Love love this little gem located on 17th street causeway. It's my go to lunch place with the girls. Today it was my friends bday and we decided to go here. We were seated right away, lucky we got inside it was really hot out. They gave us menus with the specails and brought us fresh rosemary rolls wth homemade hummus. Yummy! I ordered one of the specials which was griiled swordfish on greens. The salad was very fresh with one of the best oil and vinger dressing I have had. My friend ordered the soup and sandwch special, it was beef lentil soup and tuna sandwich. She loved them both. They have a full case of food which you can order for take out. They make some of the best milanese chicken or veal, served on salad or sandwich. They have pastas and pizza that everyone said is so awesome. I have had their crab cakes and scallops and both were amazing. Now for dessert they are all homemade and they look and taste delish. They have wine and beer and plenty of soft drinks. The service is friendly and fast. They have limited parking so you may have to park in the back. Prices are a little above average but well worth it.

What happened!!? I was there last month with the family and things have changed! Two of our guests ordered chicken Marsala, never ever had it without mushrooms and the chicken was chewy and had the most disgusting taste!!! The pizza was burnt. The soup was ok. The tiramisu was the only item that was consistent to other times we've been there. Sad when we asked about the food, and the server said... We've got a couple of kinks in the kitchen now and we're trying to get rid of them, and made a gesture as to insinuate needing a new kitchen staff. It's bad when the servers recognize the kitchen isn't up to par. We sincerely hope you get it back together Giorgio's, we had many amazing meals there and used to recommend you to everyone!

Food here is hit or miss. Scallops I had last time were great, but the meatballs I had a time before were very dry. I had pizza there a few times, it was ok, not the best not the worst I ever had. I would actually give the food 4 stars, but service is horrendous consistently! Older gentlemen, who served us every time shouldn't be a waiter! Any time you ask for anything, even if it's the silverware he forgot, he acts like he's doing you a huge favor. That's your job dude! And last time he overcharged us!!! So make sure you check your bill before you pay it ;-)

I thought I reviewed this place but can't seem to find my review! Stopped by on a Friday night and they had 50% tapas and I was blown away. This is not a Pizza place (though their pizzas may be great) It is a fine Italian Restaurant! We ordered Bacon wrapped dates, Asparagus, Meatballs, Olives, Risotto Balls, and wine. Michael was our waiter and he was so much fun and really knew the menu and made amazing suggestions, great tips on the wine! I seriously enjoyed my food and the whole experience a 100% more than Anthony's Runway 84! The after dinner drink a Lemon something was so perfect! Will be back for sure!!

Excellent! I come here often for lunch and have never been disappointed. Wine selection is not good but food will not disappoint!

Great little Italian spot right over the 17th street bridge. Has a small outdoor area perfect for a cool night. Before your meal you need to try their artichokes to go along with the bread and hummus. They are among the best I ever had. For entrees I love splitting up a few dishes and ordering one of their amazing pizzas. Prosciutto pizza is among one of my favorite but you cannot go wrong with the blackened chicken pizza. Highlight of our night: Arnold palmers. Fresh squeezed lemonade with passion fruit ice tea. Perfectly sweet and refreshing.

We were here from out of town and at this establishment for three nights in a row. When you find something this good there's really no reason to look for another place to eat. They call themselves a pizza oven but there was a modest menu of their other standard dishes and a few special items. There were just a few waitstaff and they were very busy. We didn't find our wait to be very long though and the few oversights that occurred were pleasantly corrected. There were a half a dozen tables in the interior and about as many outside. The automobile traffic didn't detract too much from the ambience. The parking seemed adequate for the number of clientele. We walked there from our hotel. I had grouper all three nights. The last two nights featured a linguine presentation with said grouper, clams and scallops. My daughter, a fussy eater, loved the pasta I shared from this dish. I didn't poll the other diners but there weren't any complaints. My wife said it was some of the best pizza she's had. "The crust was perfect". For that matter everyone loved the rolls that accompanied our meals with not just butter but a delightful dollop of humus. Speculation was rampant about the origin of the subtitle spice accents of both. Finally, the Sauvignon Blanc they suggested was so tasty we bought a whole bottle. Please give them a try whether you're at the hotels or a local.

