Really great pizza! 2 Large (14") 2 toppings for $19.99 You won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite greasy, cheesey pizza places. I usually get the lunch which for me is 2 slices of pizza and a fountain drink. Total cost $7.41 and I leave stuffed! You can sign up for web deals and some are great. They've changed their menu eliminating the pasta dishes but still have great pizza and wings.

We were on our annual beach vacation in Destin, FL and decided one night that we wanted pizzas and wings... So I got on yelp and saw that Merlins Pizza have a lot of good reviews with lots of locals backing it up. Me and the boyfriend end up ordering a Large Hawaiian pizza (16.99), with 20 piece hot wings. We got 10 of the hot wings in their sweet buffalo sauce and the other 10 in regular hot. This was a togo order and Merlins pizza packaged the wings in togo containers with sauce on the side. I liked this because I can then mixed the sauces and just shake it up when I get home and it will be less messy to transport. After we went home and tried the pizzas...we thought it was a-okay... nothing spectacular. The wings on the other hand...were our favorites. I loved the sweet buffalo sauces and thought it was really good. If we are ever craving wings while we are in Destin in the future, we would come back to Merlin for the wings only. Also,if you check in on yelp, they give you a free soda of your choice. :)

I should have gone to Mellow Mushroom, but I did not (this is on me). This place was fine. Cheap pizza that is made quickly, not fast. People who work there are also three stars.

  • Paul O.

Pizza was off da chain. We got da supreme it was good, real good. Dey delivered it too shoot. Da Marianna sauce was good too, we was dipping our garlic bread in dat sauce

Loved it!! Amazing little spot in the corner! Our waitress was awesome! She was very helpful and made sure our daughters were taken care of. The food was hot and tasted fresh. Too bad we are not locals but I'll defiantly be back when in Destin.

While on vacation had a taste for pizza. Checked Yelp and found this place. Got a All Meat pizza with extra cheese and loved it. Will definitely go back when we're in the area again.

Need a low key place and don't want to spend $100 on dinner again? Come here. Great spot with great atmosphere. Mural on the wall is beautiful. Small family owned joint. The family and I wanted something inexpensive and away from the throngs. This was the place.

  • Tom B.

Their seafood pizza was incredible! I also tried a slice of the sausage pizza that was very good.

  • Keith M.

Ordered the Combo Supreme and it was absolutely great! I suppose we have gotten used to the chain pizza's over the years and its wonderful to try a real "home-made" pizza. We ordered "to go" and brought it back to the condo. Hey, the car was filled with the smell of one of the best pizza's we have ever had. Service was excellent. We WILL be visiting Merlin's again!!

  • Ryan C.

Good pizza delivered fast. When I called to place my order I asked what pizza they were known best for. They recommended the cheeseburger pizza and it didn't disappoint. It's not the best pizza you've had, but it is certainly better than the delivery chains. I would order it again.

  • Holly N.

Really good pizza! We were referred by the hotel staff and they were right -excellent choice! We will be back.

    (5)
  • Justin B.

We had the seafood pizza and mild wings....absolutely perfect! Will definitely be back!

  • James J.

This place has an amazing menu, waitstaff, and atmosphere! The cheesy bread is covered in cheese which most places don't do anymore. The pizza is outstanding. The crust is the best we've ever had and the gluten free pizza is the best anywhere! This is a must stop if in Destin or Fort Walton Beach!!

    (5)
  • Cole V.

Great pizza place! I normally don't eat much crust but it was so crisp and crunchy that I found myself chowing down on it too. The toppings are great and the prices are rather cheap compared to the jacked up prices other restaurants gouge tourists with. The pizza looks even better than the pics!

