Sweet little beach town diner. Food was great! No sweet tea even though this is the south. Lol. Brenda and Rose are great!

A small place where Brenda cooks all of the food and Rose is the only server. Be patient and wait for it - the veggie omelette and the blueberry pancakes were fabulous!

An unassuming place, tucked away in a corner of a tiny strip mall, Brenda's is a blast from the past. The decor, the seating, the food AND THE PRICES are seriously from another generation. If you are in need of a good ole fashioned eggs, pancakes and coffee, I suggest you head down here. Brenda is still on the grill.

I am so sad. We have gone to Brenda's for years. Close to home, great diner food, one of our favorite breakfast spots. If we'd had a problem once, all would be forgiven. But twice and we're done. It should not take 45 minutes to an hour to get your eggs, bacon and toast in a diner type restaurant that is not crowded. When we said something on our way out, Brenda not only didn't apologize, but blamed us. "You chose to come when everyone else did." Are you serious? There were a total of 4 tables, including us. Bye-bye Brenda. We've found better.

Great little neighborhood place for breakfast. Fast, friendly and tasty. Try the corned beef hash with swiss and onions!

Great little place to grab breakfast or lunch. Owner is always there cooking and she is very nice. It's always good to support your local eatery and this is one of them for sure. Prices or low and portions are big and delicious!

They have the best Blueberry pancakes in town! Their pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes are a close second! We go all the time and it's never a bad meal. Omelets are great too. Brenda is a breakfast magician.

Low tech and friendly. Excellent food cooked well. Lori and I have a regular tradition of eating breakfast on Sundays and sitting in the back corner and reading the Sunday paper. Not a pretentious place but great food at INCREDIBLY low prices.. Breakfast for TWO for the price of ONE at one of those chain places.

Where do I start...it took 20 minutes to get our coffee and beverages. It took 30 minutes to get our food. With 3 kids this was not the place to be. The waitress was obviously very overwhelmed. The food for the price was good but the service was so horrible it wasnt worth it. A party of 7 came in and asked us to move so they could use our table...we had to help bus the tables and 20 minutes later they still had not seen a server. ..then we heard another couple ask for a menu and the waitress said "as soon as I can find one"!! I will never return to this place.

You need a quick breakfast 'cause you're doin' a beach day! You're going to Honeymoon Island, maybe take the boat to Caladesi Island, or just laying on the Dunedin Causeway Beach. Brenda's is waiting for you. Old school greasy spoon that makes great fast breakfasts. Biscuits and Gravy goood! One flapjack will fill you and you can get it as a side for under $2. Bacon made crisp like I love it. The servers are mature ladies that will take care of you. Did I mention the prices are the cheapest on Alt 19? BUT they only take cash! Quick! Simple! Cheap! Hit the beach! End of story. :)

My last meal in Dunedin . Leaving for home in the Caribbean in about two hours and I'm having the chicken pita here at brendas which I love so very much. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant .

Brenda's is an OK breakfast stop. We actually ended up there after trying to go to Benedict's but they were closed, so I was already in the mood for eggs benedict. They do not have eggs benedict at Brenda's (or if they do I wasn't going to order it) Its more of an eggs and hashbrowns, classic breakfast foods type place. The building that it's in has definitely seen better days and it is obviously a place frequented by regulars. The staff seemed to know everyone's name. Prices were low, but I would expect that from any standard breakfast fair restaurant.

Great food, friendly service. It was a great find. Visiting from Ocala. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great fresh cooked meal

oh man I dislike being negative because I really wanted this to be a nice little place it isn't :( how hard is it to serve coffee that is hot. entire place is greasy from the doorknob to the ceiling. (even the cup handles) and when the wrong meal (not even close) arrived and was brought to the server's attention, she just said "oh" -- that's it. just "oh" and gave us a really sad frightened look we left it uneaten on the table. never received OUR order. and were still charged (and we paid, was just so sad) for a meal never received. we never ate. took one sip of bland cold coffee. waited for our check and paid bummer

Dirty tables greeted us as we waited endlessly to get served. Coffee and bacon were cold. Place does not know how to handle customers. Food just ok. Never coming back. Waitress seemed overwhelmed. Not sure why they cant figure out how to serve everyone quicker. I'm u!sully very geNero us on yelp and it takes a lot to upset me. Today was that day

Now, I like me some Brenda's:) Small portions but good prices!...so just order more stuff and you'l leave full and happy. Nice service. Tasty eggs and DELISH bread. They have low fat milk, which is nice for a breakfast place, and for me. See you this weekend.

Brought my daughter here for her birthday and it was great! Brenda makes great food and Rose was an awesome waitress! We will definitely be back.

As diners go, I like Brenda's. Two eggs over easy, corned beef hash (with a slice of Swiss cheese on it), toast. She keeps the hash on the grill a while to crisp it up. The biscuits and gravy are also pretty good. Local flavor for sure, a nice change from all the carbon copy franchise places. Yeah, I like it for the beach area diner that it is!
