We've been to Pagelli's many times and generally it is very good. Our waiter Jose was very polite and I would be happy to have him serve us again. My mom had the Salmon salad and asked for goat cheese instead of blue cheese and it came out correctly. Yeah! I ordered Penne a la Vodka, one of my favorite dishes, because Jose said the pink sauce was very good. (I would have been very disappointed if he were wrong!) There was not a single piece of penne left when I was finished. Very good indeed. My father ordered a Veal chop that Fred Flinstone would have enjoyed back in the day. (or maybe his wife; I thought it was big!) He enjoyed it, but the pasta was under-cooked. My mom and I both agreed. And this is where I have a bone to pick: The manager came right over (we didn't ask for him) and apologized but then said that because it is homemade it tends to be firmer. And I thought this was a load of S*** that a brontosaurus might leave behind. The pasta looked thicker than store bought pasta, but that means you just have to cook it longer. Duh. He should have apologized and re-made it. Instead, he offered a thinner pasta (like Angel hair) and brought it out......over-cooked. Oh boy. I realize it's not the North End, but this fiasco is kind of sad at an upscale Italian restaurant. Thankfully, my penne was OK. Otherwise, I would say they have issues with pasta. Anyway, we had enough food so we didn't make another fuss. We'll probably be back. It's in the neighborhood and overall we enjoy dining here.

Worst managing or bathroom staff I've ever encountered! After washing my hands the paper towel Despenser fell on MY foot and the vulger rude lady called me a drunk bitch and told me to leave. Might I add I had only had one drink. Then after being verbally attacked I called to speak with a manager (hoping for their company's sake that the rude woman wasn't the manager) and what do you know, I get hung up on. Amazing. Don't go and if you do be careful in the restroom... But hey Doug the bartender does do great service and makes a tasty cocktail!

We had no res but they seated us nicely for an early dinner. We sat on the covered patio. The chairs were very comfortable and the table stable. Our waitress was very nice, friendly, efficient and helpful. The hot bread is welcome. The food was great. I had scallops and husband had a mahi special. His broccoli was huge and good as was my spinach. Then a good singer started. We could see and hear her just fine from our table. The weather was perfect and we had come here to eat outside. It was a good evening.

Whenever we're in Naples we make it a point to dine at Pagelli's! Last evening I had the salmon and my husband had the flounder and both us were very pleased with our dinner. We love the ambiance and the entertainment was very enjoyable. We danced the night away under the evening stars!

Place looks outstanding from outside. Inside things aren't so much. Jenna was our "server" or as I should say. Order taker. All other servers around us were very helpful telling hair guests about the menu and things they liked. My wife and were neglected. Ordered sparkling water. Got flat. We also got our bread after our appetizer was finished. Good job guys!

We were hosted at this restaurant by a group at work while on a business trip. I was so disappointed with the service that I thought the restaurant must have been packed (we were in a back room). We waited more than 20 minutes at our tables waiting for a drink order, water, bread, etc. Once we ordered, it was another 15-20 minutes before they brought our drinks to us, and left some guests out. Disappearing again, we were held captive until another wait staff came back. They didn't notice or ask if anyone needed anything, usually we needed to try to get their attention in order to remind them of something we were waiting for. Every once in awhile we had a stray employee come in to help, which was a relief. I had a filet mignon that was very good and came with fingerling potatoes that were fair. My husband had spaghetti bolagnese and it was a portion for a 4 year old. He said it was fair. The bread was excellent but never refilled for a table of 6. This would have helped keep us going while we waited. What Italian restaurant doesn't bring bread to the table immediately? Oh well. It seems as if something isn't working there. Too bad because with a few tweaks to the menu and a complete overhaul to the management and/or service, this could be a better place. I would save your money and go somewhere else.

I recently dined here while on vacation in Bonita Springs. The restaurant is located in the Coconut Point Mall, and is on a lake setting with a turtle pond out front. My boyfriend's parents had been there for brunch one Sunday during the winter, and really enjoyed it. My crew of 4 had been sightseeing all day and skipped lunch, so we headed into Pagelli's just as it was opening at 4 PM. We all got something off the Early Dining menu - I got the Spinach Ravioli, my bf and his mom got the Pasta Caprese with chicken, and his dad got the Chicken Marsala. We shared the Caprese salad appetizer and were provided with bread and salads with the meal as well. All of the food was absolutely delicious! I ate my entire meal, which I rarely do, and even sopped up the sauce with the last of our bread. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well - not a to go box in sight (which also says something about their good portion sizes). The appetizer was delicious, and everyone else enjoyed the house balsamic salad dressing while I got the creamy parmesan. They also had happy hour drink specials - $2 drafts and $3 or $4 for a glass of house wine. There were other items on the menu that we all would have liked to try, so we will be going back. I would definitely stop in if you get the chance!

Just returned from dinner at Pagelli's Cucina, Estro, FL. Brandy our server was energetic, enthusiastic and ready to answer our question about the menu and make recommendations. I had the lasagna and my wife had the eggplant - wow! The service and food was fantastic - DO NOT MISS this restaurant while in the Naples area.