Decent Italian place. Chicken parm sub was great and for a good price, the fresh bread was nice and warm, not sure what the dipping sauce is, tasted like half cheese and half hummus...and the service was severely lacking. Would try the pizza next time, it did look great.

Staying at a hotel. Wanted to get carry out. Hotel gave us 2 menus. One was this place. The guy on the phone was very nice. The driver called 5 minutes before getting here to let us know he would be here soon. So nice ! Food was really good. We got soup, sandwich, chicken Parm and a pizza. All really good. Best advice is unless you have a fridge be careful how much you order. The portions are huge.

Giorgio's is as good as it gets. This is a spot where my family never fails to make it to when we are in the area. Not only is the food amazing but also the location could not be more convenient and easily accessible. If you are willing to wait or happen to show up at a good time, you can get a table outside. The service is superb and matches the cuisine in perfection. My family always gets multiple entrees to split as we can never decide on one each. We also get a pizza or two to split with the table. Small point but not to be overlooked... the bread. The bread on the table when you arrive is delicious and served with a flavorful humus spread that will give you the first taste of their amazing dinner.

Though Giorgio's is generally listed as a pizza place and sort of looks like it from the outside, it's really so much more in having a complete menu of "beginnings" inclusive of Maryland Crab Cakes, Antipastos, mussels (in a saffron broth or a spicy red sauce), bruchettas and sea scallops along with wide array of "Entrée Salads," "cold and hot board" sandwiches, pastas along with entrees of eggplant, veal, chicken or fish. I went for their Caesar which came classically prepared and when I asked for anchovy; not a problem unlike so many other places that either don't have them, won't alter for them or only give you one or two but charge you way more as an extra than several cans full of them would cost at any grocery store. For my main I went for the Snapper Livornese which came heaping in size covered with an abundance of linguini pasta, capers, mushrooms, onion, olive and marinara sauce. My service was casual, friendly, accommodating and polite within what is a sort of a small friendly café atmosphere. Also, for being within a strip mall location, it has a small outside awning shaded patio like dining area. Though I can't say I that went crazy about the food, it was darn good and the friendly service as well as good atmosphere of the place were real pluses.

Stopped by here and grabbed a pizza to take back to the hotel room. Pizza was ready in less than 10 minutes. Nice thin crust pepperoni pizza much better than the same old chain pizza places. If I lived near this place it would definitely be in my regular pizza rotation.

  • Lola Z.

I love Giorgios! Their Caesar salad is the best. They also have an awesome creamy balsamic dressing. Service is always superb. Pastas, pizzas and sandwiches are all good. Indoor and outdoor seating and if you just want to pop in and grab a little snack, they have a case of prepared items. Affordable and lovely little restaurant. You really can't go wrong. It's consistently good!

Awesome pizza and seafood salad!!! This is true NY style pizza. I can't wait to order from here again!

  • Amanda B.

Seating is not ideal especially outside. Liked the bread and hummus. Pizza was all around good and had big portion of eggplant parmesan. I've had worse eggplant and pizza in ft lauderdale and enjoyed my meal. I will be back again to try the salad and pasta.

  • Jamea S.

Disappointed. Pizza was gross, greasy, cold, and soggy. 100% over priced and it took an hour for delivery. I live less than a mile away. . . Rip off! I was given an estimated delivery time of "really soon" by the person who took the order who was adequetly cold. Deleivery took forever so the pizza was cold. $20 for a one topping pizza? no thanks never again. Maybe there other food is good? Idk I wouldnt risk it the pizza definitly is not

I have been hear several times now and the best things are the crab cakes. They are screwed up in South Florida most of the time but Giorgio gets them spot on; they should for $20.00. Today I had the Yellowtail Livornaise and that was a mistake. I like Yellowtail broiled with a little butter, parsley and lemon. I don't know what I was thinking of ordering it with all of that inexpensive olive oil and anchovey and I tasted no egg. Silly me. Their scallops are very nice, however and the rest of the bill of fare is fine for a quick drive by bite, but don't bother to ask about WiFi because the waiter told me they removed it because of the people that came in with laptops and hung around: seems somewhat spurious to me. I'm getting to the stage where I wont sit down if they dont have free WiFi. Ho hummm!

