We found this place on grubhub. Next time I order from this place, I'm going to call because it took grubhub a while to send the order. It took about an hour and 20 minutes to get my order because of the grubhub delay. The delivery guy was super nice. And our food was hot! I got the chicken gyro with fries and my boyfriend got the chicken parm sub. There was SO much food we couldn't finish (leftovers)! It was amazing! They even got our modifications correct! Going to order from them again SOON!!!

Have ordered from here in the past without problems. But the last two experiences leaves me not to go back for a third. Not sure what is going on here, but definately a change in business practice has occurred. I ordered a large pizza and half doxen rolls on Thursday march 13 at 809pm. by 9pm we still had no delivery and we live less than 5 minutes from the store. I called at 917pm and a loud voiced woman answered and then put the phone down, by the time she came back on the line and i heard all the conversations in the background going on, the delivery man was at the door. So I said, Okay, the delivery just arrived while I was waiting for you to return to the phone". To which she responded to me " well its only been 2 minutes over an hour anyway" O_o What type of response is that and it was more than 2 minutes over an hour. But i just overlooked it and said Thank you. My sons opened the pizza and it was stone cold and so were the rolls. everything had to go in the oven to heat it up. I didn't bother to even call since the first call did not evoke such a great response. So $30 for cold pizza and rolls we waited over an hour and 15 minutes to have delivered and then had to use my oven and energy to re-heat it. There is a definite change to the bad going on at this place.

Ordered 2 pizzas for pickup the price was around 26.00. They told me that it would be ready in 20 minutes. So in 20 minutes I pick it up and was back home in 10 minutes. One Pizza was fresh and perfect. the other pizza was old, like it had been sitting around a few hours and they through on some toppings, reheated it and gave it to me. The cheese was solid and the crust was hard and chewy. This was first problem I ever had with Grande and I was surprised. So I called the restaurant to let them know and maybe get a credit for another visit. The manager told me I picked the pizza up 45 minutes after the order was ready! She told me that it was my fault the pizza was bad! Then the conversation got heated, as I don't enjoy being called liar, and I shared my opinion on her attitude. The bottom line is, there are hundreds on pizza places in any given area. Avoid this one when they are busy! That is unless you like old pizza and bad customer service.

This is a 2 part review - wanted to use both Groupons before finally committing to [virtual] paper Part 1 - Today, October 30 - great Halloween decorations. Empty when we came in, a few more people came after about half an hour. The server was polite, attentive but I got the feeling that she'd rather not be there.. Once she took our order she had to tell the cooks to get back inside ... that was a first. I was hoping it would be as good as Esposito's since they are the same company I guess. So a few comparisons are in order. Anyway, we ordered garlic rolls with cheese and a crusty cheese pizza with mushrooms and onions. The rolls came fairly quickly. Looked like Esposito's - very good, browned nicely and most important, not dripping oil. I made this observation to the server - at that point I was happy. A bit prematurely, because once I started ... well, all the grease was on the bottom. We ordered a dozen because it was only $2 more than ordering six. The freezer to the rescue. We each managed to eat two - they were very filling. Just as well because the pizza took a really long time to come. We had ordered the crusty cheese at MH's request, but once it finally arrived my heart sank, literally. It was crusty, glistening, the way I'm sure it's supposed to look, but oh my god, so much cheese and oil that all I could think was heart attack. The butter knives provided were not enough to cut that sucker, only with a great deal of force that repeatedly sent the pizza spinning on the plate. Re: toppings, we ordered mushrooms and onions - they didn't have ground beef, only meatballs. Frankly I was disappointed here too - the quantity of the former was miniscule, maybe half a handful and the onions were chopped (instead of sliced)very fine - barely visible. Last time I pay 2.50 per topping without asking questions first. Re: the leftover pizza. Of the 10 or so pieces we brought home, one was eaten. That one by my husband for lunch one day. Right afterwards he commented on how stuffed he was and fell asleep on the couch for the next 3-4 hours. Now while this is not completely unheard of, the speed and duration of the pizza knockout was rare. Incredible energy-sapping powers batman! ok, part 2. This time we resolved to go smarter and only order subs. A good decision. They were good, particularly MH's steak. Unlike most places where the steak is chopped, this sub had a hearty whole piece on it. My only comment on them is that the prices were high, especially given that the large is a 10 (not 12) inch. Our total for 2 subs, a beer and tip was about $30 or so. However, the waitress was much nicer, friendly and caring. It was comfortable eating there. I would recommend it, and pizza if you go with a crowd.