First night on vacation and no one wants to cook. Pizza is what's on the agenda, and good ol' Yelp says Merlin's has the best rated pizza in the area. I can see why. The crust was good. Not too hard. Not too chewy. And overall, the pizza was tasty. Herbs on the veggie were a nice touch. And the Seven Cheese White Pizza was very tasty. Pizzas were ready on time, as promised. (We picked them up.) It seems clear Merlin's has a large following, even among a rapidly turning-over tourist crowd. Prices seemed a little high, but I otherwise enjoyed the pizza, and would totally order from Merlins again whenever I'm next in the area.

    (4)
  • Cassie L.

I'm giving Merlin's 3 stars because my boyfriend enjoyed the boneless fry Buffalo wings. The pizza was really mediocre - nothing more. The breadsticks were gross and the sauce tasted acidic. (I rather sweet sauce). They told me 30-40 minutes delivery. Took around 1 hour. Overall it wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't order again. Go with Pizza Hut or dominos.

    (3)
  • Kaleesa D.

This pizza was fantastic! The sauce tasted freshly made and our server was really nice. The pizza was greasy, but it was a good greasy. We had the "meat lovers" pizza and a pepperoni, both on hand tossed crust.

  • Bryant B.

Great Pizza and good price. Very unique styles of pizzas and all were very good.

Conveniently located near most of the beach condos in Destin, but because of this, they are very busy during normal meal hours. We tried to order our pizzas online around 6PM and it indicated that, including delivery time, it would take an hour and a half for it to arrive.. which is kind of ridiculous in my opinion. We ended up having some of us drive and pick it up because that cut the time to an hour wait. I ended up sharing a medium pesto chicken pizza. It wasn't greasy/oily, which I liked, but the flavor was a little bland. However, I'd rather it be a little plain than over salted (you can always add seasoning yourself, but it's harder to remove if it's already too salty). For the two of us, the medium was a little small, so I would recommend a large. Given the smaller-than-usual portions, the price is a little high for your typical carry-out pizza, but what do you expect when you're smack in the middle of a touristy area. Still, it was decent food and allowed our group to be lazy at our condo, as long as you don't mind the wait.

  • Mandy G.

Delicious pizza! After a long day in the water we came back to our condo exhausted so I looked on Yelp, ordered my pizza, and hoped for the best. Guy on the phone said it would take an hour but pizza came within 30 minutes. Pizza was PIPING hot! That's an A+ in my book. Pizza was tasty, cheesy, and perfect!

    (5)
  • Christiaan N.

Delivery took a long time. Preparation to packaging was sloppy. They didnt even put tissue or anything with our orders. The only reason this is a 3-star is because of the manager who took our orders and was very helpful.

    (3)
  • Amy Z.

They deliver - and they're not a major chain. I got a hand tossed sausage & mushroom pizza and breadsticks. Not great, but not bad. I'd pick them over a big chain any day though.

    (3)
  • Jeff W.

I'm in on Merlins! We ordered a meat-heavey pizza and I could definitely taste each of the different toppings, a hard feat to achieve on that kind of pie. We went hand-tossed; would like to try the thin crust as well. I also noticed there is a gluten free option. I'm very impressed by their commitment to being a quality local establishment. They emphasize local ingredients and their guarantee (they'll swap out any pizza for a comp from a competitor for free) is quite amazing. I like local pizza joints and these folk seem to be kindred spirits. If you are looking for pizza around Destin I'd start here!

    (4)
  • Carlie H.

Pizza was very good and not too greasy... delivery took quite awhile, but it WAS a Friday night. We had sausage pizza with extra cheese. It was delicious! Meatballs were tasty. Breadsticks were good, too. Definitely a good choice if you want pizza!!!

    (4)
  • Elise C.

Awesome pizza and a great staff. We ordered and picked up our pizzas, wings and cheesy bread after only 20 minutes and it was all very affordable! This place was definitely yummy and the inside is very clean and welcoming!

    (5)
  • Alan C.

This was a great delivery pizza. They have lots of cheese and boast a unique flavor. We ordered this after a day of traveling to Destin. It hit the spot and left us weary travelers fulfilled. They have lots of options and reasonable prices. The delivery driver was also more customer service oriented than you would expect.

