I have eaten at many Brazilian churrascarias before and it is one of my favorites. What it lacks in glitz and glamor it makes up for in a cozy and inviting environment. Getting to the restaurant is a little tough because of the construction but it isn't that big a deal once you cross the street and construction is temporary. I was greeted by the manager and I was seated with my boyfriend. I read the other reviews and I don't think that the salad bar is small at all! I don't think people understand that churrascarias are not meant for you to fill up on the side dishes. You're there for the meat! Sides are there for you to cleanse your palate between meats, not be the whole meal. You're paying for all you can eat meat not all you can eat lettuce (unless you're vegetarian) I had them bring me EVERYTHING. The gauchos were surprised with how much I could eat (I'm small) there were so many cuts to choose from, which I will now butcher in spelling: churrasco pichana, rack of lamb, chicken heart, sirloin steak, baby pichana and a bunch more I don't remember. I went during a weekday afternoon after the lunch rush so it was not packed and I was attended to quickly and politely. Absolutely amazing experience, great food, and service. I will definitely be returning!!!!

So I came with a party of four! The service was great but most of the servers would benefit from a speech class! We couldn't understand anything they were saying, they were trying to explain to us what type of meat they were serving us however we couldn't understand a thing AND we're Cuban/American natives.. So to say we didn't understand them is saying ALOT! The Brazilian rice.. AMAZING! However most of the meat was extremely salty!! Like inedible salty... Not to mention the price! We were shocked! Texas de Brazil is much better so much more quality!!

Restaurant was recommended by a friend. Took family out to dinner for daughters Bday. Dinner was around 7pm; service started out nicely. In the middle of dinner, they "ran out of lamb chops"...hmmm? My daughter asked for filet mignon, which was offered as part of 15 or so cuts of meat, the waiter said he "would check on it" 15 minutes later, he came back with flank steak, so I asked him again, do you have the filet my daughter asked for, "let me check again". I am a pretty patient person, I asked him the third time, at which time he went to talk to his manager in the back and said that, " he thought they were out of filet, but happened to find some." 20 minutes later he came out to our table with 5 small pieces of filet. Hmmm..."found some filet in the back". Didn't want to let this ruin my daughter's bday mood, we went ahead and ordered dessert, finished up dinner and left. This is the first time I've ever been this disappointed to write such a review. Dropped $302...I expect a reputable restaurant to serve what it offers. They may have brought out about 6 or 7, not to mention the bacon wrapped filet, which never saw the day of light. Enjoyed time with my family, but would not recommend to any friend. Really disappointed!!!!!

Love this place! I come here and I love it. It's my favorite place for unlimited fresh meat I've been coming for a while and I love it!
(5)Juan C.
All the place smells terrible. Food is mediocre and expensive. I think is the worst rodizzio in South Florida. Won't come back again.

Tasty foooooood!!!!! I am Brazilian so of course I am picky and proud of our beautiful and delicious dishes!!! I would Definetely recommend to everyone who's in the area visiting. They have the rodizio meat lovers options- flip card to green side when you're in the mood for all kind of mouth watering meats or flip your card to red side when you've had enough... Staff is friendly and very professional. Clean area and great atmosphere. I hope to be back soon for sure!!!! I can never have enough of Brazilian food :)

Do not waste your money at this restaurant! Meat was under cooked, dry and totally disgusting! There name Churrascaria should be flank steak central! No churasco served here.

Their salad bar is good and I love their lunch specials, but by far not the best Brazilian steakhouse I've ever been to. Service is ok.
(3)Humberto F.
The steak was ok, it was pretty tender but very salty. The guys that bring out the meat were very friendly and attentive. My waiter however was terrible. I asked him for "regular, flat water" and he brings out a glass water bottle that eventually ended up costing me $12 (I had 2)! I didn't realize these water bottles were $6 each until the bill came. I've been to other restaurants that have served flat water in glass bottles before at no cost. I am sure they must have some kind of free water, he should have asked me if I wanted bottle water. I was very upset to have to pay an extra $12 for water.