I had a margarita pizza and pasta figioli soup delivered to my hotel room. Seriously fast delivery (beat my hotel by 20 minutes where I requested 2 beers). Food was good for flavor but uninspired. Margarita pizza was just a cheese pizza. Either that or they gave me a cheese pizza instead of what I ordered. No fresh tomatoes on top or what I've become accustomed to as a margarita pizza in other cities. The soup tasted good but I think had been in the pot for a long time as it had a mushy bean texture. Again, even saying this, the taste and flavor were good and I would order food here again.

First time here, it was great!!! Great and friendly service!!! Had the vegetable and chicken soup, it was very good!! Also, a passion fruit-infused tea and the amazing Grilled Chicken Pizza!!! This is definitely a place I will visit again!! Very good menu items that I would like to try... The outside seating is perfect for the Fort Lauderdale ambiance!! Loved it!!!

This place is a gem! It looks like a bakery or deli, but the food and service is outstanding. Authentic Italian cuisine. We had the Penne Vodka and it was terrific.

Great Rigatoni Bolognese and salad. Full of locals, nice vibe, and good prices.

  • Rocki R.

We've eaten here a few times and their dinners are always good. The staff is always nice and good at suggesting what wine to pair with your meal. The prices are good on both food and wine. My only complaint is on the pizza. We tend to like our pizza well done /crispy. It came out soggy on a well done order so we had them cook it again with not much a difference the 2nd time. But their dinner menu makes up for that and love this place.

The food and service is good, nothing special or outstanding. My husband liked the prosciutto pizza, and we enjoyed a Caesar salad. I would recommend this place if you want some pizza that is better than papa johns or Pizza Hut.

This is truly the Italian restaurant, that is near and dear to me. It reminds of that old school joint, where they know exactly what you're having, as soon as you sit down. It's an eclectic crowd that comes in, but I wouldn't be surprised if one of these days, I rub shoulders with a mafia capo... I have ordered many of the appetizers, and main dishes..there are too many to rate, but I will say this..they are ALL GREAT..I mean..ALL OF THEM. A good sign of an Italian restaurant are a few things...their bread (which is always yum..comes with a nice spread that is tangy), good wine selection, and good "gravy"..for you non-foodies..that's marinara sauce as how Italians refer to it. This place covers all those bases. The customer service is top notch, and it's super clean..yes, I have a little OCD..and expect certain things, like a clean bathroom...nothing worse than walking into a joint, and it smells like garbage water on monday morning..the only exception are dive bars! Ok..so hit this place up..the caprese is great, and the italian staples, such as bolgonese are a great look as well.

  • Ward B.

Good food ,basic service, seating is a little cramped. This is like a high end pizza parlor. My wife says it has the best seafood salad in town.

    (4)
  • Tricia F.

Yum! Got the caprese salad and the grilled chicken pizza. The pizza was huge and delicious. Definitely recommend it. The bread basket was also good, their rolls were warm, doughy, goodness. Tiramisu was the perfect finish. Recommend this for a nice casual evening.

Worst restaurant ever! Food is bad, service is even worst. I don't recommend it. They didn't give us bread, they took one of our chairs even though we were using it. Servers were really rude.

  • Diana O.

Man that pizza was good!!!!! LONG time since I have had close to New York quality pizza!!!!!!! The crust was thin, cheese, sauce was all delicious. I did find it to be a little too salty but I enjoyed my marguerite pizza pie! The lady behind the register was honest, friendly and very pleasant to talk to! Price of the pizza was a little much but still worth it!

