, he said, "Hey you know you can put Mahi on that salad, right?" I had no idea. They make an awesome greek grilled cheese. Their food is fresh, always warm and delicious. They offer deals if you eat there often like I do, and their coupons are great. Yes, I like Chipotle, but I LOVE Gyroville!

I was here yesterday for the first time and it was so awesome that I'm here again today! 2 days in a row and if I wasn't going out of town tomorrow I would most certainly be here. so awesome to know that I found my new favorite Greek restaurant. Very clean wide variety and LOU and Gill hook it up!!! Can't go wrong with the Zeus and excited to try to rest of the menu in the future

Wow, that's one of the best Gyros I have ever had. My family is Greek, so we tend to be very picky. Try the spicy Tzatziki sauce.

  • Margo P.

I love this place! The owner is very nice and the staff is great. I always get the gyro on pita bread (which is always fresh and fluffy) with the spicy feta sauce. I have been coming here since they opened and I haven't tried anything else on the menu because this is so good!

    (5)
  • Erik D.

Love this place, pita wrap with chicken, hummus (they got awesome hummus),lettuce and tomato is amazing.Plus Danny (I think that's his name),is always nice and the rest of his team as well.Look forward to my next visit,oh yah you'll want more then 1,just sayin!

  • Taj M.

Has great potential, however Ive had better Greek food. This place is very pricy and pleasant staff. The staff here is obviously told to interact with the customers but the few times I visited there they forgot to add my peppers to my food. I would not go back.

    (2)
  • Angela D.

Oz, the manager, always works to make sure the customers are happy. The food is fresh and delicious. They have a great rewards club. I go there at least once a week since I moved here. I have business meetings there because there are food options for anyone including vegetarians and you can get in and out without waiting for a server. It's a quick service restaurant where you order what you want at the counter. Prices are reasonable and parking is decent despite the busy shopping center.

  • Manolis K.

Had an appointment at holly cross medical right down the street and I was looking forward to going here afterwards for lunch before my drive up to PBI.....I must say I was very dissapointed. this tasted like the "deli gyro" that Publix was carrying 5-6 months ago by their cold cuts area. worst Gyro that I've ever had...period. The pita tasted like it came straight from the plastic bag? not even having the decency to warm the pita on the grill. the Tzatziki sauce was awful. 0% garlic taste, 0% cucumber taste, who made that sauce? I am seriously wondering how easy it is to please everyone one of those 4-5 star ppl" ..........0% Greek food.

    (1)
  • Stephanie H.

I've never been to Greece, but this is the best gyro I've ever had! I seriously find myself having withdrawels almost every day. The meat is so tender, veggies so crisp and the pita bread is so soft/gooey. I used to hate stuffed grape leaves until I had it here.... Everything is amazing!

    (5)
  • Jacob G.

I can't remember the last time I had a bad meal here...I've had everything from a gyro platter to a steak salad with hummus. The staff is courteous and patient with my sometimes off-the-menu requests...and the food is delicious every time! I eat here at least once a week and look forward to the days I can go and have lunch here!

  • Sue G.

Pretty good for fast food style Greek food. There was actually a good assortment between gyro, chicken, pork, fish, and vegetarian choices for 'proteins' as well as 'bread' choices and some ok grape leaves, which are one of my favs. All and all, since it's so close to me, I'm a new fan for a new take out alternative!

  • Keith H.

When I first read the reviews for this place I figured it was the owner hyping his restaurant. I have been two times. -First time I had the chicken gyro. Nothing special. The chicken was over-cooked on the grill causing it to be dried out. -Second time I had the Gyro which was amazing. Instead of the traditional tzatziki I had the spicy feta sauce which was so good. They have three or four gyro towers going during lunch. -Both times they had some of the best fries in all of south Florida. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. I would guess they are double fried. And they use good salt!!! This is so important for good fries. And they had a good lunch special. Sandwich and fries for $5.99. No drink included though. I will include this place in my regular rotation of lunch spots. I work near by.

wow...I don't remember when was the last time that I had a good fresh gyro like old style...I used to live in Chicago and there are many Greek restaurants that I used to go...A friend of mine recommended Gyroville and I wanted to give a try...they are very authentic...The gyros are fresh cut, juicy, not dry... the salad bar optional...you can build your own...After I created my own it became a giant gyro sandwich...and French fries...Glad to find fast and fresh food in the area...The owner also offered me different sauces to try...all of them taste good but I love spicy feta...Friendly staff...

