Going to start w the worst *Gross-Out Warning*. The place is an outside wooden deck, ate there after dark... there were tons of huge cockroaches running along the floor. Once I noticed them, I couldn't not notice! I kept me feet up until we were able to get the check & watched them go right under me! ! I don't know how I managed to not freak out. They were so abundant a little boy behind us was pointing them out to his mom. I ended up leaving my husband to wait it out and pay - had to get out of there! Just gross. If that isn't enough the wait staff was the worst. Were seated for an eternity with no waiter attending us, then we asked and they said they would find our waiter asap, still nothing for a while and we had to grab someone else to demand service. As if you need anything beyond infestation and bad service - the food was poor to ok, and too overpriced. Love Sandestin and like the village, but DON'T EAT HERE! 0 stars.

Was one of the only places with any activity on this mid-week outing to the Baytowne Wharf pseudo-village at the Sandestin Wharf resort development. The vibe is "dive-bar" but executed in a way that welcomes the pre-teen set all the way through the washed-up Jimmy Buffet craving 50-somethings. I ate at the bar and the barmaid was pleasant and friendly if not particularly well informed about the menu. My tuna steak sandwich was pretty good, as were the fixings on the bun, the Cajun sauce, and the (fresh) cole slaw. The live music gave everyone a reason to be there. I had a beer and was gone. Not at all disappointed.

I am from LOUSIANIA WHERE PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO COOK FOOD.... Went to hammerheads on vacation in destin last week and the chargrilled oysters absoulutly sucked!!!!! I mean for 20 bucks they should be good!!!! These were very small and nasty ..... I won't be back and save ur money people!!!!

Oh look what a view. How neat they have dollar bills stuck to the wall. Oh I just realized this place sucks. And what is that smell. Did forgot to put on deodorant? I hope no one notices. Oh never mind it is this place that smells not me. DO NOT EAT HERE! On the plus side the food was not that bad.

Stay away!!!! There were so many problems its difficult to list them all. If you go there you are walking into a tourist trap full of incompetent staff and high prices. They could not be any worse at providing a proper unique dining experience. If you go plan to feel taken advantage of and bring a big wallet. I contacted the GM after our dinner and 48 hours later I have had no response. If you like feeling screwed by all means go there otherwise stay away!!!!

It's bar food so that being said, it was not at all bad. The back porch and live music was great, oysters were fresh and grouper sandwich was good. If your looking for a five star dinner, keep looking. If your looking for a casual place to grab some food, have a drink and listen to live music it was great. Was a little pricey but that should be expected at "the wharf".

There is confusion about where this place is located. We ate at the Hammerheads at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. The resort was great but our experience with this restaurant was terrible. The food was dry, the food was late. I had to go to the kitchen after waiting for lunch for over 30 minutes. We ordered an appetizer that came out only after complaining and making a stink. Then the food showed up a few minutes later. What a disorganized operation. The aggravation while on vacation is not worth it. The food was poor, and expensive. The waitress was at the mercy of the kitchen so she had no ability to remedy the situation. We paid our bill and got out of there quick. Maybe it was a bad day, who knows. But on my vacation I don't need it. Never again. The potential for this location is awesome as it right on the water but be forewarned.

Fun atmosphere but the food is average and the drinks are "meh". We had Bloody Mary's one morning waiting for our friends to pick us up and we had to go back and ask for some tabasco. and lime/lemon slices. I think they just put some vodka in some tomato juice and served it. Most bland Bloody Mary ever. Place gets hoppin' at night, with a live band. We like to sit on the porch of the condo and listen from there and avoid the crowds.

Overpriced food and liquor. Entertainment, the Sand Spurs, sucked the night we were there. paying these high prices for the view and the location.

Skip this tourist trap.

Food was average and service was terrible. We got this guy named Kenny that rushed us the entire time! So frustrating...live music is the only thing going for this place.

Advertised a happy hour that server did not even know about. Paid $12 for a tuna salad that was probably from a can. Oysters were either old or frozen. Hope dinner is better than happy hour

We had a great server! Young guy named Michael! He catered to our every need, and the place was packed! The mojitos were great and the chargrilled oysters are the best thing on the menu! Our calamari had perfect spice and crispness. Our friends got the fish tacos and loved them. The tuna dip is amazing too. I think you have to know what to get here, because we enjoyed it.

