Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I had a swell time at Carina's tonight! The place closes at 9 pm during the summer even though yelp told me it closes at 10 pm. I walked in at 9:30 pm and got greeted and served by the owner Karina. Only after she brought me the check did she tell me that it closes at 9, but she was happy to serve customers past 9. Karina and her husband run the business and they are both welcoming and friendly people. Great thin crust pizza made fresh, great service with a smile and can do attitude, very clean establishment! Karina even shared with us some of her own stash of hot peppers. The pizza is a bit overpriced with limited quantity ingredients, but I am happy to support a family owned business! I will be back...:)

Whoever gives this pizza a bad review should not be permitted to submit reviews on Yelp unless they are reviewing fast food joints! This is the best pizza I've had in a long time and I come from the Philly area where we are known for pizza. Except for a leaky roof, the place is very comfortable. The owner is from Sicily and she makes the best cannoli filing in S Florida. They also deliver but I would go there to experience this great brick oven pizza.

Let's see how I word this.......not the best pizza and wings I have ever had, but not the worst. If you are hungry this place will do. I decided to check this place out on a whim. I ordered a traditional cheese pizza, with a side of Italian Wings. I personally did not find the food to have that much flavor, and the portion sizes were a little small. I mean on a positive note the food came out super fast, and the staff was super friendly. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly, there is also plenty of parking space. I really was expecting a lot more when I walked in, but at the end of it all it was just okay for me.

Great service, great pizza. The employees were very nice, and the pizza was really good. We got a large, thin crust pepperoni, A large pizza is 8 large slices, but since it was a thin crust you may want to get two if you are splitting with 3 other people. Overall, very good. Here on vacation and may get it again before we leave.

With the Sea Ranch Diner gone...its riddance being a gastronomic blessing...Carina's is about the only place to get a meal in the Sea Ranch Plaza. It's basically another one of the dine in, take out or home delivery brick open brick fired oven pizza establishments but well run, has an extensive offering not only of pizzas but also of salads, soups, sandwiches, pastas with alfredo, marinara and vodka sauces, wraps pastries and gelatos. They also have appetizers with my favorite being their Stone Fired Eggplant Napoleon which is roasted eggplant layered with mozzarella, ricotta cheeses along with a house sauce. I'm usually not very fond of places like this, especially when located in a strip mall setting complete with the accompanying South Florida strip mall atmosphere and ambiance, but I've found this one, for what it is, being OK, which merely means better than most of the others which only qualify as being horrid or worse. If it weren't located in the Sea Ranch area, a location long known as devoid decent food, it probably wouldn't stack up against much, but here it's one of the only games around.

Had the pizza special. Great thin crust and the sauce not to spicy. We were there with the kids and they mowed it down. Will be back.

After going many times I have realized the pizza has been becoming soggy and very oily. I saw bags of high gluten flour and many bottles of vegetable oil. If you like wet and soggy pizza come here.

When we came in we were the only ones here....Sunday after Thanksgiving. I was ready to leave, especially after I heard there was no Gelato, but I was sooo hungry. I didn't have high hopes but the $4.95 2 slice and drink special made me stay..... Glad I did. Excellent pizza!!! Thin NY style made fresh. I recommend

I thought this place was just OK. The pizza was very soggy and falls apart when you try to eat it. The Margarita favor is pretty good but I couldn't get past how soggy it was. The Pear & Gorgonzola sounds a lot better than it tastes that was a major disappointment. Avocado salad was healthy and fresh, we definitely enjoyed that.

Went there for dinner, and shared a large pizza with my boyfriend. We got half sausage and half pepperoni. Very tasty! A little soggy in the middle but the taste was there nonetheless. The pepperoni slices were huge and were delicious! The sausage were tasty thick slices as well! I also ordered a side half salad with balsamic vinaigrette which waiter told me was made there, homemade! It was great, just wish there were croutons :) then we had a canolli, which was amazing! They put drizzled chocolate syrup on it, which was a nice touch :) would definitely go back!

