Started off pretty slow but it got better once we actually got a server to come to the table. We were tired and quite hungry, not a good combo to be patient, but waiter was genuinely nice and I could tell right away he was new (he later told us it was his second week). Normally I would have been very annoyed but I could tell he was really trying hard to get things right so I let it go. Biscuits came out straight out of the oven, salad was fresh and our pasta dishes were yummy. Hubby had the Cajun chicken and I had the shrimp linguini. I recommend both items.

Oh, it's been a long time since I can finally write a good review regarding a server!!! THANK YOU, JESUS! (Well, his name was actually Gilbert!) He was so welcoming and always making sure everything was great! The food was good too (artichoke spinach lobster dip + chicken cajun alfredo pasta, etc) Feels nice to have a great restaurant experience once in a while :)

Just had dinner at this red lobster. I'm not into sea food but my bf is and he convinced me to try it. First of all... The place looks great. Walking into the place, a waitress was entertaining kids with a live lobster. They sat us down quickly and out waitress Rosa greeted us promptly. She was very nice and explained the menu to me. Gave me options that were delicious. She came around a few times to check up on us and even taught me to break crab legs open like a pro xp The food was also fantastic! I was so surprised at how well everything was prepared. We had the clam chowder, the stuffed mushrooms, the ultimate feast and the shrimps lover dishes. All of them were amazing!! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know.

I had a dinner date with my two year old so I was just looking forward to relax with him. I ordered the Mac and cheese for the little one, mussels for appetizer and crab leg dinner for me. We ordered the shrimp tempura to go and it was pretty good, still crispy when we got home a few blocks away. The atmosphere and decor was good as usual. It seems like the menu was recently changed so it's with visiting to see what's new. I was very surprised at how good the mussels tasted. The sauce was phenomenal, so will certainly come back to order that dish again. I was also surprised by the service, had a young server by the name of Michaella D. She was very friendly, attentive and had great situational awareness. I don't like when servers don't bother to occasionally stop by and even stop too often becoming a distraction. Michaella knew how to keep the right balance and it was certainly appreciated. Great job Michaella!!

Killing time before attending a meeting at my son's school, my son and I stopped in for an early dinner. No wait as the place was empty. After waiting for about 10 minutes at our table, our waiter finally came. He proceeded to speak to me in Spanish which rubs me the wrong way, even though I am Spanish and look the part, I speak perfect English and no one should assume otherwise. Apologies for getting sidetrack but this rubs me the wrong way. Ok, going back to my restaurant experience. Drinks came quick, appetizer arrived quick too; however, it was extremely greasy, we ordered the fried calamari which came with fried broccoli and fried red peppers. My son ordered the kids portion of snow crab legs and I ordered the wild caught stuffed flounder. The flounder was good, the lobster mash potatoes was good too, unfortunately the steamed broccoli that came with my flounder was extremely spicy. For dessert, My son ordered the chocolate chip lava cookie which is similar to the pazooky from BJ's brew house. I think their food is not the healthiest but I guess once in a while it doesn't hurt. By the way, when I told the waiter that I speak English, he apologized and was a very good waiter!

Came here today on a Wednesday night, hostess greeted us and got us a nice booth. Server was very attentive and hard working and very knowledgeable about the menu. Food came out very fast and the salad aND their bread was amazing. Great portion size for the food. This is my second time and it was better . Manager asked us how everything was. Only drawback was when I had takeout, they didn't have any 2 oz cups to put my garlic butter in. Overall, great restautant and will repeat

There are a few seafood places that I enjoy that are actually good for being corporate brand -franchise and red lobster happens to be that restaurant. Their biscuits are off the chain and you can't get better than that. I love how it's modern and it's clean and I love the location. The service is good I can't really complain. I had Julio as my server he was nice and very generous and informative. I like coming here and I will be returning.

Your'e either a fan of the bread or you're not. Its a good initial indicator if you'll like the rest of their offerings. Portions are filling even if they never resemble the menu images. However, it's not anything wonderful to keep me coming back frequently, especially with their inflated pricing. But if you're tagging along with a fan, its an adequate option. The bread is good, but lacks being great.