I found long piece of hair in my food & when I pointed it out to the waitress she did NOT offer something else or even say sorry. I couldn't eat over half my sandwich because the hair was wrapped around the turkey & in the cheese. All she did was bring me my bill.. for food I couldn't even eat.

Good food, but only one waiter had to serve about 15 people. Other than that this restaurant is very nice.

The best customer service we've had since landing in FLL. Stopped here for a turkey sandwich before heading out to board our cruise ship. Honey mustard was a little overwhelming but the food was still pretty good. Super awesome service. Totally worth the money. About 9 bucks a meal. Eat here!!!!

Awesome food in a little, cozy Italian restaurant. You would never think the place was as good as it is just by the looks. Service is excellent and the pizza divine. I always bring newbies to try it and it becomes one of their fave's also. Try the cold antipasti platter. It's perfect for two people to share and then order a small pizza. Perfect lunch or dinner! They always have daily specials. FUHGEDDABOUDIT!!!!!

Stopped in here while holed up at the Holiday Inn Express across the street waiting for a flight. Read the Yelp reviews before we went, and I have to agree, it was a great experience - excellent service, and great food. My husband and I were a little concerned at first because when we first sat down (on a Thursday night at 8:15) all the tables quickly filled up and we thought it could be quite a wait for service and food - man, were we ever wrong! My pizza came out before I even got halfway though my salad. I'm a born and bred New Yorker, and I have to say this pizza was great, which I never thought I'd say outside of the NewYork metro area. Real Little Italy style. The decor feels like an Italian delicatessen, and you wouldn't think much of the place being located in a strip mall, but you should definitely check it out!

    (4)
  • Alan L.

Hands down, best Italian ever! Small strip mall location, packed on a Sunday night (mostly locals). Best waitress ever. I ordered linguine with grapefruit sized meatballs! My wife ordered the linguine Alfredo with blacked chicken...(she said best Alfredo she ever had...how do I know? She would not share but a tiny bite!). It was OMG best tasting Alfredo I have ever had. While waiting we just kept observing the best (Huge) dishes ever seen on earth! Lasagne, red snapper, you name it...it was there! This adds to our must go back to place while in Fort Lauderdale!

  • Vinh N.

Great margherita pizza similar to neapolitan style. Prices are reasonable and cheaper than what I paid for something similar in California. Open until 10:30 on the weekend and they served people who come in at the last second without nary a sigh or an annoyed look.

Once a year I get down here for The Blue Wild Expo. I always stop at Giorgio's for lunch. Great food, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta and 6 different entrees salads for lunch. Italian food that so good you can't fuhgeddaboudit.

After living "around the corner: from this restaurant for almost two years, and NOT trying it, we had the opportunity of ordering "out' (for delivery) a pizza and some meatballs. I must say that the delivery was prompt and the food was incredibly HOT (temperature-wise) when delivered. But BEST OF ALL - the pizza was among the (if not, THE) best we've ever had locally - and so were the meatballs. This place is NOW on our "radar" - and we will be actually visiting the restaurant as soon as possible. Great food and location for really GOOD "casual" Italian food - based on what we have tasted so far.

This review is for delivery food. We were in Ft. Lauderdale on Super Bowl Sunday and wanted to watch the game and eat good food. Needless to say, everything was packed and there weren't any options we could find that had both. Giving up, we drove by Giorgio's and it just gave off a great vibe of a good Italian family restaurant. So we ducked in and checked out the menu and took it back to our hotel down the street. We ordered a pizza and an entree over the phone and it arrived on time and hot. They know how to package things. They included two giant loaves of really excellent bread, all the extras we needed, and a gigantic iced tea. The pizza was tasty and fresh, with great sauce. The crust was thin, but not too thin, with a lovely texture and crust. The chicken was cooked perfectly and came with some nice salad and pasta that was packaged up separately. It totally turned around my impression of Ft. Lauderdale restaurants as being loud, tourist traps. If we lived here, this would be a go-to place!

