I got delivery from here a few times, the first cpl times no issues at all, their pizza is actually pretty good. I decided to switch it up, the chicken sandwich I ordered was good. The fries were gross, soggy, bland and cold... They messed up my order of wings which were cold by the time I got them....Before tonight I'd prob would of gave them 4 stars, but I won't ever order from this place AGAIN!!! The delivery guy got lost for over 20mins, I called the restaurant to see what was going on w the delivery guy, they just kept me on hold and never even called back to follow up w the call??? What a joke...

Labor Day 2015, most restaurants I would normally go to are either closed or not honoring the lunch menu. Fratelli's on the other hand was just what I needed. Only a few tables tucked in the back were occupied but don't let that fool you, the food was incredibly fresh tasting. Shrimp tasted fresh out of the Atlantic. Would definitely recommend this spot for a nice intimate business lunch or any other type of outing. I highly recommend Nancy as a server, extremely nice, knowledgable, and friendly!

I made a quick stop in here with my son yesterday for lunch. We got our carb on and damn glad we did. I had spaghetti and a huge meatball while my son had the cheese ravioli. He kept opening his mouth for more and was leaning back after he was good and full. However, I wasn't a fan of the women's bathroom. It didn't have a changing table and it's not fun trying to change a one year old on the floor. Plus, it had a smell that smelled like rotten eggs or something died in there. If my hands were free, I would have held my nose in the bathroom to keep from breathing it in. Otherwise, the food and service was good.

My boyfriend and I moved here from California and we're looking for a good pizza place. We decided to try this place when we saw a delivery guy drive into our complex. Their pizza is great!! Very flavorful and giant slices! I also love cold pizza the next day and it still stayed soft and yummy! Will definitely be ordering again!

Had a GREAT server named Nick. He recommended that I try the mushroom bisque. To die for. It's a 9.9. A must have. Also had garlic rolls, very good. The linguini with white clam sauce was fair. It lacked depth and really just needed more garlic. Lots of clams, very impressive! Once I dipped a garlic toll in the juice it was perfect. Our server was really on top of things. Made it a pleasant experience.

We went for pizza night and barely finished. Waitress said everything was fresh so we ordered mozzarella sticks and they were clearly straight from the frozen box. I'm kicking myself now that we even paid for them. The pizza was pretty mediocre and not worth the calories - we will not return.

I was sat with my son for over ten minutes without being greeted. It took another 5-10 minutes for our waitress to bring our drinks. It was not busy the waitresses were in the corner talking. She brought the wrong drink for my son. Finally after being in the restaurant for near 25 minutes my soup arrived, with cold bread rolls all garlic, my son wanted plain. After a couple bites of my mushroom bisque i felt something in my mouth. There were large pieces of plastic in my soup! It took ten minutes for her to come check back. I showed her the stuff that was in my Soup so she said it must be from the cream they use for that soup. She offered me another soup which I declined, she never offered to get a manager involved. Then my appetizer, and dinner arrived at the same time!! Food is bellow average. I will never eat there again!

Love this place! We get delivery from them all the time and the only thing that doesn't travel well is the desserts. Oh well. Still good pizza and knots! Sometimes they do get jammed up with delivery orders, but the food won't suffer because of it.

Several friends and I just visited Fratelli's for the first time. I was in the neighborhood on holiday, and the facility peaked my interest. When we approached the impeccably looking entrance, and experienced the aroma of fresh baked breads before we even entered, what an inviting first impression. As we entered, we were greeted by a friendly hostess, who arranged our tables efficiently, pleasantly and engaged us in conversation, almost as if we were welcomed guests in her home. The menu challenged my every desire to satisfy my hunger. Smelling the fresh garlic and bread that permeated throughout my senses, we all agreed three orders of Garlic knots. The place was prime time, and busy, but we were all engaged in conversation. When our appetizers arrived, that conversation came to a halt and was replaced with almost seductive sounds of satisfaction. Being on holiday, I often tend to look at the menu at the ingredients, rather than what is offered. I wanted chicken and broccoli with the fettuccine alfredo, rather than the penne pasta. The server checked with the chef, and for a little extra, they were happy to make me a masterpiece. They delivered a mound of fettuccini with a lemon-peppered, maybe secret spice, grilled chicken breast, sliced in strips, and small pieces of broccoli drenched in the creamiest alfredo sauce. Muah! The food was fantastic. But what sparked this review was the amazing warmth and sincere Italian hospitality that merged with Southern Hospitality. It was the atmosphere and fun energy of the staff that made our meal an experience. Friends, don't leave without dessert! Oh! The Zeppolis. Oh! The Cannoli! Oh! My stomach!

1st time here. Service Stinks...food good. We were never asked if we needed water and we reminded. The waitress to get our soup after the first 30 minutes. The portobello bisque is delicious and the pasta was al dente. The garlic knots were ok. Frankly the next time I want Italian food, I will go to Momma Mia's in Boynton Beach. Their garlic knots and excellent, service and food great.