This place has happy hour all day everyday! Stopped in for a Bloody Mary which wasn't on happy hour menu but was worth the price. Ordered a small sausage pizza to share. The crust was thin and crisp. The ingredients on the top, peppers, onions etc were grilled. They were very wet and made the pizza soft. Would not order that again but I certainly would go back. The was prompt and friendly. The outdoor patio was really a nice place for a Sunday afternoon. They have an extensive menu so I would try something else. We went back for Easter brunch that was $26.75 a person with unlimited bloody Mary's and Mimosas for $10.00. The food set up was a little weird as it was spread all over the restaurant and nothing was marked. The desserts were mixed in with the breakfast pastries. There were salads mixed in there also. Signs would have help. There was a carving station with prime rib, ham and lamb. Only one person carving so the rest of your food from the steam table got cold while you were waiting. Not sure I would go there for brunch again but the service was good and the servers polite.

I love Pagellis - but less in 2015 than in 2014. The location and ambiance are terrific. But now with the big umbrellas the music is way too loud and the view of the lake is blocked. Too bad because the music is really good - but just too loud for such a small space.

Awesome pastas... Service was good.. But when checking out they held our cards for over 30mins because there system went down.. I asked after a while why the manager wasn't out by now to discuss the issue.. I was told that he was at tables because they have families and bar people are usually ore casual about these things...I was later told he was on the phone.. And asked if I still wanted to see him.. I said yes 10 more mins go by before another bartender drops off the full amount of the check and says 'ha, hey you almost got away with one there ' referring to not having to pay the check... I understand the service staff having the situation out of their hands but still have negative feelings towards how the situation was handled

My husband and I recently visited Naples. We mainly selected restaurants based on good ratings and were disappointed with just about all of them. By accident, we stumbled unto Pagelli's and we did not bother to check ratings. Jacob was our server and based o his recommendation, we ordered the following: gocchi quattro (appetizer), bianco pizza and L-pollo Romano. All were delicious and Jacob was honest and attentive. I can't speak for the rest of the menu but based on what we had, I give the place four stars; oh by the way, the decor is tasteful and the restaurant is beautiful inside.

Pagelli's has it's ups and downs. I like the nice ambiance inside and the live music with old people dancing outside. The food is OK. It's Italian, nothing too memorable. Pricey for the quality in my opinion. The drinks are expensive as well. I've been around Florida, and I think this place is trying to mask itself as an upper class Italian Restaurant. It's pretty average and I'd give it 4 stars if it didn't cost more than it's value.

The first time I came to this restaurant I left an extremely positive review, as we genuinely had a wonderful experience that one time. We thought we had found a decent Italian place and somewhere we would continue returning to. However, I have to completely change my rating and opinion, as We have since gone back to pagellis a few times and been completely disappointed every time. The food portions have gotten MUCH smaller and the food is nothing even worth mentioning. We thought we went on an off day our second time there since our first experience was so good, but the third trip was even worse. The first time we went we had ordered the cheese board appetizer, which was delicious and enough for a meal in itself! We went back this past week and ordered the cheese board again and were given maybe 5 pieces of cheese total, accompanied by stale bread, to the point where we had to say something to our server. She explained that it was too expensive for them to maintain the prior portions...which left us paying $11 for a few bites of cheese and stale bread. Not to mention $8 for half a shot. Without a coupon this place is expensive and they have cut back on all of their portions. And the food is just nothing special as of late. Sad to say this restaurant is no longer one we will be frequenting.

This is a loud, Italian chain resto. But it's pretty inside, and the bar does good pours of vodka for only four bucks. When asked to put the pomodoro on the side, the staff were cheerful and the order came in a separate soup bowl. Generous.. In season, the outdoor dining is the best. There are views of a lake, plus excellent singers that croon to a the crescent that is an outdoor dining patio shared jointly by Pagelli's and Hemignways. Pagelli's also has an outdoor fireplace that is a godsend on chill December evenings. Half the appeal is the central location between friends and family who are north in Lee and south in Collier , but who try to meet somethere in between. Pagelli's is great solution to this, there on the north side of Coconut Pointe. It's also super convenient when you have an extra hour or two and need somethng reliable to eat while enroute to/from RSW.

My wife and I decided to give this place a second try. We arrived without a reservation and waited about 25 minutes at their outdoor "happy hour" bar. The bar featured a "special" price of $5.00 for the "Trinity" house wine...so we each ordered a Cabernet. The wine was awful (probably one of the many made-up labels from Gallo which supplies most of the banquet hall trade). Upon being seated our waiter asked if we would like another wine. He was apparently used to comments about the house wine and proceeded to up-sell us on a better Cabernet at $12.50/glass. We ordered two of the menu's Italian specialties. The food was delivered in a timely manner, but barely lukewarm. Our impression was consistent with our first visit...mediocre Italian food, lacking flavor and zestiness. Pagellis has a very nice atmosphere, and features outdoor seating with very good singers..but as a dining experience it fails to deliver.