We dined in recently and it was a good experience. We shared the antipasto platter for 2, which was really enough for like 4 people to share, and it was big and delicious. Also had a nice salad and shared one of their brick oven pizzas. Everything was great. Lots of food at good prices for this area.

Since I travel to Fort Lauderdale on a regular basis, I found Giorgios to be the best Italian restaurant near the cruise port (17th street). Tonight, I had, quite possibly, the best Italian dish that I have had in a long time! I ordered the Yellowtail Snapper Livornese - mushrooms, onions, capers, black olives, served with linguini and marinara sauce. Enjoyed a glass of Shiraz with this entree. All I can say is that this dish was amazing! The marinara sauce is outstanding and the food is always delivered to the table piping hot! The bread is great as well. Indoor and outdoor seating with awesome service! So far I have never had a bad meal here.

Very attentive staff with food portions and quality better than little Italy in lower manhattan. Make sure to make a reservation as the number of tables is limited. Reservations are not honored if you are more than 15min late so be on time for this wonderful restaurant experience.

What a find. We ate there 2 of 5 days. Great food. The Parmesans, The Pizza, The Salads & appetizers were all very delicious. Top notch antipasto. Many regulars are there, as I felt that if i had been there one more time, I would have been recognized & treated as one. Wait staff was efficient & friendly. Great place!!!

  • Betsy J.

This was a very disappointing dinning experience. The service was hurried and unfriendly. We were never given a specials menu or water. They basically took our order and delivered it. I love eggplant and theirs was heavily breaded when the menu specifically says its light. By the end of the meal I had a side plate of unappetizing breading. My husband had the veal and polished off his plate but also said it was overly breaded. As a local I felt like they really didn't care if we were happy even when I told the waitress I was disappointed she still wanted to box up my abundant leftovers.

I don't give out a lot of 5 stars - I'm kinda stingy like that, but this place was great! Now granted, I'm judging from a delivery standpoint, so I have no idea what the decor of the place is or how good (or bad) the waitstaff is... so keep that in mind... I ordered a small roasted veggie pizza with a small caesar salad delivered to my hotel room (yes, still in this damn room). The order was smooth with a delightful woman taking my order. Incidentally, the lady who delivered my order was just as sweet. First my caesar salad was very fresh (no wilting pieces of crappy iceberg lettuce). Fresh, green romaine with perfect amount of sliced parmiggiano reggiano...The best part, though was the dressing. YUM! On the side, and with the perfect amount of lemon and anchovy paste (I love anchovy paste! It's not caesar dressing without it!) SO GOOD! Now, my pizza was equally amazing with fresh roasted veggies scattered over a fantastic pie! Eggplant, squash, tomatoes, mushrooms... SUPERB! Supposedly I am moving out tonight (that's making the HUGE assumption that the movers can get their sh!t together and get here already) But, I'm a little sad I discovered this place today. I think it is better than Anthony's for sure.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The chicken parm, chicken Milanese, penne with sausage, pizzas, salads are all some of my favorites. However what the specials and head over for the pot roast or skirt steak! And a great wine list to go with it all....and did I mention the awesome service.....

Came here for an early lunch while at a conference at the convention center. I didn't even have to ask for quick service- they seemed to be well versed in corporate lunch breaks. While efficient, the service was also friendly and welcoming- a great balance. I was pumped to get hummus in addition to butter with my bread, I thought this was a great touch. I ordered the penne primavera, a dish I order frequently as a pescatarian, and this one was fabulous. They vegetables were not overcooked but seemed to be steamed perfectly. The sauce was light and buttery, and really really delicious. The portion size was quite large, and I ate every last bite. Yes, I was hungry, but that's really a testament to how delicious it was. Have yet to find pasta I'm that excited about in my own neighborhood...

