India is the birth place of Chicken Tikka Masala and Curries. Indian foods are prepared with a blend of finely mixed spices quite popular across the region. The spices develop the rich taste in Indian food enough to boggle your mind. Best indian food i've had. Love the indian music videos.

Order Chicken Tikka Masala (mild for me and medium for my boyfriend) tonight on the way home. I picked up the food, the host was polite and I left. The rice was alright but nothing special, not very moist. The sauce for masala was okay but left a lot to be desired. **THE CHICKEN WAS TERRIBLE. It had the texture of a hot dog and tasted old. Total waste of money in my opinion.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! I had been craving Indian food for the longest time but the hunt for a decent, let alone a good, Indian restaurant in sofla had always been such a struggle. All the good recommendations I've received were either too far north or too far south. Palace Indian Restaurant was only about a 20 min drive so it seemed to be the best bet for my family, though we were a bit hesitant based on just so-so yelp reviews and a pretty empty shopping plaza. HOWEVER, we gave it a chance and I'm so glad we did! Upon entering, the restaurant was much larger and nicely decorated than I expected. It was spacious and divided into two separate areas for the lunch buffet and dinner, respectively. There were already a few tables occupied so we were seated at a cute little booth and the host (the owner I'm assuming?) immediately filled our glasses with water before leaving us to look over the menus. A few minutes later, he came back with some complimentary papadum with chutney for our table and we ordered the garlic naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken saag, chicken vindaloo, and a whole tandoori chicken (all mild except the vindaloo, which was medium). I also ordered a mango lassi, which wasn't as thick and creamy as I usually like but still pretty good nonetheless. Our food came out promptly and everything looked and smelled delicious. Each meal came with a pretty good-sized serving of basmati rice and daal and I couldn't wait to dig in. Butter chicken is always my absolute favorite Indian dish and the butter chicken here was no exception. After tasting it, I was immediately happy that we decided to dine here. The chicken tikka masala was also exquisite and really gave the butter chicken a run for its money. The chicken saag wasn't the best that I've ever had, but it was still tasty. The chicken vindaloo was tangy and spicy and my mom, who barely ever eats, devoured half of the dish herself. The tandoori chicken came out on a sizzling skillet and though the meat was a little on the dry side, it was seasoned very well and complimented nicely by the grilled onions. The service throughout the night was a little slow, but that's probably due to the fact that there only appeared to be three workers in the entire restaurant. Regardless, they were friendly and consistently refilled our waters. Overall, I was completely satisfied with our meal. Not the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to, but it will probably be our new default Indian spot because everything was satisfactory and it's within reasonable driving distance. The prices also weren't as steep as I expected. We ordered about 7 entrees, naan, 2 mango lassis, and a couple of extra orders of rice for a little less than $150 before tip. That's not TOO bad considering Indian cuisine is usually more on the pricey end. Most of the reviews here seem to be about the lunch buffet, which I haven't tried yet. But for dinner, I don't think this place gets enough credit. We'll be back! UPDATE: I've tried the lunch buffet and it wasn't at all bad as some of the other yelpers made it out to be. *shrugs*

Their lunch buffet is perfect. I had a brief moment of awkwardness when I first walked in, but here's what you do: claim a table, and they'll set it up for you while you grab a plate and cutlery and load up at the buffet. They'll bring you some fresh, hot naan and a glass of water, and refill as you need it. The buffet is cheap ($12ish), tasty, and there's a good variety, including at least 1 dessert. Their vegetable korma is to die for. You're also treated to a loop of goofy Bollywood on the TV overhead. And then, when you're done, leave your plate, and head to the entrance to pay. The waiters are very attentive and will most likely be waiting for you. I've never had any problems with their service- they're quite friendly and accommodating. Overall, this is a perfect spot to grab some lunch :).

This was the first time I ever ate Indian food. Went there for the lunch buffet. Everything was very good; but, I don't really have anything to compare to. So, if you're new to Indian food like I was, I'd suggest this place. They had a large selection of food and everything tasted good. They have a really great dessert which was something that involved pasta in milk and sugar. Delicious!
(4)Hector L.
I was craving Indian food for a long time but I must say I wasn't blown away food. It felt Americanized. I can see why someone would like it but I won't be going back again. The service is exceptional.