Great summer so far, And it got better when I found out that RL was having their endless shrimp deal. I literally didn't eat anything for 7 hours just so that I can really indulge. Our server was amazing!!!! Adrien gets a full 5 stars from me. He just kept popping shrimps from everywhere and all kinds. Kept out table full of meals and our glasses filled with drinks and cheese biscuits. We had all kinds of shrimp, popcorn, coconut, scampi, grilled, and their new soy wasabi (sweet with a small kick) really good. He even got us a plate of everything to bring over to our place once we were filled and we just couldn't see another shrimp tail. The offer is limited, satisfying and filling. I will be coming back before offer ends its really good and for 15 bucks what the heck. Come with a big appetite!!

On this visit, I took my grandmother on a lunch date. The waitress was great, she was very attentive to our needs and was very friendly. The food was good, I loved the shrimp fettucinni Alfredo here, but the shrimp scampi of my trio was a little overdone with the salt, for my taste.

The service was good, we ended getting the endless shrimp special. Waiter was professional, biscuits are amazing!! Coco shrimp with piña colada sauce is a MUST get!! Table was clean - greeter was nice, she even let us grab a lobster... Cool right? :D Anyways everything went well and will comeback

Loved the maine lobster the lobster was really fresh and tasty. Roasted with crab and seafood stuffing. Its really nice of them to give me us some drinks for the compensation of delaying the orders. We really appreciated that. I really recommend this place if you are into lobsters.

I live close to this restaurant, so I already have come here a gazillion times. When it opened about 10 years ago the service was great, but as it grew in popularity with the locals the place got packed and service started to lack. Sometimes we waited almost an hour to get seated... but I love lobster and Red Lobster is one of the places where I can afford to have it frequently. In the past I had given it 5 stars, but once I was so badly treated by a hostess (that literally kicked us out of the restaurant because a waiter allowed us to sit in the bar area without going trough her first), that I wrote a nasty review and even stopped to go to this restaurant for more than a year. Don't know why but that review was removed about a year ago, but no problem, Darden Restaurants sold Red Lobster and it is time for a revival. That is why I decide to write again about it. We were there yesterday to take advantage of Lobster Fest. I ordered the Lobster Lovers Dream (that's me!), and my daughter the Dueling Lobster Tails. Both dishes were excellent. Plus you get free salad and free cheddar biscuits (they are sooo good!). Great value! Service is a hit or miss, sometimes we have great service (Toby is the best waiter EVER) and sometimes it is very weak. Last nigh our waiter was very nice and attentive, but missing in action frequently, which forced me to ask stuff to other waiters (they hate that, since it is NOT their table, but they have to comply) One thing I like about this place is a lady manager (with crazy hairdos) that is very active and always running around the restaurant helping the staff and talking to customers. She does an awesome job, taking complaints and fixing them and making sure the staff is doing things right. Kudos for her. If she had been there the day I got kicked out by a paranoid hostess I'm sure she would have come to our rescue. In conclusion: very good food, good prices ... hit/miss service and long wait times... great manager... Recommended!

The food isn't bad, but the plates you get(entrees) don't match the great looking pics on the menu. I tend to stick with the appetizers only and the bread is always a plus. The new seaside sampler is my go to option since they have the best coconut shrimp on the planet and the other two items are great as well. Lobster pizza is also great at this location, although it's a mixed bag at others in my experience. No happy hour either, so that tempts me to knock it down to two stars.. Lol

My family and I absolutely loved the food and the service at this location. Seeing the 2 1/2 stars this establishment has is incorrect. For years I stayed away cause I've heard horror stories of other locations. The staff here is awesome! Attentive and polite. We went at 3pm, Friday. Jesse was our outstanding server. Super personable and effective. The food was great and cooked to perfection. My only regret is not having gone sooner. We'll definitely be returning.

