Great quality food. Sometimes runs slow when they are busy. Good lunch spot. Food is fresh and delicious. I come here all the time. They have a variety of sauces that you can request to eat with your anything. My favorite dishes are the Tiradito and the Jalea Mixta. Place is clean and they have lots of screens that play music videos and such. At night they turn into a Latin dance club sometimes. Very friendly service.

Another GREAT find! You'd probably drive right by this restaurant being that it's not in the best of areas. It's a pretty run down shopping plaza with plenty of free parking spaces. I was very surprised with the inside of the restaurant, because the exterior paints a different picture. Very roomy and plenty of TV's for your entertainment (7 to be exact). I was greeted immediately and was pleased with the service. For lunch I decided to try the Lomo Saltado which is a great way to measure the quality and skill of a restaurant. Not bad, not bad at all! Everything was very flavorful and delicious, the fries were nice and crispy. The measure of this dish is in the tenderness of the meat. Obviously using a higher quality grade beef will yield a softer more tender cut of meat which they could probably do, but I was very satisfied with my lunch. I was a bit disappointed they were out of Suspiro Limeño which is a typical Peruvian dessert resembling dulce de leche, very delicious. That just means I'll have to come back. The menu is pretty big and the prices were reasonable, give it a try.

See my (incomplete) check-in, but I agree with the other positive reviews: wonderful Peruvian food in a friendly atmosphere. A super blend of spice, flavor, and fun. A fantastic small place you wouldn't expect. This is now on our list of good variety and fun.

Quality food! I pass by this little plaza all the time and never thought a restaurant with such yummy food would be located in there. My boyfriend is Peruvian so we're always trying to find yummy Peruvian places to go and this is definitely a top for us. For beverage, we had chicha morada and it's not the disgusting bottled kind! For appetizer, we has causa con camarones. For the main dishes, we had aji de gallina and carapulcra. And for dessert, well, I can't remember what it was called, but it was kind of purple...? Something with guava...? I don't know, but my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed it. And the carapulcra? Pretty positive this is the ONLY Peruvian restaurant that offers carapulcra. I have spent a fair amount of time searching for places that offer it. We just happened to decide to come here for dinner and we look at the menu and BAM! CARAPULCRA! My boyfriend was very happy. So yes! Food was awesome and delicious and prices are great. Service was also fast. Very nice owners/employees also. I had also ordered lomo saltado and tallarin verde con bistec and both were equally yummy!! Definitely will return here.

This place is good mainly for lunch, the area where is located is not the nicest area, but the quality of food they prepare makes it worth the visit. It's your classic Pop and mom joint, but peruvian style. The Carapulcra ( dry peruvian potato in a peanut sauce and pork) is delicious, not many places have this delicious plate, so if you want to try it you must come here. I also highly recommend the Tacu Tacu con lomo saltado, they use high quality meat for the plates (I think is filet mignon), what makes this lomo special is the combination with the tacu tacu, very flavorful you won't be disappointed, the customer service is class A, very nice people, I gave 4 stars because of the location and lack of good desserts.

A mom-and-pop-and-the-whole-family cafe! Not fancy, but neat and clean, and the food is well-prepared and delicious. I would recommend the Seco de Res, the Tallarin Verde with chicken, and the grilled fish. We didn't try the ceviche.

My coworkers and I have order from Micaela's several times and we have never been disappointed. For one, they deliver which is always a big plus. I have had a few of their typical Peruvian dishes and as a Peruvian I can confirm that they are LEGIT. Everything has been fresh, phenomenal and super affordable. Their lunch specials are great and come with a lot of food. Their fish is always cooked perfect, not too fishy, the papas a la huancaina sauce is on point as well as everything else I've tried (lomo saltado, tamale de pollo, aji de gallina) even their side salad is amazing (sliced avocado what what!). I am continuously impressed with this place!

I came to this restaurant by myself but never felt lonely! There is a nice homely feel to it and I ate while I listened to great Spanish music. The service was excellent and the people were very friendly. I don't have much experience with Peruvian food but the food was quite tasty. On top of that I received a Peruvian cookie that smells delicious! I can't wait to get home and snack on it later :). Overall I'm glad I came here and it will be coming again.

Wonderful food and wonderful service in a neighborhood strip mall that felt a little dicey. Would go again and really enjoyed my meal. However, i would not go alone (I am 63 female) at night. We had a latish dinner 7:30 and by the time we left the walls were shaking (literally) from the music next door. Everything we ate was wonderful. Enjoy

Good place to eat with reasonable prices. it's clean, well lit and the food is authentic. I had the lomo saltado which was good but not the typical flavor. I would have preferred real fries with it rather than freezer to fryer crinkle cut fries but not a deal breaker. The papa a la hunacaina was one of the better ones I've had. Overall good place that I will be returning to.