This has to be by far the best Indian restaurant that I've ever eaten at. All the food is very fresh, the flavors are exquisite, and the service is very good. I've only been here three times and always during dinner, never actually made the buffet. They have many vegetarian options, so for a vegetarian like myself this place is awesome. As in most Indian places they have a sampler dish of several of their vegetarian dishes. Here its called vegetable thali and it really hit the spot. It comes with 4 different curries, a couple of sauces, a dessert, rice and fresh hot naan(amazing). The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is simply because in my opinion $23 for the above meal is quite pricey given that it has no meat in it. Nevertheless, it still is the best Indian food I have ever had. Highly recommended for vegetarians and carnivores alike. They also make a mean mango lassi. Staff is very friendly and occasionally gives coupons for your next visit.

Good place, wonderful food. Four of us went for a casual dinner and we all were overfed. Their portions are HUGE. There was enough left overs to take home and feed us for another day. I will highly recommend chief's special selection and beer, "Taj" and "Old Monk"
(4)Sherry W.
Buffet for lunch on Monday Wednesday and Thursday is 1095. Lunch buffet on Friday Saturday and Sunday is $12.95. They are closed on Tuesday. Good selection on buffet. They only have 6 top tables, which makes eating by yourself a little odd. They were quick with clearing plates, but I did have to ask for a water refill. You pay at the cash register with no check provided by server. They have ala carte menu for dinner. Some of the buffet items were not hot, only luke warm. They did a good job keeping the buffet stocked. They bring you fresh warm naan bread to your table. I wish they had gulab jamun for dessert. Instead they had a warm crushed carrot & almond mix. And the warm milk with noodles. I thought it was a good buffet for the price. There is plenty of free parking in the attached parking lot. They have a nice seating area for dinner with canopies over your table. The buffet seating area feels like a banquet hall.

Be prepared for food poisoning. I live Indian food and came here with my dad and brother for dinner. To make a long, gross story short, I would not recommend going there. To anyone. Unless I really didn't like you. The three of us ordered three different entrees. They came out looking, and tasting, remarkably similar. One of the dishes was a fish curry. Bad idea. The fish was old and full of bloodlines. So gross. The other two dishes were made of some unknown means. All of us are big eaters and could barely touch our food. The staff obviously knew we didn't like it, but because we never saw them again until the bill came there was no way to tell them. The service is terrible, the food is disgusting, and the place is dirty.

What a bunch of nice, friendly folks! Food is delicious, just the way i remember it tasting in New Delhi. Super fast coming out, and very generous portions, try their naan and lamb curry, sooo yumm.
(5)Richard P.
Good lunch buffet but a bit pricey. They charge more for weekends, too, which is fine, except their weekend starts on Friday! The naan was quite good. Goat was good though a little fatty. The tandoori chicken was dry. Vegetarian and other chicken dishes were fine. A 20% tip is included, which is not only presumptuous, but excessive for a buffet. That said, the food is good, not great. It's worth a visit but $12.95, not including drink, plus a 20% tip ($16.20 incl. tax total) is a bit much for most working people.
(2)Diana B.
I come here a few times a month when my husband and I are craving delicious authentic indian food and I have to say, this hits the spot every time. Food is great, plentiful buffet, good service, and i always leave happy.
(5)Matthew N.
Best Indian restaurant in FT L. Service is great. Food is excellent. Just wish it was closer to the east side.
(5)Justin D.
Wife and I eat hear on the regular. Food is always delicious but you do have to watch your spice level. There is a difference between an Americans medium and a true person from Indias medium. We learned this during our time overseas. We prefer the lamb biryani, very tasty and tender. Another favorite is the butter chicken, maybe the best I have ever had. Na'an is amazing and multiple choices to choose from and that makes everyone happy. Foreign beers are available which is a nice treat for beer lovers who want to explore different types of beer. Chutney is delicious. This isn't the cheapest place to eat but when you get your meal you get your monies worth. Often getting 2-3 meals for one dish. Only negative is sometimes the spices used are large and if you bite into a dead or something the flavor can be quite powerful, you'll want to watch what you eat.