Long time Red Lobster costumer. I was out of city and went back with friends to celebrate expecting the previous 5 stars place. What a dissapointment !!! At 8:00 PM they ran out of mahi mahi (yes, ran out of fish), my wife's order was incorrectly served, and they "forgot" to bring my corn which, upon my claim, arrived.....after we were done with the dinner (yes, you read right) Personally, I'm not going back to that place, sorry. Hope this might help other potential costumers.

Today I decided to go to Red Lobster instead of Macaroni Grill for lunch. After the long wait for wood-fire shrimp tacos, I was sooo ready to ask for my money back. I was sitting there forever. I was unaware of the $7.99 lunch special and the guy that took my order was very helpful in pointing out the special because the hostess did not. The place is very clean, looks brand spanking new yet they are slow. Very slow and I don't plan on returning again unless I have a lot of time to waste on my hands. Besides Biscuit was in the car waiting for me and it was HOT out side for my wallflower who pretends that the sun is melting him. Seriously on the ride down he kept rolling down the window in the truck. A new trick he learned and barking until I turned on the A/C. Oh yeah if you have a lot of time on your hand eat here. If you don't try somewhere else.

Came for a late dinner with my love about two months ago. The waitress was quiet and mumbled the whole time, which was very off putting. We couldn't really make out much of what she said, but we tried to be polite and pretend we understood. The food was solid, as it should be, however I was really disappointed that we were sat RIGHT beside a birthday party containing about 20 people, all drinking, shouting, and clapping the whole duration of our meal. The restaurant had tables dispersed throughout the whole dining room, so I wasn't happy with where we were sat. I wouldn't mind going back, however I do question the mindset of the staff here.

I ordered take-out from here. So I can't speak about the wait service or staff, but the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and professional. I prefer this location to the Biscayne blvd location. I would recommend this place and would come back.

I was really craving the biscuits so I got takeout of the 4 course meal. The wait time was 30 minutes and the manager came out and told me that the biscuits were burnt so they were making new ones. Which made me think, so is the rest of my meal just sitting there? Most likely was because my chicken was not hot, my biscuits weren't done all the way (I was eating batter and some parts were done) and all that cost me $18 (tax included). Not how I thought my dinner was going to be.

I went here for a late lunch, cause who could give up their lunch specials? Had really friendly and fast service. Was provided FIVE cheddar biscuits with my meal, and my lunch special even came with an awesome cesar salad. I couldn't believe all the food they gave me for $10.79, so I ordered a 2nd to go! Everything was cooked perfectly. The place was clean and the price was right. Thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks Red Lobster!

The last couple of times that I've been to this specific restaurant, the food have tasted bad, and honestly, the drinks weren't really that good. The staff is slow too... Would try a different place for sure!

Placed order for pick up they gave me the wrong thing but I didn't notice until I got to work. I called before I came back and the manager said she would see me. To which she straight up lied to me saying that the salad I ordered came with cucumbers and onions and that I just didn't know what the ingredients were. To which I responded with I looked at the menu on the website to order from and the include these and I said it looks as if instead they gave me a house salad to which is not hat I ordered. I'm allergic to cucumbers and tomatoes. I specifically requested none of these ingredients on a Bar Harbor salad and they told me that I what I received was the bar harbor but missing some ingredients. That was a bold face lie and the manager didn't apologize once. These people are liars bad service and they gave me a lunch portion of a mini salad when I ordered a full-size and paid for a full size salad do not go here they're bad! Also I paid for the handmade lemonade at $2.50 and didn't receive it went I went in the first time or when I had to go back to get the right thing I ordered!

I definitely think this place deserves more credit! At least a two extra stars for those damn cheddar bay biscuits which are AMAZING! And you can refill them as much as you want... Can't get any better than that. For an appetizer I recommended the Shrimp Nachos! For the meals during lunch you can get either get half the meal size or the full size which is good depending on whether how hungry you are. I'm a believer of Red Lobster!

