Our best meal while on vacation. Awesome shrimp tacos.! The view is super boats and people. The service excellent. The grouper basket is the best on the island.
(5)D J.
We stopped in after leaving the beach & decided to try it to pass some time because traffic was backed up. All the employees were very friendly & the food came out fast. My husband & I both had the shrimp po boy w/fries (& it came w/cole slaw). The shrimp were HUGE & cooked perfectly! Overall experience & meal were great! I would have given it 3 stars (not because it wasn't good but because I've had better...in New Orleans of course...lol) but my husband said it was a 4. We'll return again & again!
(4)Lindy K.
Best fish tacos and fresh grouper we've ever had! Casual restaurant and a great waitress! Sat outside at a table on near their Tiki Bar and watched dolphins swim by and the sunset. All made for the perfect dining experience. Thanks Tide Tables, will return for sure.
(5)Laura K.
First time here and we We're not disappointed. Fantastic fish tacos- flavor was out of this world. The staff was super friendly and were helpful and familiar with the menu. It was very casual and you could tell there were local people In for a meal as well as well as the tourists. I will definitely be going back. Those tacos were so good- best I have had in this area by far!
(5)Brad P.
Fantastic customer service and food was just fantastic for a little seafood shack. Tried the gumbo, clam chowder, gumbo bites, and excellent beer choices. Fun visit definitely coming back!

There is something about eating on the water that makes everything taste better. Or so I'm assuming, given the amount of five star reviews on this waterfront establishment. We chose to stop in for lunch on a whim as we headed home from a gorgeous vacation on Anna Maria Island. Tide Tables is conveniently located as you make your way off the island, sitting right on the water, and given the amount of positive Yelp reviews, it seemed like the perfect way to end our trip. The place itself is simple: lacquered high top tables and bench seating on the inside, and picnic tables out back. Seating outside had a 45 minute wait when we arrived, so we opted for an empty table inside. Fortunately, the place is very open, so you still get the feel of eating on the water. We snagged an order of conch fritters for the table, something our NorthWest friends had never experienced, and were pleased to find they were crisp and flavorful. A good portion of our table ordered the fish tacos, since they seem to be what most Yelpers rave about. The fish itself (you can choose Mahi or Grouper) was tasty, although mine was slightly overcooked. The tacos come with a ginger sesame sauce that was a bit overpowering, if not unnecessary. I'd recommend ordering the taco with the sauce on the side, or not at all. Our friends ordered battered fried fish, grilled fish, and a shrimp po boy - and all were quite happy. If you are looking for a nice cold beer to go with your seafood, they have a decent selection, particularly their Cigar City brews, but our waitress didn't mention those choices. You may want to look around for a list of beers/ciders available rather than relying on the waitstaff to rattle them off for you. Overall, it was definitely a pleasant spot to soak up the Florida experience, without feeling overly touristy. Cold beer, fried fish, and plenty of sunshine make it a popular spot, so be prepared to wait if you arrive at peak hours.

What a great local fresh off the docks seafood restaurant. My third time eating here & the first two times I had the grouper sandwich that's the best in the area but this time i tried the Maui fish tacos and they were really good with a hint of Asian sauce. The others at the table had a variety of food, shrimp poor boy, seafood platter and grouper sandwich and everyone loved their food. The waitress was a local who was very attinative to out large party. It's a hidden treasure tight over the Cortez bridge from Anna Maria Island