My husband and I used to frequent a very pricey brazilian restaurant on Mary Brickell Village that happened to close down (I imagine the rent was insane for the large space they were renting!), so we were in a search for a new brazilian spot. We were very familiar with Doral and particularly this location, and had seen the restaurant a few times going down 25th street so decided to give it a try. In all honesty, the food quality was just as good and the price per person is not that bad either. As others have indicated, the location can be off putting at first...it's NOT in a business building (at least not anymore), but it is near a lot of construction that is across from it. So yeah, the restaurant can be a little bit hidden but the lit sign is helpful in bringing attention to it. The actual restaurant space is huge, but only a small space is reserved for sitting guests...which makes sense. I think the owners were smart in their choice as Doral is constantly growing and the construction is annoying now, but perhaps a sign of growth for the area? My husband and I really enjoy the salad bar; I particularly like the creamy veggie soup and mashed potatoes. They will usually have about 2 other specialty hot dishes. The salad bar is good too, but I usually refuse to fill myself with salad...I go to brazilian restaurants and pay money for the meat. From our experience, the meat is just as good as any other high end brazilian restaurant. Nicely seasoned and usually served medium-rare. They will also accommodate requests for well done meat. My husband and I don't eat pork products, so we stick mainly to the beef offerings and lamb. They also serve smoked pineapple that is fantastic. As for dessert, most are alright though I think some textures and flavors could be improved. All in all, we keep coming back because the food is good, the prices are fair and we always leave full and satisfied. We also bring our two year old and it's great that we don't have to actually pay for a separate dish for her as the salad and hot bar usually fills her. Worth trying if you don't mind not being at a "hotspot" like South Beach or the Grove.

It's good, but so overpriced!!! The guys with the steak disappear often :( Also took them awhile to get our check/charge us. While the buffet was pretty good and looked fresh, there was a weird smell and lots of bugs flying around. I think it may be the ceiling "waterfall" thing they have going on. Steak overall was good, although some pieces were real salty.
(3)Frank S.
Bad Bad service came to eat meat and only had 2 pieces after 20 minutes waiting. Meat guy big attitude Never again. No manager onsite or he is hiding.

Patrick & Tatiana My wife and myself, first time there on Sunday August 31. The overall meat selection was good, the flavor was very nice, they have a couple of things to work on, farofa and rice are so so, but they will improve on them. The owners were very nice and helpful. I will tell my friends to go with an empty stomach! We Will be returning soon.

Went on a Friday nite, Aug.1 2014. To my surprising it was not busy barely anyone was there. Now the food was really good. The Gauchos were excellent. My favorite cut of meat was the lamb, and the grilled pineapple was delicious and warm. I personally didnt care for the salad bar wish it had more cheeses more sides. My father and I are meat eaters so this the perfect place for us. Definitely will come back. If you're not a meat/ poultry eater this is not the place for you. Only negative thing we had to keep looking for our waiter when it came to refilling our drinks. This place is just like Texas De Brazil but cheaper. $35.99 for dinner. Same quality of meat.
(4)Tri N.
The service was great, nice and friendly workers. The salad bar and food over was great. Lots of choices and not as salty as it was before.
(5)Abdias R.
Let's start with it's location, it's in an office building? WTH?! Negative. You can easily miss if it you are not familiar with the area. Not to mention their sign is not lit so like us we drove right pass it... Ok now lets carry on with the FOOD and Service Details: Meats were overcooked (just like the previous reviews say). Not good flavor at all very bland. You had to add a ton of Chimichurri to all the meats, except the chicken. The chicken wrapped in bacon was moist, tasted good. Too bad it only came around once in the 1.5 hours we were there. Don't eat the bacon though it wasn't perfectly cooked. You can still see the raw parts to it. The salad bar had a few selections of vegetables which was great BUT of course you couldn't eat them because they were cold! I think they forgot to defrost them. Also, the salad didn't have any labels so you basically had to guess what you were eating. At one point, I thought I was grabbing peppers and tomatoes medley (at least that what it looked liked to me) well turns out it was Ceviche! lol - That was actually the only thing I enjoyed from this place. Service: I can't give this a good rating either. First, the waiters would make fun of you or look at you with a bad face if you ask for two peaces at one time. Yet you had no choice but to ask for two because the servers don't always go to your table. So you go a good 10 minutes w/out having any meats come to you. And yes, my sign was always on the green side. One more thing that annoyed me really, the servers were all Hispanics (that's not that bad part, I'm Hispanic myself) the part I did not appreciate is how they would address you... as if they have known you all their life or as if you were their sister/brother. To close for comfort in my opinion. I prefer a little demeanor than the typical "hola hola, quieres una salchichita" or my favorite of the night "me vas a dejar la cosina basia" That came from the guy who I asked to serve me two pieces of churasco. Keep in the mind the piece he first gave me was the size of a pinky! I think you too would ask for two pieces at that point. Overall experience - negative. Will I go back? NO!

$95 lunch for two without alcohol... Never again. The place is way overpriced for the quality and worse for the service. I had a LivingSocial coupon and even with that discount ended up paying more than I pay in other restaurants in the area with A LOT BETTER quality of food. The variety of salads and sides is poor and the meat nothing special. I won't recommend it...

