My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Vienna Cafe tonight. The customer service was excellent. The hostess and manager both visited our table. The professionalism of the waitstaff and servers exceeded most establishments. Our waiter was knowledgeable, polite and paced our courses according to our needs. My husband who is usually partial to the schnitzels had beef stroganoff which was classic except for the bacon which made the dish even more excellent. The crack conch appetizer was delicious and abundant. The waiter recommended I get my tuna blackened which was served with spinach, tomato confit, and delicate fried onions. The Sonoma salad is a must. A couple of months ago we had a baby shower brunch with 50 women. It was very successful and surprisingly affordable. As a customer for many years I am happy to share this local, family owned establishment, keeps getting BETTER! Recommend all meals. French toast is to die for on weekend.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and we were greeted promptly by a pleasant hostess. Our waitress came over soon after we were seated and bread arrived a few seconds later. I wanted the filet mignon with a different sauce and they were accommodating! That's definitely a plus. My steak came out cooked perfectly (well done for me). Hubby hand a chicken breast sandwich which looked fresh; hubby enjoyed it. The fours stars is really because of the potatoes. My fingerling potatoes and my husband's french fries were a little bland. I'm not sure how else to put it. My only thought is maybe they are buttered and greased up like other places. Less fat = less flavor? I did like the interior with it various paintings and overall styling.

After more than a decade in the restaurant business, it's no surprise that Vienna Café & Wine Bar is food done right! Located off of State Road 84 between Nob Hill Road & Pine Island Road in the Pine Island Plaza, this hidden gem in Plantation takes you on an "epicurean excursion to Europe without leaving the USA." Upon entering this first class establishment, you are whisked away to a quaint European bistro tastefully decorated with white tablecloths, dimmed lighting and appealing artwork where one can bring family, friends or that special someone. This is a place that would certainly be reserved for special occasions as it is moderately priced with appetizers ranging from $6 - $17 and entrees from $18 - $36. One of the great things about Vienna Café & Wine Bar is their specials. Mondays & Tuesdays offer half priced wine bottles and each night, you can expect to see some great entrée specials being prepared by their amazing chefs. Their wine list has been carefully prepared by the owner and has something for everyone. They also offer a full bar and prepare hand crafted cocktails that are sure to knock your socks off. For me, the Stella Maris Washington Red Wine Blend was the perfect complement to my meal. I started off with the Not-a-Pizza appetizer ($10) which was a flat-bread topped with mushroom & onion ragout, goat cheese, cracked pepper and basil. The flavors in this dish complemented one another very well. Very light and flavorful, the mushroom & onion ragout paired with the cool goat cheese created a sensational party in my mouth. This dish is sure to appeal to anyone in your party and can easily be shared. Ask your server to have the kitchen split it into four pieces so that everyone can have a taste. For the main course, Vienna offers a well rounded assortment of entrees that will please the pickiest of eaters. From roasted Portobello mushrooms for the vegetarians to the lamb chops and filet mignon for the carnivorous bunch, Vienna does an impeccable job with their entrée offerings. I went with one of the restaurant's specially prepared entrées. With four options to choose from, I made the difficult decision and selected the seared Corvina fish with pear, mushroom and pancetta served on a bed of mixed grain risotto in lemon vinaigrette ($32). AMAZING and PHENOMENAL are the two words that immediately come to mind when I think about the taste of this dish. The Corvina was seared impeccably, not too crispy and not too mushy. The risotto was the perfect texture where it wasn't undercooked but still had a little bite to it. Surprisingly, it wasn't a creamy risotto as that is what I'm used to seeing paired with most fish and seafood entrees. It was refreshing to see a new take on the side dish with the addition of pear, mushroom, pancetta grape tomatoes and chives. Additionally, the lemon vinaigrette balanced out the dish by giving it a citrusy, lemony flavor that accompanied the Corvina and the risotto quite nicely. Lastly, your meal here would not be complete without at taste of one of their freshly, made in house desserts! All desserts are made on site and used the freshest ingredients to satisfy any sweet tooth. Whatever you're in the mood for, they have something to sooth your craving. Nutella Fudge Squares and Crème Brûlée Cheesecake are just a few of their yummy goodies created to cap off your meal. I indulged in the Crème Brûlée cheesecake ($7.50) and it was probably the best decision I've made all year with its smooth and creamy cheesecake filling with an ideal brown sugar crust that was torched just right! Combined with a touch of whipped cream and strawberry on the side with a raspberry sauce, it was a sweet ending to a wonderful meal. If you're in the market for an unforgettable meal with incredible service, Vienna Café & Wine Bar is the place to be. They are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, offer Saturday and Sunday brunch and host a monthly five course wine dinner that varies in price. Reservations are highly recommended being that the restaurant is on a smaller scale although there are plans to renovate starting in July.