Now this is what I want when looking for a waterside seafood joint! Good food, great service and hospitality plus a comfortable venue with a view. First, the food. You can't go wrong with the combo platter with scallops, shrimp and we substituted for grouper. Yum! Fries were definitely tasty. My son had the grouper sandwich that was great. The other kids had chicken strips....it was the one item that could have been better (perhaps thicker strips to be more moist or don't know of it is the fry oil taste from seafood) that the kids complained about. Fish tacos were amazing though for classic fish taco folks, some may not like the teriyaki seasoning. Second, the service. The owner Bob introduced himself and made us comfortable while he figured out whether the nearby rain situation would be a problem for our outside seating. Our server was real pleasant, helpful and attentive. I can see why there are lots of regulars sitting at the outside bar. Looks like the storm was not coming this way, so we were good to feast! The drinks. Cigar city brews and other craft were on a table side list. Other drinks on the regular menu. Soft drinks have one refill. Perfect for the kids. The view. Sitting outside with the fans going keep us both cool and the flies away. The dockside space was relaxing! Parking can be limited when it gets busy but they directed us to the perfect spot. Glad to have found this place. We definitely will be back!
(5)Diane W.
Mediocre! Service was fantastic ...food was mediocre. Had conch fritters (not bad but have had better) and grouper cakes with salsa (a little better). I would probably come here again although prices are a little high based on quality...but then again...you're in a tourist area.
(3)Jared B.
Best seafood in the area! Atmosphere is very casual and prices are very good for the quality of food. we would highly recommend to anyone.
(5)Paul P.
The fried grouper was wonderful. French fries were ordinary, coleslaw was good but nothing special. Waitress was pleasant and efficient.
(4)Mandi W.
The food is faaaaantastic!! I ordered the Fish tacos. You receive three by the way! And it came with either veggies and Cole slaw. Very yummy. Can't complain! The server was excellent and gave many pointers as to what to order, and even gave us pointers on what beaches to go to next. I couldn't ask for better food and better server. I will go back!
(5)Karen K.
Fantastic place to relax with a beer and tasty food. View out to the water is lovely. Owners are super friendly and prices are totally reasonable for an independent restaurant serving fresh food.
(5)Michael B.
You can get to the restaurant by land or sea! Day time is much better if you want to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the waters of Cortez. The seafood is as fresh as it can be! Larger and smaller portions are available...which helps the empty wallet! You will not find Long John Silvers prices here...but you will not regret the cost! We had the sampler...sea scallops, shrimp, and mahi mahi. We chose to get them blackened...great choice! This place would also be great to kick back and enjoy some adult beverages while watching the boats go by. The service was very attentive and eager to make our experience a great one. Good times!
(4)Kristin K.
Really enjoyed this place. We came here after we realized that Starfish Co. wasn't handicap accessible. Tide Tables is accessible if you are sitting outside. The patio was awesome! It sits overlooking the marina. They had a good craft beer selection which was something I wasn't expecting. A great bonus! The service was friendly and quick as it was around 1:30pm. 3 of 4 of us got the Grouper sandwich. It was very good! Would definitely come back!
(4)Joanne C.
Fish tacos and peel and eat shrimp are the best ever. Don't miss this place if you are around Cortez. Besides the food the view is to die for.
(5)Amanda A.
We stopped to have a snack, drink and sit outside with our yorkies. Perfect! Chill ambiance overlooking the marina, big bar and friendly patrons. We spilt grouper bites-so fresh we were considering ordering another. The couple next to us did just that! Great spot to relax and feel like you are a million miles away.
(5)J A.
Great casual Florida seafood restaurant and experience. 2nd best fried shrimp we have had in the state. Caesar salad dressing is made in-house and is delicious. Con- the benches inside are not comfortable but they do not mind if you are still carrying sand on you from nearby beaches.
(5)Tom P.
Fish tacos beyond awesome. Grouper was as fresh as you can get. Outside dining with a view. Relaxed beach atmosphere with table sharing.
(5)Ellie S.
OK! We'll be coming back to Tide Tables! Apparently they opened just a year ago, and seem to be an instant success. And we can see why. Excellent food and great service! Atmosphere is very casual. Indoor seating is at high top tables. Outside is picnic tables along the dock. Service is very attentive at both locations. My husband had the Jambalaya and said it was excellent. I had the grouper tacos, and they were among the best I've had. The sesame ginger sauce on the blackened grouper is a very nice combination. Sides were good. Collards are nicely done. Not overlooked and not bitter. And Strawberry shortcake....homemade shortcakes and the strawberries have just a touch of nutmeg. Yummy end to a great meal. Not sure of their hours. They closed at 8:00 on a Tuesday night, so if you want to enjoy this great food, don't wait too late! Congratulations, Tide Tables on your upcoming 1 year anniversary and your great success. We'll see you again soon!
(5)Sarah S.
Everything about this place is fabulous. The host and servers were awesome. I had the fish tacos, which were amazing. My husband's mahi mahi was incredible. We ate outside and watched the sunset behind the boats. A perfect evening.
(5)Tom R.
Good folks...good eats...cold beer...VERY FRIENDLY!!!! Pet friendly out back in the gazebo. Average price for a the area. Fresh catches are served. Scenery was waterfront views. We definitely will be going back before we go home. Parking is at a minimum like everything here.
(4)Quinn S.
Found this gem of a place while driving around exploring Bradenton, FL. Unbelievable food with beach front views. Staff was beyond friendly from the moment I walked in the door. Highly recommend the gumbo and depending on the specials that day I would go with the grouper cheeks! Also probably one of the most eclectic places to grab a beer in the area. The Bartender Jesse has an excellent knowledge of brews that will have you wanting to taste the whole beer list.
(5)Cheryl R.
Best shrimp po boy I've ever had. Fresh sweet shrimp fried to perfection on a delicious roll, crisp lettuce and remoulade with tomato and onion. Yowza. Add the homemade hot sauce in moderation for a special treat. Great prices and ice cold beer.
(5)Michael M.
