Unbelievably bad drive through. I dig Popeye's, but half the time I drive away with the wrong order from this location. Today, instead of a 4 piece meal with mashed potatoes and gravy, I opened a 3 piece chicken fingers and fries when I got home. Please hire someone who can read.

I remember when Popeye's opened near my house as a kid. "Love that chicken from Popeye's" It had been about 30 years since I last had it. I recently got a new job and there is a Popeye's nearby so I went for dinner. The chicken was great. The staff was average, and the dining room was so so clean. This is an old location and shows the wear of its age. If the dining room were clean I would have given it 4 stars.

I had a hankering for some fried chicken. I went through the drive thru and ordered a 2 piece chicken meal with a biscuit and red beans & rice. I thought it would be quick. The cashier told me to park because it would take a few minutes. As I drove by the window to park, there were so many people inside. Holy cow! It was like somebody rang the dinner bell at 9 pm! I guess they had a craving like me. Everyone that went to the drive through had to park and wait. Sooooo, 20 minutes later a guy came to deliver my meal. It smelled amazing! I was thinking this was worth the wait. When I got home, everything was HOT! The chicken was crunchy on the outside and moist & juicy on the inside. Red beans and rice were yummy. The hot biscuit with honey was yummy. Oh and I got the 2 for $1.00 apple pie. Hot with lots of cinnamon & sugar on the outside, had to wipe it off. Too sweet. Totally worth the wait and at least I know the chicken was just cooked and not sitting under the warmer all day. Popeye's does chicken right!

Terrible drive thru service, 98% of the time I drive away with the wrong order!!!! I stopped patronizing this location for a few months, and when I decide to give them another shot they DISAPPOINT me AGAIN!!! They really need to train and develop their associates because clearly they're not up to par.

It was 5:30 P.M. They should be ready for customers.One should not have to wait 20 minutes for food that is already prepped. The three people in front of me had the same experience. I asked to speak with a Mgr. three times and was totally ignored. I don't even think there was a manager on duty . There was no direction in the kitchen, there was absolutely no communication. I have never seen employees move as slow as every employee in this store... there are a lot of people looking for jobs who are willing to "work". These employees could care less about their job duties.... I eventually asked for a refund and magically my order appeared. I left totally unsatisfied, angry and very frustrated. I will NEVER go back to this store.

This rating is not based on food quality (which I like Popeyes) but specific to this location. I arrived at 10:50 pm to a line of 3 cars. I wait until 10:58 and when I place the order the guy says sorry we're closed. I explained I got there early it was not my fault you had people ahead of me and from there just ignored me and the two other cars behind me. I hope this was not a manager telling me this, if it was I'd tell the owner fire him immediately. For one the food they don't sell will go to waste and thrown away and two you just lost $27 possibly (average $9 sales for 3 customers estimation) of guaranteed revenue. Sorry but this is inexcusable at its finest

Delicious! Red beans & rice is awesome here! Great chicken...nice people...just use drive thru so can't comment on inside...a bit of a drive...but I love that chicken!

Watching a hurricane can work up quite an appetite....so I went out to find a quick snack. A Popeye's was open so in I went. Popeye's like any good national chain, has exceptional quality control so that the food is not regionalized but tastes the same no matter the location. This is the case of this Popeye's I ordered a couple of pieces of the spicy fried chicken, an order of popcorn shrimp and a biscuit. The chicken was tasty, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The shrimp was crunchy but not over cooked and the biscuit was medium light and tender. I like Popeye's much better than KFC's which keep perfecting the soggy chicken.