Dined here on a busy Saturday night with my wife's family, to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. Our party was seated in timely fashion, even though one member was running late. We split some apps for the table -- fried calamari and bruschetta -- while waiting for our missing member. The calamari were crisp and well-cooked, and the lemon sauce was tasty (I opted not to bother with the marinara). Not liking bruschetta, I opted to skip it and won't include it in my review. We also enjoyed the rustic Italian bread with olive oil for dipping; straightforward and tasty. My wife ordered the Ravioli Antonio, mushroom-stuffed ravioli tossed in portabello mushroom cream sauce, while I had the Tortellacci Pagelli, big tortellini stuffed with veal, beef, and cheese in a pink sauce with ham and scallions. Both dishes were prepared quite well, but the service lacked a little luster; instead of fresh Parmesan grated onto the entrees (something I'd expect from a good Italian restaurant), there was dried cheese offered instead. As well, the food runners had no idea who's dish was who's, which is a service no-no (how hard is it to start in a single position at the table and work one way around the table on the order ticket?). When it came time for dessert, we ordered the Dolce Vita Trio, with a creme brulee, chocolate Baccio (a gelatinous mousse of chocolate), and tiramisu. Even though it was for my mother-in-law's birthday -- which we specified in the reservation -- the dessert arrived with no fanfare, not even so much as a candle (we snagged the waiter and he quickly corrected it). I only tried the chocolate, which I found... interesting. Weird texture, but good flavor; not something I'd want a full-sized dessert of, but a taste was good. I also had a cup of cappucino and a Strega (an Italian herbal digestif), which was quite nice. The Saturday entertainment was decent; a lounge-style singer who was pretty competent, backed up by karaoke-style music (but no karaoke screen). Couples were dancing on the patio, which added to the atmosphere. All in all, the minor service miscues cost a little bit in my review (if only there were a 1/2 star! This'd be a 3.5 star meal, easily), but I'd happily dine here again (although, hopefully on a less-busy night). Dinner and drinks for 5 adults and 2 children came to about $180 before tip.

What a pleasure to eat here -- excellent atmosphere, family friendly and good food. While our family was on vacation in Bonita Springs, Florida, we ventured out to check out to local fare. We found Pagelli's after driving around a very large Simon outdoor mall. The menu was quite varied and they had a few award winning dishes; I had one of them and it was excellent!. My wife and I enjoyed wine at happy hour prices. The kids were entertained by drawing on the paper above the tablecloth. The portions were large enough that we didn't have enough room for desert. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable (Under $90 for 5 meals). Overall, it was a very good experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had one of our worst restaurant experiences the other night at Pagelli's. First when we arrived with a reservation made a week in advance we were seated at the bar rather than at a table because they were overcrowded. They were very understaffed and you had to ask at least twice for anything. The entertainment was touted as first class and was merely a couple of mildly entertaining lounge singers. When one of our party complained about grossly undercooked vegetables the manager first argued with her and when I supported her he shook his finger at me, gave me a dirty look and said I'm talking to the other lady. He offered her a complimentary dessert but did not allow her to choose and when he brought it, he took the first bite. We will never return and I can only warn other against this very poor excuse for a restaurant.

Over-sauced food and one of the most odd waiters I have ever encountered! When you get an answer like "What's that?" to the question "Can I have a side dish of mostaccioli" AT AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT (!), you know something isn't right. That's exactly what our waiter said to my wife. Dumbfounded, she restated her query "Do you have penne?", to which he said "Oh, sure.".....wow! The restaurant itself is very nice looking: situated on a man-made pond, with a nice patio which features lived music in the evenings. The food is okay, at best. My chicken was LOADED with sauce. My wife's "grilled" grouper, was soaked in butter, apparently, before being grilled. It was almost as if it was sauted in butter. The eggplant appetizer was allegedly very good, although I wouldn't know as I don't care for eggplant. The calamari was good as well. Back to our waiter, after being told that their draft beer selection was unavailable due to tapper issues, I asked him what they had in bottles. His answer, "The usual...." Huh?!? What a d-bag!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I've never been one to write negative reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to do so. My husband and I dined at Pagellis on Valentine's Day, and we were pretty disappointed. There was a $60 per person set menu, which we were aware of when we made our reservations. With that you were supposed to get an appetizer, entrée and dessert. When we got there we were told we had to share 1 appetizer, HELLO we paid $60 a piece we should get equal amount of food! What if we were each paying our own bill?! One of us would have gotten ripped off! Then my husband orders surf and turf which says 12oz New York strip. They bring out what can only amount to a 4oz steak, and when I questioned them on it we were told that they are running short on New York strip so they had to cut it in half. WHAT???!!! I'm paying $60 for half??!!! For anyone a $60 meal for 1 person is a pricey meal and you should Atleast get what your promised. I only gave 2 stars because I really enjoyed the entertainment. But we will not be going back.

Food was mediocre at best. Gordon Ramsey would not be impressed and frankly neither was I. I probably could have made a better dish at home.

Poor service. Mediocre food. Upcharge for butter because we had oil served with the bread we had to request. Poorly managed chain.

I have had two very good meals here so far. Service was good and so was the food. No complaints from our party of 6. Nice location and I recommend sitting outside.