Had to change my review, I went there for a quick bite the other night. The waitress took forever and keep calling me Sugar which I don't really appreciate. The food was cold and sodas came watery. When the bill finally came after almost 30 min wait. I had to break a $20 bill for tip. She totally pocked the money when I asked her she looked at me offended as if she earned it. Never going back.

I usually don't go to Red Lobster because if you go out for lunch or dinner you expect restaurant quality food, and their seafood is not fresh. Yesterday I stopped by for lunch with my wife and the service was terrible. Extremely slow, the waitress didn't get the order correct, and after waiting longer for her mistake the food arrived cold and tasteless, the broccoli rare and bitter. At the end the check arrived incorrect, with a maine tray charged twice. Obviously I left no tip, thats the best way to complain and reveal your insatisfaction because I hate discussions with waitresses and managers.

The environment is good, the service I had was better than average, but the food was horrible. The appetizer I ordered was chips with some sauce and shrimp. I realized it was a disaster when the server brought it onto the table. The chips was not crispy and the sauce was terrible. For the entree, I ordered a recommended one that has lobster, mussel, shrimp and noodles mixed together. There are too much noodles and too little seafood in it, and the flavor is not good enough either. For a restaurant at such a price, you would definitely have better choices. It was the first time I have been to a Red Lobster, maybe other shops are different, but I would definitely NOT go to this one again.

Looks like we are not the only ones that had a bad experience at this location. I have grown up going to Red Lobster with my family, and I would regularly go to the location on Kendall and 117 Ave. I stopped going since they tore that one down, but had a craving a few weeks ago and decided to go to this location. What a mistake. Everything went wrong here: The food, the service, and the atmosphere. From the stale fries to the bland entree, the horrible wait and the uninterested servers...I really have nothing positive to say in this review. Given that this is a chain, I am shocked at the quality difference between two locations separated by less than 10 miles. I hope management takes notice of these reviews, but with the crowds that you still see there on weekend nights, I fear they will have no motivation to care.

actual rating: 2.5. here's the deal- if you've ever tasted fresh, authentic seafood then you know this is NOT it! the best thing to come out of red lobster is their dinner rolls.

Well, it doesn't smell too good in here for some reason. It smells like a dirty wet mop. This place is packed. But eating fish on Good Friday. Well, we had a 50 minute wait, but it went by quick. We had an outstanding waitress which was quick and prompt. The dinner rolls (bisquits) were great as always. I had the stuffed flounder with rice pilaf and broccoli. Good healthy meal, but I have had better. No drink specials with was dissapointing. My party hit up the lobsterfest which looked great. They were all satisfied.

CHEDDAR BAY BISCUITS ARE THEBOMB.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that I got that out of my system... My boyf and I shared the 4-course meal for $15.99 p/p. Scrum-didly-umtious! I had the clam chowder soup, ah, it was what-evs. My boyf had the baked potato soup, which was better than my clam chowder. I had a cesar salad (who could screw that up?) I had My boyf had some pasta with scallops and shrimp and I haD chicken breast with mashed potatoes. The food was mediocre. Now, the hot mess about this place was that the they didn't have any tomatoes? (weird) and when it came time to order desert, the waitress said they didn't have 3 of 5 deserts that came with the promotion, and to top it off, they didn't want to replace it with a desert they DO have!!!!! The waitress said that she would call the manager to see if she would change her mind and give us whatever was left to eat in the restaurant, but we saw that a lot of customers were complaining left and right and we were like ughhh save the drama fa' yo momma.... So we told the waitress nvmd, just give us the check and be gone. The manager came anyway, and gave us the 2 deserts we wanted which were a piece of apple pie, and the most delicious chocolate cake. Oh, and the nice waitress hooked it up with another tray of biscuits to take home. Totally worth all the crap we sat through. At the end, it's not a bad place to eat, maybe next time I should pick another location where they actually serve what is on the menu.

