Cafe con leche is delicious here, so are the sandwiches ( a wee bit over priced in my pov).

Great sandwiches. Love it. Operation hours kinda confusing. But good food.

This is the coolest Mom and Pop sandwich place in Davie. On a street that's plagued with disgusting fast food is nice to have a place where my arteries wont be instantaneously clogged, ingredients are fresh and all made right in front, they always have fresh soups, owner is super friendly and remember your name. They also deliver which is great and guys behind the counter are friendly and cute, always with a smile, I love this place, its quaint and charming and glad there a good sub shop in the area :) will most definitely keep returning.

I have been here twice and it's not a bad little place, and the people here are friendly and professional. The interior of the place is cute with booths and TVs set up around the room. You can even sit up front and eat at the front counter bar. They also have tables outside. My first visit I went with the Philly Steak, and it was pretty good, not great. The small filled me up to the point I had to take half with me to go. It wasn't super stuffed, but it seemed just right for me. Today, I went with the "Boar's Club" with the ham, turkey, bacon and provolone. The meat was sliced fresh while I waited, and a few minutes later it was ready. They also use shredded lettuce, which I like very much. My problem here was how little meat was on this sandwich, which is a shame. I love Boars Head, and unfortunately, the bread just really took over the sandwich. They use a really dense roll and it just didn't taste fresh. So, I guess this was a disappointment to say the least. What I ended up doing was taking the filling out of half my sandwich and stuffing it into the other half, so the bread to meat ratio worked better. My recommendation if you come here, is to order double meat, or if your a meat lover, order triple!!! It seems like a shame to me that this little place has so much charm, yet it really isn't going to compete with the other Sandwich shops in the area if it doesn't provide more value to the customers.

I needed a place close to the college because I am so sick of the food on campus. So a friend and I stopped in this little raggedy sub shop. They offer boars head which excites me. The place is so tiny but with an old Davie feel to it. They offer sandwiches, soups, paninis, salads, and little snacks such as jalapeño poppers, chips, French fries, and fried mushrooms! I have been on a health kick because I am going on a cruise in a few months so I ordered the turkey sandwich. I can't remember the exact name, maybe sante fe turkey sandwich, I don't know. It came with a tasty but spicy sliced turkey breast, jalapeño cheese, chipotle mayo, and whatever veggies you want. I like that they offer sweet peppers in addition to green peppers and banana peppers. I got it toasted on wheat. The only thing I wish I could have added was avocado, but I don't think they have it. Other than that, the sandwich really came together well and I would order it again if I didn't like to try new things every single time I go somewhere I've been before. My friend got the BBQ chicken panini with BBQ sauce bacon and ranch. He absolutely loved it and said he would get it again. It looked great in my opinion. The reason I docked a star is because the menu is hard to read. Everything is scattered and it doesn't list the ingredients on any specialty sandwiches. I had to ask the poor guy a million questions and I stopped short because I felt bad quizzing him on everything. The guy was still very nice.

Great location and lot of potential. Over all a really good sandwich. The morning I wend was a Saturday, so not to busy. There was only one person working and he seemed a little overwhelmed. He did well keeping up but you could defiantly see he was a little stressed. The restaurant itself was small, there are only 8 or so tables inside. There is outdoor seating so this helps during rushes. Cleanliness I would rate a three. Nothing bad, just mediocre. I ordered a steak and cheese sub. The sandwich was lightly toasted and delicious. The quality of steak was descent, and the bread seemed fresh, with the light toasting it was actually really good. The only negative run in I had was the temperature, the AC was down and about 85 degrees inside, I can't fault the establishment because this is one of those things that is beyond there control. Good visit overall and good customer service.

Really good sandwich and even better customer service. First time I have ever been in this place but the guy behind the counter was very outgoing and basically ordered my sandwich for me! It was great. They use Boar's Head meat and what appeared to be fresh baked bread. Very good and will definitely go again. Be prepared, it is a small place and there is not much room. If you go during lunch it may be standing room only.