Setting: Average-below average. Feels like a converted office space Service: Average-below average. I came for lunch on a Monday at 1PM and the server never came by to see how I was doing Food: Average. I had the chicken soup, chicken tandoori, paneer, pakora, goat curry and naan. The flavors were good, but the food was obviously sitting around for a while. Also the selection was meager, but at least everything tasted good Would I come back again? Maybe

Ate at the restaurant and also had them cater an event. Manager is incredibly helpful and professional. All details for catering were tended to in a better-than-expected manner! For food, strongly recommend the palak paneer, naan, kabobs and gobi manchurian. Honestly, our guests were extremely satisfied with the food at our event. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Some good, some bad. Let me be positive and start off with the good...the food is solid with my usual caveat of, "for South Florida." If you are really desperate for Indian food, then I guess it will suffice. The bad as some have mentioned are numerous. First and foremost, the service is abysmal. The wait staff is totally inexperienced. Second, and somewhat related, the prices are quite high. I am talking higher than suburban New York prices. Most dishes are $16- $22 and will feed one at best. I don't mind paying high prices if I feel like I am getting something for it. But quality of the food, plus the location (a strip mall off 84), plus the abysmal service do not give you the right to charge such prices in my mind. Bad service takes away from the whole point of going out - to enjoy oneself. My advice to management. You have the most important piece - decent food - down. Stop giving out coupons and then raising the prices on the menu to compensate. It's ridiculous.Charge normal prices, train your wait staff, and use the money you save to advertise. I've been twice and both times came away feeling the same so I know it's not a fluke. Not coming back for another year.

For taste and cleanliness, I give this restaurant 4 stars. But I visited with a friend who I was introducing to the restaurant for the first time, and I was very dissatisfied with the food display. First off, the lunch buffet ends at 2:45. I arrived with my friend at 1:30, the bar looked as tough we were getting the left overs. 3 pieces of tandoori chicken and about a cup of rice in the pan. When I brought it to the attendants attention he asked if that wasn't enough. At one point my friend and I were standing with our plates in hand waiting for them to replenish the rice container which the attendant walked out with a bowl of rice. Seriously? I was very embarrassed about bringing my friend here for lunch. It's a shame because the food is delicious. For the price of the buffet, I was very dissatisfied with the presentation and quantity of food displayed on the bar.

Three of us were attending a Panthers game and looking for somewhere nearby to eat at around 10:00PM on a Saturday. Turns out there wasn't much open other than the big chain places?! Palace was listed as being open till 2 on Yelp, which is not true, so we made the short drive. When we arrived at around 10:40, we realized that closed at 11 but they made it more than clear that we were welcome and that they were happy to have us. Lots of places would have handled that much differently. The food was really great. The service, especially considering the time, was perfect and the owner (I assume he was) made a special point of coming over to talk with us and thank us for joining them. Great all around.
(5)Jessica L.
I have not even left this restaurant and just had to write a review! The food was AMAZING and the service was spot on. I could not be more pleased with our meal and we are already planning our next trip to The Palace!

I'll start out by saying I love Indian food and eat it almost once a week. I went for lunch and was disappointed. The food was edible and the place was clean but the food was bland. I think the best part of the lunch was the Naan and even that tasted stale and bland. I thought that the selection for the lunch buffet was fine, just each dish disappointed. I also got there when they were first setting up for lunch so it's not like the food sat out too long. Do yourself a favor and try a different place.
(2)Trish C.
A hidden gem of an Indian Buffet! I had a hankering for Indian food, this was close by and with 4 stars. The location is understated, but once inside the smell is fantastic. The food looks great, the buffet is clean. There were not many people which surprising given the amazing flavors! The only complaint is that the food was a bit cold from being out so long. If the food was warmer, this will be perfect.