First visit to this place and got to say I am a fan. The Zeus gyro was excellent. I will definitely visit again. Oh.. and i would suggest getting the spicy tzatziki sauce for sure!

  • Aaron A.

Love this place. If you want a gyro or falafel it is right up your alley. I'd go with the wrap instead of the pita, it hold the food a lot better. I like their many options on sauces from flavored tzatziki sauces to hummus. Definitely recommend it.

  • Patty S.

Great tasting food. Their gyro meat is very flavorful. The place is clean, small, somewhat affordable but those guys making your food are not so friendly. They always look sweaty and they have kind of an attitude. The same place in Boca has a much more friendly atmosphere despite of the not so friendly town reputation.

    (4)
  • Diego M.

This one gets 4 stars.. Quick, fresh and delicious Gyros. The lamb meat stares at you on these rotating warmers while you wait for them to shave it and prepare your Gyro! You can't go wrong with Gyro (with extra tzatziki sauce) and Greek side salad! Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Sorry - I don't see the fascination. Gimme a Greek mom and pop shop any day over this. Gyro meat was shaved too thin and very greasy. Salad was more like an Israeli chopped salad, but it was fresh. Fries were fresh too. Tzatziki sauce was watery/oily. Zero atmosphere. Service was good. Go for the sandwiches and avoid the platters.

I had a gyro pita which was pretty good. I will definitely go back and try something else. I did also try the hummus and spanokopita, also, not bad. It's a little small inside but you can definitely eat there. I took it to go because it was pretty full.

  • Nina M.

This is one of my frequent stops for my lunch break since I work one street over. The tzatziki sauce is amazing. I get a little extra on the side always because it's that good. At lunch--- it get's VERY busy. So, I suggest going either before noon or right after--- otherwise you won't have a spot to sit (the place is a little bit on the small side but that's because everyone wants to eat there for lunch!). My two favorites are the Hermes (add gyro meat) and the Aphrodite... The portions are more than enough and will keep you coming back for more. Also- try their Gyro combo with fries-- just don't take it out of the wrapper while you're eating it otherwise it will be very hard to eat! Enjoy! I know I will! ;) PS- Be sure to ask for a loyalty card and to get it stamped... After 12 stamps-- your next meal is FREE! WOOT!

  • Kara K.

Our very most favorite place for Gyros. The spicy feta is phenomenal! If you sign up for their newsletters, they send you great specials and don't bomb your inbox. The pita is a traditional Greek style pita, not the flimsy type. We love the gyros so much that we haven't tried anything else on the menu but if the gyros are any indicator, the rest will be amazing too!

round 2 with a big salad with falafel goodness on top, big chunks of feta and a grape leaf, spicy feta and tzatziki sauce and some patates(fries), they are all that and more! the owner is so freaking nice, def awesome place

I love gyros so I decided to give this place a shot. I was not disappointed! I trie the Zeus which is a super gyro with three meats. It's topped with red onions, tomatoes, cucumber and of course the yummy Greek cucumber sauce, tzarziki. I also got s side of fries which were awesome. It felt like I was at the fair! I will definitely be back for more!

I am a HUGE fan of Greek food, and I have found what is among the BEST in South Florida, at the unassuming intersection of Cypress Creek and Andrews. FRESH salad, SUPERB tzatiki, moist GYROS meat, and PERFECTLY CRISP freshcut fries. My God, thank you. I now live in Hollywood (I used to live right around the corner), but now every time I am on 95, and passing Cypress Creek Rd, my first instinct will be to swerve smoothly over to Mr Gyros and suck down as much as I can . . . then order some to go. It's THAT good.

My new favorite place!! They are fast and the food is delicious. My favorite is the falafel salad. Everything is FRESH and the staff is super friendly. Definitely go visit Mr Gyros!!

Their Gyro's are amazing, the tzatziki sauce, I would almost drink...lol I actually had one yesterday and sooo tempted to go back there again today. Definitely the best Gyro I've had in Florida. You will not be disappointed. The only downside is, it's size. very small place. But very friendly. I would recommend it, for sure.