    (5)
  • Josh G.

Great food, great service. Our pizza was running a little behind so they gave us free breadsticks and comped my soft drink.

    (4)
  • Javier R.

Tourists here and we were told this was the best pizza place in the area. Walked in and 1st impression was this is a very small place. We were seated right away but the waitresses were not on the same page and one seemed to be in a panic because they were getting slammed. 45 min later and we still had no pizza, had to ask twice and the waitress eventually offered free bread sticks. Over an hour later and finally had our pizza, my kids were starving. Pizza was OK but i was a little disappointed, it's not the best in the area. Although the staff is nice and apologized, it doesn't really make up for having to wait over an hour to eat. They need to hire more people and stay staffed, especially on a Saturday night. Next time we are in Destin, we will not be back to Merlins .

    (2)
  • Lauren D.

The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was delicious. Seasoned chicken, great buffalo sauce, gooey cheese - the perfect pizza! We also liked their regular breadsticks. If you order them, however, look out, they're huge. Our waitress was very kind and checked in with us throughout the meal. I just wish they delivered to Fort Walton Beach!

  • Chester R.

Life is too short to eat corporate pizza !!! Love the mission statement and we loved the hand tossed pizza. Will try thin crust before we head back north. Thanks guys.... They also have a very good online ordering system that takes credit cards.

    (5)
  • Curtis P.

Very good food and service. Can't go wrong. Pizza was great. Fun atmosphere. Will return.

    (5)
  • Nate C.

Good pizza and friendly service. Got the supreme, veggie, and Hawaiian pizzas...all delicious!

  • A. G.

Excellent! Strongly recommend the jalepeno cheese bread! They deliver and the food was very good!

    (5)
  • Natalie M.

Best pizza I've had in like ever! Every pizza made with loving perfection, gonna lose my girlish figure. I appreciate the fresh ingredients. Super duper YUMMY. Everyone working there looks purposeful creating pizza euphoria. I mean, most pizza shops employ stoners who burn pizza or don't get your order correct!

    (5)
  • Brian S.

Excellent pizza. The restaurant is designed more for carry out, as it is quite small. Sounds like delivery times were a bit excessive at 90 minutes. But for carry out, it's well worth it.

    (5)
  • Zerring J.

Hands down the best I've ever eating when I visit Florida I will be back thanks @djco

    (4)
  • Songee K.

I had the Garden Salad, Hot Wings and a medium hand tossed pizza with combo supreme and Hawaiian laua. I'm told that I often make comments on how a certain dish could be improved blah blah blah...so does that mean I'm picky?? Lol but wow I was surprised. Salad was very fresh, pizza was just delicious from the crust to the generous amount of toppings, wings oh my god...good flavor, the right amount of heat and cooked just right. I highly recommend this place!

    (5)
  • Julianna H.

It was just ok, not great. All pies except the sea food pizza were extremely cinchy with the toppings. The mozzarella sticks were awful. :'( I got a gluten-free pizza for the spouse but it was burnt and disgusting - but really that's every g - free pizza everywhere. Merlins was a tad pricey for the quality.

    (2)
  • Vicki B.

Very good, fast service. Just a little local eatery, more carry-out and delivery than dine-in. But we enjoyed eating here. They had the radio tuned to a great station--102.1, I believe. My hubby and I enjoyed a combo special of pizza and wings. Great tasting food. The only downside was that they only served Pepsi products. We don't do Pepsi, so we had ice water. I couldn't drink mine due to the taste. But we found out that they carry Diet Mountain Dew, which is pretty good, so it turned out well. Try this local pizza place. You might even give them 5 stars.

  • Lacey H.

I placed a to go order online arrived quickly about 40 minutes. I ordered chicken parm and it was horrible had a very bad taste to it not sure why tried to eat the pasta but i could still taste the chicken the breadsticks were okay not very flavorful i was disapointed maybe if im back in the area I will try their pizza.