I want to give this place 5 stars, but I just can't. OK, so this is a tiny little place that you would probably never think to stop at. We had recently gotten some coupons at a local parade and decided to check it out. $5 for a sub, chips and a drink..not bad. We walk in and are surprised at the layout of this place. It looks tiny from the outside but inside it's arranged in such an efficient way that there are like 5 little booths and room to walk around. I sat down at one of the booths with my children while my husband ordered, and noticed right away that our napkin dispenser was filthy. Dusty and sticky..this thing looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. I switched it with another, and realized they were all dirty. Luckily, as a mom of 2, I always have wipes handy and just wiped one down. I looked around and noticed dust on a lot of surfaces in the dining room. There was only one employee working today(which is normal for a Sunday), and there happen to be a couple more customers walk in when we did so we ended up having to wait quite some time for our food. Instead of taking an order and making it, the guy took 5 peoples orders before preparing any of them. We didn't mind too much, but having a 3 year old there is only so much time that we can wait before he starts to get impatient. The sandwiches were outstanding. I had a salami and cheese sub on wheat bread and it was delicious. My husband was also happy with his sandwich. I also ordered raspberry iced tea, and It tasted like some cotton candy concoction. Nothing like any raspberry iced tea that I have ever had. It was much too sweet, and I ended up having to get something else. My advice to this place would be a thorough cleaning, and either hire another employee to help out on Sunday, or a faster employee to work alone.

This place is great for subs and their wings are really good! I have eaten there a couple of times and have never been disappointed. They use this bread that is really good and they put a lot of meat and veggies in the subs. I tried their wings for the first time last night and was really impressed. They were awesome and you get fries with the wings which is an added bonus. The only small drawback is that you really can't be in a hurry to get your order. There is this one guy that works there that talks and talks and talks. He mostly discusses politics along with what is going on in his life and it can get a little cumbersome. I kind of feel bad since he is probably lonely as I never really see anyone in this place; however, I don't necessarily want to listen to why Ron Paul should be President and how the gov't is taking all Americans down one-by-one. Great food! Give this place a try.

I was kind of excited to go to Davie Subs; the idea of the small local family owned joint that doesn't have much of an appeal on the outside but is a treasure on the inside. Although it did not turn out to be the treasure I wanted it to be, I can say that it is definitely a family restaurant that the owners take great pride in. As you enter the door, you feel at home and they work to ensure customer satisfaction, which is probably the reason they have been in business for over 30 years. The restaurant itself is very quaint, but they do have a few booths where you can sit and enjoy a comfortable meal. They have a really big menu with lots of options to choose from. I always have trouble making up my mind so it was a bit of a distraction for me, but I did manage to choose something and being the biggest lover of Thai food, I selected the Roast Beef Thai Wrap. I must add that the Roast Beef Thai Wrap was apart of their Boars Head menu. Apparently, they are the only sub shop in Davie that sells the Boar's Head Brand. The Roast Beef Thai Wrap was good but nothing special. It had a little too much peanut sauce and I didn't appreciate the cold refrigerated meat in the sandwich. I don't know if it was because I was expecting something more but I didn't feel like Davie Subs offered me something more than what I could find at any other sub shop, dear I say like Subway. If I went to school in the area (Broward College is next door) or lived or worked in the area, it is worth coming for a quick and affordable lunch, but since none of the above apply to me, sadly, I probably will never be back.

These are great sandwiches. I prefer this locale vs LaSpada's monster subs. The ingredients are quality and they are proud of their product. The sandwich artist was really cool. He cared about making my sandwich just the way i like. I had a 6 inch ham cheese sub with the fixings for 5.49. It was delish. Subways cannot compare with their gross mystery meat . LaSpada might pile them high, but the meat quality isn't there so the subs taste like a sodium filled bread box. It's great to support a mom-pop shop like Davie Subs.

My husband and I went there today. It looks like this little tiny nothing. But actually, it is tiny but delicious. My husband had a club sandwich and I had an open faced roast beef. They have a huge selection of Boars Head deli meats and a bunch of other things. Finally a place in Davie that is actually good. Definitely give this place a shot.

Pretty good Boar's Head subs. They have meat varieties that other sub shops don't. I ordered a 9" sub which cost $7 but it was smaller and had less meat than an 8" Laspada's sub. They have a good $5 combo deal which includes chips and a drink but the sub is a 6". If you need a quick Boar's Head sub, this place isn't bad.