An expensive tourist trap of a restaurant that reminds me of Landry's. Nothing special food or menu. The best thing about the place was the hand dryers (Dyson blades) and the sugar scrub in the restrooms...I know...kind of odd...huh.
(2)
Mike C.
Over priced food and they didn't put alcohol in their over priced drinks, $9 for a Kool-Aid in a plastic cup. It wouldn't have been so bad if the food was good but it wasn't the worst jambalaya I have ever tasted and I have tasted jambalaya at many different restaurants around the US. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The service was the WORST I have EVER seen!!! We sat at the table over 20 minutes before a server EVER came over. We finally ordered & then waited over 35 minutes for them to totally forget one of the 4 kids meals. Totally unexceptable!!! It was my 1st & LAST visit EVER to the horrible restaurant!!!

Fun, touristy place in Sandestin! Like a good yelper, I'll start with what was lacking but will follow it up with the pros. Our waiter was completely aloof and at some times rude. Customer service here is definitely lacking because they know they are a tourist attraction and it doesn't matter how they treat guests. That's the feeling we got. As far as food, three of us split one of the seafood buckets which looked amazing but wasn't all it was cracked up to be (no pun intended). Most of the oysters and clams were still closed--not good!!! Shellfish are not supposed to be closed, this means they are not fresh! The shrimp were huge but seriously over-cooked and rubbery, making them unedible. So now for the good: awesome margarita that packed a serious punch! The lobsters that came as part of the seafood bucket were huge and delectable. The crab legs were great as well. Two people at our table had the grouper sandwich and said they enjoyed it. The atmosphere is sickeningly awesome if that makes sense, come prepared for noise and a crowd of all ages! All seating is outdoors and the place sits right over the bay as part of the Sandestin Baytowne Wharf. There is a live band at night, think Jimmy Buffett and Lynyrd Skynyrd songs the whole night through. Sunburned children and adults alike will be dancing the night away on the boardwalk area which makes for great entertainment as you eat your meal. So do I recommend this place? Well, yes! It's one of those "you have to go" places if you're in the Destin/Sandestin area. Don't miss out on the cheesy, touristy fun! Just let your hair down, have a strong drink and some crablegs and dance the night away with the rest of 'em!

Food was not fresh at all. Oysters from New Orleans on the coast is never a good sign.

This has a great atmosphere. Wether you are on a family vacation or Spring break this place is an excellent spot to visit. It is a bit pricey compared to other seafood places in Destin, but the atmosphere is worth it. The servers are very friendly and the service is quick. I ordered the crab legs and shrimp and it was delicious!

Hammerheads is now a part of Poppy's which was never very good. HH is a churn em and burn em kind of place now. Food is very ho hum - service rushed and inconsiderate - only redeeming value is the view of the Bay.

Jerk Chicken was delicious! Fish tacos were also. Live music was wonderful. Server was attentive. Definitely worth the dining experience.

I agree the food was bit overpriced! The happy hour time was very limited from 3-5pm. Other places tend to have it from 3-7pm! The drinks were bit watered down. Shaun Watson, the chef on 10-16-2014 around 5-6pm did a great job cooking our foods. I had the best cajun chicken sandwich ever! My friends also enjoyed their foods too. Heather was our server that evening as she did a great job! Thank you for the good experiences that evening!

Overall the food was ok. The drink were poorly made and way over priced. The atmosphere is nice though. If you are not concerned about quality food and drink and only like a good atmosphere then this is place for you. The was service good though. There were a lot of children too.

Tourist trap. Overpriced. Jambalaya is disgusting. No flavor. Chargrilled oysters tasted good, but they were tiny. The calamari was tasty, but fried too hard. My fork couldn't go all the way through a piece of it. Great service though. Our server was very attentive. Music was country. We are on the beach. Would have liked to hear another genre.

This restaurant is nothing but a tourist trap. First off, the restaurant is VERY warm because the air conditioning is escaping through the opened doors, which also allows for the largest insects in Florida to come join (and attack) you during your meal. All of the large drinks we ordered tasted like extra sugary juice, placed in a souvenir cup. The wine you order will not come in a wine glass, but a clear PLASTIC cup. We ordered the smoked tuna dip, which tastes like it was plopped on to the plate directly from the can. To top that off, the large bone that came with it almost cracked my tooth. If you come with a large group, be prepared for only one check given to the table, because they can't split your tab. The food was DECENT but very pricey for what it is. Avoid this place.