On a marina, sunshine, outside and great food, and cold beer. What else is needed? Had a small order of blackened scallops and a cup of black bean soup. My wife had fish tacos. All were outstanding. Wish it wasn't so far away.
(5)J S.
Great casual fish camp atmosphere. Fresh a and tasty seafood. Excellent servers. Dined Dec 2014 while on vacation.
(5)Tom A.
There are several great old Florida seafood "dives" in Cortez Village and Tide Tables is one of these. Food is well prepared and consistently tasty. Ask what came off the boats, which are right outside the windows, today. You can't go wrong. Service is always good, prices are good. The place is always busy. Go on a nice day to sit outside. The only negative it that the indoor seating is very uncomfortable.
(4)R M.
Took my family to tide tables for lunch today. It was our first time. We came by boat. Found a slip with almost no waiting. We chose to sit inside in the air conditioning. Jessie greeted us almost immediately and brought us ice cold beer. The blackened mahi sandwich is fantastic! It came with a homemade roumelade that added the perfect amount of spice. My son had a chicken sandwich with mango barbecue sauce. He looks like he could've eaten three. This is our new go to spot for fish sandwiches.
(5)Brenton C.
Best fish tacos in the history of fish tacos. The atmosphere is beautiful. Scenic views of the Cortez bridge and intercostal. The staff is supper friendly. Always a treat...
(5)Elizabeth J.
Not enough food for dinner, but pretty good overall. Nice waitstaff, laid-back and casual atmosphere. Food was a little pricey for the portion, but fresh and tasty. Didn't like that refills weren't free and there are very few items on the menu in general. I would probably come back but for lunch and when I'm not quite so hungry!
(3)Jin L.
First time to the restaurant. We like that we could sit inside with air conditioning. Server was attentive and sat us quickly. The place is like any other gulf side place but could tell they were working hard to keep people happy. Now the food. Grouper bites were a little bland and the tarter sauce did not help, also bland. Tried the Seafood Plate that had shrimp, Scallops and Mahi. I substituted the Mahi for grouper which cost another 7 bucks. I wish I could say it was worth it but the Grouper was cut thin and lacked the meaty consistence I'm used to, it almost felt like it was under cooked. The shrimp I have to say was good well grilled and tasty. The Scallops again tasted a little under cooked and was small. I think the Star Fish cafe has better food when you can get served and you're not inconveniencing the staff for being there. I like the people here better but the food was average at best. We had Key Lime pie for dessert and although good I would not say it was the best I've ever had. I reserve that to Maxie's in Milwaukee Wi.
(3)Linda B.
Blackened grouper sandwich and a beer with a view of the bay and table service too. What's not to love. Definitely making Tide Tables our new annual stop.
(3)Carol U.
I judge a restaurant by their fish tacos. This place gets a thumbs up!! They are very good with large pieces of fish, and the baked beans are also awesome! The scallops were cooked just right too, a plentiful serving. Not too many local places left on the water a real gem!!
(5)Dustin C.
Best fish tacos hands down I've ever had ever. If you like spicy make sure you get some of their hot sauces to put on your fish. And if you like craft beer they have 4 of Cigar City's signature brews. That Jai Ali and Fish tacos go hand and hand. They've been getting new craft brews lately but nothing very good like Abita and some other not so good brewery's. Only thing I would suggest is they keep getting good stuff like Cigar City. Love this place though, the management and staff are extremely nice.
(5)Janet P.
We really loved this place. It's casual and really captures the spirit of an old school Florida fishing village. The bartender Jessie was absolutely fantastic. Great customer service. The food was outstanding.clam chowder full of fresh clams creamy and delish, grouper tacos amazing, and fried grouper bites so good we had to order a 2nd order. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this little unassuming fish shack.
(5)Gavin F.
This was the best grouper ever! My dad loved the tacos. This place was the best! My uncle said that the beans where great. This really deserved 5 stars!
(5)James S.
Gouper!!!!!!!!!!!!! This Place is it, Fresh right off the boat everyday, I love the Fish Taco's also.....just great! They make their own hot sauce, very nice! The view is a 10 plus, just sitting at the outside bar and having a beer watching the sun go down, reminds of that song, Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay , don't miss this one!!! everyone is nice and all the things I order from the menu have been great.. I always enjoy talking with guest here....This is my go to place for Grouper sandwich, Fish Taco's & French Dip. You Might hear Otis Redding - Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay :) (million dollar view) To: Matthew T. --Review below me, I have had the Grouper Sandwich 4 times now (@Tide Tables) and I have never thought it was in your words (like easting a salt lick) I hope you told a MGR or someone about this! ...the fish they serve, if your a real food critic you should be able to tell its fresh from the Gulf , That it doesn't come off of a truck....About the Beers , they do have craft beers that are made in Tampa also, which are very good, but they do have Stella on tap and Bud w/frosty mugs! I go for the Fish, not the Beer. I like my diet coke, but I have had the frosty mug of Stella, its nice! P.S. to the so Called Elite Food Critic (Matthew T.) (354 Reviews) Notice Folks , he was the only one to give this restaurant 3 stars, I notice also he cant spell, like easting(eating) or being (buying) Looks like he needs a (real) Job and learn how order a beer in a casual rest (this isn't the Chateau Louise Restaurant, its better, has a nice view. My 2 cents, I have owned a few catering business's and the food business is never easy, so my Hat is off to the owners (Bobby & Gwen) they run a great restaurant , is it perfect? I'm sure that's their Goal, but they would be the first ones to tell you its not, but we need food critics that are kind and tell the owner or mgr what is wrong, so they can fix it or at least have a chance to make the customer happy...I didn't see one time in his review, that he spoke to a mgr or owner....looks like he was to busy typing his review and taking a pic of his great looking lunch he had! the only one with 3 stars and a pic of the food! Hmmmm! makes me think! (your full of Chit) I will believe the avg. joe reviewer before I believe some Elite Full of Chit Yelper!!!
(5)Elizabeth C.
