All things home. I have been coming to this restaurant since I was about 9 years old, now at 24 years old two kids and a Husband I still come here. I love it here The prices are reasonable and you're treated like royalty. The manager comes around you he remembers you he socializes with you and most importantly the food is delicious. Starting with three bean salad which you will not find anything else like it anywhere. I have not ate a meal there yet that I didn't enjoy. Best Italian place in Florida .The only problem which I can say is the fact that the plates are so large that I can never eat dessert. Thank you Marinos for always providing me the best meal you can for over 15 years. See you soon

Right near the hard rock and a great change of pace. Food is great, very reasonably priced, and a friendly staff(especially the owner Jerry who is always walking around making sure everyone is taken care of).

Great food, you will never leave hungry, and the prices are moderate. The proprietor always stops by my table and chats with me. Highly recommended! Thank you, from David Moadel

Good place to play blackjack at the hard rock. Only $15 minimum for blackjack. Drinks are good too. Just can't bring outside drinks in.

People please don't listen to these positive reviews. Go for yourself, walk in , look at the place and I guarantee , you will walk right out . The truth is I was too embarrassed to get up from the table to walk out. Something that will never happen again. I was so disgusted that I felt sick the rest of the night. Not only is it not authentic Italian food, it's not even decent food. I can't believe that I took my future mother-in-law to this place. The worst restaurant I have been to.

If you're really interested in having excellent Italian food in an extremely casual environment. This restaurant is worth checking out. Everything is home-cooked including the soups. The three bean salad which comes as a complimentary appetizer is the best I've ever had along with fresh baked bread

My parents have been taking me here ever since I remember. We just went the other day and all though it seems a little pricey, it is sooooo good. They time themselves great with all of the appetizers which come with the meals; making it worth the money. You never go with out having something to nope on the whole time. We'll organized, and an enjoyable time every time.

This place wasn't bad. Although it wasn't really something to write home about either. The food was okay. I ordered the veal parmigiana. It came with Cornish hen, garlic bread and bean salad. And the option of soup or salad. I got the soup. My sister in law is a vegetarian who is also gluten free. There was pretty much nothing on the menu for her. Although the staff really did try to find something that might work for her. She ended up with a side salad and a bowl of the bean salad. She is used to eating mostly salads when we go out, so we were a little surprised to not see any salads other than the side salad. It worked, just not really any options. This place has a cozy local feeling. The other customers were loud and chatty with the waitress. At one point my mom had gotten on the phone because her card didnt work at Walgreens and she needed to call chase to make sure they knew we were out of state and so that her card would work for dinner, and for the rest of our trip. The waitress said to us that she has a rule of no phones at the table. I was floored. We wanted to make sure we'd be able to pay for our meal. It wasn't a big deal, but struck me wrong. As someone else mentioned, there are cats outside the restaurant...but my family are all cat people so it didn't bother us at all.

Let's start with the good parts of this restaurant. The staff is friendly and quick to serve you. Unfortunately the good reviews end there. I found the food over price and lacking. The Cornish Hens that were served were dry and bean salad did not taste too good. The garlic rolls were over cooked and the appetizers served taste like they were freezer burnt. The main meal We had was small and covered in sauce/cheese to make it seem plentiful. I considered this Italian restaurant an over priced Denny's . My family ate the following: spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiana, shrimp parmigiana and a small personal pizza. If the expense of a meal, the taste of a meal and fact that the restaurant looks like it should be updated does not bother you, then you found your place to eat.

Went here recently with my family. It seemed like a nice homey Italian Restaurant. Lots of different items to choose from on the menu and pretty decent prices. I ordered the Veal Francaise which is supposed to be an egg battered piece of veal in a sauce made from lemon and white wine. As they served my dish I noticed it had mushrooms on it, the sauce was a brownish color and had a strong wine smell which led me believe they had mistakenly served me Veal Marsala. When I said something they insisted that it was in fact Francaise and that they make their Francaise with Sherry and mushrooms, which I have never seen before. They were a little short with me about it, which made me wonder if they've had this same experience previously. I will say that they offered to make me something else, but at that point my family was already eating and so I just ate what they gave me. Everybody else was please with their meals, which is the reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1.

this is a family place that I have been frequenting for years. They have been in the same location for over 30 years... this is a testament to the good solid food and even better service. salad dressing is homeade. they also sell it by the jar to take home. a four out of five forks place could use a little bit of fixing up

This may have been a great place at one time, but no longer. A free bean salad is not enough to make up for the terrible food and unclean place. I hope that some changes will be made soon to make it great once again.

Marinos is classic Italian "joynt" straight out of a 1970s Rat Pack movie. Chianti bottles on the tables, black vinyl booths and really good food. It's the type of place I grew up while living in Chicago. Just happened across it while traveling through town and staying near the casino. I had the lasagna and my gal had pasta and both were great. Cornish hen and bean salad was nice as a free appetizer. Good prices too, especially for the amount of food they serve. If you're looking for a hipster place, new twists on classic Italian fare, or high prices, hit the nearby casino. If you want solid classic Italian food, check it out.

Cornish hen, loaf of bread, bean salad, garlic rolls, soup or salad.. and those are just the extras! Seriously, I have never seen so much accompanying food to a meal the size of my face in all my life. You think endless tortillas and salsa at your local Mexican joint is a steal, well than welcome to Marinos my friend. I suppose Marinos could be considered a "hole in the wall/hidden gem" kind of place, but its been there for like 40 something years, so by now surely word has gotten around. The restaurant is located in an offbeat location on state road 7 and the exterior leaves some to be desired, but from the inside this restaurant feels quite homey and the staff treats you like family and are really on their game. Marinos offers your typical Italian fare, but there are some note worthy points to make mention. First of all, most meals are made with a meat sauce, such as chicken parm, and if you want regular marinara, you have to specify. As a side to most main dishes, you have your choice of ravioli or pasta, so that's cool. Everything is homemade and fresh. Marinos gets my sister to eat green beans with their bean salad, and the girl HATES green beans with a burning passion but friggen loves this bean salad. My dad commented on the garlic rolls to be the BEST he has ever had during his 53 years. Dinner will run you about 14-20something a person, but the amount of food given is gargantuan. Good for a meal with family or a place to take a date- just remember: you will be so stuffed by meal's end, you best not be expecting some hanky panky later, because you will probably throw up :)

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

What strange place Marinos seems to be, at least to me. Some might think it is "homey," but having about 20 some cats running all around the outside of the place; what is that for? I started off with the seemingly obligatory 1/2 Cornish hen. I can't figure what that was about (appetizer?) but I was half filled up from it when it came to order my entrée. I decided upon the Veal Française. It was served swimming in a sauce but still had an alcohol type of taste to it. I thought the alcohol had to be evaporated off in the cooking. The veal was also a rather thicker in cut making the meal taste chewy. Many say this is real Italian home cooking. Well, maybe that is why I prefer to go out to Italian Restaurants.
