I Order from here quite often not because it's good , because unfortunately it's the only place open. They mess up my order 9 times out of 10 and then usually tell me they will give me a credit (of $2-5) because they don't want to send anyone back. My last 4 orders have been wrong. If you eat at normal times, when other places are open, don't even bother with this place. Also, so not confuse it with the amazing (big c's) downtown pizza in Fort Lauderdale

Arrived in town late on Sunday night and Downtown Pizza was only place that would deliver. After reading reviews I was concerned. Still hungry, ordered anyway and as promised I received a pizza on time, hot and delicious. Will order again when in town. Hope they keep up the good food

If you are looking for some eats after a late night of partying or, in my case, a long road trip down the coast, then this is the place. With late hours, cheap prices and edible pizza, this is the place for a midnight (or later) snack. If you are looking for some super yummy pizza, I would pass on Downtown Pizza. The crust was limp and under cooked, the sauce was fairly simple and the cheese was sparse. The overall flavor wasn't horrible, but it was definitely not how I prefer my pizza prepared. The employees were totally unprofessional, but pretty much what I would expect from a late night pizza joint. So, if you go to Downtown Pizza for a late night pizza fix and have low expectations, you will not be disappointed!

Food tasted like cigarettes the cooks have a smoke every 20 mins with their apron on scratch their ass then goes and makes your food with bare hands as I'm eating I witness a cook run across the street to get beer comes back all sweaty of course with the apron on that they cook with then takes a order

I ordered 50 wings and they came with molded rancid garlic that was green . It was the nastiest thing I have ever seen come out if a restaurant. The owner said there was no way that came out of his restaurant, but didn't even bother to look at the food? Never again will I order from them and I hope they get shut down from food inspection that will be coming soon!!!

We got into ft lauderdale late at night and were looking for a pizza place. This place is open until 4am. Pizza was good. I have two kids that never like the same pizza, but they both loved it. They even have ice cream, but no cones...that was unfortunate but the Ice cream was still good. The seating was limited and spaced close together, but otherwise we had a great experience.

Excellent pizzeria. Their sausage and peppers are my favorite thing on their menu. Anytime I've been there the service has been excellent and everyone who worked their was courteous. The restaurant is close to our office and we order from here frequently. My favorite pizzeria in Ft Lauderdale.

I called tonight and asked if I could get a heart shaped pizza sent to my boyfriends work - it was our Anniversary. I was not in a rush. They could have sent at any time. But No was the answer. At least the girl on the phone asked the Chef's. That was more than a few other places did...yes I had to call 5. Good news is after calling all the places I knew, I found a place close by that was SUPER nice, agreed to try and make the shape and my boyfriend loved the pie! Thanks Barry from Jayno's. Beware when paying for your food with your credit card the one time I decided to pay with my card during our vacation and I was a victim of credit card fraud the next morning I had over $400 charged on my credit card. When I called the place the simply told me to call back after six that's was not their problem it's the evening shifts problem

I've been eating here for years now and this has become a staple for late night eating. These pizzas are delicious night or day but since its conveniently open late this honestly the best thing you can eat after midnight

Had to chime in after seeing the poor reviews. We were looking for some pizza to be delivered at our hotel at 1.30 AM--this place apparently delivers until 4AM. The person taking the order may have been the most professional/thorough (yet fast) order taker I have ever dealt with. I was told pizza would take 45 minutes to be delivered--it took about 20. Delivery guy was really cool and the pizza was good! What more could I really ask for a few hours before the sun was set to come up?

Delivered the wrong order more than one hour after it was ordered. Did not deliver the soda that was ordered. Kept telling us it was on it's way. The only thing they got correct was the side of ranch. Called manager who insisted it must be right because it matches his order slip which did not have any record of the soda. Manager was not apologetic and could not admit that they took down the order wrong and he claimed to have personally inspected the pizza before it went out. Yeah right.