I received an Amazon Local email where they had this place. $15 for $30 worth of food. I remember that I once visited this place, maybe 10 years ago and remembered that it was good but for no reason, never really went back. I bought the deal and went there with my wife last Friday. We had a great experience, with friendly staff, and it wasn't too crowded. The sodas are sold by the cans, which I HATE! But man, did this people make up in what is really important, which is the food. This is what we ordered, and if you ever go with someone to this place, and find that it's difficult to order the food because of their names, order the same things we ordered: For starters: Vegetable Samosas - two empanada-looking pastries, filled with delicious curried pasty mix of vegetables that taste amazing. Believe me, it tastes like meat. lol Breads: Keema Kulcha - this thin baked flat breads that were stuff with minced chicken with a hint of mint and other spices. Oh Lord! I'm salivating as I write this... Main courses: Chicken Tikka - these are marinated boneless chicken chunks in the most amazing spices from India and Pakistan which then gets baked in this special magical clay oven called a tandoor. Whatever comes out of that oven is guaranteed to be delicious. This plate comes out on a cast iron skillet in a bed of onions sizzling just like a fajita. Ayayayyy!! Murg Aloo - basically is the much improved version of the boring chicken fricassee. Basically the same, except that is all different. Get it? Chicken and potatoes, no bones... Okay, so they had dessert but I won't be able to tell you what is good because we had no room for anything else. What do you think we are??? Anyways, the Amazon Local deal is still on so we are buying another one. I will probably order the same starters and breads but switch on the main courses, FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. I will be nice enough and report back on my findings.

I have been to so many Indian restaurants and this must be one of my worse experience with it. The customer service was great we were welcomed and severed very quickly. But then we asked how long the food was going to take and they told us 15mins, we ordered and the food was out in 3-5mins. The roti, naan and the malai kofta was descent quality and quantity, but the yellow daal had this weird smell and did not taste fresh at all. The rice which we got 3 of them and all of them were stale, old looked like it was cooked 5days ago. I mean the bill was reasonable and they took off the daal but honestly this was one of the worse places I've had eaten at. Will not come here again! Definitely do not recommend.

Great place! The food was perfect and the servicr was great! Best indian restaurant I've been to in florida !
(4)Niki F.
Our first time at this extremely cozy place. Food is excellent and service is out of this world. As a former restaurant owner, I was pleasantly surprise to still find amazing service. We had the samosas, appetizer platter, coconut chicken, goat and curry chicken and they were all better than the other. I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely will go back !!!
(5)K G.
As an Ex- pat from Birmingham, England (home of the Balti) I can honestly say this place is Ab Fab ! Keep up the good work Rakesh !!!
(4)Savoir F.
Went for lunch with two friends and it was quite LAME. I have eaten Indian food in NYC, South FL and other large cities and this was mediocre, at best. We tried most things on the buffet and many dishes were heavily spiced. We had asked if the buffet was spicy, which I suppose is silly to ask a native from India because their spice tolerance is much higher than the average American that doesn't care for spicy food. Aside, from the spice issue, the employees were indifferent, bordering rude and could not spare a smile to save their lives. I would absolutely NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.
(1)Preeti K.
Food is good but on the pricey side. Got take out from here and everything was hot and yummy.
(4)Damien M.
Amazingly friendly and personalized service with a huge smile and warm welcome from the staff. It felt like they really cared about my comfort and enjoyment of the food. If you like Indian food (or this is your first time) this is a great option in the Davie / Fort Lauderdale area. The chicken korma was top notch and the mango lassi was amongst the best I've ever had. The plain naan had a little bit too much butter when it was brought out but it tasted delicious. I give Palace Indian 5 stars and an A+.