Seriously how is this restaurant full? The food was garbage, the manager looking like a troll and she was walking around playing with her servers, here's a hint troll lady: GET YOUR SERVERS TO DO THEIR JOBS! the lobster was overcooked the fish over seasoned and the rice was mushy. Some would just send it back but i know that sending my food back would just result in the same garbage food being sent back out. This is where Cooks go to die, I don't know why i was expecting anything better. We felt ill after we left. I laughed in the managers face when she asked if we had a good night, its sad that this is what people think food should taste like.

Service was excellent, beer was yummy, food was good, but portions a little small, the appetizer (crab cakes) were DELICIOUS! Credit card machine comes to your table, that was by far the coolest experience! I was there on :03/22/09

My boyfriend and I decided to stop by Red Lobster for dinner to take advantage of their promotion of the "Four Course Seafood Feast." The wait time for this restaurant was about 1 hour but because it was a special occasion we decided to wait. The lobby was packed and it was our first time coming to this particular Red Lobster so we assumed it must be great because of the amount of people waiting in and outside of the restaurant to be seated. By the end of the meal, my boyfriend and I were very disappointed in the service and also the quality of food. I wish I could give 0 stars for the rating of this restaurant. The Service: Our server was decent (but that is just me being nice). He seemed to pay more attention to the bigger tables than ours and barely came over to see how we were doing or offered to refill our drinks. We practically had to say excuse me the whole time we were there to get his attention and I think he completely forgot about us. Besides that, he seemed to have a horrible memory when its comes to remembering orders and brought us the wrong desert after he was trying to clarify with us what it was before he went to ask the kitchen to make it because they forgot or he didnt put the order through. It took about another 30mins to an hour for our entrees to arrive. The Food: They need to hire new kitchen staff. The food took forever to come and with the 1 hour wait to get in, we were debating whether to just get up and leave to eat at Carraba's across the street but we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because it was crowded. When the food finally arrived, everything that we ordered was super salty. I ordered a caesar salad and it tasted like they dumped the whole container of salt when making the dressing, it just tasted like salty lettuce. The shrimp pasta was cold and again tasted like they dumped another container of salt into it and the 6 shrimps on the plate was so miniscule you couldn't see them drenched in sauce. The clam chowder was cold and tasted like salt. The cheddar bay biscuits was also very salty and did not taste as good as other Red Lobster locations. The desert was the only thing that tasted great but the portion was extremely small. If you are ever in the mood for seafood do not come to this Red Lobster. It is not worth the time spent waiting in the cold and definitely is not worth the money with the amount of sodium you are going to be consuming. I was seriously thinking to call the corporate office to complain.

I'm a fan of Red Lobster but was there on Friday night and our food was ok, my lobster was salty, ordered baked potato, got rice and so on. The server was very nice and attentive so it was easy to overlook their mistakes. Next time I'm going to Kendall.

I am a fan of Red Lobster...I feel the food and the dining experience is always great. They have many specials and I feel is money well spent. My only complaints is when I order Walt shrimp some times it comes over fried, lobster and other specials, bread is great. The new location in Kendall is really nice in ambiance.

My friend Bertha took myself and another coworker out for supper here. It is your regular family restaurant. This was my first experience and the best part was being with friends, but I think it was a little over priced. The food was good, but I was not anything special. I had shrimp, scallops, baked potato and a few fried seasoned potatoes with water to drink. The scallops were very good and the shrimp tasted like shrimp. Bertha ordered us some seafood stuffed mushrooms, they were good, but Oliver Garden and Macaroni Grill still have better tasting stuffed mushrooms. What I liked best was the service. The hostess and waitress were very nice and attentive.

Red Loster!! Well on my first trip to Miami Fl. from NY and yes I had to go to enjoy this sea food restaurant! I have to say that the shrimps. lobsters and mashed potatoes were delicious!! I went with a group of 4 and everyone was pleased and left empty plates !! The service was awesome!! Sylvester was such a great waiter! Had a great sense of humor , stating the fact that one of my friends is a little freak and made a few comments lol! We were also the last people in the restaurant, we actually got in a little late! but no rush from the staff, so we really got to enjoy our food~!