    (2)
  • Melissa H.

Yum! Pizza just delivered to our hotel and it's deelish! Thin crust supreme added bacon and green olives. This pizza is slammin!!!

  • Barb J.

Excellent pizza. Reasonably priced. Great service...very kind and courteous staff. Will go back!

    (5)
  • Bristan K.

This pizza is AMAZING!! Their specialty pizzas are the bomb. If you get a boring regular pizza, it's nothing special. I had the pollo Bella, vegetarian, and buffalo chicken pizza. All we're excellent! Definitely going back regularly.

    (5)
  • Sherri B.

1st try and it was very good pizza Had good taste and we had both types of crust. Personal I loved the thin crust. Our daughter loved the regular crust. Both our pizzas were very good. A little pricy but than again it's better. Much better than papa Johns pizza or Domino's pizza . I would recommend their pizza for a good taste.

    (4)
  • Victor D.

Superb pizza! Kris provided great service. Make sure you get hand tossed, loved the taste of the cheese. Only complaint is if you dine in they give you cheap plates, so if you use fork and knives it leaves a mark in the plate.

    (5)
  • Shawn T.

Excellent Pizza ! Definitely the best in Destin Florida ! Staff was great, service has always been fast, place is very clean and well kept .

    (4)
  • Lee K.

I had a medium sausage and pepperoni hand tossed pie. It was hot and tasty, but not great. Still a decent effort, and I'd eat there again.

    (3)
  • Andres T.

The service was great, the tables even have individual small TVs to watch anything you want! The pizza was good, a regular special Greek pizza. The soda fountain drinks could be better....

    (4)
  • Keli M.

We were looking for a late night snack and we found it at Merlins Pizza. It was absolutely delicious although a little greasy the thin crust was perfect. It made our night and took care of our hunger needs.

    (4)
  • Haylie S.

Sooo good! Ordered on our first night in Destin and enjoyed it very much. We got the Hawaiian Luau with thin crust, the Barbecue Chicken, and a pepperoni+mushroom, both with regular crust. To be honest I probably could have eaten the whole Hawaiian Luau myself, it was so good. Got to our rental house really fast too. Definitely ordering again!

When you want pizza, but don't want to feel pressured into one of the many Italian sit-down joints in Destin, Merlin's is a great pizza place without having to subject your cravings to the Big Three of Fast Food Pizza (You know who you are). Merlin's has an impressive menu, their staff is always friendly and on the ball, and their pizza is really well made and delicious. They have a list of gourmet and specially pizzas that will turn the seemingly effortless decision to "order a pizza" into a real chore. The Merlin's menu also features wings, calzones, pasta - and salads for the red-headed step children in your group who would uncharacteristically prefer to eat rabbit food. Order your pizza online or on the phone. Get it delivered. Get it take-out. Get it...and have a seat in one of their booths, making trips over to their old-school 80's style table top Ms Pac-Man arcade game (that's right)! You can also watch The Game on one of their flat screen TVs, and yeah, of course there's ice cream. Pizza? Get it here.

  • Haley W.

We LOVED this pizza and bread! We had the pepperoni explosion pizza and the six cheese bread- so good! Would highly recommend, we will certainly be getting more pizza from this place.

    (5)
  • Jules W.

Pretty, pretty, pretty good. We ordered delivery and guess what? It arrived BEFORE the quoted time. That never happens. Never. And the pizza was tasty to boot. We ordered the hand tossed. May want to try thin crust next time. As a Chicago gal, I'm pretty picky about pizza - but will def order again. I also ordered the side salad. I won't do that again. It was t-i-n-y.

  • Ben L.

1st try was good. Ordered 12 inch cheese hand tossed pizza for kids and 14 inch thin crust supreme pizza. Cheese and toppings were good. Hand tossed and thin crust had good crust texture. The pizza sauce was bland but overall, the pizza is good. Ordered 10 wings with spicy garlic sauce and sweet buffalo sauce and both were good. The wings and sauce are kept separate so you dip the wings in the sauce yourself.