If you are looking for a hole in the wall kinda place after a night out this is a great quick stop on your way home and pick up a pie. It's not meant to be a classy place just good food to grab or have delivered to your doorstep after a late night.

We ordered two pizzas from here, both thin crust with a variety of toppings. The pizzas were definitely nothing special at all. The crust was bland, the sauce tasted like it was out of a can, and the toppings were not very fresh. To top it off, the pizzas were expensive compared to other places. Don't get me wrong, we ate all the pizza, but no one was won over. Next time, we'll just go with Domino's, which in my opinion is at least 3 or 4 times better in quality than this place. The upshot of this place seems to be that it stays open til 4 am. Most places don't stay open that late, so if I was out late and had no where else to go, I might come back here (but doubtful).

I was expecting much more from this place. Ordered a chicken parm dinner and a personal pizza which all looked thrown together without much thought or sincerity. The food was pretty much flavorless and the delivery driver is crazy (has almost no voice and came in giving me his radical sob story about how he's spent time in jail for intoxication and how he's been arrested for marijuana possession). Can't be good for business.

First off, this place is actually called Downtown Pizza Grill (hopefully this helps google search, as I am ADAMANT that everyone read this review). Cliff's notes version (as I am on vacation after all): Placed an order of 5 items to rude order taker over the phone Was told food would take maximum 1 hour to arrive at my hotel Called the restaurant after 1 hour and 15 minutes to check up on the order, was told that the food had been ready for quite some time, and they couldn't find a driver. (What?) Was told before I hung up, "Oh wait, here's a driver now, we'll be there in 5-7 minutes!' 20 minutes later, my family was still without food... Finally got the food after 30 minutes of total waiting time AFTER being told it would take 5 minutes. Our food was cold, AND they were missing 2 out of the 5 items order. Unfortunately, those 2 things were the entrées for the kids. Epilogue: I called the place back to tell them they forgot the food. I was put on hold for five minutes, and I hung up. About five more minutes later, I got a call on my hotel phone from the manager. To her credit, I have to say she sounded very apologetic, and sent out my missing entrées gratis. That however, did not solve the fact that all of our food was at that point, mushy and mostly disgusting. It was at least edible. Soggy, but edible. Do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere.

Pizza was good, we ordered a pepperoni and a white pie and they quoted us 45 minutes but i think it only took 20! Would def recommend to friends if you just saw your favorite football team lose and didn't feel like going out before your flight the next morning!

This is really good pizza, however, if you like the thick crust doughy pizza like the chain places serve this is NOT the place for you. This is as close to pizza in Italy as I have found in South FL...thin crust with excellent ingredients... Not really a restaurant, they only have a small counter with a few stools. You could have a take out or delivery.... Must have been a rare off day when I went with my son Bruce (see his review)

Wish we would have ordered from here our 1st night in town. It would have saved us a lot of time and money. Food was amazing. We ordered a few subs, burgers, mozzarella sticks. We ordered off grubhub and the food got here in about 20 minutes. We waited almost an hour every other place we ordered from. If we are ever in town again this will definitely be where we order from.

Good food, sketchy employees. I literally picked up my order in and out and a girl was talking about not using a condom with one of her boyfriends. Lady, if you ever see this I encourage people like you to wear a condom EVERY TIME to avoid procreation.

