Just finished dining at this wonderful restaurant. I was ideally going because of the view and the great reviews it has received. But as it is so famously known, Miami weather is unpredictable and it poured all afternoon. Which in the end is only more reason to return because the food and ambiance was out of this world! The attentiveness of the staff is just reason enough to return, sincere and on point. Pepe and Daisy are sweet hearts who love what they do and create. This is a real gem hidden in the mist of "chain food restaurants" found throughout Doral. Now for the fantastic meal I was lucky enough to consume: Started off with a Wine recommended by Pepe, Ceviche de Corvina (dee-lish!), the Risotto with Cooked Corvina( divine) and to end this one of a kind lunch a piece of tiramisu (heavenly!). Definitely recommend this place to anyone who want to experience a meal instead of inhaling the norm most of us eat on the daily. Thank you for a superb meal! :)

Came for breakfast on a weekday. Received great service with a really nice breakfast. My only complaint was that the house potatoes were really oily and tasted more of olive oil than potatoes. The eggs were good (real eggs not powdered), they have french wheat baguettes as a bread option (which is awesome) and the cafecito was delicious. Yes they do have indoor seating with views of the canal and the place is very clean...even the bathrooms! Plenty of outdoor seating under lots of ceiling fans to keep you cool.

This would've been the easiest Five Stars for a Cafe if it wasn't for the Slow Service. When I say Slow Service, I meant that I could see Grass Grow from our Amazing View. I swear that they were probably in the Middle of Catching the Salmon that I ordered after I asked for it. It tasted like it too. More on that later... The Seating View in the Back Patio is Awesome. Great for Conversation if it wasn't for a Big, Loud Fan behind us blowing away the Flies. But that's alright. The Bread was great, with a Special Orange Spread that cane with it. If I ordered an Appetizer, I would've stayed here way longer than I wanted to. So how long did the Food take to get to a Party of Three? 45 MINUTES. FORTY-FIVE. I only took off One Star because holymoly The Food is Extremely Delicious. Definitely worth the wait. My Salmon was Extremely Fresh and Well Cooked as I asked. The 2 sides (Rice and Broccoli) were a nice touch. If I got a Heads up about the Food being Fished for While I ordered, That would've been nice. Because of How long I waited, there was room for dessert. But even that took forever. Does a Fresh Tiramisu and Flan really take 15 Minutes to come out ready? They added the magic touch to that too, since it came out wonderful, and Delicious. At the end of our meal, we were given an Apology to the long wait times, and the Kitchen process was explained. I think once I become a Regular here, My Familiar Face will get the Fishermen and Chef's Attention as to when I order another great meal from here. You should really try the Unique Ahituna Steak Salad when you can. Come here for your First time with a friend (not on a Lunch Break from Work) just in case you order something that takes a While to be Prepared. You will enjoy what you eat here.

I was truly surprised about this place. While i expected the traditional cuban cafeteria, this place outdid them, in terms of the attention, and the decoration and view. You really feel at a different place, and if you choose the outdoor sitting you have a lake view. I could say you can disconnect from your daily routine while you are here. I was in a rush so i ordered just a chicken "vaca frita" (shredded meat), and it was good. For sure i will come back with more tjme and try the "pan con bistec" that as per other reviews it is a must.

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago. I found the menu the same except for higher prices. I ordered an item from the menu, when presented with the bill, I was charged $4.95 more than the menu listed. When I questioned the waitress, she went to the owner and their response was that the menu had the wrong prices. The owner didn't have the courtesy to come to my table, instead he gave the waitress $2.35 to refund to me in cash and he kept the rest as "taxes". I will never go back to this restaurant, the food is not worth the price, the owner is rude, I will spread the word to stay away from this restaurant. They charge outrageous prices for mediocre food and mediocre atmosphere. Stay away.

Daisy never ceases to amaze with her culinary know-how and extraordinary plating. Pepe is always a great host with a vast knowledge in fine wines to pair with an tasty dish prepared by Chef Daisy. Some of my favorites are the Osso Boucco, Squid Ink Rissoto, Ahi Tuna and the Lobster Ravioli

Great food and great view out back, you'd never know from the front entrance & the jail across the street. Came here with customer who works down the street and raves about this place. It's a small place and out front looks like your typical strip mall place, but if your going to eat in and get a table the place transforms into a mellow picnic by the lake. Doral lake is out back and they have some tables inside and some outside. Boats towing wakeboarders doing flips for your entertainment really adds to this place if you can get here during the daylight hours. The food was great I had the pan con bistec and getting one where you don't pull the bistec out of the bread is is a plus but this was way beyond that, tender, tasty and a great value too! I'll definitly be back. I hear they also have get happy hour from 4-7pm with great apps so I may have to hit that after work one day.