Cozy and cute place. Delicious Mimosas and char-grilled chicken sandwich...fries were awesome, but the chicken breast could be a little bigger. Other than that, i recommend this place!

Food was excellent, Service was good, Wine was good, Dessert was delicious! Overall an excellent experience. Only negatives were that it was pretty loud at times and lighting made it a little difficult to see the menu for me and my wife. Guess we are becoming those old people in our middle age!! Lol This was our first time here...and it turned out a little expensive for 2 people, $156, but we did get a $46 bottle of wine. Don't know what has taken us so long to pay this restaurant a visit....but don't wait like we did.

Great meal and service. Our waiter was Charles and he made it a wonderfull experience. He was very professional, knowledgable and not pushy at all. The cheescake creme burle was amazing. Good selection of wines. Have a reservation or go early.

Very good tonight. A tad slow but not a biggie. Food was great. My pork chop was a bit dry, but still flavorful. Duck was good & so was the chicken. Love the pork belly appetizer & both the Sonoma & Spinach salads were great. Enjoy!

Really a 4.5!!! This is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants!!! I have been there at least 15 times probably more. They take reservations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That's right... for breakfast!!! How awesome is that. Rather than go wait an hour at the local Pancake House or whatever, go to Vienna's! First the look. It's in a strip mall right against Interstate 595 next to a dunkin. From the outside, it basically has the look of a home. Once inside, it just works!!! It's a bit old and cluttered yet, it works to perfection!!! It is a very cozy and elegant looking restaurant, particularly at night. The service has always been good too! For breakfast we've had it all. The Two Poached Eggs with the Canadian Bacon on a Toasted English Muffin Topped with Hollandaise Sauce and Fingerling Potatoes is awesome. I prefer the Lox Salmon with the capers and onions on a plain toasted bagel. Yum!!! (please check out my wife's pics under Brenda P.) You have to try this place!!! As for dinner, we've probably had their entire menu. The Danish Meat Balls a/k/a "Frikadeller", served with pickled cucumbers are spectacular. These are my favorites. I will have these either as an appetizer or as my dinner pretty much every time. For appetizer, we've had the Braised Duck Confit, Scallops, Smoked Salmon appetizer, Yellow Fin Tuna Carpaccio and Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras. All excellent! For dinner, we've had the Roasted Duck, the Wiener Schnitzel, the Jaeger Schnitzel and the Fillet of Salmon. All excellent. Seriously. This place is a hidden gem. Very authentic schnitzel by the way. As for their wine list, the markup is about 100%. For example, a bottle of Cakebread which retails for $79 is listed at $150. A bottle of Groth which retails for $65 is priced a bit better at $106. If you prefer, you can bring your own bottle and pay a corkage fee of ONLY $15. Excellent!!!