  • Jo S.

Great people, good pizza! The young man working the register is helpful and has a great, friendly attitude. Some of the booths have individual small flat screen tv's, so we were able to watch a program of our choice, while we ate. Our pepperoni, mushroom and green olive pizza was fresh, hot ,and only took about 20 minutes to arrive. We were there during a 'non touristy' week (April 13th), so it was not crowded, though it looked like quite a few people were coming in to pick up to-go orders. Our hand tossed pizza was the perfect thickness for us, as we like pizza thin, but not cracker thin. When we asked, they told us their thin crust is Very thin, if that's your favorite crust. The outer crust of the hand tossed is thicker, but we enjoyed it like a breadstick. Next time, I would add extra sauce to our pizza, and it would be nearly perfect. Local, homestyle pizza, and great staff; we definitely plan to come back.

  • Kelli S.

Want to make your mouth water? Order in at Merlins and wait for your pizza. It's nothing fancy, your typical pizza shop with tables and booths for guests to eat at. The hand-tossed pizza crust is fluffy and delicious. Chicken Bacon Ranch is to die for. and Philly Cheese steak pizza is awesome! If you are VERY hungry and in need of a quick bite stop my Merlin's you won't be disappointed.

    (5)
  • Tasha R.

The pizza was okay. The crust seems to taste like all the others in the area. I used the yelp check in and got a discount.

    (3)
  • Jenn F.

Pleasantly surprised. Expected mediocre pizza but got 2 larges for 12 each and tried supreme in both thin and hand tossed. I preferred the hand tossed. Will return.

  • Helen L.

Came here based on Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. I am not a huge pizza connoisseur but my husband is. We both loved the thin crust meatball Parmesan pizza!! The crust was awesome, thin, crispy, flavorful. You could tell they used good cheese and the sauce was really yummy. My husband said it was the best pizza he had in a long time, and we were recently in New York. The place is a small casual place with 5 tables. You order then sit down.

Well, well, well ... was sitting down to catch up on all our reviews from our latest family vacation and couldn't resist reviewing this local pizza joint. After a long day at the beach, we were too tired to head out for dinner so we decided we would order delivery pizza and since this was advertised on a card in our condo we opted for Merlin's. The kiddos decided on the lasagna and the hubby picked the pesto basil fettuccine. The rest of us ordered an XL 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese pizza and two side salads with plenty of ranch and Caesar dressing. We were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour for delivery - no biggie. Our total was a little under $50. The delivery was on time but when the driver came to the door he had one pizza box and one brown bag. I asked him if that was our entire order because it looked like pieces were missing and he said, "that's all they gave me". We paid, tipped him, and when I went into the condo to check we were missing all our salads and dressing. We caught the delivery guy and he said he would let them know when he got back and I called them from the condo. The manager said she would send them but it would be another 30-45 minutes. EEEK!! With a condo full of hungry people, my husband called back and explained how inconvenient this was and that we would be waiting to eat until our full order was received. They said they would get it over right away and refund our money. Well - about 20 mins later they dropped of 3 salads (still missing one salad) and two packets of FRENCH dressing. Never did we ask for French ... what the hell!! So, at that point we just cut our losses and I went down the the lobby bar in our condo and paid for dressing. NEVER again will we order from them. It doesn't matter how good the food is ... if the service is horrible it ruins your whole meal!! Oh - about the food - the pizza was pretty good (even reheated). The pastas were not as great but that's what you expect ordering pasta from a pizza joint. Hubby's was dry and servings were small.

  • Craig J.

Solid pizza, and friendly staff. Overall a good choice for good pizza, if you're in the area, but I don't know if it's spectacular enough that I'd drive way out of my way for it.

  • Jay P.