My wife is Brazilian and after reading below reviews we were skeptical. The sign out side was lit so no more passing the restaurant. Yes it's location could use work but inside the place was pretty nice. We had a wonderful conversation with a follow Brazilian food was great but the workers def. should speak Portuguese or learn it to keep the authenticity. Also the buffet should have labels other than that it was rather quick and enjoyable. Minus my drinks I had to ask for lol. Not a bad spot to eat. I'd say they have fixed a lot of the complaints below.

First off, this is where the 7711 SW 40th St location moved to. It looks like an office building until you get inside. The ambiance is great. We were a little nervous when we walked in and a family of 3 were the only other customers. It was 6:30 on a Sunday night. However, once we got seated, the service was spectacular. The salad bar had all the usual Brazillian Steakhouse fare and the meats were fantastic. On the table were delicious banannas rolled in cinamin, yucca, and puffed rolls. It seemed like we got all the first cuts of the meat. All the beef was outstanding and even thought we were the only ones eating, they were not stingy to bring out spit after spit. We had: Top sirloin, filet mignon, skirt steak, and a couple other beefs. We were offered leg of lamb but were too full for it. My wife had the pork ribs and they were just OK. The reason for the 4 stars was because the non-beef was very salty. The chicken and sausages dried us out. Luckily, they were quick to refill our waters. The only other downfall, but not a reason for a star deduction was the lack of grilled pineapple. However, they cost about $10.00 less than Fogo or Texas de Brazil, which allowed us to sample 2 fabulous desserts.

This is my first bad review about any place but this place was the worst experience I ever had. As a local I'm used to very good steak places such as Texas de Brazil or Punto Sur but I decided to try something new. The steaks were tough and mostly fat, the salads were rather horrible, the only average thing was the mashed potatoes and the sangria. I asked to speak to the manager when I found a hair (I have to mention it didn't look like it came from nobody's head) and the server told me there was simply no manager, ridiculous and disgusting. The total ended up being the exact same price as Texas de Brazil so if you want a lot better quality good, a nicer atmosphere and 100 times better service go to Texas de Brazil or even The Knife.

I came here for a company lunch so i can't really comment on if it was worth it but i'll try my best to give an honest opinion on the food and service. You have these little square, what looks like drink coasters, one side green one red...flip it on green for go eat eat eat and red for i'm stuffed i'm going to die (however i noticed that it really doesn't matter what side it's on, they kinda keep on coming over until they get tired of you saying "no, no, i can't...ok fine...no no i can't ".) The salad bar was pretty awesome, i could totally just go for that alone...they even had some tabule which i was surprised to learn that Brazilians enjoy it as much as i do. The meats were pretty good but my only complaint was that most of the meats looked beyond rare...i know people like that but i'm more of a medium kinda guy. When it's cut that thin, i want it to be cooked well. Drinks were good and desert as well. The staff was attentive and friendly. Will i come again....eh....if the boss pays...sure.

Food was good, service was alright. I ordered a homemade lemonade and it was warm. The place is within building offices but hey that makes it close to my office :) The green or red card was disregarded. After I went red, they still wanted to stuff me. Places is a bit pricy but overall not a bad lunch. Would come here again if someone else was paying.

I have been to this location before and had a great time. The salad bar was good, with many offerings. The cesar dressing is really good. They also have a good garbanzo bean salad. The meat was very tasty, especially the baby sirloin which melts in your mouth. On the first occasion we got garlic bread which came on the skewer like the meat . The garlic bread has to be the best I ever tasted. We also got grilled pineapple that was sliced at the table like the meat, it was caramelized and delicious. We decided to come back for a second time because we really enjoyed ourselves. The first time our waiter was great he was very attentive offered us dessert and would check on us every so often. We were not so lucky the second time, we got a waiter named Ernesto . We noticed that he was very rushed. It's not like he had a lot of tables. I think only 3 the problem here is tip is included in the check so the bigger the party the more the tip he was very attentive to the bigger party table but not to us ,we had to stand up and find him to ask for our drinks to be refilled. We were there for two and a half hours. For me the service was terrible the second time. We might have to try the other location in Fort Lauderdale. We weren't offered as much meat this time as we were the last time nor garlic bread. The three stars are only because of our service yesterday.