I am giving this a 3 star review with room for improvement. This past weekend we ate brunch here with two of our friends and their little dog. They were able to accommodate us on the porch, perhaps the reason why the service was spotty. My girlfriend and I ordered the bratwurst entree (kind of a weird lunch I know). The bratwursts were good but rather small. We also had the chopped salad with chicken ($16). This salad was not wet good: it was pretty dry and they served it to us without the cheese and bacon. Because we were on the porch and they only came by every 15 minutes I did not complain about the salad until the end of our meal. They took off $10 from the bill because we were dissatisfied with it. Also our friend ordered the bottomless mimosas and they were initially slow to bring her a new glass until I said something. All in all I have eaten here before however due to the fact we were on the porch and what we may have ordered, this was not our best meal here.

First time there and will definitely not be our last. Food was great. Wine list and drinks where awesome. Dessert and service was stellar. Place is in a strip mall but inside your transported to a little house in Vienna.

Enjoyed lunch with friend on Wednesday. Cute place. We had specials. She had vegetarian sauté & I had duck/andouille hash with 2 over easy eggs (brunch item). I had 2 meals from leftovers as both specials came with soup. The dessert tray was fierce. Everything house made. My friend had white chocolate cheesecake. She was so full that she requested leftovers to take home. They gave her whole new one to take. Service excellent and full bar. Going back for dinner!

Love.. Romantic and great fresh food. Service just perfect. Unique and delish! Family or party of two!
(5)Valerie S.
We have been coming here for years and love the menu selections. Everything we have ever ordered has been delicious and cooked to perfection. The service is always top notch. They recently redecorated which was long overdue and it looks much better. Very large wine selection. We will continue to go here, love it!

Went with my bf here for date night. The food is pretty good, with very large portions (each dinner is enough for 2 people easily) and a big selection on the menu. It was pretty quiet so had no problem getting seated quickly. Heres the problems I had. I ordered the weiner schnitzel. Traditionally it comes with red cabbage. It doesnt here. No big deal ill just ask for some. The waiter brings it and apologizes for forgetting it and dinner is great. Tastes wonderful. Get the bill and find out he charged extra for it. It really bothers me when the waiters dont tell you that something costs extra. A lot of times I wont order it if it does. Would rather just have what it comes with. Also I know dim lighting is supposed to add ambiance and all, but it was dark. Like you can barely read the menu dark. I would come here again though simply because the good is food.

I'm giving Vienna a five star rating because of being able to create some good memories here. My husband rates the food at about 3-4 stars, and I tend to agree, but the atmosphere, service, and nostalgia this place holds for me bumps up the rating for me. This place will cost you. Just know that. It is for special occasions. With that said, I have celebrated my husband's 21st by taking him here 5 years ago, I was treated to a fancy meal here by my dad when I turned 15, and I have returned here just the other day (after 2 or 3 years) to celebrate my parent's 30th anniversary. It is such a beautiful, cozy fine dining place. Do dress up nice. Most places we don't have too, but this place gives us an excuse to! :) shirt and tie and a nice dress, and you'll feel ritzy and classy! If you go in knowing it'll be a $50 a plate night, then you are good. I would definitely recommend the cheese and pate platter...it has always been one of my favorite appetizers. Oh, and get wine to go with it! I had the salmon plate topped with potatoes and it was okay. Very decadent. I enjoyed my sister's plate more: grouper with lump crab in carolina mustard sauce...now that was delicious! My husband's coffee ribeye was just okay, but my dad loved his steak au poivre. And at the end of the night, do not pass up a tiramisu and a cappuccino. Find that extra space, it's worth it! The cappuccino is served with a rock candy stick to stir it with & get some sugar in your coffee simultaneously. And at the end of the night the server took 20 percent off the bill- which came to $40 off (so you do the math haha)! He did it for my parent's anniversary, which I thought was so sweet. I will always like this place.