We ordered here after receiving a menu in our gate. Everything was cold/room temperature at best. Fries were soggy, fried mozzarella were just frozen sticks that were hard and cold. Even our drinks that we ordered weren't right. Disappointed as the menu looked promising.

Heard quite a bit about the garlic knots thanks to yelp, so I had to come check them out. I arrived and it was a ghost town. Seldom is it ever a good sign but I figured, hey maybe I found a hidden gem of a restaurant. I ordered two dozen garlic knots. It may seem like overkill but based on the reviews I thought it would be worth it. I'm a bit of a bread-aholic, and garlic well that's just bonus. I arrived home and to my dismay they were the worst garlic knots since....ever. Maybe I got myself excited. maybe I expected too much. but when it comes to garlic knots I don't really think one can expect too much. Bread butter garlic. Three things all three they failed at. The bread although seemed like it was just bake was probably reheated the knot was dry though there never been butter on it and the garlic anything but freshly minced. I did not like it and I will not return. sorry. on the bright side this review is so limited to the garlic knots they really have something else going for them.

Service here is horrendous. Been twice in the last month both times waited by the door looking like an idiot waiting to be seated. It took our server 10 minutes to come by and take drink orders. When it came time that our entrees arrived they had no idea who ordered what. It was like Denny's as they auctioned our food off.

I eat at Fratelli's regularly but the other night I had perhaps the best fish dish I've had in the 7 years I have been in Delray. To call it a "fish dish" is actually a disservice. Chef Bob created this delicious Sea Bass over fettucini with an amazing tomato sauce...maybe more a tomato ragout.. An extra thumbs up to the owners Dave and Nancy who have done some renovations and added Gelato flavors that are an amazing dessert.

Horrible! There a garbage cans that serve better food. The staff was either exhausted or drunk. The food was microwave at best. This place was once amazing. It is now embarrassing and a waste of time and a dinner. Never again. Avoid at all costs. The only redeeming quality was the very polite bus boy.

Had a large pizza which was very good for south Florida, little on the pricey side but still good. Also had the chicken, broccoli with penne. That was delicious and a huge portion, saved half for lunch tomorrow. It was one of the best Italian restaurants in the Delray Boca area. Great service, the girl behind the bar was extremely friendly helped make the experience even better.

I was very disappointed in this restaurant this evening. My friend and I have eaten here and also ordered take out numerous times and their food is usually very good. However, tonight when I called to place a take out order I clearly asked for Greek Salad and an Eggplant Parmesan Sub (the same thing we order all the time at least every other week). So this isn't the best pizza but it's convenient since they have pizza specials Mondays through Thursdays and I'm sure most of us don't cook dinner every night. The crust and sauce is pretty good but I think there's too much cheese on the pizza which is also a bit salty.

We were a table of 5. Soup and salad came- no bread We asked for bread, waiter said it was in the oven. Still no bread We asked the waiter Said it was out of his hands. We had 4 orders of Stacked Eggplant. After 40 minutes no food we asked the waiter. He said they are waiting for the eggplant to get hot in the center. I don't believe the orders were ever given to kitchen. Another 10 minutes- eggplant came-cold in center, No apology, no one care. Go across the street to Carabbas- They go out of their way to make you happy-Food is great, service is great-Prices are just right.

Ate there last night, had chicken parm special. Decent portion for the price. Sauce a little salty. Bread drenched in oil and garlic if you like that. A good deal for 12 dollars that included drink, salad, and desert.

since renzo's doesn't deliver to my house and we didn't feel like driving... i decided to give fratelli's a shot. it was a friday night and they sounded pretty busy when i called which is always a good sign. it took about 45 min to an hour to get the pizza, i was told it would so that's all cool. the guy on the phone and the delivery guy were both very friendly. the pizza needed to be heated a bit when it arrived but other than that it was really good. nice crisp crust, quality cheese and sauce (not too sweet like most places around here). price was great. it's not as good as renzo's (brick oven, of course) but it's definitely gonna be our new local "go to" pizza place. ps. we had meatballs for a topping.... sinful!! may be ordering again tonight. shhhhh.

Unbelievable pizza (Popeye's) and a great salad- We just moved from the West Coast and I thought I would morn the loss of our favorite pizza joint (Giorgio's on Clement in San Francisco), but I was wrong. Fratelli's is just as great!!

Garlic knots...heaven! I can't even explain how good they are. Started off with a calamari appetizer - i've found fried calamari can often be too salty, but this was not the case - they were delicious and the marinara sauce was also very tasty. I had grilled chicken with vegetables and a small salad - not much flavor but I squeezed a lemon over the meal and it perked right up. Chicken was a little dry/overcooked, but still good. Hubby had a greek salad and loved every bite - the feta was super tasty. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Dropped in here twice while on vacation. Both times, by myself and sitting at the bar. Food was excellent and service was great (pasta both nights). Even watched them deal with a bonehead trying to order take out. They treated him respectfully, even though the guy was a moron.