The oysters were foul smelling - like sewage. They did offer to comp us or send another dozen - which were better. Food was mediocre! Not worth the BOGO deal!! Really more a star and a half

With all the previous bad reviews, we would not have gone, except for the Groupon we had already purchased. It was a pleasant surprise, as the food was decent. It was fresh and good tasting. We shared a gulf shrimp platter and some onion straws. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, as was the area of shops, hotels, restaurants and pubs. Service was very good, but in full disclosure, we were the only patrons until just before we left. These two guys bought a yellow fin tuna dip. They were raving about it as they were devouring it. GPS directions were a little sketchy. You can't drive where guidance says to go. Just park in the garage and take a pleasant walk to eat.

My wife and I went here for lunch, expecting a mad at the world teenager to treat us like crap, and badly prepared food, like one would expect from any tourist dive. This was not the case. The waiter was friendly and attentive. He recommended something from each part of the menu, and knew the entire (limited) beer menu and what each one was like. We started off with the coconut shrimp which was a bit over cooked, however I am extremely picky when it comes to my coconut shrimp and all in all it was presented nicely and pretty tasty. My wife had the shrimp poboy. It was fantastic. Their key lime tartar sauce went so well with the shrimp and cabbage. I went with the grouper which was hand breaded and fried just on the other side of perfection. It was a huge piece of fish, easily twice the size of the bun, again accompanied by the tartar sauce. The fries were great and crunchy, the view was nice. I did ask them to turn down the Florida heat but they were unable to.

If it wouldn't have been for our waiter I would have given this a 4 but he was in an extremely bad mood and was rarely at our table. The food was great, we had the steamer bucket for one but it could totally feed 2. We also had raw oysters, the fried grouper sandwich and a cheeseburger and it was all very good. For being at a seafood restaurant the cheese burger was very very good! The atmosphere is very bar and grill, if you want something more upscale go robots sister restaurant right next door "Poppys Seafood" that's also where the restrooms are lol.

Bleh!!! Save your money. The food worse than Captain D's. There is nothing special about it. Plus, the food costs more as if you were were at an amusement park or at the movies. I feel like I've been jipped. The only redeeming factors are a nice view and the band. As a food lover, I would not recommend it. Save your hard-earned money for something special.

Uggh.... 5 dollar beers for bad food, a fat waitress with a bad attitude and worse body odor, that I swear took a bite out of my Po' Boy and a God awfull band. Avoid this dump like the plague. Plenty of better places @ the Wharf to eat, drink, and listen to live music.

$19 Hurricane? Ridiculous. Fried food was passable if it was half the price. Decent if you're drunk or are a regular Red Lobster customer... Otherwise stick to ACME for decent food on Baytowne Warf...

Stopped in here for a snack as we weren't starving for dinner. Wife had the oysters which were ok size and we split the calamari. Not great, not terrible. Service was solid and being somewhat outdoors and having a view of the bay may it better.

I don't recommend the onion rings because I couldn't even taste them, but I do admit the jerky chicken sandwich was a good size and good flavor. Everything else is small and overpriced. I was going to leave 3 stars until I'm pretty sure I got bit by a spider while eating dinner.

Second time visiting with a year between. Had a group of ten. Four items were taken off our bill due to sending back. Oysters were rancid and gritty. Foreign objects in the other two entrees

Ugh. Such an awful experience. It took 10 minutes before we saw a waiter or got water and when he showed up he was pretty much clueless. We ordered appetizers since we had plenty of time to view the menu while waiting and when the fried pickles finally arrived, there was no ranch - as advertised. When the waiter brought us ranch, about 5 minutes later, One of the two pre-packaged, plastic containers were already opened. We picked up our party of 7 and paid for the subpar appetizers and left. Worst dining experience in Baytowne Wharf.

It has a nice view and the steak was hard to complain about. Probably wouldn't send a friend here, and would tell them to skip the signature drinks if they did make it out. It's pricey and gimmicky. If that's what your're after, this is your place. If not, head across the street to ACME.

We were seated immediately. It took forever for a waiter. The service was VERY slow all night. After we finally ordered it took over an hour to get our food. The food was OK, though overpriced. The live band was terrible. We spoke to the manager about the long wait time for our food to come out, he didn't care. We weren't the only ones complaining about the long wait for food.