My friends and I went here upon the recommendation from another friend. We enjoy brunching so decided to give it a try. We arrived at 11:30am and was immediately seated. It had just opened so it wasn't packed. We had mimosas, Bloody Mary's, smoked salmon Benedict, breakfast platter and a frittata. Presentation was nice but my beau found the sausage on his platter a bit over cooked and his eggs were a bit undercooked. My Benedict was good but the fingerling potatoes were hard and appeared to be a bit old. The frittata was ok. Even though they weren't busy, service seemed a bit slower than average. One table wasn't bussed for at least 15 minutes. The Bloody Mary was awful. I'm from Louisiana so my palette is a bit selective but this was bad even to my Floridian native beau. The tip suggestion includes the taxes; I have never seen that. Overall it was an average experience. We may return.

Wanted to try a new place for brunch. Decided on this place because of the reviews and was pleasantly surprised of its interior for the area. However, the food and service were disappointing. Overpriced. I ordered the Spanish Frittata. I usually don't add salt to my food, but had to alot. My date had to as well. Both of our meals were lacking flavor. The waiter was not attentive. He didn't refill our water once. We pretty much only saw him when he took our order, brought the food out, took the plates away, and when we had to get his attention to give us our check. I really can't justify going back here.

In the heart of Davie, Vienna Cafe is a welcome respite from the mulitude of sports bars, sub shops, and now gourmet burger places. The restaurant is fairly quiet and tastefully decorated. They have even recently made some updates including a modern bathroom and an outdoor garden. Vienna has been here ever since I can remember and I hope it stays. That is why I wish I could give it a higher rating right now, but recently there have been too many misses for me. For now, really a 31/2 star rating for me. The food is definitely worthy of four stars. Dinner is on the expensive side, but you can find some original dishes here which are worth trying. My friend just died over his Sambucca Shrimp appetizer ($15):. three large prawns, in a sauce comprised of bacon, butter, & sambucca, he said it was heaven and would order three portions next time! In the past I have had the Pan Roasted Scallops($14) as an appetizer, which are also excellent. My favorite dish here is the Filet of Beef Strogonoff ($29). Like some strogonoffs, this is not just some mystery meat with brown sauce and butter noodles. This is 8oz of sliced filet mignon, cremini mushrooms with a demi glace and black truffle cream over pasta. The meat was perfectly cooked and the demi glace is such a nice change to have instead of a more traditional sauce. Another dish that I would recommend is the Frikadeller ($22). Vienna is really known for these sumptuous large Danish Meatballs which one can get for an appetizer or main course. They are usually served with Red Cabbage and Pickled Cucumber, but who could blame my 11 year old for wanting them with mashed potatoes instead? Both the meatballs and the potatoes were absolutely delicious! Husband had the Chicken Schnitzel, which was good (although a bit boring!). My 9 year old enjoyed the Duck and Andouille Cassoulet. I do like the fact that many entrees (definitely the pastas) are available in half portions. Although they have a really nice children's menu, the regular menu is far more interesting and the half portions are good kid options. Our friend had a special, Coffee Encrusted Ribeye. He was not thrilled with the coffee flavor and said the meat was not very tender. Recently we went to Vienna for lunch. It was a weekend and we really wanted brunch but we were too late for the breakfast type of items. For lunch there is a variety of sandwiches, burgers, and salads which range from $9-14. I had the Grilled Portobello Mushroom Sandwich ($13) which was just okay. 9 year old had a Chicken Cobb Salad ($14) whichhe hated. The burgers were nothing to write home about. The real reason I could not give Vienna four stars, however, is the service. When we went for brunch I did not find our female server to be friendly or helpful at all. At dinner, the server was very friendly, however, the food took forever to come out. There is no excuse for it to take over twently minutes for bread and salads to come out (especialy at 4pm in a mostly empty reataurant). I do not believe this was all the server's fault.as it then took another 45 minutes for the main courses to come out. That is on the kitchen. If you live in the West Broward area, do not want to travel far and want a change of pace, that is not a chain, that is quiet and romanic then give Vienna a try for dinner. The food can be really good....just be prepared to linger over your wine and wait a while for it.
(3)Tamara C.
Great place for lunch as well as dinner. Their ice tea is wonderful and I had a "no bun burger" which comes with cheddar cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms on top with a side salad. Can't get better than that for a delicious, healthy lunch.
(5)Jian K.
Went in for a Sunday Brunch. The food was OK. I wasn't really blown away by anything. I did like that they had escargot. That was delicious. The one thing that really ticked me off was the service. Not that it was bad service, but it was SLOW. It took forever for us to order, get our food, and get the check. I get that it was busy, but it's also a small restaurant. You can barely make it to all the other tables without having to pass ours. I'll probably come back, but not for brunch.
(3)Kamini R.
One of my favorite neighborhood gems! I've been here several times and I'm never disappointed. The food selections are amazing, great wine list, flexible with reservations, but I recommend making one if it's your first time. It's very intimate setting, but still great for a girls night out or romantic dinner. I've taken my gf's there and they all went back with their bf's and they all loved it.
(5)Dawn B.
Amazing! Ordered a bunch of apps, the soup of the day, an amazing mushroom broth loaded with mushroom. Then the mushroom tart, a delicious flaky pastry and loaded with mushrooms in a reduction. Fois gras with apples melted in my mouth! And the lamb chops divine! Run! I can't believe that I waited this long to go!
(5)Maryluz G.
I had the beef stragonoff and it was extremely delishes. I would recommend it in a heart beat. The service was very good and nice ambiance. It is a very nice local restaurant worth supporting. Also had the porkbelly appetizer. Very tasty considering i dont like fatty meats
(4)Natalia L.
Very impressed, food is unbelievable good, so delicious. From the outside we have no idea this place could be SO good! Ill definitely be back next time I'm in MIA.
(5)D B.
The last time we were there, the service was ridiculously slow and it wasn't even crowded. The whole outing took 2+ hours. I was also very disappointed in the vegetarian options. I ordered a vegetable platter and it was basically a bunch of grilled veggies with little seasoning for way too much money. We will not be going back anytime soon.
(2)Tina B.
My favorite date night spot. A true hidden gem in Davie. This would really be a 4.5 star rating, as the service can be hit or miss. However, the food is consistently outstanding. I've had each of the schnitzels, the frikadeller, the scallops, and the stroganoff. There are not many restaurants in South Florida with some of these as menu options! As many others have written, the Sonoma salad is a great choice. The dining room is fairly small, which adds to the intimate ambience. On a weekend or special holiday, I would definitely recommend making a reservation.