The Mission: Find the Best Indian Food in Broward County. The Reason: I had watched a number of Gordon Ramsay specials on Indian food on Netflix and decided I wanted to find the best Indian food I could find in Broward. The Target: Palace Indian Restaurant. It is on 84 in the mall near Color Me Mine and 84 diner. Hiatus exit off of 595. Looks small from the outside, it is expansive on the inside. A formal dining area and a lunch time buffet/banquet area. Review number 1: The lunch buffet. Pros: I went in and was immediately greeted by friendly staff. I was seated for the lunch buffet service. There were a number of people there for a late lunch, which suggested to me the locals know about this place. I had tried India House earlier so I had a fresh frame of reference. This place blew India House away. Example 1: The Service. It was hot Tuesday so I had a ton of refills of unsweet tea. My server Jason took care of it, no problem and was friendly. They cook great, fresh nan and take it to your table. Example 2: The food. This buffet food was better than two other Indian Restaurants ala carte. Spiciness is set at mild-to-medium. The flavors and the seasoning were the real story. Excellent. Excellent food. Appetizer: I tried as the Veg Pakora. Crispy, not oily. Seasoned well. Flavorful. They had two soup choices that I did not try because I was interested in other food. Lots of great choices. Main course: Kadhai Goat is the constant. I also had the butter chicken, which talking to some others is a favorite of the place. By the time I was done with this place, I thought two things. One, I really want to see how the dinner would be because usually dinners are better than buffets and the buffet blew away what I had at other Indian places in Broward. Two, I wish I was hungrier so I could try more dishes and eat more of this great food. I had found this place through yelp reviews and I want to say that I have gone back to this buffet two other times. Other lunch buffet items I have had at other visits include, the Chicken Tikka Masala which was delicious and sold the person I went to this place with on coming back for dinner. Service: I had excellent service. You can come and go in a time crunch with no problem. There are some reviews here that speak negatively about the service in 2010 and 2009, and I will add that they date back to previous ownership (changed hands to original owners around January 2011). Harry is back in the ownership and the place is running strong and the food is top notch. Zagat just rated them "excellent" so the word is going to get out soon. I had dinner there and it was fantastic. I'll definitely return and to the other reviewers, I would encourage you to try it again.... soon. I recommend it to my friends. Verdict: This is it. The best overall Indian food in Broward. Woodlands in Lauderhill for strictly vegetarian is different and also very good, but for overall Indian fare, this is the best in Broward and some Miami people are telling me they travel to eat there as well. So if you've been waiting for consistent, reliable Indian food, this is your place. I'm turning my attention to the best Mexican food in Broward next.
(5)Heather Y.
The Palace Indian Restaurant isn't the best Indian restaurant but is by far the best in South Florida we have found so far. The buffet didn't offer a lot of different foods but the quality and taste was really good. We are looking forward to going again. The price was a bit expensive but the food was good. We will be back.
(4)Sarah S.
I ate here 3 nights in 1 week and the food and service were consistently good. Actually, it was the best service I have ever had at any Indian restaurant. The owner is friendly and the wait staff are getting to know us.
(5)LJ H.
The restaurant was full which is always a good sign. We ordered a variety of dishes, all definitely the best we've had in South Florida. Service was a little lacking, but the food made up for it. Will definitely go again.
(4)John S.
Best indian im Broward hands down. Great secret place for some fine indian cuisine. Puts royal india in its place. Don't go anyplace other than the palace in Broward county.
(5)The fox x.
I've been to many Indian restraints in many cities. The food here holds up as one of my favorites. Probably the best in the south Florida area. They have had a change in management it looks like but so far the food is still great.
(5)Tami F.
I have been to this restaurant to eat and also gotten take out several times. The food is delicious, but the service Is terrible. I have stood at the hostess station for 10 minutes without one person coming to the front to ask if they could help me. Twice I have ordered take out and had to call the restaurant on my cell phone while standing inside just to get someone to come to the front!!! I would love to eat here because the food is great, but the bad service is way too frustrating!
(2)R F.
This restaurant is incredible. I have been to a few different Indian restaurants that are good or pretty good, but Palace Indian is by far the best. Even if you have never eaten Indian food, if you want to try it out, this is the place to go. Ask for the manager/owner and he will make wonderful recommendations. Definitely try their Papri Chaat and the Delux bread basket of naan. Oh so delicious!
(5)Jack L.