I liked the Fratelli's near my house so much, that when I came out of the movie theather and saw the second location, I had to check it out. This location is much larger than the other one in Lake Worth. We ate chicken parmesan and linguine w/ clam sauce (yummy!). Their homemade garlic rolls are absolutely delicious (though you couldn't come near me with that garlic breath afterwards!). The service was friendly and efficient and the waiter promptly brought my kids' meals out first. My only complaint is that they serve Pepsi instead of coke!

Loved this restaurant for several years, but the final word is they are a small business that just doesn't have it's act together. On multiple occasions I have placed an order with alfredo sauce and they have given me vodka sauce - their staff clearly hasn't been taught how to ask the right questions in order to place orders correctly. If you're working in an Italian restaurant and don't know the difference between alfredo and vodka sauce, you have a problem. I recently placed an order for delivery which took twelve minutes, no exaggeration - it was a Saturday at 6, so I understand they were busy and I was patient and polite - I was put on hold five times. The girl who assisted me (I won't state her name out of mercy) should not be multitasking like this, as not only did she get my order wrong, but she probably miscounted change, inappropriately ran credit cards, etc. Maybe it's okay for table service, but Fratelli's clearly has issues when it comes to take out and delivery service. Get it together, Fratelli's. You're on the D list. LATE NOTE: The girl did call me to make good and resend the correct order free of charge. While I appreciate the gesture, I had already placed an order with another restaurant. I'm home with the flu and was looking forward to the original order being correct. Unfortunately, it's too late this time.

For pizza and casual Italian in the Delray Beach/Highland Beach area, Fratelli's is a solid bet! Located in The Plaza at Delray, Fratelli's is a casual Italian spot, sporting a homey and comfortable interior, with plush booths and decorative lamps hanging from the ceiling. For food, you have many options, ranging from pizza to entrees to salads. I happen to like their pizza, which is well cooked and has pleasantly salty cheese with a well balanced and sweet tomato sauce. If you order toppings with your pizza, such as any vegetable toppings, they tend to be fresh and crisp. If pizza is not what you want, they have many entrees available. One of my favorites is a Snapper Pomodoro, which has sweet and flakey Red Snapper filet accompanied by a sweet and slightly spicy marinara sauce, salty Gorgonzola cheese, and sautéed spinach. If you are not a fish or seafood eater, the Grilled Chicken is simple, yet juicy and served with fresh and crisp seasonal vegetables. I also happen to enjoy their house salad, with crisp lettuce, sweet and ripe tomatoes, onions, shredded carrots, and a pleasantly vinegary house vinaigrette. All of these dishes are reasonably priced, with pizza pies at $11-$12 and entrees from $10-$17. In addition, many available coupons and specials can make your meal at Fratelli's cheaper, with my favorite being the Tuesday and Thursday $7.99 18 inch pizza pie special valid for dine in, take out, and delivery. Whether I have dined in, taken food out, or had food delivered, I have always received friendly and efficient service. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and great food make Fratelli's one of my go to places for pizza or casual Italian in South Florida.

Not the best pizza in the area, but the best you can have delivered. They are usually busy with a 45 minute wait time, so place your order accordingly. Far better then any delivery in east Delray.

Not only did they ignore my SIMPLE request to restrain from putting Gorgonzola cheese on my pizza but when I ask for a new pizza to be made they slopped together a 17" piece of half-assed CRAP! Awesome place, great atmosphere with a "homey" feel to it. Good pizza, (not greasy like other places). Excellent service from everyone there ("easy on eye" as well:)

Ate there last night, had chicken parm special. Decent portion for the price. Sauce a little salty. Bread drenched in oil and garlic if you like that. A good deal for 12 dollars that included drink, salad, and desert.

Far better then any delivery in east Delray.

since renzo's doesn't deliver to my house and we didn't feel like driving... i decided to give fratelli's a shot. it was a friday night and they sounded pretty busy when i called which is always a good sign. it took about 45 min to an hour to get the pizza, i was told it would so that's all cool. the guy on the phone and the delivery guy were both very friendly. the pizza needed to be heated a bit when it arrived but other than that it was really good. nice crisp crust, quality cheese and sauce (not too sweet like most places around here). price was great. it's not as good as renzo's (brick oven, of course) but it's definitely gonna be our new local "go to" pizza place. ps. we had meatballs for a topping.... sinful!! may be ordering again tonight. shhhhh.

Horrible! There a garbage cans that serve better food. The staff was either exhausted or drunk. The food was microwave at best. This place was once amazing. It is now embarrassing and a waste of time and a dinner. Never again. Avoid at all costs. The only redeeming quality was the very polite bus boy.

Not happy with the reception we got. It wasn't even busy at all. So decided to go to Carrabba's Italian Grill right across the street

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
