Amazing experience here!!! Delicious food, with great customer service from the cahiers to the dining room staff. Friendly atmosphere full of joy in the restaurant. Completely recommend this Pollo Tropical location to everyone.

Worst experience ever. Guy at drive threw was absolutely horrible and rude. I asked for a chopi chop with no tomatoes I got one with tomatoes. Then I was told that they were all out of diet coke but really they were just changing the syrup bag and were just to lazy or overwhelmed to let me wait for a diet coke. Then when I finally got my diet coke again the same guy at the drive threw was so rude and I said thank you and he rolled his eyes and walked away from the window. I was not rude at all to these people not even one time. Worst customer service and hospitality I have ever experienced. Not a good way to keep up your business especially when there's over 20 new restaurants opening up on linton and federal. You guys better tighten your game up or else you will have no business with that attitude.

I try to stay away from fast food. But every now and then the urge strikes. I live in Coral Springs & the Pollo Tropical near me is just gross. However, I really like the Delray Pollo Tropical & since I was craving yellow rice & I was visiting a friend in Delray I decided to satisfy my craving. I have been to this location several times over the last few years. The inside is usually clean & the employees have always been friendly. Every time I have been inside this restaurant an employee has been tidying up the "sauce & condiment" bar which I love. Lets face it, people can be disgusting. I really appreciate that they keep this area clean. I love love love the curry mustard sauce. And I would hate to see it mixed in with another sauce because people can be sloppy & just are careless. This happens all the time in the Coral Springs store. Disgusting. Last night I went through the drive thru. The order taker was a little confused but our order was perfect with no mistakes. I ordered the small bowl with yellow rice, black beans and chicken. The small bowl is pretty large & a great deal at less than five bucks. My food was fresh and hot & very good. No complaints. The chicken was very moist and the black beans were tasty. I was actually surprised at all the veggies in the rice. Peas, carrots, onions & broccoli were all mixed in with the yellow rice & the rice was fresh & not clumpy at all. Delicious. I would recommend this Pollo Tropical because it is clean, the employees are nice & the food is good. It's also a great value since their prices are pretty reasonable. My tip would be to try the curry mustard. I think it's incredible.

Went for lunch and it was crazy busy, but even so I was able to order quickly and the food came out quick too considering how busy they were. The food was delicious and the sauces rock. The cilantro garlic is my favorite.

Pollo Tropical of course is a chain, so its pretty much the same no matter where you go. Just some locations seem to keep up the condiment bar better than others. Today I had the pork tropichop. To me, thats the thing to get! If they did not have the pork I would rate it lower as the chicken is good but its such small pieces. Where do they find these emaciated chickens??? They are the smallest thinnest chickens I ever saw. One way to cut costs is to find tiny little chickens as its sold by pieces, not the weight. I feel the chicken meals while they can be good, have so little meat on them its just not worth ordering. I like when you choose the beans corn onion tomato etc Step 3 you can say ALL of them. Thats nice!!! I find the pork meal to be a good deal! Today I tried the empanadas. No good. They are fried crispy and the shell is corn meal. Thats not the norm for empanadas. They are advertised as crispy and they are but to me those just are NOT worth ordering. I ate one. Pretty bad. The second I scooped the cheese out and left the nasty shell. Photo posted. I prefer the standard flour crust. This corn stuff isnt going to work! So if you order the right things, or the things that are right for you and make you happy, you can be happy here.

I got here at 2:42. The line is long. There are 8 people in front of me. The place is kinda empty. 7 people. There is only 1 cashier!! What? There are 2 cars in the drive thru. I guess it's because it is Thursday. Looks like people are getting their food fast. About 2 minutes Ordered half chicken with yuca and salad as sides. Food tastes good. Yuca is an aquired taste. Over all a good experience. They could have had 2 order takers to make the line go faster

Ugh! Learn how to cook your fries! Every time I come here I get the waffle fries hoping that they will be better than they were the last time I ordered them... but THEY ALWAYS SUCK! The oil is too hot, or they cook them for too long.... anyways they turn into deep fried rocks that could legit chip a tooth.

First time I was at Pollo. I was rather impressed for a fast food chain. I hardly ever so fast food but I would definitely go back to Pollo. You could see them cooking a ton of fresh grilled chicken. They had a nice variety for those trying to eat healthier such as salads and wraps. I liked the condiment bar where you got to pick out your favorite sauce, salsa or peppers. Loved their garlic ranch dressing. Had it on top of my salad with grilled chicken. Service was quick and friendly. My 7 year old son even devoured his meal. Good for when you don't have time to stop at a sit down restaurant and don't want to sacrifice healthy food for a gross fast food burger.

I forgot how pathetic and awful the customer service is in South Florida. I love their food but these employees are so miserable I would rather get kicked in the balls by a donkey before I give this place any more of my money. God Bless America and the freedom of choice!