Though I cannot comment on the dine in experience, I feel compelled to comment on the most disappointing delivery service our family experience last night (a Thursday evening). I called in a single large pizza order at 6:30 pm that eventually showed up after 8:00 and luke warm. We live about 3/4 mile from the Restaurant on 17th street. I probably won't dine here again as the pizza was only okay and overpriced at $22. I'll go back to the tried and consistent Dough Boys down the block.

This place was across the street from my hotel. I chose to eat here after seeing the wood-burning oven in the back. I had a roasted veggie pizza and an arugula salad. I also had a couple of glasses of Chianti. The service was pretty good although I had to ask the lady behind the counter to ask my waiter for another glass of wine after I sat with an empty glass for a little bit. They put bread on the table promptly. A couple of rolls and a hummus spread, all good. The crust on the pizza was thin, foldable, and properly cooked down to the lovely black bubbles on it. There could have been some veggies on it for my taste. The salad was good also. The arugula was spicy and the salad had tomato wedges and large, thin slices of parmesan on it. The parm is the 6 month American version but... I will definitely visit here again.

Fantastic pepperoni pizza--NY style. Cheese blend on that pie was fantasmical. My salad with their house balsamic and marinated artichokes was addictive. I tried to will my body to create a 2nd stomach just so I could finish it. No such luck. The pre-dinner bread, albeit cold, was baked perfectly and had a Delicious hint of basil.

This is our neighborhood spot. When in doubt, let's go to Giorgio's. Excellent pizza, reminds me of the one I used to eat in NY. We typically order the sausage and peppers one. It's thin crust so you get all the flavors of the ingredients and cheese. We usually get a starter of the mozzarella cheese with basil and tomatoes which is a nice refreshing way to start. When you go, eat outside so you can feel the breeze coming from the ocean. Overall it's a nice place, friendly staff and great food.

We end up doing a lot of delivery during the week as our work schedules get hectic and its 8:30-9 before we even contemplate what to have for dinner or where to go. This is my new favorite delivery joint! The food here is really good, and we've had everything from the pizza (great), pasta (good), and sandwiches (awesome!). My favorite is the #1 on the sandwich menu... Prosciutto, Genoa Salami, FRESH Mozzarella, smoked ham, roasted peppers. It's frigging huge with a side of pasta salad for under $10!!! The bread is round (as opposed to a hoagie) and very fresh. My wife's favorite is their #9 Smoked Ham, Brie, Red Onion, vine-ripened tomatoes and Honey-Cup mustard. Im embarrassed that I didn't know about this place until recently. These guys are Brooklyn born and really have their act together. Pizza is not like Anthony's Coal Fired (local favorite), but it's great for delivery and good in it's own right. I like the Sausage and Roasted Peppers. We also like that fresh basil comes on the pizzas. Pizzas are cooked in a wood burning oven, which gives them a nice light neapolitan consistency. I live downtown and delivery is always less than 30 minutes!

Great little place! One of my favorite places to grab a quick meal with a glass of wine in Fort Lauderdale. You can get great food and a bottle of wine for a very reasonable price. Pizza's are awesome for take out.. I also hear they do quite a catering job. The place is a little small so you might have a tough time getting in there at peak times.

I'm in Fort Lauderdale for work for a couple of days and had Giorgio's recommended to me by a coworker. The restaurant is about a 2 minute walk from the Renaissance hotel and well worth going out in the heat. I had lunch here twice during my stay. The first experience was phenomenal-- the fresh baked bread and hummus that comes with your meal was right out of the oven on the first day was was to die for. I had a veal Milanese sandwich with baby greens and tomato. It was ridiculously good. The second day, the bread was cold and was not as enjoyable as the first day. I had a meatball sub which was a solid choice but nowhere near as good as the veal from the day before. The service is fine and place is really small and cute.

This is one of my favorite little local places that I love going to. Great food. Small intimate atmosphere. Makes me feel like I could be in a big downtown city. I love the chicken milanese. Great service. I always feel like I went somewhere special when I go to lunch here.