Such a low key, relaxing place. The service and food was great. The bar/deck out back has a great view of the intercoastal where we watched dolphins play for hours! I live on the island and this is my new favorite place!!
(5)Ginny M.
Fish tacos are a must! Grouper is delicious too. Fun little hang out spot by boat or car. We found this spot when boating in Sarasota. We will definitely be back! Also, try the Category 2 hot sauce......got a bottle of that to go. Yummy!!!
(4)Justin M.
Quit reading and go get the fish tacos right now!! They will change your life! Thank me later. Dont forget the number 5 hot sauce
(5)Dawn M.
Best seafood in the Bradenton Beach area! Relaxed atmosphere with wonderful courteous staff. A must pitstop for visitors who love to relax by the water and enjoy a great meal!
(5)Chris D.
The food was great the atmosphere is beautiful. This restaurant is owned by the same owner as the star fish I believe so you know your getting quality.
(5)M A.
Had a wonderful experience here today! Superb service (didn't catch the server guy's name, but can say he was a younger guy), showed a lot of patience with me while I chose my beer, letting me sample a few draft selection before finally deciding. Started with the peel & eat shrimp, fish tacos for main dish (we had the mahi-mahi blackened) and concluded the meal with the homemade key lime (so goooooood). Hands down, the most fish I have seen on three tacos. Also, I am a hot sauce junkie and was pleasantly surprised to learn they make a few in-house...my fave, Category 5-delish. Did I mention, the view? Pelicans, boats, water lapping the small boat launch next to the seating area. We will definitely make the trip over the ol' Skyway to dine here again.
(5)Stanley N.
Good atmosphere on waterfront with pet friendly outdoor area. Mahi sandwiches and tacos were perfect. Quick service.
(4)Patricia L.
This place is perfect for casual dining. Sit out on the deck, and watch the water and the boats. Music from the speakers is at just the right volume. The food is terrific. I particularly recommend the fish tacos and the key lime pie.
(5)Lindsay H.
This place is great! Went for lunch over Memorial Day weekend and had great food and cold beers and the best view you could ask for. The fish tacos were perfect-- blackened, with just the right amount of toppings and sauce. The grouper sandwich was the best I've had and I have tried them all many times-- and I take my grouper sandwiches seriously! The fish was fresh, lightly breaded, and the portion was generous. The staff and owners were all very friendly and down to earth. I think I found my new favorite in Cortez!
(5)Pallas K.
Best fish tacos in town. This place is locally-owned and I love going there by boat. Awesome local spot
(5)Angela R.
Great grouper bites. Homered hot sauce was great. Service was very attentive and efficient. Barbara was our waitress and she explained the special where we chose the gumbo which was better than had at New Orleans. Definitely a place to return to when in the area. Good came way quicker than starfish. Try them.
(5)Maly S.
Great grouper Sammie. Added the homemade hot sauce #5......soooo good. The grouper filet was a good size too. Husband ordered the grouper tacos, hello yumminess. Local beer is served as well. Will definitely come back.
(5)Geoff J.
Stopped by for dinner during a night where it looked like a storm was on its way in. Got sat immediately outside. Good food, Fish tacos with ginger were really good. Meal comes with a good bit of fries. Lots of places in the area with food like this. But this is worth the stop.
(4)Hannah C.
I stopped by this amazing place after getting frustrated with the crowds on Anna Maria island. What a pleasant surprise! $10 pitchers of beer, spectacular fish tacos, and a water view on top of it all! I couldn't ask for much more. The outside tiki bar was a nice place to relax, and they also had an inside section with a/c if you want to get out of the heat. I can't wait to go back.
(5)Marion P.
Tide Table is right beside the Cortez bridge onto Anna Maria island. It is small, friendly and casual. Food is fresh, reasonably priced and the place is popular with locals, always a good sign. Fish tacos (3 of them) were very good, and fries are well seasoned. The cole slaw could use a bit of spice and more moisture but was benign enough for the mildest palate. Parking is at a premium, so take your smallest vehicle and carpool. (I much prefer this to the Star Fish Restaurant, another local fish joint in Cortez, because you can sit and be served here, instead of standing in line to place your order. And the food is just as good here.). My only criticism is that the on-tap beer is very small, but for. $2.50, I guess that's okay. Our table was away from the water, and the flies were a bit of a problem since there wasn't any breeze. The fly trap was full-- a sign they need more of them!
(4)Leah M.
Amazing fish tacos. The best I've ever had. Just the right amount of everything. They have soy/ginger sauce that makes you never want to stop eating. The shrimp po boy is pretty awesome too. Fresh seafood, cool view, friendly staff and good drinks- only downside of this place is they do not sell liquor.
(5)Matt P.
Owners were on-site and visited our table several times...extremely nice and accommodating! Food was excellent and a great value. Owner noticed my Groper portion was smallish she he brought me another filet...and I didn't even ask for it! We ordered: Blackened Grouper dinners, Grouper Tacos, Shrimp Po Boy and Ribs. All was excellent...ribs were fall off the bone perfect, shrimp were fried just right and fish was fresh ( blackening spice could use more red pepper?) Service was great. Very personable and grounded. We will be back!
(5)Brye G.
Tide Tables is my absolute favorite restaurant in Bradenton. It has an unbeatably scenic location right on the water, a brilliant list of craft brews and it's excellent value for the money. Not to mention their AMAZING food! The grouper bites & mahi tacos are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Im drooling just thinking about them! Head to Cortez for quality seafood, a great view, and affordable prices. It's unbeatable!
(5)Charles D.
Went for lunch. Very average, in every way. Not gross, but not good either. Very, very average. Got peel and eat shrimp. They were served cold. Really cold. As in they probably cooked them yesterday and put them in the fridge. They were ok, at best. Very mediocre. For my meal, I got blackened mojo chicken. It was nearly burned. It was ok, but really over seasoned and dry. The fries were nothing special, at all. Freezer bag fries. Not great. Surprisingly, the best thing we for was my kid's chicken chicken nuggets. They were good. Biggest downside -- EXPENSIVE. Lunch for one adult and two kids was $40 w/ tip. Not worth it. I won't go back, and I would discourage you from going. Try somewhere else if you're looking for good, local seafood.
(2)Suzanne W.