Let me start off by saying that I know zilch about Indian cuisine. Having said that, I found the food here to be delicious. I had the coconut chicken while my better half had the Seekh Kebobs. Basmati rice was served in some traditional looking bowls. Both our dishes were served up on sizzling hotplates. I cannot attest to the authenticity of the flavors but they were definitely satisfying to my pallette. The highlight of the meal was the homemade Indian bread! We got the garlic flatbread and it was absolutely amazing! I ate it bare, I stuffed it with my entree a la pita sandwich, I stuffed it with my girlfriend's entree and all were delicious. The service was terrific. The waitstaff was attentive and effective without being overbearing or disruptive. I will be back to sample some of the other dishes soon.
(4)Ikam A.
The Palace has delicious Indian food and large spacious seating. Great for groups and families, and they have a full bar. Score! The decor is traditional Indian but not as quaint as other Indian restaurants I've been to (Imlee), but there's a time and a place for everything. I love this place because it's closer to the house, and they always have great food and great service. On several occasions, the owner has come out to the table to say hello and ask us how our meal was. Always a nice personal touch. I have tried most of their lamb dishes and have never been disappointed. So delicious! Chicken dishes are great too, and their garlic naan is to die for!
(4)Mark B.
My first time here. I ordered the butter chicken to go. It came with nan bread and salad. I ordered it spicy and to the normal person it probably was but to me it was mild. Besides that the food was delicious and tasty. I recommend this place and the butter chicken. If you like spicy my suggestion would be to ask for extra spicy.
(4)Patrick L.
Ok food. Pretty oily. Strange atmosphere. I think I'll have agita for a week.
(2)Val T.
Horrible Horrible. Poor excuse fro Indian Food. Certainly NOT fresh or "home style" cooking. I get better tasting Food out of a frozen dinner. Service was terrible, the dishes were just thrown out on the table without regard to who had ordered what. Host was rude and looked down upon my friend for ordering her dish mild. Not the way to run a business
(1)B E.
Fantastic Indian restaurant that we've been enjoying for years. They have a very nice lunch buffet if you want to try a little of everything. I highly recommend the Paneer Makhani and the Baigan Bharta (not sure of spellings). Quality/Service could be a bit more consistent, but we've never been disappointed.
(4)Roland S.
It was the best of Indian restaurants. It was the worst of Indian restaurants. Okay, well maybe not to those extremes, but the food was terrific and the service was terrible. I'm not sure I'd return. They have a short but fairly standard list of Indian dishes. Fewer options than other places in Ft. Lauderdale. The quality of the dishes was good. I enjoyed both their chicken vindaloo and the kashmiri naan. The vindaloo had a great flavor in addition to the heat and the naan was very nicely spiced in addition to being sweet. The service on the other hand was a total disappointment. The servers were very slow, didn't communicate well, just kind of threw our food on the table without regard to who ordered what, forgot to bring the side dish that I ordered, and took forever to bring the bill.
(2)Cherry B.
My first time eating Indian food and I decided to give this place a shot. I liked the decor felt like I was in a palace really nice. The service was nice and the waiter was helpful and friendly. The food was okay nothing my taste buds went crazy for it was average for me. I tried the authentic Indian ice cream for dessert and it was good.
(3)Bruce L.
Had the palace feast for dinner. The food was good but the service was extremely slow. Not sure that I would return.
(3)Ian H.
Went there tonight with my wife we both really liked it the food was very good and the service was pleasant and helpful will be back. I would recommend this resturant.
(5)Debbie H.
The Palace is such a hidden secret because it's tucked away in a shopping center behind the 84 diner along state road 84 running parallel to I-595. For the longest time, unless you were aware of this place or were recommended to it, it was something that you would have to slip on because you were in the shopping center. They have since updated their street signage to become more visible along the highway. Having said that, we have been going to the Palace for the past few years and have to say that it is one of the best I've experienced in South FLorida. The restaurant is split into 2 sections for lunch and dinner dining. Lunchtime buffet is served in the left section of the restaurant and has many options to choose from..some traditional and obvious and others unique and add something different to the usual Indian buffet fare. They use higher quality meats, veggies and ingredients in all of their dishes. There has never been a time that i went to the lunch buffet and wished I had picked another day since they keep their choices consistent. The dinner is set in a more intimate setting to the right section of the restaurant. The owner is almost always there at night and will come to your table to give you recommendations based on him wanting to share in his culture. You should take his recommendations without question! We will continue to dine at this restaurant and think you should too!

