Good food when we were looking for it. The service was the best part! Not a date night spot but when your hungry and not wanting to drain your wallet. .. Go here.

First time visiting tonight and was blown away by the delicious food and friendly staff. I will be back for more. My steak was amazing and cooked to perfection at medium rare. The scallops and shrimp were super yummy! And they even bought us dessert.

Rounding out my trilogy of Italian places in the Northwest Florida area is Carrabbas. Even though it is a chain, it is a very good chain and easily edges out The Olive Garden and even what used to be the gold standard of Italian food in the area - Tradewinds. When we got there, it was very busy, but no need to worry about going hungry, the manager brought out 2 plates of Zucchini Fries for the people in the waiting area. We got seated in about 25 minutes and the service was top drawer. Water and drinks stayed full and the food came out quick and hot. I can't firewall 5 the restaurant because it was decent but not blow your socks off awesome like my review of Clemenza's. If you find yourself in Destin and want some solid Italian Food, this place is perfect.

This was my first experience at Carrabba's. They have national marketing campaigns but so we see the ads but do not have one in southwest Missouri. The food was excellent. I was anticipating a chain restaurant like Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. This place had fresh ingredients, great drinks, and the staff offered great customer service. The ambiance would have been great for a date.

Not impressed. We live nearby, and this is our second trip to this Carrabba's in 2 years. It's a rainy Spring Saturday at mid afternoon. Service- bad. Manners- bad. Order- wrong. Food was ok. Not usually this picky, but I expected more from a casual mid-priced chain. :(

We do carry out about 2x a week for several months, so convenient and fast too! They actually do come out to the car, contrary to how Outback and some others say they do. Food is super, except veal sometimes is not so tender. Marsala sauce teremendous, minestrone soup, Caesar's salad. Kids love the cheese pizza (not their macaroni and cheese which is far too dry). Favorite is Filet Marsala. Always had friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I was very disappointed when I came to this restaurant on vacation even thought the service was good it was very un clean in many areas. My entire family had food in their menus and when we got our glasses a few of them had food caked to the sides. I was very shocked because I have been here many times and this has never been an issue. I hope this does not become a reoccurring thing. Very bad experience all together. Hope this can be changed with a change of management.

I visited here on a Sunday night before closing. It wasn't packed by any means. Tons of parking, was seated immediately. Our waiter was professional and friendly. We had the appetizer which had the calamari, mozzarella sticks, and bruschetta. It was tasty as were our salads. The lasagna was done well as was the other entree we ordered. The martini from the bar was fair. The restaurant was clean. I would return here on my next visit.

Came here for dinner recently. The parking is pretty good. There was no wait. The inside decor is decent. The prices are very good relatively speaking. I had the vodka scallops / shrimp linguini - it was tasty. They also brought us fresh bread with dipping oil - and a second basket. Drinks were re-filled. Service was decent. The only unique thing about this restaurant is that there is a huge mirror in between to televisions in the bar area. What's unusual is that there will be a reflection of the people sitting at the bar in front of the mirror for the whole restaurant to notice. It's quite surrealistic and amazing. Bumping the rating.

Ordered Car side pick up. The web site is excellent and very easy to use. After I placed the order my phone rang and they were calling to confirm the order and time. Apparently the web site has some issues with the time zones and they wanted to make sure we were on the same page. Now for the food. We both ordered the Sirloin Steak Marsala, garlic mash, house salad for my wife and I had the soup. You better like garlic! The mashed potatoes will knock you out, and the Marsala sauce is strong also, or maybe it was just the potatoes. It over powered the dinner. Heck I think my water had Garlic. The steak was undercooked and full of grizzle. If I was in the restaurant it would have been sent back. Guess this was just not a good night. If you want to know more, look for me on the beach, you will smell the garlic as I approach.

Food was good but service was absolutely horrible. Perhaps it was on a Sunday night so the staff was just uninterested, overall not happy with this place at all. Young, inexperienced staff that took forever to take our order, spent long time chatting up other tables to pay attention to the rest of their customers.

Holy cow...I never thought that I'd ever say that an Italian food chain was delicious but thank the good gods for Carrabba's. The calamari wasn't very good, but the pasta dishes and even the salad (YES, THE SALAD) was good! Good to the point that even though I'm in the food mecca of New Orleans, I don't think I'd ever pass up a chance to eat at Carrabba's.

We have eaten at many Carrabba's, and most have done a fine job. In this case we were very disappointed. First, we were told that there would be a 10 or 15 minute wait for bread due to some issue in the kitchen. Second, the salads were very skimpy with no croutons and very little dressing. When the entrees arrived the pasta was cold. Then the bread arrived with the entrees ( we could have saved it for dessert). We did talk to the manager, Brian, who exhibited little concern for our complaints, although he did bring some hot pasta. Entrees were good as usual, but the attitude here is decidedly "so what!" If not for the fact that Destin lacks many decent places to eat we would pass on returning here.