Loved this joint!! So casual AND delicious. Great fried mushrooms and fried grouper bites for appetizers and their fried shrimp was some of the best I had in the area. Can't wait to go back next time we're in town! Shout out to Jesse for being a great bartender that knows how to order good beer. :)
(5)Lysandra S.
I loved. The best fish platers in Brandenton. Try grouper witch Stella cider cidre.
(5)Chris M.
Overall - just ok. We visited while on vacation. We were looking for local, fresh seafood. Tide Tables is exactly that. While there was nothing terrible about our experience, there was nothing stellar either. We started with Grouper bites. For the price tag, portion size was rather small. The freshly caught, freshly cooked grouper was tough and chewy. My wife got the fish tacos, portion size was large, and flavors were good. I got the Sea Scallops. They were well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. My primary complaint with these types of restaurants (locally caught fresh seafood) continues to be the price. When "meh" grouper bites, the lunch portion of sea-scallops, fish tacos and a kids cheese burger, run you just shy of $70, it just doesn't feel right. Pair that with outdoor dining on picnic tables, and bland service and I just can't bring myself to steer anyone in the direction of Tide Tables. The price, food and experience simply don't add up. Try if you like, can't say I recommend it.
(3)Olivia D.
Great casual and friendly atmosphere! This place is located right off the water and offers indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress told us Tide Tables is most famous for its shrimp and grouper so our party split two combo baskets (shrimp, scallops, and Mahi and Mahi. You can upgrade to grouper for $4.) We got one of the baskets fried and the other blackened. Both were delicious! We had one non-seafood eater so she got the mojo chicken with slaw and homemade barbecue baked beans. They tasted so good! Everyone at our table was happy and satisfied. I highly recommend if you're in the area to check out this place! The only downside? No sweet tea. That's always a "bummer" in my book.
(4)Amy H.
Wow - what an impressive first visit. Our group of six arrived early for dinner on a week night to beat the crowds and were quickly seated at a picnic table outside. No frills, just casual, dockside dining. Our waitress was friendly and explained their specials. She arrived with our drinks quickly - two wines, two beers and a couple of soft drinks for the kids. We ordered the Cajun grouper bites to share as an appetizer...perfectly seasoned and fried grouper bites with a tartar and Cajun sauce. Very flavorful with the perfect hint of space. Our dinner orders included two grouper baskets and one grilled shrimp basket. The grouper was perfectly seasoned and grilled - the best we have found in the area. The fries were nothing fancy, but perfectly crisp. The cole slaw was basic, but we'll done. Our waitresses offered the homemade key lime pie for dessert, but we were too full. Definitely on the small side, but friendly and inviting. Go early and sit outside. It will be on our must visit list when we are back in town!
(5)Ozzy F.
Delicious food and well chosen selection of craft beer. Jesse behind the bar was excellent at making us feel right at home.
(5)Adam M.
This was the hottest, largest sized, and freshest plate of fried shrimp that I have ever had. As we bit into our shrimp, you could see steam. So fresh, so quick, and so tasty. The service was great. If you dig Star Fish, you'll dig this place too.
(5)Rodrigo M.
Ery good place to eat fish, mahi, grouper etc. Fried backend or grilled with beans fries or something else they all taste very good.
(4)Roz H.
The fish tacos were tasty with the sauce having a great snap to them. Three tacos to the order. The burgers are cooked to order so my medium rare was just that. The menu is heavily seafood, and of course it is, you're right on the water. Great IPA beer selection and four different hard ciders with Stella's coming on to tap soon. Laid back atmosphere with boats pulling up and guests disembarking to eat here. Everyone seems to know the bartender, Jesse! Folks leaning against the outdoor bar in their swimsuits and flip flops! Lots of fun. Pelicans lurking nearby for when the fresh fish are cleaned!
(4)Cristina T.
I loved this place!!! It's on the water so it's really pretty views if you sit outside. The service was nice and attentive. I had the fish tacos and they were soooo delicious and very flavorful. I would definitely go back for those!
(4)Heather E.
Eat here!!! By far the best grouper sandwich I have had in awhile!! I am going to try their famous fish tacos next time! I will be adding this place to my favorites!
(5)Trevor W.
Service was spot on--polite and on point. Food was solid (if you like Starfish, you'll like this). Fried mushrooms app A+. Shrimp basket delish. Bartender Jessie was great. And looks like Bradley Cooper (from American Sniper, not American Hustle). Cheers.
(4)Steve B.
Good food, good atmosphere and cold beer. This place never disappoints and they have recently expanded but not sure if they are adding seats to the new area. It's right off the bridge on the right side if your'e leaving the beach. A lot of the locals who live in the community down the road come here to relax and have fun talking, it's a real nice calm place to have a drink and eat well.
(4)Jeff J.
Lunch for 6. - Ambiance (5/5) Outdoor picnic tables right on the water, with a dude in the background cleaning grouper next to his boat? Hell yes! - Service (5/5) Speedy, courteous, and accommodating. You can't ask for more. - Blackened Grouper Sandwich, $12 (5/5) Super fresh fish, toasted bun, mmm delicious. The fries were also a nice surprise. Not at all tasting like the frozen crap they serve you at other places. - Value (5/5) No frills place with no frills pricing. - Final Word Loved it. Some places with amazing views just rely on those views and serve passable food. Tide Tables delivers on both fronts. Slam dunk-- would totally come back.
(5)Rachel T.
Heard from everyone on the island for the last few years that this is the best place for fish tacos. Was not disappointed!!!! Best Mahi Fish Tacos ever! Husband had blackened Mahi sandwich which was also good, but devoured one of my tacos. Will be returning.
(5)Joey Y.
Once again Love it. Just a bowl of gumbo and a couple beers. Very nice Nice view and good friends
(5)Gina H.
We had grouper bites and peel and eat for appetizer, grouper sandwiches, scallops, and fish taco for dinner! All amazingly awesome! The food is great tasting and large portions. The service is great! Highly recommend!
(5)Kristin H.
Love this spot! Best fish tacos I've had since moving here! Always fresh and flavorful. The seating is a little awkward - not always a fan of barstool setups. But the service is great everytime. Oh...and the key lime? Get it!