Great pizza. Local dive. Just our style and atmosphere. The food was really really good. We shared pepperoni pizza, salad and spaghetti we all really enjoyed it and the price was just right as compared to other local eateries. My tummy and wallet thanks Merlin!

Arrived in Destin after 13 hours in the car and didn't feel like going out on a busy Friday night. Ordered two 14" pizzas to be delivered to condo. Price with delivery fee very reasonable. Was told order would arrive in 50-60 mins and it actually arrived in 45 mins. Great pizza would order again!

  • David P.

I placed my order from the merlinpizza.com web site and saved $7.99 on two large pizzas. The crust was good and a good amount of toppings. I placed a to-go order and the restaurant was packed full. My pizza was ready when they told me, it was hot a full of flavor. Very good.

    (4)
  • Bobby N.

This definitely not your big chain pizza place. The toppings are flavorful and the crust is very tasty. (Try the Greek pizza. It's awesome.) the prices are VERY family friendly. This place is definitely a feather in Destin's cap!

  • Scott M.

From the parking lot, this place looks like a carry-out only pizza place. But behind the blacked out doors and windows are a handful of booths and tables for dinning in. You still order at the counter but they bring the food to your table. Lots of "specialty pies" to chose from or order your own combination. We started with pepperoni cheese bread with dipping marinara sauce which was awesome. Plus we got to try the garlic cheese bread too. There was another table that was using same name as ours so when they called out our name, the other table was closer, and our bread was delivered to their table. I don't even think they ordered bread because they looked confused about it but they dug in anyway! The girl up front figured it out right away and apologized and put another order in for us. Meanwhile they brought out some garlic cheese bread to hold us over! Well handled. The pizza showed up right away too. Thin crust Hawaiian and traditional crust with bacon and banana peppers. Both 12" medium size. Both were delicious. Now pizza is tough to rate because everyone has their favorite. And it's nearly impossible to compete with it. And when you're hungry, it's hard to find bad pizza! I'm a fan of thin crust pizza that is crispy as a cracker yet still enough toppings and sauce to call it pizza. This came close but not quite. But still great thin crust. You can hold a slice in one hand without it bending in half, which is a good start, and the toppings and sauce were satisfying. The traditional crust was great too. Nice chewy crust but not doughy. I prefer to try local flavors over chain restaurants and this was worth the stop. We took home leftovers for lunch the next day. The "fountain drink rip-off" was in play. I think I paid $9 for 4 bottomless drinks. That set the total bill over $40. Still worth it. But I think they sold two liter soda bottles for $2.25 and one bottle would have served us fine. But with four people, we couldn't decide in one flavor so went with fountain drinks. Glad that we stopped and tried it. My search for the best pizza in Destin might still be on.

Their pizza is delicious! We went over spruing break and since we've been home whenever we have pizza night we all say "I wish there was a Merlin's here!" I am an adult that likes cheese pizza and realy enojyed the white pizza. A nice way to add a little wow to cheesiness. We will definitely return to Merlin's!

Decent pizza, we ordered by the slice. Kids devoured it with no complaints. Small place, quick service. Would definitely go back.

  • Jerome M.

So tasty and affordable :) Def will come back if you've ever felt tired of eating your all-time favorite Corporate America pizza then head straight to Merlin! I wasn't disappointed at least from my experience.

Do yourself a favor and order the Cheeseburger Pizza. Yes, it sounds disgusting - but it's so tasty!

    (4)
  • Alice M.

We came in not long before they closed for the night and still got great service. The pizza was awesome! We just a plain cheese pizza with the hand-tossed crust but there was nothing plain about the pizza. There was the perfect amount of cheese, it was piping hot, and the crust was to-die-for! Definitely am planning on going back!