12/31/14 SO NOT IMPRESSED! The Indian Palace was - Extremely overpriced for very small portions - food was subpar, to say the least and had too much salt. Found them on google - talked my wife into ordering from here - not that I heard any reviews from here, but b/c wife wanted to order dinner to surprise her mother after work and their favorite restaurant was way on the other side of town and I wanted to do something more convenient to get back to the Orange Bowl football game (I know I'm wrong, but at least I'm honest) . .. but I digress. My wife (who's Indian) ordered the "Chef Choice of Mixed Grilled Platter" and was very disappointed in the quality of food, the seasoning (too salty) and how overpriced the meal for two was, $26.45 (plus tip =$30). The gentleman who run up the takeout order was nice . . but that's about it. Moral of the story - if you're looking for better quality and authentic Indian food, try Nirala Sweets in Sunrise, FL. . . you'll thank me for it.

updated review.....So we went for.the buffet on a Saturday, $12.99 per person, it seems like they have reduced the number of dishes on the buffet. The dishes they had were decent, and the service was good. I was just a bit disappointed on the limited number of items on.the buffet. The food off.their menu is very tasty, but pricey for the portion served. Overall, it is not a bad place. I would give it a 3 1/2 star.

I really enjoyed The Palace. I have been here a few times and find the food to be very good and the service as well. I normally don't get fast service in Indian restaurants, I don't know if this is cultural, but I can say this is an exception. The only thing that I would change is the ice tea. It wasn't impressive at all. Would also like to see a vegetable korma on the menu. Keep up the good work.

If you're looking for a delicious diverse flavorful menu within the Indian culture, this is the place to be! Excellent selection, perfect service, and a fresh delight to your palate. The ambiance is prefect and very clean. The staff is very attentive and never miss a beat! I recommend you treat yourself.

GREAT Samosa! Some of the best I have had in Fl. The chicken Tika was amazing. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I will be back!

First experience with Indian food. I expected a bit more flavor and spice to the meals but for a buffet I would say there was a decent selection of items and they were all good. I wouldn't say the food is amazing, but again, for a buffet style lunch it was solid and I enjoyed it. Highlights were the naan, their chickpeas, and vegetable curry. The other items I tried were all 'ok'. I would revisit, but would like to see what other restaurants have to offer (As far as Indian food goes) since I don't have anything to compare this one to.

I used to frequent here when we moved closer to this side of town and was thrilled to have an Indian Restaurant nearby. Food is ok, but the high prices I didn't like. Slow service, and it seems like management has changed hands a few times. Their desserts are pricey...one time my sister ordered Ras Malai and it barely had any milk, and was one lonely piece in the little dish. I completely stopped going to this restaurant, especially discovering a better joint more north of here, with better prices. Haven't eaten here since earlier this year. Update 10-25-14...I was with the fam, and one of them suggested lets go for lunch buffet....had lunch buffet here today and it was pretty good, tasty. $12.99 and there were a variety of dishes (both vegetarian and non vegetarian). Maybe I'll consider giving them another try for dinner. Perhaps they changed owners again or chefs, who knows.

Place is nestled in a big plaza, took several minutes to find it. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and with one naan and the bill was over over $20 just for one dish and one naan! I was disappointed for several reasons: 1. Chicken Tikka Masala is usually made from Chicken Tikka pieces, which are chicken cubes, typically chicken breast. This apparently was not and consisted of smaller pieces of chicken thighs. In this dish, the meat is typically season with Tikka spices, and grilled on skewers, before it is folded into the sauce. However, this was not the case. The taste is about a 2.5 out of 5, but 1 star deducted for not actually being "Chicken Tikka Masala". 2. Portion size is extremely small for the price ($15), and 1 Naan is $3. 3. I ordered "extremely spicy", but what they gave me tasted very mild. I think they gave me a left over portion from their lunch buffet that they had earlier (I ordered at 5:30 p.m.). For an accurate and tasty Chicken Tikka Masala, I recommend trying India House or Indian Chilies.