From my multiple reviews you know I'm a fairly straight forward Meat & Potatoes man or some sort of Italian variety. Visiting Vienna Café tonight takes me out of my regular element with 9 gentlemen heading out for the evening this past Wednesday night. A nice sized establishment in the front of the strip mall which fronts SR 84 on the East bound side. Plenty of free parking and what would appear plenty of seating. Not very busy on this early Wednesday and they have a small 5 seat bar in the front. We sit to a diverse menu of European favorites. A nice round table seats 9 of us comfortably and our server forget her name sorry a very nice French Canadian lady takes care of us all evening without issue. Some pre dinner drinks and couple bottles of various reds are ordered as we peruse the menu. The wine list is diverse but light on domestics and especially Cabernets. A nice Pinot Noir and also Meritage are selected. The wine list is a steal with a $50.00 bottle retail being sold at $67.00 Top Stars for price points here. So many things ordered I'll try to keep the listings & opinions simple. Soup of the day several ordered was fire roasted corn & potato chowder. $6.00 a plentiful soup bowl which was very tasty and rich in flavor. Asking for Parmigiano cheese fresh slices was provided that melted into the soup giving it a perfect blend in taste & texture BIG WINNER HERE. Mushroom Fricassee was sautéed in port wine & cream served over a homemade flaky crust pastry $11.00 enough to share for at least 3-5 people. Excellent without being over bearing. Seared Foie Gras served rare with shallots apples & cognac cream $17.00 were top shelf and fresh and tasty. $12.00 escargot with shallots lemon & garlic butter were equal to the test also coming in as top shelf. $12.00 a couple of Wedge salads with blue cheese, bacon, tomato & red onion along with a combination fresh gorgonzola also enough for 2-3 persons to split were ice cold and also perfect. On to the entrees: Jaeger Schnitzel were medallions plentiful in size of veal $24.00 with Madeira wine sauce & fingerling potatoes Veal was delicious fresh and tasty and sauce was excellent. I thought the potatoes were kind of bland that really did nothing to accentuate this excellent dish. Filet of beef stroganoff was filet mignon seared and not mixed with the pappardlle pasta. The sauce was mustard, black truffle butter, demi glaze cream. The meat was top shelf though I thought the pasta was a little mush and the sauce a bit flat $29.00 House special of the evening boneless rib eye with black & green peppercorn cream sauce was off the charts tasty with the meat not being prime still top shelf $36.00 A prime center cut bone in pork chop $26.00 was as good as it gets fresh and tasty. The disappointment on the menu was definitely the Wiener schnitzel which was a lightly battered platter of veal with pickled cucumbers. This was dry and utterly tasteless though that is pretty much what the dish is. Even so there was nothing that could bring this breadcrumb to life. No Desserts were tried though a Soufflé was offered (need 40 minutes prep time so you know). Coffee & Espresso's were hot and fresh. All and all this was excellent. 4 to 4.5 stars here... Atmosphere good, price points per quality of food excellent. Wine list price points VERY GOOD. Top shelf and off the charts on most of the items delivered with some marks off for Stroganoff that lacked some flavor and the Schnitzel was a failure. Service top shelf. Bottom line would not for 1 second hesitate to come here again. Bravo.