When I'm on vacation the last thing I expect to do is eat at a chain restaurant that I can eat at in TX, and I rarely eat at chains. But shit closes up early 'round these parts, and we were hungry, so we ended up here. Our waitress was simply awesome. Very sweet and she took some time to chat with us about the area. She brought out the warm bread that came out with some spices that you can add olive oil to. It was so good. I could have made a meal of that alone. I ordered the lasagna with a caesar salad. I have to say that it was all mighty tasty. Good to know if I'm ever in a pinch and this restaurant is an option.

I've enjoyed each of my 3 visits to this establishment. Being a chain it is all the more impressive. Two things that make me give a thumbs up to this place: 1) Amore Monday specials and 2) their sangria. The Amore Monday special is just what the doctor ordered in these tighter financial times, and we happened to hit it as Happy Hour was going on as well. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient, the food tasty and hot. The Limoncello breadpudding I had was a bit burnt on the bottom but was otherwise pretty good. I am, however, a bit disappointed that a dessert they show on their commercial is only a figment of everyone's imagination (they don't offer any such animal).

Service is good at this location. I from out of town and looking for a nice meal. Ordered a steak cooked medium rare and pasta. The pasta was good and the steak came out well done and dry. The manager cooked me a fresh one and it was perfect the second time around. Not sure if its normal for this location but ticket times for food seemed a twice as long as normal. I've never been to a Carrabba's chain, but after visiting this one, I will be sure to go to other ones when I can. Our waiter was very kind and he was helpful in making a good selection of food. They were so jealous, they went there to dinner that evening and had the exact same experience as us.

Mom and I are eating now. Chicken masala is fearful. Stanza probably couldn't do it better myself. We ordered Togo. I was helped by two lovely ladies who were thoughtful enough to bust out the ole allergy card. They walked me through the order since I was a noob. I waited at the bar with a glass of wine and chatted with a friendly tender who I turned on to the ole yelper. She was stoked and I was stoke having someone to shoot the breeze with while I waited. The only disappointing factor was the bread. A bit doughy. It was over kneaded. The soup was good, the entrees bomb. Best chain I've been to.

The food was fantastic! I had the seafood cannelloni and when I first saw it I thought it was a small portion but I ended up eating only half! It was soo yummy it had shrimp, crab, and scallops! The lemonchello is also a must ! But you must order 20 minutes before hand since they make the whole thing from scratch. The service was great! Food came fast and our waitress was on point . Also loved the location since it's right next to the outlets.

So it is a chain. This place is what a dining experience is all about. Fantastic service. The food is always great. And if you ever even have the perception of a problem ask for Paul who runs the place. This guy understands what customer service and a dining experience should be. It is always a pleasure to eat at this establishment. All other Carrabba's should aspire to be as good.

Love their Italian Chicken Pizza Grilled chicken breast in an Italian-style sweet and sour sauce with pine nuts, scallions, romano, fontina. Another favorite of mine is the Linguine Pescatore Shrimp, scallops and mussels tossed with linguine in a spicy marinara sauce. To die for ! My favorite Italian Restaurant in the area.

Absolutely fantastic! I actually had to stop eating before I was full because my taste buds were over stimulated. So very delicious. Worth every penny. The service was fantastic as well. I never had to search for my waitress. She was right on top of everything. As soon as we were done with one course, the next one came right out. It was a wonderful time.

This is our second time to Carrabba's during our week here in Florida (other visit was in Panama City Beach). What I like about Carrabba's is that the service is good, the food comes out real hot and the salads are cold on cold plates. My wife had her favorite - splendito de mare and I tried a new pasta dish that was on the specials. Everything was tasty and we came out stuffed. My only sort of complaint is that everything comes out so fast that you hardly have a chance to sit and enjoy. I know they have to turn the tables over, but I like to enjoy my meal a little...

Everything was awesome. We ate at the pizza and pasta bar and got free samples of chicken Marsala it was delicious. The service was excellent. The manager overheard my daughter say she wish she had extra sauce and before you knew it he had some served to her. We all rate this one a 5.

We ate here for our first meal on spring break. There was a 15 - 20 minute wait, we waited 10 minutes. Our server was very prompt and attentive. The food was as good as it gets for a Carrabba's restaurant. We had mussels, salads, soups, and pizza. All arrived quickly and were very nicely done. We'll be back...