Let me begin to say that although the Wharf area is very convenient if your staying in the Sandestin area most of the restaurants are not very good. We ate at Hammerheads last night and it was all bad. From the food to the service. We ordered an appetizer of fried pickles and it stated that it came with a remoulade. When the order came it was without sauce, when I asked for it he brings over two containers of ranch dressing. If I knew it came with just ranch then I would have not ordered it. My wife had the fish and shrimp and you could tell that it was frozen and nowhere fresh. My daughter had the kids fried shrimp and it was also blah. I had the jerk chicken and it was the best of the three, but only mediocre. Our server was so bad it was comical. Having to ask for lemon for my tea four times, come on!!! Over all it was a bad experience. Eat at the pizza place and save your money.

Ugh, what a letdown. You know what? I struggled with two stars vs. one. But since this place sold itself as such a great restaurant, that compounds the disappointment down to one star. Now it wasn't so terrible that I'd say never go there, but I would say don't go there expecting anything great (or even that good, based on my experience). I did have no complaints on service, except to note that my waiter needed a little better grasp of English. Sandestin management really needs to screen a little more carefully for those positions. "A beautiful dockside setting to watch the sun set over the bay" reads the description. Well, it is in Sandestin's bayside village center, so that's a nice place. But Hammerheads is really just a huge covered patio with an uncovered area for tables & umbrellas. Nothing beautiful about it, nor even fancy. More like patio sets and picnic tables. Meh. Food also was meh. The wife got a tropical summer salad, and added jerk chicken breast. She said that the fruit pieces in the salad were really the only good part. Sadly, the jerk chicken seemed like slices that came out of a precooked deli pouch - with the jerk flavor simply being a little sweetness and some light spices. My "calypso mahi mahi with sauteed shrimp & jumbo lump crab" was described on the menu as "Grilled on an open flame and topped with sauteed shrimp & jumbo lump crab in our Caribbean meuniere [sauce] & served with garlic roasted potatoes & corn on the cob." Yum! And in reality it wasn't too bad. But it didn't quite live up to the description. The mahi mahi and shrimp were average. However, the crab with the meuniere sauce was pretty tasty. So there's that.

I had a terrible first time visit experience to this restaurant. It wasn't over booked or crowded which is unacceptable. I was seated immediately however sat around for 10-15 mins and wasn't greeted or met by my server. There were a bunch of servers standing around watching the band while customers appeared to have to waive then attention. The only thing great about this place was the live band. Other than that, I don't plan on returning solo or with my family. The restaurants next to them offer better and friendlier service which is where I ended up going.

Food was below norm. Blacken grouper, the fish was good but the roll, etc was poor. Service was very slow overall. Wouldnt recommend unless you came dor the atmosphere..

This place is overpriced. The food is bland, the service fine. We started with the queso that supposedly came with shrimp. No shrimp to be found. My husband and I then split a lackluster piece of fish. This restaurant is a cheesy tourist trap. My money would have been better spent on fast food. DON'T EAT HERE.

This place has absolutely terrible service. We came here in the middle of the afternoon when it was nearly dead. The hostess told us to sit wherever we wanted and then brought us a couple menus after a few minutes. She gave us the menus and, without another word, walked away. We patiently waited for our server who never came. Five minutes or so after we got our menus, another table was seated by us, got their menus, and we're asked what they wanted to drink. We weren't ever asked what we would like to eat or drink. The service was so abysmal that we up and left. Don't waste your time here. Go somewhere where they actually want patronage. If the service is any indication of the food quality, you'll be hurling in a trash an within minutes of finishing your meal. There are plenty of other options in Baytowne Wharf. Go elsewhere.

I was heartbroken when I saw that Acme Oyster House closed at 5 for a private party. Every time I'm in Destin I go to Acme for the chargrilled oysters. After crying I started searching for another source. Someone at a different restaurant pointed out Hammerhead's. Rather than pout I decided to give it a shot. I ordered 18 ($32). They came out and I was still pouting. ..they looked different than Acme. Once I tried them, however, I began to smile and lick the shells. They are different than Acme's...in the positive they have more of a smokey flavor. In the negative they are not as buttery and cheesy...easily fixed I would think.I give a slight edge to Acme but next time will request extra cheese and butter and think Hammerhead's may have the oyster edge. Atmosphere is better at Acme since you sit at an oyster bar but I will defiantly have the chargrilled oysters at Hammerhead's again.

