My grandparents lived in Deland and going to the Nest was one of my favorite past times when I visited them. Browsing the store with an IPA in hand was always enjoyable and it made me want to buy stuff! Cindy helped us ship a box with these super cool roman style glasses home to NJ. She even let us look at a large open barn across the way for a possible wedding destination. She really went out of her way. Made a great store even better.

My husband and I visited this store on a recent trip to Florida. We had been looking for an eclectic loveseat for our porch and found the perfect piece here. My husband wanted to purchase it but we didn't know how he were going to get it back to Philadelphia. He spoke to Cindy and asked if they did shipping. She said they had never done it before but would investigate the possibilities. After spending considerable time online, she determined the best and most affordable way was by Greyhound. The terminal was in Daytona. We had to leave for Phillie the next day. Cindy took the time to carefully pack the loveseat, drive all the way to Daytona and ship it to us via Greyhound. We then went to the terminal and picked it up and it arrived in perfect condition. Cindy went out of her way to ship this item to us. She spent a lot of time researching and figuring the whole thing out. She kept in constant communication with us. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. Her store is a wonderful and interesting place and her prices are more than reasonable. If I lived closer, I would be a frequent customer. Take the time when you are in or near Deland, Florida to check out The Nest and tell Cindy I recommended her.

I love all the eclectic furniture and gifts, as well as their great selection of beer and wine. Such a relaxing cozy environment. The owners are sweet and interesting people, and they open their shop to meetings, small local concerts, and will rent it out for small parties. It is perfect for every age!

This is a funky, little shop located in the Artisan Alley in Deland. They sell a combination of antiques, art, and eclectic knick-knacks. It's also a beer and wine bar! What more could you ask for?