Carrabba's and macaroni grill are the only two chain restaurants that I eat at. We just moved down to FL so we were celebrating. It just happened to be wine Wednesday so all bottles of wine were $10 off. I got my favorite reisling from germany. For dinner I had seafood canolli that had lobster, crab and shrimp in them. And the lobster chunks were huge. It was done in a wine cream sauce that i want to sip from the bowl. My hubby had the chicken marsala and loved it. (he has tried the steak and porkchops too and his favorite is the porkchops) for dessert which we didn't have room for but made anyways was a chocolate version of tiramisu with brownies instead of lady fingers. My hubby loved it since he is the chocolate dessert nut. I like coffee so I prefer the orignial. Our waitress "?????" was a bundle of joy from GA and was right on spot with everything. We will be going back and asking for her. Until next time... Edit Remove

Carrabba's is not bad at all. Everything was delicious, from the bread at the beginning to the Scotty Thompson Bruschette w/goat cheese appetizer (secret item not on the menu) to the filet and the grilled pepper and squash. The waiter did bring me a bottle of chianti that smelled and tasted like a urinal cake, but remedied it with a much better one very quickly. It's a chain, and I'd put it somewhere between Olive Garden (at the lower end) and Macaroni Grill (a personal favorite of mine), but it's really good.

There are several reasons the Destin Carrabba's gets 5 stars. First of all, the food is outstanding. It is not the best Italian in Destin, but it is still very, very good. I enjoyed Carrabba's while living in Alabama, but this one is different. The food is the same but this place offers service that sets it apart from the others. We had them cater for our wedding party and it was delicious. The food was made fresh, on site, and continually replenished. I highly recommend checking them out for catering. Back to the restaurant itself. Paul, the proprietor, is a really good guy, businessman, and manager. This particular Carrabba's is used by the company to groom future managers. They are sent here to learn from Paul, and one can easily see why. The servers are all outstanding. We have a new favorite: Nancy. But they are all very good at what they do. If you have had Carrabba's in the past and think that there's no reason to go out of your way to try *this* Carrabba's, I believe you are mistaken.

Me and my family went here on a Sunday night, and it seemed to be a pretty poppin' place. We had to wait for about ten minutes, but were eager to dine here given they got rid of our St. Louis location a few years back. The bread they brought out to start was pretty good. It was your standard italian bread with olive oil and pepper. I got the caesar salad before my main meal and it was very good and full of flavor! I got the pomodoro pasta as my entree which tasted pretty good! It was your classic spaghetti and marinara. However their was error lacking in the service. My mom ordered a co pletely different dish then the one brought out to her. She also asked for a budlight bottle and was given draft twice (draft beer gives her headaches) There was a regular seasoned server and a trainee helping us but the funny thing was the trainee seemed to have more knowledge of the menu. Overrall, the food and atmosphere were good! The service could use a little work, but at least the waiters were nice. It wasnt there fault the chef messed up my moms order. I would recommend this for a casual dinner and i would go back!!

I ordered crab cakes with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The kitchen server brought me a side dish of potatoes and said 'enjoy'. Who eats potatoes for dinner? When the crab cakes finally arrived there was no offer to replace/heat the mashed potatoes? the crab cakes were all filler and no crab. Terrible. I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir with the meal which was completely forgotten. I should have known something was wrong when I walked in and the restaurant was empty. The Sarasota Carrabba's ALWAYS has a waiting list.

This is a chain or restaurants. The food here is fantastic. The wait for a table can be long, but is worth it. The servers go out of their way to make sure that you are well taken care of and order the right thing for your tastes. The food was well presented and cooked well. Price is a little on the high side, but considering the service, I say it was worth it!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

They were so jealous, they went there to dinner that evening and had the exact same experience as us.

I love it when my salad comes out on a cold plate!! The service is always friendly and fast, pricing is moderate, and I have yet to have a dish I was not pleased with.

Average food at best. They do have good and friendly service. Being Italian I still don't enjoy the American-Italian style of Carabba's, Olive Garden, etc...

Good appetizers and mojitos.

Great service. Had the sampler appetizer. Only two small slices of bread for the bruchetta but very tasty sauce, calamari, and mozerella.

My first experience in a Carrabba's. So good! Fantastic, fast service and delicious food. I ordered the Johnny Rocco salad, which was amazing. The shrimp was probably the best I've ever had. Definitely going to find one of these closer to home!

Food here was great and reasonably priced for the location. Went shopping at the outlet first, then dinner here. Server was excellent...prompt, courteous, and attentive. Great experience.

Great food & service!!! We arrived into town late and tired. We were quickly given a table and were eating within 30 min!! Everyone's food was delicious!!