I'm a 41 yr old Ft Laud native, I had been getting food from Downtown Pizza going back to 2001, both delivery and pickup. Half of the time was late night orders. I will never order from them again! At 3:00 am there aren't a whole lot of other options so for a long time I would put up with the staffs bad attitudes, mediocre food, the occasional screwed up order, an occasional undercooked pizza, or the ridiculously long delivery times that can sometimes take almost 2 hours. Between 2 and 4 am I recognize you're not going to get 5 star service. Earlier this year however I ordered a calzone, the 3 basic ingredients of which are pizza dough, mozzarella and ricotta cheese. This is something I have ordered from them a countless number of times. This time they delivered a calzone that while it had all my other toppings it was missing ricotta cheese. I called to let them know they screwed up, they apologized and I let it slide. Then a few weeks go by and I order the same thing, I also specifically reminded them when I ordered to make sure the calzone included ricotta in addition to my other toppings. When I got it without ricotta again I was done! I called and asked for a store credit, they agreed it should have had ricotta, the woman apologized and said she would offer me a credit for my next order and make a note of it. I call back the next week to try again and they have no record of me, my address, or my phone number in their system. Almost 15 years of ordering and they always have it on file, The same phone number and the same address the whole time. They always are able to pull up my info just from looking at the number I'm calling from on their computers and now they remove my info over a $30 calzone??? I asked her how this is possible and she just kept repeating "I'm sorry I don't have any record of you ordering here" and refused to honor the credit I was supposed to get. Whoever is running that place now is running it into the ground. Get your act together and hire some people who can remember 3 basic ingredients, and who value customers who have ordered from you for 14 years!

I have been ordering from Downtown for the last 15 years. It was once a true gem with a huge menu and open until 4am. Those were the days.. fast forward to today - sometime in the last year or 2 there has been a change of ownership and the quality of their pizza has gone to shit. My last, I mean final, order was so bad I ended up throwing it out. The sauce isn't anything like it used to be and the pizza was doughy and bland. There are much better options in the local area, sure they don't deliver until 4am, but if that's the trade-off for quality - sign me up.

The place does seem sketchy when u come late Mmhhh u wonder what really goes on. There fries are amazing but I never get off to pick up my food because of the sketchy people around but what do u get on a late night. Pizza is ok. Just a big fan of there fries.

If I can give them less than one star I would. Passing through town on a business trip and two nights in a row, I was up late looking to try to get a bite to eat. Ordered a grilled veggie wrap as it showed on the menu and delivery guy shows up with a fried egg plant sandwich which I mistaken for some type of weird burned meet the first time I open it. I called the place and explain that they dropped off the wrong sandwich after waiting almost an hour for the delivery to show up and they come back again almost 45 minutes later with the exact same sandwich?! When I call they proceeded to quiz me about what was in the sandwich. They place me on a long hold, came back on, and then told me that's the sandwich so there's nothing they can do. The sandwich contents were nothing like what the menu showed. It wasn't grilled, didn't have mushrooms and it didn't have peppers...onions were raw....no olives...it was nothing like the sandwich. how do I know it wasn't the right sandwich? Because it didn't match the menu and I ordered it the night before and it was completely different. I then asked for them just to refund the money to my credit card and they refused. They told me they couldn't do it?! Service matches the food - it's sucked....don't bother.

DTP is great because they're open late (4AM) and a short drive from my neighborhood. I've tried a few of their pizzas and they've always been tasty and fresh. Delivery may take a while but it will be worth the wait. There is limited counter seating inside and a tv, so your best bet is to opt for take-out. I've ordered their calzones and the Stromboli too ... both were hot, prepared as requested, and delicious. The eggplant rollatini (eggplant rolled with ham and served parm style) was good as was the classic Eggplant Parm. Their Greek salad is one of my favorites! Tons of green and black olives, feta cheese, cucumbers, onion and lettuce with a tasty dressing. DTP offers much more on their menu ... appetizers, specialty pizzas, and pastas galore... greasy goodness that can't compare to area pizza chains. Grab a menu and order up...you won't be let down.

My dad loves this place - it's definitely New York style thin crust cheese pizza. I'm guessing it was an off day when we popped in. While the slice was good and hot, the crust was still too doughy and a bit under done. Two slices, two can's of soda, $6. A decent deal for lunch. There are no tables, but they do have a couple of stools so you can perch and look out the window while you wait for your pizza to cool from 2000 degrees down to something edible. In a strip mall, there is shade parking to be found if you're fortunate.