This place is great for delivery at the office. The food is perfect for eating while doing something else. I'm sure if you paid too much attention to the food, you'd be disappointed. I usually order their standard mixed green salad and I have a slice of the pizzas we order for everyone to share at the office. It's perfectly passable. We'll keep ordering from there as it's reasonable and reliable. Would I ever go there for lunch or dinner on my own? No.

We rolled into this place with our three kids on the last night of our vacation. If we would have eaten here on the first night, we would have dined EVERY night. Outstanding food and excellent service. Their caprese salad (Mozzarella Salad) is to die for! Great wine selection and pizza was pretty good. The rest of their pasta looked pretty good and I wished we lived close and could try some more dishes. Seriously... order the caprese!

After dropping by, I was looking forward to a real good Italian meal. The setting was pleasant and outdoor seating was nice. Humus and bread to start was a great initial point. The server recommended the Penne Bolognese which was only okay. It would have been nice to get a starter salad with it. Looks like the pizzas were better

My bf had pasta which he wasn't crazy about. My pasta was a little better and the salads left much to be desired. Much of the food went in the trash. I was a little sad because I had heard such good comments on the place. I was not totally turned off and would try again....probably.

Spent 5 days in Fort Lauderdale, on two occasions we ordered lunch from there. The sandwiches were big, fresh and came with pasta salad. The pasta meals were both excellent. And being Italian we know good pasta take out. You can't go wrong ordering from here.

For a small place there pizza was okay. I am still searching for a great pie. They do have a nice selection and they are reasonably priced. Everything is fresh and made on the spot to order. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would definately come again to try something other than pizza.

When our office orders lunch, this is one of my local favorites!! The cold sandwich selections are great - prosciutto, basil, mozarella, smoked salmon w/tomatos & onion, or veg out with a portobello/roasted peppers/mozzarella + olive oil drizzled onto a tasty sandwich roll. Hot sandwiches were okay but nothing to rave about. Moving along to the salads, these are really delcious salad options that fill you up like a meal should! The chilled seafood salad is fresh, oak grilled chicken over mixed greens w/ calamata olives and feta sheese is delicious ("mixed greens" includes arugula...yum!!) You cna't go wrong with the cesar salad, and the chicken milanese (lightly fried/thin sliced) is a good choice as well. Try it with the balsamic vinegarette (slightly creamy) and quite complimentary. Their pizzas are good but not their specialty ... their pasta selections are delicious and portions are generous. Eggplant parm is one of my favorites, served with a side of pasta and bread rolls (note: not garlic rolls). Overall a great place to grab lunch when you're on the go and craving a little taste of something Italiano.

Excellent sausage pizza. You can't go wrong here. Definitely not a chain. Real food for real people.

Solid delivery pizza (blistered crust, good crumbled sweet sausage), and a more than respectable caesar with fresh romaine, good dressing, and lots of shaved parm. Overall, it's hard to judge delivery because it's never as good after it steams in a box. I thought it was better and more flavorful than my sister's beloved Anthony's.

Went for lunch while in town for a cruise. Excellent food and service. Ordered the daily soup- beef and barley, meatball parm sandwich, and eggplant parm sand. Fantastic rolls with a homemade hummus with an Italian twist. The marinara sauce was amazing! Tony was our server and did a great job.

Ordered a salad for takeout and it was fantastic. Homemade dressing, homemade bread, and a pile of perfectly grilled and seasoned chicken on top. The place is small which is a plus, and has some outdoor seating. The wine list and desserts also looked good, so I'll be back.

Wow, did we eat at the same place as everyone else? We had to beg our waiter for water, over and over. He forgot that we ordered wine so we had to ask for that too. The pizza is nothing special - Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza on Las Olas and Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza both have much better pizza. The pumpkin bisque was flavorless. My pot roast (the special of the night) tasted like it had been soaked in chemical broth for two days to soften it up and then flash cooked - didn't even taste like meat. Mushy slabs of plasticine protein. Blech. The only good thing is that our waiter didn't charge us for the pot roast because I left it in a pile on my plate and said it was the worst I had ever had in my life.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