What a surprise! Went with a friend because someone told her about it. Found it to be a really small building on the water. Had the best and freshest grouper (I had fried, hers was grilled), ice cold craft beer. Can't wait to go back with my husband!

This place was hopping, even though we thought we got there early for dinner on a Friday evening (~5:45). Looked like all of the outdoor seating was full, but we found a table inside without a wait. The indoor dining area is small, but it appears they get the most out of it, and the closeness inside lends positively to the atmosphere, as it felt like everyone, employees, diners and especially the people at the bar were enjoying themselves. Service was extremely helpful and friendly, food came fast. Everyone loved what they got, around the table we got the Shrimp Po-boy, the Grilled Shrimp, the Grilled Combo Basket and the Grilled Grouper. Everything was perfectly cooked, it was clear that whoever was working the grill has serious experience in grilling fish. The menu might have been relatively simple, but they absolutely do what they do right. At the end of the meal, there were four clean plates, including the ones in front of our 11 and 10 year olds. Only compliant we got at the end of dinner was from the 10 year old who regretted ordering the "low tide" (smaller) portion! Not sure when we'll be back, but we will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely amazing. We were looking for some fresh seafood and tried to go to Star Fish Company but it was closed due to Memorial Day. So I yelped something nearby and come up with Tide Tables. We definitely came to the right place. We sat at the bar right on the water and the server was super friendly- he definitely deserves a raise! As soon as we walked in and asked about the local beers on the menu we were offered a free drink! In addition to the few beers on the food menu they have a whole other beer menu with some pretty interesting stuff. We ordered some beers and then moved on to the food. There were two of us and we ordered the grouper bites, fish tacos and scallops to share. Everything was absolutely amazing- super fresh and flavorful. This was our last stop on the way to the airport from our weekend in Florida and I would have to say the best meal of the trip. After we paid the check the server even gave us free koozies! I can't believe we almost went somewhere else.... I highly recommend this place and tell everyone about it. They have only been there about a year so get the word out!!