My brunch club decided to venture somewhere a little more local last Sunday, landing us at Vienna Cafe & Wine Bar. The restaurant was pretty quiet and we had no problem at all getting a table for 11 people with little notice which was definitely a welcomed change compared to places like Tap 42 where you have to stand in line like an hour before they even open if you want to get a table (seriously people it's not that good). The downside to a quiet restaurant though is that our group's rowdiness was that much more amplified. I think Vienna Cafe is definitely geared towards a more middle-age demographic, so my group of 20-somethings with a sprinkling of 30-somethings wasn't exactly welcomed with open arms. Not that our waitress was unfriendly or anything, but between the butter challenge that went on, the seven or so rounds of mimosas, random roaring and general noise level, she was so done with us by the end. She gave us a hard time about splitting the check... and when I say she gave us a hard time, I mean she wouldn't do it. Alright fine, here's 11 different credit cards since that's obviously easier. As far as the food goes, you have your classics. French toast, pancakes, egg platters, etc. Definitely not the place to go if you are into creative and innovative options. Since I am not a big breakfast food eater, I ordered the Sonoma salad which was spring greens, spinach, apples, walnuts, raisins/craisins and gorgonzola tossed in balsamic. It was a tad heavy on the dressing but all in all it was actually quite delicious. Same cannot be said about my ice coffee though. Shit was so weak that I drank a cup and still got a coffee headache later in the day. So here's where my panties really got in a twist. Before arriving, I looked at Vienna Cafe's menu online since alot of restaurants don't give you the full menu at brunch time, which is exactly what happened. The salad I ordered was listed online as being $10. It wasn't listed on the brunch menu I was given at the table, but I was of course able to order it since it was past noon anyhow. When the bill came, my salad was $12. Yes it's only a two dollars difference, but that kind of thing bugs me - just update your site! My [weak ass] coffee was a ridiculous $3.50. Tax and tip and for my salad and coffee, I'm out nearly 20 bucks which is much too high in my opinion.

Never disappoints! So we walk in and are politely and kindly greeted by a wonderful young lady, she asks if we have a reservation, we stated no and she informed us they had a big party coming in shortly (to assure we were made aware that it would be a full dining room). We were immediately seated. Our server I'll Fonso came and was courteous polite suggested entrées and and no entrée failed. The service here is impeccable the ambience is remarkable the food is stupendous. We ended the night with a delicious chocolate soufflé, it was Out of this world. Both my children devoured their meals. I highly recommend It, you will not be disappointed.