This place has awesome pizza. It's almost like a deep dish, but not greasy. Price was decent too, around $25 for two specialty medium pizzas with delivery. The gentleman who delivered was so nice, and thanked us profusely for a tip that was only 20%. We were so impressed with him and the quality of the food, I wrote an email to the owner. He responded right away and even said that since my husband's name is Merlin, it would only be appropriate he get a Merlin's Pizza tshirt, on the house. We went by the next day to get his shirt, and the ladies there were so nice to me and appreciative of my positive feedback. I even bought myself a shirt! I am so impressed with all the employees I encountered here at Merlin's. They really try to go above and beyond. I will definitely come back when we are in Destin, and wish we had a Merlin's pizza in Austin!

We were in Destin on our honeymoon. Destin is fun but a little expensive when it comes to dining out and we were on a major budget. I saw the sign, looked up reviews and decided that it was better than that magic mushroom place. We went in, ordered and waited. The employees were friendly and offered us drinks while we waited. I saw the owner/manager around and he was very involved with everything. I like that. We got our pizza and went back to the condo. The standard pepperoni was flavorful and had lots of cheese. I'm really glad we went with this smaller place. I'll be back for more next year.

  • Andrew S.

Merlin's is certainly one of the better tasting non-chain pizzas in the area and the staff is very friendly. My complaints are the pizzas are small for their "sizes" and prices. toppings are WAY too expensive, "premium toppings" at $5 a pop is highway robbery. A medium pizza with just a few toppings can easily be just shy of $20. A large or x-large would easily be $30 and it's only a 16" x-large. Considering my favorite pizza place has an 18" x-large and with the same toppings is only around $22-$24, the pizza at Merlin's is simply overpriced. Some of the flavors are a bit unexpected, but all are good. It's always great when a pizza place offers green olives too! however, it was a bit odd that they don't remove the pimento from green olives before or after slicing them. The cheese has a good taste, and overall the pizza is one of the better pizzas in the area. As a restaurant, however, it's very small and couldn't accommodate many people at all. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it very much made me feel like I was back in high school and eating at Sharky's Pizza in Charleston. Seems like this would be the perfect hangout for high school kids, as well. All in all it's different and certainly worth a stop or an order if you're in the mood for pizza and don't want to order from a chain. And it's the best option in all of Destin or Fort Walton.

I ordered delivery 2 nights this week while working at my condo. Had the Hawaiian pizza the first night. Really good. Had sandwiches the 2nd - barbecued pulled pork and pesto chicken. These were also very good. Delivery time was less than that stated when ordering both times. Will order from them again next time I am in Destin.

We ordered a small pepperoni pie and a calzone and it was cooked to perfection. Very delicious! Will be coming back here often.

Great little local pizza place! Nothing fancy, casual atmosphere. The TV's in the booths were great for our kids. Pizza is great and very affordable. Plus, the service was excellent!

Good pizza. Choose from the traditional toppings or something fun like pulled pork and BBQ pizza. Sandwiches, wings also available. Small eating area. We tried to squeeze a party of 12 into 2 booths. Worked ok, but not ideal. If you are a party of 4-6, shouldn't have a problem, altho you may have to wait for a table/booth. There are TVs (with sound!) at each booth. Saw lots of carry-out orders getting picked up while there.

Great Pizza, the only place to go in Destin

We ordered a medium pepperoni and onion hand-tossed pizza. The restaurant told us it was about 45 minutes for delivery but I think they were there within 30 minutes. The delivery girl was friendly, pizza tasted great, and we were happy that we didn't have to wait a long time. The price was decent for a vacation city. Only $13 for a medium.

The lunch by the slice deal doesn't do them any justice in my opinion. Maybe just when I've gotten the lunch deal it seems ok, but a fresh pie from there is pretty damn good. I have to agree with a recent review saying that customer service isn't exactly the greatest, but they have really good pizzas, and always seem really busy at night. I have indeed been quoted one time, and show up a little afterwards just so I don't have to wait, only to wait because they are either extremely busy or incompetent, but with the flavor of the pizza, I'm going for busy. The Meaty pizza is my go to (with onions), and it is very filling. It might not be the best pizza I've ever had, but around here, its pretty hard to find anything better.