The food was pretty good. We had the shrimp tacos and they were good. We arrived around 5pm with a group of 12 and were able to get seated quickly. It then started to get busy. The view is great with great outdoor seating. The Baytown Warf is really cool...especially on Tuesday nights when they have fireworks.
(3)
Hector O.
Minimal options at the Warfe. Best thing about Hammerheads was the view and quick seating for 14. Food was okay for lunch, but you'll be disappointed if you're expecting fresh good seafood. Get something fried and a beer.

Went over to the Baytown Wharf to check it all out. Ate at Hammerheads Bar & Grille. Live Reggae music, fresh seafood and a great sunset. Jerk chicken with fried plantains just like in Jamaica. Grilled oysters appetizer was super as well. Ordered 2 Captain & Cokes. Bartender tried to slip us Baccardi. don't try that we are pros!

Meh.... Went with a large party so we ate inside (thankfully, check other reviews about the state of the deck). I called ahead to see if they had TVs to watch football, they did but they were small & outdated & had minimal channels on which to watch games. The guys in the party were pretty miffed about the lack of coverage. The food was good, bit nothing to write home about. I had nachos & the special of the day- fish tacos. The server suggested the special as opposed to the fish tacos that were on the menu. I stuck to bottled beer since the bar tender for the whole restaurant as well as our server, overextended is a major understatement. When the bill came 18% gratuity was added, ok since we had a large group & the beers we're $5 a piece, again ok, but $18 for some fish tacos?! The menu listed them at $12 but because the server pushed the special my bill went up by $6! Not ok! Doubtful I'll be back

Mediocre food. Although the grouper tacos at our table were said to be really good, they also seemed overpriced to me. Live music was so loud it was hard to talk. Trees blocking view of water, which seems odd for an Oceanside patio. You can do better.

We had so much fun the other night at this place. We went in to sit at the bar and just get some drinks and a snack but saw the pretty harbor view and asked a passing hostess if those spots were available. She quickly got us some menus and allowed us to sit where we wanted even thought the place was packed. Our server seemed like she was having a rough night and we tried to be an easy going couple for her. We got two dozen raw oysters but they didn't come with silverware or hot sauce but we just asked someone working and they brought it over. The live band was grooving but it was a little loud. But hey no big deal, you can just sit inside if it bothers you. Prices were pretty steep so we used our groupon which helped. Overall we really enjoyed our waitress and had a lovely time there.

Todd F.
Great location and atmosphere outside, but a bit grimy and somewhat repulsive inside. Service rather slow despite lots of young servers hanging around. Food is of the fried seafood type, menu is overpriced, even for the baytown wharf area, 25$ shrimp and catfish platter has mb 6 medium shrimp and 3 pieces of catfish on bed of ff. Drinks are small and in cheap plastic cups. The signature dish, grouper tacos 18$ are heavily over sauced, hard to tell if there is fish in them at all. 18 is 6 dollars over priced, again, even for the area. If it weren't for the view and music I'd be at one star.

My wife and I were having a nice time, enjoying our oysters, grouper tacos and cold Abita beer and listening to the band. The place started filling up, and we noticed that the server (who was quite nice) was bringing our food awfully fast (entrees on top of our raw oyster appetizer). No sooner had we finished the last bites of our meals, the server brought our checks. We felt very rushed. Here we were, enjoying music, cold beer and a beautiful night on the coast, but the server was rushing us out the door. My wife, traveling for work, paid her tab, but I left mine open and asked for 2 more beers. The server brought them and told us that a "VIP" (a newscaster from the local CBS affiliate) had reserved our table. She said the manager offered to cover the last 2 beers if we'd move. I said that it was fine, but we'd just leave. The server brought the final check, but charged me for the last 2 beers! Seriously!? I asked to speak to the manager, but the server said she'd get the manager to take them off. The 2 beers were removed, and we left. They certainly didn't make us feel like VIPs. The food was okay...too salty and smothered in sauce that completely overwhelmed the flavor of the grouper in the blackened grouper tacos. The place is also expensive for what you get (you pay for the location). If you go, don't get comfy. The owner will give your table away to some local VIP, not caring at all that you are spending money with him too. Nice going, Poppy.