As soon as I entered the restaurant I felt out of place. The hostess was on the phone and just pointed at the next person that was unaware that we were waiting. As soon as we were seated the waiter had an attitude because we showed him a groupon discount. Apparently if you have a coupon by these companies such as (groupon/living social) they alienated you and treat you different. Honestly I felt bad at this point and debated on walking out. So the drinks came and to my surprise my fiance noticed a fly was floating in my cup of water. I then walked over to the bar food and picked out a cheese and when I sat down I noticed the small roach sliced in the cheese. After I brought it up with our waiter he took the glass from us and came back with an attitude and kept talking about why he does not like advertising groupon deals. Throughout the night I felt as if everyone was talking about us and I will never return to this restaurant ever. I will be contacting consumer report and will show the pictures. They could have at least apologized for the creatures they are breeding in Brazaviva.
(1)Melissa P.
The location looks like an office building.. Thank god I know the area. The food was over cooked and over priced. The service was good but they were too on a "personal" level. They do honor Groupon. Overall experience was negative. I will not go back!!
(1)Sam S.
The meat was undercooked, even if you ask for well done your meat is still bloody. For some people this is okay but undercooked beef is not my thing. The salad bar and sides are very limited and nothing stood out as tasting great. The servers are all Hispanic and some of them do not even try to speak English so if you don't speak Spanish it will be hard to ask for what you want. There options are also limited as far as the meats are concerned, there were about 4 choices on rotation which is nothing like what I am used to in Brazilian style rodizio. Lighting was not so great, very dim. Parking is directly in front of the office building that is it located in. The waiter was standard, no complaints there. Ordered a cheesecake and it was a little below standard, there are better cheesecakes at Publix.
(2)Sarai M.
Listen people I'm being nice with a three. Ok got there saturday for lunch. The salad bar was great, very clean the food was nice. The meat it took a while to get to our table and the restaurnt only had two tables. I know meat...for the price the quality should have been better. I prefer Texas de Brazil.. they have better meat and more choices.
(3)Stephanie M.
It was ok... 2.5/5 They have a "nice" salad bar and really good prices for lunch.
(2)Carmen D.
So far has best flavored marination for brazilian steakhouse in miami. I just love the flavors. Unfortunately lacks in customer service last time I was there waited 15 minutes to get waitstaff attention. That's a bit much.
(4)Rick M.
was entertaining guest from overseas in Doral and wasn't sure where to take them. Called a friend of mine who works close by and he recommended Brazaviva that had recently moved into an office building which his son was currently working as valet parking attendant. When I arrived and looked at building figured that this was a big mistake. Drove up to his son and he assured it was a good place similar to Texas do Brazil but cheaper. Not only did I get free parking (less his tip) but food was great. It was a pleasant surprise for lunch on a clueless afternoon.
(3)H S.
Went on Friday, San Valentine's day. they were charging $60.00 per person all inclusive, too much for what we ate, the service and the meat wasn't that great. don't expect going back.
(2)Pheeby B.
I went here for a very early dinner. Like 5:30. I went with my boss (who paid) and a few coworkers. I have no idea what the place cost, but I am assuming standard churrascarria (sp) prices. First things first, whoooaaa nelly, that was a proper caipirinha! Granted, I have never been to Brazil, but I have had a few caipirinhas in my day, and theirs were top notch. I'll take 3 please. The place was empty, we were literally the only table (refer to first line: dinner at 5:30.) The servers were attentive but not harassers, which can't be easy when we were the only table. The salad bar was alright, nothing on Texas de Brazil, but alright. Improve that significantly, and I will award another star. The quality was fine but selection wasn't mystifying. I want to be mystified, doggone! Bring on the meat!!! I was at a table of Texas/Fogo regulars, and picanha addicts. If you listen to our table at all, which I know you did, because we were the only table, you would know not to waste your arm muscles bringing chicken or pork. As my boss would tell you: "no cheap sh*t." And he means it. And he said it. So we requested more picanha, more churrasco etc. Problem was they didn't starting bringing the good stuff until late in the game, when we had already settled in the mean time. Slick. Other issue, is that the meat was dry because it must have been left from lunch. reheated, meh. I would try this place again, but maybe on a Friday or sat night, where the meat is in higher rotation, critical mass seems important for the best experience at any Brazilian steak house. Other nit pick: The music! Samba, then ludacris, samba, then flo-rida, bossa nova, then aventura. Please. I don't know if this was some schizo pandora station you guys "made" back in the kitchen. Please just stick to the Brazilian jams, it helps perpetuate the Brazilian vibe, which is already jeopardized by serving us in Spanish. I don't mind, but it reminds me I am in El Doral instead of heee-ooo deuh janayyyrrooo :)
(3)Vane B.
SO I went with the Hubby here because we were starving and just went to the first place we saw. Upon arrival the people seemed amazing. They were really nice but since we went a little early I felt like it was a little too much attention after a while. They looked kind of dead. It is a new restaurant there are certain things they need to work on. They need to work on warm bread. They need to time when the meat comes out a little better. The servers looked scared to come up to you. If it's green go for it the worse the person is going to say is no. If it's red that means don't come.