First time at pollo, had a tropi chop and mango iced tea. I'm hooked! Especially the cilantro garlic sauce. But the best thing was the mango iced tea! My meal was delicious and quick, And even at peak lunch hours I only had to wait about 10 minutes! Oh and the fact that it was only five dollars and some change was perfect for me, the broke college kid working an unpaid internship lol

Super nasty attitude. My boyfrined went to pick up some food and they didn't have any sauces left and instead of telling him what they have left, they made him ask for every one while she just said no to each with an attitude. Same with the sides he was allowed to get with the "2 can dine" deal. Instead of telling him what sides he can choose from, she just rejected every side he asked for. Then he asked for no ice in the drinks so she filled the cups less than half way. I stop going to this place cause of the nasty attitudes of the people who work there.

This place is just ok. Chicken is tasty but pretty dry. If you get it you'd better make sure you have plenty of guava BBQ or garlic cilantro sauce on hand. The roast pork is fatty and not worth the money. I really like their chicken soup, it's pretty salty but has a fair amount of chicken and delicious chunks of yucca for a nice contrast in texture. Their white and yellow rice are both fair, black beans are a bit watery. They get their tres leches cake is from an outside establishment, definitely try it if you have the chance, it's moist and sweet and hits the spot after your meal. Service is pretty good here, it's rarely crazy busy.

I can't believe I'm admitting that I enjoyed some fast food, but I must give credit where it's due. If you're just looking for some super cheap, quick, Cuban/Latin American food, Pollo's your place. I found their grilled chicken to be flavorful, rice was cooked right, and their beans were pretty delicious. That combo (quarter chicken)was about $5 I believe. This is fast food, so don't expect the works. The staff was friendly as well. Note of warning - their hot sauce, is extremely spicy. Please be cautious because I learned the hard way. I will come back for some fried plantains!

Good chicken and rice lunch place with a cool Caribbean theme. The parking is very tight here and it is always crowded during lunch. I also think this particular restaurant has below average employees as compared to the other locations and it just seems dirtier here. If you want a better Pollo Tropical experience go to the brand new one on Atlantic Ave and Military a few miles northwest of this location.

This location is the worst the staff is almost always rude and incompetent and 9 times out of 10 they screw up my order and will have the nerve to tell you as a customer that you are wrong and you never ordered that item when clearly the drive thru attendant wasnt listening. I have really cut back on eating at this particular location.

This review is based solely on customer service because we didn't even get to try the food since they didn't have any. Pollo tropical sin pollo. Anyways, so my 2 friends and I were skipping to the door anxiously anticipating our juicy dark meat quarter chicken and ribs at 11pm. We stood at the counter for 10 minutes without being acknowledged at all. I know 10 minutes seems like nothing but this is fast food and keep in mind that there are at least 6-7 Haitians walking around, looked at us and completely ignored us while there was nobody else waiting in line. So finally, we waved someone down. She approached us, looked at us, rolled her eyes, sighed a breath like "what the eff do you want?" I mean, seriously? But whatever, we're hungry and we don't expect much from here. Not only did this lady not know how to use the computer, she doesn't even speak English. I literally repeat 'QUARTER CHICKEN AND RIBS' 10 times. At this point, another lady whom I'm assuming to be the store manager comes over and asks us what we want. Okay, still fine so I'm done ordering and I tell her I want dark meat. She looks at me like she has no idea what this phenomenon I speak of is. So maybe my English is bad or something so my friend says it again and then she looks behind her where the grill is, goes blank momentarily and then turns back at us and says, "ohh, we don't have any chicken". WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU AIN'T GOT NO CHICKEN? At this point, my friends and I are so shocked that we started laughing. That was one of the most ridiculous experiences I've had, especially in a huge corporate chain. Thank god for KFC next door to satisfy our late night chicken cravings.

We ate at Pollo Tropical while in Delray Beach in late April/early May. The food was very fresh and tasty. I had the "Classic Chicken" sandwich with plantains for a side, and my husband had the rice and beans with waffle fries. We enjoyed the condiment bar and the variety of sauces/spices/veggies it offered to dress up our food. If you're looking for an economical and healthier, tasty option for the usual fast food options, definitely give Pollo Tropical a try. Their Mango Tea is delicious. I wish we had a Pollo Tropical where we live. I don't even consider it "fast food" because it's so good.

The Eats: Pollo is the lesser of all evils. Yummy blackened chicken with Caribbean sides is the way to go. The chicken and yuca soup is above average. With sides like rice and beans, veggies, sweet plantain, salads, and yuca- it is not your average drive through. Nothing is fried. Grilled shrimp, chicken, steak, and ribs. I love the Tropichops with brown rice. The healthiest of the fast food options on that strip. Love the sauces (esp Guava BBQ and Cilantro) The Experience: It is fast food, what kind of experience are you looking for? There are fake palm trees in the inside ;c) The Damage: Cheap. A bit more than McDy or BK but WAYYYYY better for you. Lack of damage to your health Other thoughts: Open late