Went here with some friends the other night and i was positively surprised, given that there are not that many restaurants in Davie. Or the suburbs for that matter. Place has a good selections of wines, even though when we ordered a second bottle of the cab were were drinking, they were out of it!. Service was lacking a bit, but i guess it was because the server was a young girl and di not have a lot of experience it seemed. The restaurant was packed and it was good we had a reservation. Salad was ok, the pasta i had was very flavorful and a bit salty for my taste ( spaguetti al ragu). Everyone else was happy with their meal. Portions are a bit too big so you will not leave hungry. Overall a pretty good place for Italian and wine.
(3)Marnie G.
My women's group meets here monthly at lunch time. We reserve the private room. It's a great little room for our meetings and would be nice for a private party as well. The place is very quaint with cute décor and a cozy atmosphere. The wait staff is always extremely friendly and efficient. The food is yum to the o! One of my staples is their chicken salad. I love it on top of the Sonoma salad. I've been for dinner once and it was delish. This is the quiet little place that you canoodle on a date. I definitely recommend it.
(4)Kelly W.
Over all a very nicely appointed Venue. I was greeted nicely and walked into a well done Venue. We had a wonderful time, the Wine Selection was very nice. Her Veal and Mushrooms were great. I had the Coffee Encrusted Rib Eye. I would recommend Medium Well on this selection. They have a very nice Dessert Selection. We had the Berries and Ice Crème and it was delicious. A bit Tricky to find, but worth it. It is on the Service Road of 595. It is close to University Drive. Key is that is faces the access road, not back in the shopping centers. My GPS ended me about 500 yards short, but I did find the Venue. Definitely a great Couples Night Out~
(4)Bruce S.
Wow! Went with my generous friends to Old Vienna this evening, a truly a great meal. I had a glass of cab, it was perfect, followed by a spinach salad, and a pork chop, (medium) per waiter's suggestion. Fabulous. I also sampled my friend's pate (great) and their Wiener Schnitzel, off the charts! I can't wait to visit this hidden gem again. South Florida has some great places to eat. See my reviews, I am fortunate to visit these places because my friend's are true culinary experts, I am blessed. Very professional staff and host.UPDATE!!! Went again 3 weeks later to see if MY love WAS-exagerated...NOPE! As deee-lish as the first time.
(5)L G.
Always enjoyable. always good. I would take any date, any business meeting, anyone I liked there and know that they would be impressed with the food and experience. I am not a salad person but love their Sonoma salad. Anytime I want to really enjoy a meal either because I'm celebrating or need a little pick me up, I go there. If you are in the mood, check out their desert tray. The best restaurant in western Broward County.
(5)Chloe F.
This is my...use to be...favourite restaurant, UNTIL they served me a Bloody Mary with a COCKROACH in it! I had to give them a low review for that and it took me a while to go back, I had to accept this is South Florida and damn bugs are everywhere! I finally did go for one of their wine tastings and it was great. I remembered why it was one of my favourite restaurants. I have never had another bad experience. They do a great bottomless mimosa special on the weekends and monthly wine tastings. The service is always on point and friendly. The food is excellent, well prepared and the menu changes with the seasons to what is available and fresh. I enjoy the mushroom and goat cheese flat bread and always the lamb chops (huge lamb lover over here!). They use to do an excellent Lychee Martine, but recently changed the receipt, not so good anymore, but you can ask for the old style and they will still make it for you! -- Super nice! Although I will never forget my one negative experience, it really is a good place and I will recommend it to people who are looking for a nice classy night out.