What a horrible experience. Ordered a $35 order inline. Arrived and not even started. One of the employees had order form in pocket. Then , standing at the register to pay as it was being rung up and a ignorant employee to me to step to side so another customer could be helped! Poor customer service and disorganized. Will NEVER return and will tell others. The tall female employee needs to retire !!

Our server was super friendly and on top of things. We ordered an XL cheese pizza, and two lasagna lunch special that came with garlic rolls. The manager(?) informed the server and us that she was just going to reheat the cheese pizza that was previously made. Um...okay, we're pretty easy, so okay. Although, I could see where this may make someone upset (just a note: the server hesitated and made sure we were okay with it). The pizza was still good rebaked. The garlic knots were great on top. Evenly browned with ample garlic and parmesan. I wouldn't recommend eating the bottom unless you want to suffer mild cardio infraction due to the overwhelming amount of oil. The lasagna was sitting in half an inch of greasy water, which leads me to believe that it was previously frozen. It also had a funky taste. Alas, we were hoping for a bit more as we are big supporters of smaller businesses.

We have ordered from here a few times. My husband likes the pizza, but I think it is mediocre at best. Frustrating when you order for pick-up, and arrive to find your pizza has been sitting under a warmer for quite a few minutes. For the price, I think there is much better pizza to be had. And the frying oil tastes off.

I've tried most of the pizza places in the area and Grande is a step above chain pizza places like Domino's and Pizza Hut, but not quite the New York Style I've been looking for. The sauce was eh and the crust could have been more crisp. We also ordered the mild wings which were surprisingly bland...seems kinda hard to mess that up. Delivery didn't take too long, but it's a bit pricey considering the very average quality and many other options around. It's worth another shot, but not a place I'd regularly order from.

Once again... trying to find an amazing pizza spot. What else can a girl ask for but good cheese, great sauce and a decent pie? I didn't get that here at grande's and although their flavor of ingredients was above the norm... I still was lacking that awesome cheesy pizza. I think that the prices are way to high for you to either dine in or take out. I HAVE DONE BOTH! My experience for take out was pleasant. The food was ready on time as stated, it was hot and it was fresh, just not top ingredients. When My husband and I dined in the experience was OKay. The service was slacking and the place is very small. They do however have a nice sitting area outside for those who want to enjoy a nice fresh air setting. I wouldn't mind eating here again, but I want quality and if I had that I wouldn't mind paying top dollar for a good pie. For what they offer, I don't think it is worth the price.

I ordered my food through Grubhub.com on 1/8/13. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sub with onions, peppers and white American cheese. I also ordered fries with ketchup. They were more than 30 minutes early. I ate the fries first, even though they were still pretty hot. They were crispy and very tasty. It's the way steak fries should taste. I put ketchup on the sub. It was still hot and I enjoyed every bite. Excellent Philly cheesesteak sub. I might just order from them again today!

Surprised to see the reviews here. They literally are all over the place. Many are from many years ago so not sure if they have possibly changed owners, management or staff but I do know I am very happy with this restaurant. We have been here at least five times now, twice we dined inside and the rest we did take out. Honestly it is more of a three star restaurant but the service and consistency of the food is solid so I bumped it up by one star. It is very small inside, although they are remodeling right now as they took over the space next door. I know the staff are looking forward to their expansion. They do have around ten tables or so inside and some outside as well. When you walk in there is a counter with the pizza oven right in front. The staff are always so friendly and give excellent service. The name of this establishment does not do it justice. They offer a fairly large menu with salads, soups, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and other entree's. They make excellent soup here. Hubby had the Italian wedding soup last week and he loved it. We have never tried the pizza here but I have seen fresh pie's come out to other patrons and it looks very good. They have amazing garlic rolls, just as I like them, fresh, tons of oil and garlic and very addicting. My favorite dish here is the Eggplant Parmesan. I am super picky with eggplant. I do not like my eggplant breaded and fried. This dish comes with soup or salad, choice of side pasta and two garlic rolls for under $15. This eggplant is not breaded or fried, the sauce is very good, not sweet at all. Very nice flavor on the marinara which is used over your choice of pasta as well. Then the fresh mozzarella cheese drizzled over the top makes this dish so good. Baked to perfection! Location is in my neighborhood making it very convenient. I am super stoked to have found a place where I love a dish so much, it will have me return often. Great find as most of their pasta dishes are better than some other Italian places in the area for much more money. Very casual, great service, very reasonable prices! Ciao, see you soon!!

I've been eating at this restaurant off and on for maybe 7 years. The food is very good. I enjoy their pizzas, the pastas are delicious. The garlic rolls have a bit too much garlic for my taste. I've also had their calzones and soups. Everything I've ever eaten from this restaurant has been made to order, very well seasoned, and delicious.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
