The neighborhood can look shady if you're not familiar or comfortable with certain cultures. But it's a safe location if you're smart about your valuables, like anywhere else. The food is amazing and the service is really "country home" in feel. Only down side is that its so popular that during prime time hours it can be very busy especially on a Friday. It's down the street from a college campus so many students come here after the cafeteria is closed also.

I really don't care about the location.... Yadda yadda yadda..: the wings are legendary. People travel from Orlando and other places to have them. Whenever I'm in Daytona it's a must to eat here.

Rating are 1-5 1-the worst 5-the best Size of Wings- 3 good size nice Crunch Factor- 5 oh mama are these crunchy Sexy Factor- 5 these babies are what dreams are made of Sauciness-5 dripping with amazing honey sauce Wow Factor-5 I make weekly visits just for these wings, I'm getting hungry writing this review. yada yada on the neighborhood ....... the neighborhood and the service is part of the charm & character .... I'VE BEEN TWICE and the customer service is funny as 43LL ..... oh myy!!!! it is always an interesting argument going on - like your neighborhood barber shoppe ...relax and enjoy it!!!!!! and yes ... parking is a challenge. if all of that is an issue - go to Hooters ...... the wings are GRRRREAT!!!!! i really enjoy the honey - barbecue wings ....... you will oder them to go _ - -absoDAMNlutely BUT I recommend that you order double your desired amount. why?? Because once you eat one while driving - you are not going to stop ntil you eat at least - TEN! Remember I warned you BUT keep some weft naps because they are good & sticky and you will be mad having sticky hands while you drive because you are NOT going to stop eating them after you start - "consider yourself WARNED" LOL if these aren't the best wings I have EVER had - I sure don't remember what wings I had better .........

Far& Away The Absolute Best Chicken Wings Anyone Will Eat Ever!!! Whenever you go in, ask for however many wings you want "dipped". Example: "Let me get 12 wings, dipped." Guaranteed to be hooked after the 1st taste.

This place is a dive but the wings are FANTABULOUS!!! The honey wings are the best!! Not everyone in our party had a sweet tooth so we also ordered plain wings without sauce and wings with plain buffalo sauce. Everyone was happy with their choice. I will definitely be revisiting the next time I'm in the area.

SWEET BABY JESUS THESE WINGS ARE INCREDIBLE! To be honest it is a shady neighborhood, but with all due respect these wings are legendary and i will gladly walk in to any part of town if the wings were as good as these... Mother of God, They are delicious!!!! Cheap too! I make the drive from Orlando when ever i can wing it, (see what i did there lol)

There is nothing better than a wing from this place!!!!!!! I drive from Orlando, fl to get these wings. They are the ABSOLUTE BEST WINGS in FLORIDA!!!! If I could fly there I would. It's worth the drive.

My bestie went to college out there and swears by these wings. Me not being much of a sweet tooth the honey wings really didn't knock my socks off. I prefer spicy stuff, spicy like I can eat a jar of jalapeños like it's nothing. I eat extra Wasabi and siracha with my sushi. But I digress.. I was concerned about the neighborhood but it seemed to be ok besides getting stared down by locals. We got there on Saturday afternoon, it was pretty packed. The wait was about 15-20 mins. It didn't seem like a long wait we people watched and texted back and forth making jokes of the people we people watched. The gentleman that took my order asked what would I be having, I said what ever the locals get I'm new here. He suggested the 12 pc honey wings, I said make em extra crispy. Nothing worse than a slimy wing! We both chuckled and he said i got you. I prefer flats, to get all flats is an additional charge, I forget how much but no financial hardship I assure you. The older woman that took our payment struck me as being someone who didn't take sass and was no nonsense so it was yes ma'am no ma'am with her lol the wings came with fries, I prefer crinkle fries with wings. They had fake mcdonalds fries. I actually tossed their fries and went to mcdonalds to get some fries. It also came with a roll. That was ok. My wings were good, cooked to order, prepared exactly how i asked, but the flavor didn't knock my socks off. Im a good cook and i replicated their wing sauce recipe when I got home (atl) from florida. Dude that's how simplistic it is to make. I might need to open a shop next door and give them some comp! Lol all kidding aside, service was better than I expected and tasted better than I expected. They could do better than offering some off brand soda products. I got my drink from mcdonalds as well. I've been to florida 2x since my first visit, I asked my companion did he want to check it out. He said is it worth a 2 hour drive round trip? I was like not really, so we didn't go. If I'm with my bestie next time I will be sure to try the hot. Maybe they will earn another star and knock my socks off this time.

Bethune Grill is a neighbor dive! The staff is very pleasant with welcoming smile! We ordered the plain wings!!! Can you say juicy and not over cooked like Publix! As for the comment made about the community it appears ppl of your race have a difficult time flexing between both worlds unlike ppl of our ethnicity. I'm from West Philly so I know "hood" and Bethune Grill is NOT. Thank you Bethune Grill Staff! I will be returning!

Great!!!! Wish there was more parking and a location that was in a better part of Daytona....did not appreciate the guy that thought it was funny to block my car in....I grew up in the ghetto but left that life long ago the wings ....well let's just say I will guard the bottle of wing sauce I bought and will use it carefully

I went here because it was recommended by several people as the best wings in town. I went and they were good going down...but not too long after eating them I was terribly sick. I still know many that swear by this place, and maybe I got a bad batch, or perhaps my body cannot handle all the grease...but I will not be back.

The food gets a five but the customer service gets a ZERO, the average is why my rating is so low. I love their honey hot wings and look forward to them every time I come from Tampa. However, their customer service and makes me not want to do business with them. I call to place a to go order and they to me 15 mins and it never fails for me to show up and my order isn't ready. The last time I did that everyone in the building got their order before I did (incl. ppl who walked in after me so I know their orders were placed after my call). On top of that I told him I wanted two 10s, one without sauce. Why do you think I got both without sauce? I was very clear in what I said and he even repeated it back to me. If your order isn't going to be ready when you get there what's the point of calling ahead? If they aren't going to make good in the order they are placed then just don't take call-ins. But that doesn't even take the cake. Tonight I kept calling and the first couple times I just got a busy signal. Which is expected it is Super Bowl Sunday. So I waited and called back again and all I got was a continuous ring. Hung up and tried back again because I had a large order and didn't want to wait for that in house. The last two times I called some one answered the phone and just didn't say anything. What the hell? Who does that? Oh I know people who lack professionalism! So finally I decide to get in my car and go up there. I get there and they are closed which is fine but when I called and someone answered, didn't say anything and then hung up they could've used those times to say something like "We are closed." or "We aren't taking anymore orders." But to just answer the phone, listen to me say hello without saying a word and then hang up the phone is not customer service friendly. That's how businesses lose customers and end up closing down (no matter how long you've been open). I suggest management get their workers in line on how you treat people who pay money to come to your establishment or if it's management with the piss poor skills then I suggest taking a portion of the profits and using it on some training for everyone because I can assure that's not the way to keep doors open and people coming back. I know I won't be back. I've had all the rudeness I can take when I'm shelling out my dollars. I will give my money to Guiseppe's down in Port Orange. I always get welcomed, wings are good and so is the sauce, and when I place an order to go it's ready when I arrive.

Upon parking and walking to the grill which is In a run down African American neighborhood, I was immediately being watched by the locals and heard one saying to another "What the he'll is he doing here?"

Something special going on here. The honey wings are worth the trip. 8 for 6 bucks with fries. Honey Wing sauce is so good I dipped every fry in it. Not too sweet at all. In a rough neighborhood but worth the trip.