Pizza was very good. I recommend it for take-out. Ambiance inside was very inviting. Will definitely consider dining in next time. The staff seemed very friendly.

This was my first spot I hit when I arrived in Fort Lauderdale with my family and boy was it $67 wasted. The wings are basically Tyson's frozen wings. We order them and nobody would finish them... They were horrible. The pizza was "ok" but it tasted like it was reheated, not freshly made. The only nice thing they have going for them is the lady who waited on us which I believe is the owner - she was very nice and accommodating. Will I go back? NO

We are from out of town and were on our way to subway because our vacation spending was running low. Found this place on the way and thank goodness we stopped in. They had a lunch special, two slices of pizza and a pop for $5. The pizza was excellent and the people were extremely friendly. So glad we stopped here instead of subway.

Was in the shopping center and decided to go in and order a pizza to go....I ordered a small personal pizza which was $13.50--are they kidding??? Then after I ordered they tell me it'll be a 30 minute wait...just for my personal pizza that was so small??? Are you serious?? Finally after 30 minutes I get my pizza to go and got home and was not very impressed at all. Pizza was ok. Definitely would not go back.

We're down from Boston - not as famous as NY or Chicago, but a real pizza town. This is real pizza. We had the whole wheat delivered to our condo, and it was great! Chewy, thin and flavorful crust, tasty sauce and good cheese. This is great whole wheat pizza!

I went to a friends house and she told me I had to try this place.... OMG I'm officially obsessed!1 We had the pear and gorgonzola pizza and it was to die for!!!! Thin crust, great flavor combination; you will NOT be disappointed. A must try!

I went here with John F, after we were driving around for a long time looking for someplace simple to eat. I'm from Chicago, so I'm pretty serious about my pizza, and this place looked good from the outside. I wasn't disappointed, but I wasn't all that impressed either. The food was good, but not great. We were there on a Sunday night, so it was pretty dead, but I'd definitely go back. We had garlic bread, which was pretty decent, and a "choose-your-own" pizza. The pizza was good (the crust was the best part), but a bit soggy in the middle (this could be our fault though for loading it up with too many toppings). The food was definitely good, and I'd for sure go back if I lived here. Great place to go grab a quick bite, or an easy dinner. Thumbs up.

FCK Chi-town! NYC has the best damn pizza you'll never be able to make! And being from NYC, born and raised on Pizza throughout my entire education, I can tell you, nothing made me happier or prouder than to find these long island transplants bringing to Ft. Lauderdale, what no other Pizza shop can...AUTHENTIC NYC PIZZA! The only mistake Carina's makes is trying to hard to appease to many, when they don't really have too. Stick to the regular pie and top that with pepperoni, crispy bacon and mushrooms, bbq chicken or whatever your imagination can come up with and you won't be disappointed. Go for any of the pies they've created and you'll be in for some major disappointment. I don't understand health freaks who want to eat something that was never meant to be that healthy to begin with. If you try and change the way pizza is supposed to be by ordering it on wheat rather than white dough...don't complain when your pizza taste like shit! If you're trying to watch what you eat, then don't eat fkn pizza. It's that simple! Pizza is fun, tastes yum, and it's bad for you as is anything consumed in excess. It's not that hard! Now go to Carina's and get your slice on!

Living Social had a deal for here a couple weeks ago and I grabbed one and finally went in yesterday... good vibe, good place, not super busy and we had the Carina special pizza - it was delicious! Will definitely be back!

Drove around for 45 minutes looking for food, then saw this pizza joint and decided to give it try. This place is located in a shopping strip, basically the local place people do pizza pickup from as there were more people coming in for pickup than were sitting down for dinner. Cool chill place, was pretty dead on a Sunday evening but had good pizza. Quiet atmosphere inside, standard 8-12 beer drink selection. Definitely better than a Domino's or Pizza Hut. Good thin crust pizza and great fresh ingredients. Would go back, not a place to brag about, but good for a low key, non-eventful evening...that and the waitress was kind of cute.
