    I've been eating here for 11 years. Consistently great pizza and the only pizza restaurant that doesn't skimp on the toppings. LOVE the anchovys they use. Great to eat in, yes its a little rough, but the food makes up for any missing fake Italian decor.

    I've been a fan of Pantheon Pizza for a while, but, I've always gotten my orders delivered and I've never dined inside. On my last visit, I came inside and picked up my order. Wow.. it was so hot in there (I saw one window unit inside trying to cool the whole place..). I ordered a two topping calzone and my husband ordered a two topping stromboli.. The boxes weren't marked for toppings and they both visually looked the same.. So, while we are outside, my husband cut into both of them to find that his had been made wrong. He brings his back inside and they remade it for us. Both the calzone and the stromboli were filled with our choices of toppings. I could not have been more impressed by the value (PP offers a "$5 happy hour menu" during the week and all day on Sunday, with a wide variety of menu items to choose from). Overall, we were both happy with our meals and we look forward to our next take-out night.

    My husband and store while we're in Daytona beach dor bikeweek. He ordered gyros and I ordered a med greek salad. It took forever for our order to come but I have to admit they were really busy with take out orders. They place is fairly clean but certainly needs some serious renovations. My salad was fairly good but my husband's gyros was dry because it didn't have any yogurt sauce.

    The worst service EVER for a pizzeria! Food ok...do not order from here...it took 2.5 hr to get our CORRECT order!

    This place deserves no stars!! If I could do negative stars, I would! The service and the wait were HORRIBLE! The Greek salad was just lettuce and the pizza was disgraceful! I will never come back!

    I didn't care for the pizza. It was very gloppy and wet, and I thought it was poorly seasoned (white pizza and hawaiian). However, for myself I ordered the fried fish dinner, and I actually really enjoyed it. Unsure if it was frozen, but it was crunchy and the insides were flaky. The hush puppies were good, more on the savory side than sweet, and it was served with crinkle fries. Service was good, and they are in the process of remodeling. I'm intrigued, will order a reg pizza next time or try one of their ribs (!), gyros (!), or subs.

    Ok-this place doesn't look like much but they are remodeling. If you get slices-it's not that good but not horrible. Getting a whole fresh pizza-very tasty. This is thin crust pizza. Also greek salad is pretty good. This is not A+ but definitely B-.

    After reading a number of glowing reviews [at another site] of this Pizza & Grinder restaurant (a grinder is what folks in the New England call a hot oven baked submarine sandwich), I figured Pantheon was worth a checking out on a recent trip to Daytona. Surprisingly my attempt to cross reference the other site with Yelp was ineffective because there were no reviews of this place on Yelp. The Pantheon has good pizza that is substantially better than chain pizza fare but its pizza falls short of great or gourmet. The best part of their pizza is the cheese. Pantheon uses "Grande" cheese. Grande cheese costs more and definitely is a step up from standard pre-shredded pizza mozzarella most pizza restaurants use. When I see that a pizzeria uses Grande I know they are willing to spend a little more to deliver a quality product. Grande Mozzarella will never be confused with fresh or buffalo mozzarella that you would find in Naples or as an option in to big city gourmet pizza restaurants. The cheese on Pantheon's pizza was very good and there was a lot of it. They use fresh mushrooms not canned mushrooms (a sure sign of lazy pizza operator) which is worth points in my book. I was impressed with their sauce as well, not to sweet, not to spicy, I do not think they made it with fresh tomatoes from scratch but it was quality. The pizza oven at Pantheon is not coal fired (the best way to cook a pizza) or wood burning (my second choice) but it's a pizza oven and not a forsaken conveyor belt oven one would find at a Pizza Hut. The crust on their pizza was simply average and without distinction. The crust was not as good as the cheese, toppings or sauce and was the weak point of the pizza. Pantheon is a solid value. A 10" one topping pizza is $6.99 and 16" large is $11.99. Panthon has ice tea that is brewed (no bar gun concentrate here) and served with fresh lemon for $1.29. The grinders menu ranges from Ham, Salami, or Turkey ($4.99 for 8"), to Philly cheese steak, and Chicken Parmigiana ($5.75 each). As for décor this place is badly in need or a renovation. The walls are wood paneled like a finished basement from the seventies. Unframed pictures of Italy and Greece are showing wear and look very dated. The bathrooms while clear are low end and antiquated even by casual chain standards.