In all fairness let me start by saying it was a busy Thursday evening and on top of that the local chapter of the Ferrari Club of America was meeting for dinner. The restaurant was understaffed (apparently car club attendance was double what was expected) and we endured exceptionally long wait times for everything every step along the way from drinks (I got up from my table at one point and went to the bar to order a few drinks) to the check. My understanding is that this is atypical for the restaurant (did the smorgasboard of gorgeous exotic vehicles filling the parking lot add to the headcount? Perhaps.) I liked the ambiance. Lot's of dark wood and cozy spaces. A good selection of beers and I enjoyed my traditional Old Fashioned. My appetizer was Steak & Blue Cheese - strips of grilled beef with crumbled blue cheese on top of soft pita (the menu said flatbread and I was expecting something crispy). The beef was tough, albeit a very generous amount. I think I would have enjoyed it more if the beef had not been so sinewy. My entre was a Sonoma Salad with Spring Mix, Raisins and Walnuts Tossed in House Made Balsamic Vinaigrette topped with Gorgonzola Cheese and Sliced Apples. Delicious. Because we were with a group the restaurant slapped an 18% gratuity on top of the check, but it certainly was not earned for service. With all the dining options available in the area, it's unlikely we will be back.

This place never ceases to amaze me when it comes to flavor. A sophisticated way of cooking but definitely worth it. Don't look at the price tag as such a bad thing when you're having the privilege to try such delicious cuisine. Only downer is the few times I've gone they seem short staffed and you have to wait quite a while before they pick up your finished plates.

I recently celebrated my 2 year wedding anniversary (and 6 years total) with my wife. We were going to be super low key, gran some take out and cuddle on the couch binge watching something. But much like our entire relationship at the very last minute I decided we'd go out! You have to understand she used to HATE this about me - the last minute plans that is - but she's grown accustom to it....and I like to think she enjoys the spontaneity now. Maybe. Probably not haha This place is somewhat of a hidden gem - and judging by the outside...you are taken back when you walk in. It's a nice spot....not usually associated with Davie (I LOVE DAVIE.....mainly because they have so many good mom and pop restaurants that cook up a storm...but certainly not known for it's fine dining). It's also in one of my favorite stripmalls in BPB - where RoundUP and The Mack House are. I've passed this place a couple dozen times in the past....and never even thought of walking in. I immediately noticed that we were the youngest people in here. Granted, it was a weekday...and it's Davie....but we were younger by at least 20 years. No biggie. It was a Monday - and they let us know they do 1/2 off bottles of wine on Monday. YES PLEASE - we got a bottle and nibbled on bread as we looked over the menu. Ros went with the veggie risotto. A pretty large serving - and it was good (yes, I took a bite). I went with the NY Strip with potatoes au gratin. Those potatoes might be on my new favorites list. They were amazing. Unfortunately the steak fell a little flat. I'm always hesitant to order steak anywhere - as I'm often disappointed. I felt I could of cooked this steak at home - maybe it had to do with the "experience" as I waited for a steak knife for about 10 minutes....waitress no where to be found. Finally when I got up to ask for one, she appeared. It's unfortunate she was so unattentive when the place wasn't even half full. I'll be back and try some other things on the menu soon.

BRUNCH it's what's for LUNCH, well at least on Sundays! Went with moms over the weekend and it was delicious. We started off trying to go to Kristof's but the line was out the door with waiters, drove across the street and landed up here! Last time we tried the restaurant was closed for renovations, but they are once again OPEN for business. They added on and now have a 'party room', so if you are having a bridal shower or baby shower, there's definitely room here for those types of events. Looks like they made some additions to their menu including Foie Gras which makes me a hungry girl. Definitely going back for dinner and I'm hoping they still have their half price wine night! On to breakfast, I ordered the eggs bennie ($11) and moms ordered the cornflake crusted french toast with berry compote ($8) to be honest I liked hers more, but we shared so that worked out in my favor! Bill with coffee was just shy of $27 w/out tip. Their dinner menu looked awesome so that's my next stop! Going back for sure!

Lovely atmosphere, small plate version of duck confit cassoulet to die for. Diver scallops were great too. Excellent service as well!