Awesome service! LOOOOVE this place! My girlfriend and I visited late at night and they were closed, but the next day we came and the manager remembered us, and gave us shots on the house! AWESOME!! Great food, amazing atmosphere, large portions, strong drinks!!! What more could you ask for??!!

I'd give this place NO STARS if that was possible. Where do I start? I was so excited to eat after all that walking in the Village (Baytown Wharf?) and when I saw the late night menu , I was like "mmmm cheeseburger sounds so good right now." BUT NO. When we sat down, our waiter (old man BILL) took so long to get our drink orders, and took even longer to give us the drinks, and after he put down the drinks, he didn't even ask us what to get but told us to "hold on just a minute." It was like 10 minutes of waiting before we actually gave him our order, which is pretty darn simple and fast to do because we already knew what we wanted. In my opinion, he should've taken our order first before he doing whatever he had to do. My boyfriend asked what the Mahi Mahi sandwich was like, and the guy was like, "It's kind of mild. . . " like. . . WTF. That doesn't really say much about the sandwich. After we ordered, I was a little impatient and started observing a few things. I was wondering why our server was so slow, and I first hypothesized that he was the only waiter. . . which he wasn't. He had two other tables, and one of them asked when their entree was going to come out, and he said "in a few minutes" which it did, but they shouldn't have needed to ask in the first place. The other table was a group of about five girls who had to talk to the manager about how horrible the waiter was, and I don't think they left him a tip but a angry note instead since they dashed off so quickly. We ordered two dozen of oysters, one raw and one grilled with garlic butter sauce. We also ordered some entrees. Our food wasn't coming out after thirty minutes, so we asked the guy when were the oysters coming out. "In a few minutes," and yes the oysters did come out but they were so small and not all that great. We asked him when our entrees were coming out and he said "in a few minutes." We just cancelled the entrees after eating the oysters. We were there for like an hour; it was a waste of time. The only thing great about this restaurant was the live band playing and the atmosphere. I'm pretty surprised this place has been succeeding. . . probably because of its great location. I would not recommend this place unless all you want are some drinks and some good music. Don't even bother ordering any food.

SanDestin is AWESOME... but this restaurant is not. Very cool atmosphere, wonderful view of the bay, great docking pier and friendly staff. But the food (at least the food I ordered) was not very good. I ordered a burger (medium well) and fries. I also ordered calamari since I found a coupon in a local magazine for buy one item and get the second free. The burger was Ginormous, but unfortunately cooked medium. I wanted to be a trooper and not complain, so I tried eating it anyway, but it had no flavor and the fries tasted like frozen Ore-Ida brand. The Calamari was flavorless and soaked in some sort of oily concoction that I assume was supposed to give it flavor. To top that all off, the calamari was very chewy... not good @ all. I threw away my burger after just two bites and the fries & calamari and drove to a different restaurant. I know Poppy's Hammerhead is a popular restaurant, but it just goes to show being popular doesn't mean you are good.

Down home casual spot that happens to have a nice view at sunset. The food is equivalent to the quality at Joe's Crab Shack with prices that rival a 4 star restaurant. If my mediocre dirty martini is going to cost $10 can I at least have it in a glass instead a plastic cup?