This is maybe one of the biggest expectation let downs I've had this year. After wanting to try this place for years, I finally got a chance to come in with my aunt for lunch and wanted to try everything. Walking in was awkward as we stood at the entrance unsure if we should seat ourselves or wait to sit. We finally were lead to a bare table ( no silverware, napkins, nothing.) you could see that the place was set up buffet style but the waiter kind if expected us to know where and what everything was. All of this could have been overlooked if the food was good but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I literally put a bit of everything in my plate and the only thing I could say was good was the naam. Will not be returning.

We were greeted by a person with very limited words. The place was empty at about 130pm on a Wednesday . The buffet was limited and looked old. The tandoori chicken was tough like leather. The plain rice was in a cooker that you have to open and scoop out. Food was terrible all the way from the vegetarian dishes to the non vegetarian dishes. Would not eat here again or recommend this to anyone unless they like old stale food that is reheated and reheated and reheated.,

We went on a Sunday for lunch. We had a groupon coupon which we could only use for menu items, so we couldn't try the buffet. The menu prices are extremely high and the qualify of the food only so-so. The buffet really didn't look very appealing when I checked it out, so we didn't miss anything there. We had the butter chicken and chicken tikka massala. The entries are a good size. The service was extremely slow and the waiter never refilled the water or asked if we needed anything. I wouldn't go back again due to the high price, slow service, and the quality.

My girlfriend and I love this place. Since moving to Davie a few months ago, we've been about 8 or 9 times and each time was better than the last. From the vegetarian dishes to the fish to the chicken and potatoes, EVERYTHING is worth trying on their menu. I can't wait to go back again.

I had the lunch buffet. There was a good selection of dishes. Some had the ingredients listed and some didn't. Everything I tried was very good to excellent. Service was good. The atmosphere was different and, well, could be improved. I will be back, as it's the best Indian food I've had in south Florida.

This place sucks period! There's nothing good about this place! The service, the food, the atmosphere everything. This place makes me think twice about going to any Indian restaurant and I'm Indian! The only highlight was a lady kept filling up our waters! Plus it's a rip off for the portions. Seriously the only reason I came here is cause of the reviews and after eating here I'm convinced anyone who says this place is good was payed off or was drugged! Save yourself the money, time, and agony!

After living in New York for the past 2 years, I didn't think any Indian restaurant in south florida could even come close. I was wrong! My boyfriend and I went here for the lunch buffet. The food here was fresh, very tasty , and the naan was piping hot, made to perfection. My favorite was the butter chicken and goat curry. Well worth the 30 minute drive from Miami! We will definitely be dining here again!

First timers; & we loved it. The garlic Nan is DELISH. Chicken Vindaloo was super yummy & don't miss the lamb curry. We will be back.

I've tried a number of Indian restaurants in the area, and this is one of the best. The food is great - and the service exceptional. A hidden gem.

I think the other NYC transplants will agree that Indian food in S. FL is just not that good. This place is A-OK because the samosas were excellent, however, the Chicken Tiki Masala was terrible. They used fatty pieces of dark meat, and the sauce was not spicy. I asked the waiter to have it spicy because you have the option. In fact the sauce had hardly any flavor at all. I am used to a very rich, and tangy sauce. I think they may be using too much yogurt to appease the locals? Would I come back? Yes, but I am ordering a curry next time!

Great food...i mean great, but terrible service. Took forever to get seated and the place was half empty, the server was just not with it at all, saving grace is the food, i guess some places cant have it all.

Not our first time at this restaurant. I questioned myself as to why we went back. The food was mediocre at best, small portions, a bit overpriced for what we got. I had asked for the food to be hot (spicy), it was flavorful but prepared mild. The service: Only one waiter in the whole restaurant. Very poor service. When the food was served, the waiter never returned to the table again. I had to ask the hostess for our check when we were ready to leave. The hostess, Jonande, kept our water glasses full. There are so many better Indian restaurants in the area.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing...the sunday buffet was great. Recommended 100 % .

I can't believe people actually pay to eat here. Every dish I ate was cold. Had to ask for naan, which was finally brought our at the end of our meal. I won't be back.

Good indian food, we'll be back. Decor is old & outdated. Not a fan of buffets so I ordered off the menu.