Known for their fresh Grouper caught daily! We had cajun grouper bites, grouper tacos and grouper sandwich ....all blackened, all excellent! Great craft brews on hand and both their key lime and Pina colada awesome, fresh and scratch made. Take a pass on the "gumbo" Great spot!

The Fish Tacos are so good I always have to order them but ALL of the fish is super fresh and perfectly cooked. Great service always too. And the view is perfect.

This place was amazing! Best fresh seafood so far. I had scallops and they were cooked perfect! Sides were great and the beer was ice cold. Service was excellent and we sat outside and watched the dolphins play out in the water.

This marina-side spot captures what I personally consider the essentials of coastal Florida home cookin': fresh fish prepared the way I want it, served quickly, and at a very reasonable price. As our party exited the restaurant after a wonderful meal, one of the owners caught up with us and proudly displayed one of the fresh groupers Tide Tables is famous for. It made for a great photo op and memorable memory!

Had the Mahi Mahi and my husband had the Grouper, both very good. I didn't get a chance to try many places in that area and compare but what we ate here worth it.

No complaints whatsoever. I am a little picky and I really had nothing negative to say. Wait staff did great. Our waitress was Virginia. Definitely good. Seafood was fresh and the surroundings were awesome. No complaints. We had service for 6 so it wasn't an easy service. Very good. I went to yelp to see where to go and glad I did.