(1)Josh W.
(2)Daryl F.
(1)Thomas T.
(3)Paul D.
(1)Lisa M.
(2)Jay D.
Overpriced food and liquor. Entertainment, the Sand Spurs, sucked the night we were there. paying these high prices for the view and the location.
(1)Jackie R.
Skip this tourist trap.
(1)Benjamen B.
Food was average and service was terrible. We got this guy named Kenny that rushed us the entire time! So frustrating...live music is the only thing going for this place.
(2)Blaze D.
Advertised a happy hour that server did not even know about. Paid $12 for a tuna salad that was probably from a can. Oysters were either old or frozen. Hope dinner is better than happy hour
(2)Meg C.
(4)Rob F.
An expensive tourist trap of a restaurant that reminds me of Landry's. Nothing special food or menu. The best thing about the place was the hand dryers (Dyson blades) and the sugar scrub in the restrooms...I know...kind of odd...huh.
(2)Mike C.
(1)Kari P.
(1)Erin W.
(3)Krista W.
Food was not fresh at all. Oysters from New Orleans on the coast is never a good sign.
(1)Katie K.
(4)James B.
Hammerheads is now a part of Poppy's which was never very good. HH is a churn em and burn em kind of place now. Food is very ho hum - service rushed and inconsiderate - only redeeming value is the view of the Bay.
(1)Cimmie S.
Jerk Chicken was delicious! Fish tacos were also. Live music was wonderful. Server was attentive. Definitely worth the dining experience.
(4)Michael C.
(4)Rebekah D.
Overall the food was ok. The drink were poorly made and way over priced. The atmosphere is nice though. If you are not concerned about quality food and drink and only like a good atmosphere then this is place for you. The was service good though. There were a lot of children too.
(3)Michelle B.
(2)Krista T.
(1)M R.
The oysters were foul smelling - like sewage. They did offer to comp us or send another dozen - which were better. Food was mediocre! Not worth the BOGO deal!! Really more a star and a half
(2)Gregory V.
(4)Shawn P.
(4)Natalie C.
(3)Moses K.
(2)Ed R.
Uggh.... 5 dollar beers for bad food, a fat waitress with a bad attitude and worse body odor, that I swear took a bite out of my Po' Boy and a God awfull band. Avoid this dump like the plague. Plenty of better places @ the Wharf to eat, drink, and listen to live music.
(1)Drecords613 ..
$19 Hurricane? Ridiculous. Fried food was passable if it was half the price. Decent if you're drunk or are a regular Red Lobster customer... Otherwise stick to ACME for decent food on Baytowne Warf...
(2)Frank T.
Stopped in here for a snack as we weren't starving for dinner. Wife had the oysters which were ok size and we split the calamari. Not great, not terrible. Service was solid and being somewhat outdoors and having a view of the bay may it better.
(3)Louis H.
Perfect. Lunch. Fun waiter, great blackened grouper taco. Also delicious fried catfish.
(5)Sara B.
I don't recommend the onion rings because I couldn't even taste them, but I do admit the jerky chicken sandwich was a good size and good flavor. Everything else is small and overpriced. I was going to leave 3 stars until I'm pretty sure I got bit by a spider while eating dinner.
(2)Marc C.
Second time visiting with a year between. Had a group of ten. Four items were taken off our bill due to sending back. Oysters were rancid and gritty. Foreign objects in the other two entrees
(1)Lauren S.
(1)Colin S.
It has a nice view and the steak was hard to complain about. Probably wouldn't send a friend here, and would tell them to skip the signature drinks if they did make it out. It's pricey and gimmicky. If that's what your're after, this is your place. If not, head across the street to ACME.
(3)D. M.
(1)Steven R.

(1)Mike K.
Food was below norm. Blacken grouper, the fish was good but the roll, etc was poor. Service was very slow overall. Wouldnt recommend unless you came dor the atmosphere..
(1)Vanassa J.
(1)Zach F.
(1)Stewart W.
(5)Jeff M.
(3)Hector O.
Minimal options at the Warfe. Best thing about Hammerheads was the view and quick seating for 14. Food was okay for lunch, but you'll be disappointed if you're expecting fresh good seafood. Get something fried and a beer.
(2)Darryl W.
(4)Bridget S.
Not ok! Doubtful I'll be back
(2)Brianna K.
over priced for ridiculously small portions. food was cold and flavorless. strongly suggest NOT going to this place. much better restaurants neighboring it.
(1)Dan Z.
Food was good; music was good; service was very good; a bit overpriced; ketchup was in foil wrapers.
(4)Alliekate S.
Mediocre food. Although the grouper tacos at our table were said to be really good, they also seemed overpriced to me. Live music was so loud it was hard to talk. Trees blocking view of water, which seems odd for an Oceanside patio. You can do better.
(2)Bre P.
Had a great experience here when me and my boyfriend went to dinner! Tried Crab for the first time and it was delicious! Looking forward to going back!!
(5)Elexa B.
(4)Todd F.
(2)Joseph B.
(2)Katrina R.
(5)Jenny N.
(1)Kimberley K.
We loved our food and especially Ashley H, our server-. She was exceptional and so helpful and fun! We'll be back for sure... Thanks for a wonderful service and great seafood!
(4)Nancy C.
Shut down over the weekend for live and dead cockroach activity in and around the food area. Gross!
(1)Richard R.
(1)Chrishelle C.
Down home casual spot that happens to have a nice view at sunset. The food is equivalent to the quality at Joe's Crab Shack with prices that rival a 4 star restaurant. If my mediocre dirty martini is going to cost $10 can I at least have it in a glass instead a plastic cup?