There is no better pizza within 25 miles in either direction. This is as close to real New York style pizza that you'll find around here. Fresh ingredients, great crust, and delicious sauce. Doesn't get any better! Delivery and on-line ordering is seamless. Can't say enough good things about these guys. Love it!!!

Great pizza and love the "breadstick" like crust!! Definitely a place I would recommend for pizza in the area!!

Went here on a whim while on vacation. Wish we would have came here earlier. The pizza was real good they even put a Dora pic on it for my daughter. Two other people with me got pasta and said it was real good also.

Best *DELIVERY* pizza in Destin. They use good ingredients and have some neat options. The Italian Salad is pretty good. I usually stick to the Meaty pizza but they have good "specialty" and "gourmet" pizzas. When it comes to delivery, I definitely prefer Merlin's. Its good, and its local. Edit: some have seemed to reference my first sentence in newer reviews. Let me clarify, there is better pizza in Destin, but it cannot be *delivered*. Merlins and Fat Mo's are the only places that are local and that deliver. Between the two (because who needs to review a Dominos or Pizza Hut), Merlins is the best. Also, if you come to Destin during a spring break week and receive your pizza within an hour, that is 5 star service. Keep things in perspective, folks.

Decent pizza but overpriced $20 for an average pepperoni pizza seemed a bit excessive.

You the coupons or the specials and the price is reasonable. They seem to use fresh ingredients and it all worked together well. I'd suggest going.

I visit Santa Rosa Beach at least twice a year & on my last trip here I was looking for a decent pizza spot for late night carry-out. I read a couple of online reviews from another website (no reviews were posted here) & decided to roll the dice Merlin's. I ordered two pizzas, a small pepperoni & a large pepperoni, mushroom, & green pepper pizza. Both were thin crust pizzas & with a nice crispy crust & fresh ingredients. I drove to pick them up & they were ready in under 15 minutes, although they also deliver. They close at 10pm & I arrived there after 9 & the pies were still freshly made. The place might not past the "Look Test" but the pizza here doesn't disappoint. TWO THUMBS UP!!

Outstanding. The gluten-free pepperoni pizza was terrific, and the dozen other people who ate "regular" pizza raved about it. The cheese bread and pepperoni cheese bread were also big hits. We ordered sausage, mushroom, cheese, pepperoni, and supreme pizzas on both types of crust, and all were delicious. The delivery was also very timely for such a large order. We took leftovers home with us on our road trip and they were just as good. Great pizza, period.

Great local place! Their portions are big and the calzones are super good. It's kind of weird that their Italian calzone has banana peppers in it but we order without them.

Very good pizza, but somewhat overrated, based on all all the praise I'm reading here. It is better than your average pizza chain, but not phenomenal in any respect.

We ate here after playing at the go kart track all day and we were very happy with the food. Tasty supreme pizza with yummy sausage. Bread sticks were good too.

Hands down the best pizza we've had in a long time. We were fortunate enough to have another person with the same name and get brought their cheese sticks by mistake, we ordered breadsticks and did not realize it was a mistake. Those cheese sticks were wonderful as were our breadsticks and double decker pepperoni pizza. So lucky to have seen them in a free magazine and read about them on Yelp!!

This place has the most delicious pizza in Destin at a reasonable price and the lady I deal with, Linda, is awesome. I always get the thin crust pepperoni explosion with the party cut, it is much easier to handle when you have to deal with the public like we do. I work in Destin and this place does not let you down.

A good, non-chain pizza. The hand-tossed crust was a little thicker than I like, but still good. We ordered a fairly standard combo pizza and was most impressed that it was not greasy.

Good food. Easy access, location in heart of Destin. We did carry out, not much dining room seating.

Nice flavors, but the cheese doesn't seem to be very high quality. I had the Popeye Spinach pizza.
