Delicious fried fish (and friends) fare and this fine establishment. (Aww, yeah. Alliteration, baby!) The restaurant appears to be fairly new to the neighborhood. Apparently this place used to be Zydeco Grill and, when they moved, this became ParrotFish. I never dined at Zydeco, but my parents said that ParrotFish is a lot brighter on the inside. We stopped in last night and there were a couple other groups there and one very big group was finishing up. Despite the fact that they were somewhat busy, our waitress was attentive and we received our food rather quickly. At the table, we had the fried clam strips basket, the beer battered shrimp basket, and an order of fish and chips. ALL were large enough to easily share. Each meal was delicious and seemed very fresh. The shrimp are listed as local Gulf shrimp and the fish was flakey. We asked at the end if the fish could be done broiled or grilled and the waitress didn't think that would be a problem. Overall, it's a great addition to the Englewood community and worth a try!

the best beer batter shrimp I've ever had! perfectly cooked, super-fresh shrimp. French-fries were not as good but that may be because I ate them last due to how great the shrimp was. Cannot beat the $8.50 price for great food. don't be dismayed by the packed parking lot, we were seated immediately. there must be happy hour at the bar next door because the cars were gone when we exited. Husband had fish tacos and it was a huge amount of food-3 LARGE tacos filled with fish, cheese and the rest. He could not eat it all.

Not the best seafood in town, fair. Coleslaw was terrible, worst I've ever had! Service wasn't much better, won't be back. D. Englwood

Delicious sea food with large portions!

Great seafood, terrible taco salad, horrible staff. It took 45 minutes to get soup and salad, server never brought juice I ordered for my baby, and you can't customize or substitute anything on the menu. Won't be back.
