Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Sorry, but this was just an awful restaurant experience. As for those reviewers giving it 4 and 5 stars -- I guess they like bland, institutional-quality food in a cafeteria-like setting. Well, to each his own. My boyfriend's grandma likes their prime rib. The rest of us found nothing redeeming about this place, however, from the lackluster starter salad, the fact that they had run out of bread, the spotty, slow service from our brusque, unkempt waitress, and our sub-par entrees. There aren't too many dining choices in this neck of the woods but next time we will definitely skip Stefano's.

We brought the family here tonight for dinner and had a great experience. Our server was excellent and very attentive. And the food was good. We had a pot roast dinner, a Queen prime rib dinner, a Gyro platter, a side of angel hair with sauce and a children's chicken strips meal. Everything was very good ... Especially the pot roast. It was tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were great too. The chicken soup was very salty -- but it was homemade and still good. the staff really made the meal. The gentleman who sat us saw our two little ones and sat us in a nice, private corner table. The waitress was very kid friendly and attentive. And we were asked a few times by different people how out food was. Thank you for a good, stress free casual family dinner that was very affordable.

I like stefanos. What a great little local restaurant. The food it very good. More of a surprise to me was the side salad! What a nice amount of different veggies on here! Yum. Excellent homemade bread served with your dinner, very tasty. Main courses are all very good. However I don't recommend getting the prime rib. Too much fat on the meat. I do recommend the turkey dinner and fish of course and there's a wide variety to choose from! The staff is friendly and attentive and the inside is very diner-ish decor, no thrills but who cares!? I'll be back

One of our favorite restaurants (for the menu, the ambiance is outdated). Great deals. Delicious food at reasonable price. Large portions. The menu is very large and there are accompanying menus for day parts and specials.

i have lived near Stefano's for a year and a half and drove by it all the time. finally decided to try it. Not only is the decor terribly outdated, but the place was filthy. The window sills were caked with filth in the crevices. The floors were dirty. The waitress was less than inviting, but "ok". The place was so bad, that my daughter was nearly totally grossed out and wanted to leave right away. I'm a little more tolerant than my daughter , but I was actually kind of grossed out too. We waited for our order to arrive. I ordered a Reuben... it was OK to be fair. the others food was barely ok , but ok. We were the only customers throughout the experience. it took about twenty minutes for our order to arrive. it gave my wife and daughter more time to be further grossed out. I really don't understand the 3 plus reviews. I am still teetering between one and two stars. I would make it a solid 1 1/2 if I could .

My wife and I visited Stefano's on 2/28/15 for breakfast. My wife ordered an omelet which she said was very good ,and I ordered the works eggs, pancakes sausage, bacon, hash browns toast coffee. It was very good too. All this and my cholesterol is low and I'm still only 170 lbs) hey we were on vacation what the heck. lol Anyway the food was very good and our waitress (Penny) was awesome!! She made us feel right at home. I like to give a shout out to servers that make a meal THAT MUCH BETTER! and Penny did just that. This is not a fancy dress up restaurant ,but it IS a very good breakfast place, at fair prices. I would definitely go back to if Im in the area. Greg A CT

To begin with the online menu isn't accurate. I ordered a large 3 topping pizza. The price listed was $14.45. We were charged $19. When my husband picked it up he knew it wasn't good. It was so light, basically nothing on it. The 3 toppings were minuscule. There was no sauce on it. No mozzarella, maybe it was cheddar. Horrible and a real waste of money. Will NOT be back.

Whatever you do, don't order the shrimp basket for 8.95. The shrimp were tiny encased in a ball of breading to the point you couldn't tell it was shrimp. It just looked literally like a ball of breading. When you peeled off the breading, what you had was a very, very small shrimp. It was so disappointing and a waste of 35.00 plus tip. Two of us ordered the sausage gumbo soup, which would have been good, but it was so salty. I wish I had the same wonderful experience others here seem to have had. We can't afford to go out to eat often, and I am sorry that we chose this place to eat.

Stopped here for a yummy breakfast at the end of our vacation. Delicious home fries - real potatoes! - freshly made corned beef hash, pancakes and omelettes. Hot and delicious coffee too. Outdated decor but vintage sports and fishing photographs on the walls that my sons loved.