I ate here for a late lunch after a rehearsal. As a most-of-the-time vegetarian, I was very appreciative that there are several options on the menu catering to vegetarians. I had the mushroom ceviche, which was delicious. It was presented nicely on a lettuce leaf with avocado slices and was served with sweet potato fries. I am a sucker for sweet potato fries, and while they were certainly good, they did not "wow". The marinade for the mushrooms was nice and bright. I also had a very tasty cafe con leche. I really wanted to try a dessert, but I decided I better not. I ate outside and had a nice view of the lake. Even on a hot day it might be OK to sit there as they have fans out and there was a consistent breeze. My server was very nice. Unfortunately she did not speak much English. Luckily, between her English and my terrible Spanish, we did not have a problem. All in all, I had a good experience. I would go back for sure.

Personalized attention from the owner Pepe and his wife Daisy who is also the chef and hostess. A great place where you can dine in or out and enjoy the open air by a little lake if you so want. Authentic Latin / Fusion cuisine in a trendy chic establishment. The decor is very clean and bright with just the right amount of accessories to suggest the delightful light airy eating experience. Sabores Cafe provides a great laid back environment to enjoy the ambiance as well as the food and maybe have some banter with the detectives from the Miami-Dade police HQ from across the street if you can keep the digestive juices flowing. I let Daisy suggest the flow for the afternoon, trusting my palate to enjoy her recommendations. For starters we had grilled beef on tostones topped with green chutney. Next split pea sopa with sausage and ham. For the main entry a fantastic lobster ravioli with cheese sauce and grilled shrimp. All of this accompanied with a spinach salad topped with feta cheese, walnuts, cranberries, and a sprinkling of sweet balsamic vinegar. The afternoon was topped off by an out of the world Tiramisu! Thanks to Daisy and Pepe we had a wonderful time at their place. This is a great place to enjoy an afternoon feel pampered and come out raring to take on the world again.

The food here is simply amazing. The presentation, the menu, the taste, the price. Everything is pretty perfect. My client brought me here for lunch one day and I was back within a week. The place is small, only 46 max occupancy so I would suggest getting there early. The wine prices are extraordinary for the quality. I've been told they are only open for lunch. The Lamb Loin Chops with Risotto were amazing and all the homemade desserts are good. The churrasco tostones are a must. Best restaurant in Doral if you ask me.

Awesome place. The food is so yummy and the staff is so nice. The owner of the restaurant always comes by the table and asks how the food is and if you are enjoying yourself. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to have lunch there next week. Also it's not just lunch... If you want to have breakfast it is amazing too.

OH MY GOD!!! it was DELICIOUS!!! some friends told us about this place that just opened up on NW 25th St, right accross from the Police station. So, we went to give it a try and, let me tell you, it is worth the drive if you are not in the area. They open early in the morning until 6pm (for now) and their menu is excellent. Hubby and I went with two of the girls at my office and we all had something different and all of our choices were GREAT! We had Yahaira as our very nice and gracious server and Daisy Diaz (owner/chef) came to our table to say hello. The "pan con bistec" was tasty, perfectly cooked, my prosciutto with mozzarella sandwich was also delicious, both with freshly baked bread, to die for. One of the girls had the "lomito de puerco" and the other one had the salmon and shrimp patties and WOW!!! also sooooooo tasty and delicious. The desserts are homemade by Daisy and OH WOW!!! (again) to die for. The "arroz con leche" was oh so good and the chocolate mousse, with triple sec was BAM! perfect! We wish Daisy and Pepe and their wonderful staff great success in their new place. Definitely our new favorite place for office lunch and, starting next week, they will be having, on Thursdays and Fridays from 4pm to 7pm, WINE DOWN, serving wine and beers with appetizers for the after work crowd (like us) and they'll be having music and domino tables...WOOHOO!!! AWESOME!!! go ck it out, I KNOW you'll love it as much as we did.