A great local place. The food is very fresh but can be a bit pricey. I love going here after a long day at the beach with my friends. Even my picky mother loved it here and can't wait to come visit me again so we can go back.

Amazing! I had grouper bites and my husband had the blackened grouper sandwich with fries. My bites were the best I've ever had. I don't like the fishy taste, but these were obviously fresh and didn't taste fishy at all. My husband really liked the blackened grouper and I thought his fries were really good as well. The service was excellent. Mike was our server and he was fast, friendly, and full of good tips! I wish I had listened and tried their homemade hot sauce, as I've seen other reviewers liked it. They also had Yuengling, my favorite beer and Mike was right on top of it, never letting us go dry. The outside is right by the water and the atmosphere is one of a local hang out. Just really an enjoyable experience all around! We WILL be back and will bring visiting family here as well.

My new favorite seafood place. Very fresh fish, casual atmosphere, and great service. We will be back!

As an islander, Tide Tables has, and will always, be our "go to" place for fresh right off the boat seafood. But as an avid fisherman, diners should know that Tide Tables will actually cook your catch for you to your liking (grilled, blackened, fried, etc.) for a very reasonably price of $10 per head, including sides (fries, slaw, beans). Just last Friday, we took six hungry men and several gallon bags of speckled trout filets and the end result was just out of this world! Hint, ask for grilled tortillas, cheese, sauce, etc and you can make your own fish tacos! So if you are visiting, go out with a fishing guide and have fish you want to feast on, take them to Tide Tables!

I just moved to Bradenton from Seattle and have found many great restaurants - which is amazing in this small town! Tide Tables is one of my top favorites now. The Grouper salad spread app is amazing, the grouper dinner was the best I have had and our waitress Staci was a true delight. Thank you Staci and Tide Tables! Oh....and the tarter sauce was the best I have ever had - anywhere. Sadly, when we left (very happy) we found that someone had hit my car and had driven off. No fault of this great fish camp style restaurant - but I do hope they get coal in their stocking :-) If it was you, by chance, ya'll owe me $80...

Mmmm, great fish tacos! It was about 92 and pretty humid when I visited. I sat outdoors at the bar facing the ICW. There was a nice breeze off the water, the fans were blowing and the view was beautiful. I was completely comfortable, could have sat there all day. I had the fish tacos of course. They are made with blackened mahi on flour tortillas with coleslaw, a little cheese and some sauce. The sauce tasted a lot like hoisin sauce which is a great idea and it's delicious on a taco. It appears as though they cook the tacos on a griddle once they're made, to crisp the tortillas and melt the cheese. Very nice! They come out piping hot too as a result. The dish came with three tacos, pretty generous for the price. It also had 2 sides included, I ordered coleslaw and baked beans. Good slaw but the baked beans were a standout. Really nicely done, taste homemade. A dining companion had the coconut shrimp. They were enormous, I didn't get to try one but was told they were great. They serve Cigar City beers, good stuff. The service was very good, the family running the place does a great job. Great view and location, and if you like fish tacos I think you'll really like them here.

What a place! Such a great meal with amazing fresh seafood and the MOST amazing Key Lime Pie. Would highly recommend the fried shrimp and the fish tacos, so delicious. Had great, fast service and perfect location on the bay. Outside seating was full so we sat inside which was still great. If it hadn't been our last day of vacation, we probably would have eaten here more than once!

Fantastic seafood and service!. My wife and I ate outside at 12:30 pm. No issues with finding seating. It was hot but the umbrellas, fans, and breeze made it comfortable. We had the fried grouper (fresh!) and the fish tacos. The tacos were tasty but I prefer mine with corn tortillas not flour. Beer was very reasonably priced! Would definitely return when back on island.

Excellent dining and atmosphere, I grew up in the Sarasota, Bradenton area all of my life, Keith

Tide Tables is a gem among tourist traps offering fresh seafood at the price it deserves. The atmosphere is casual and close to water--a premium view, too. The server was very friendly and looked like he came to work a shift after a relaxing time on the beach. Perfect for a pre-beach lunch, methinks.

Awesome food and atmosphere. The prices were good and the service was equally as good. We sat at the bar and had a picture perfect view of the water.

Very accommodating. We brought in our own caught fish, they cooked it and an amazing result. Both blackened and fried were done to perfection. The best I have had in FL. I took my spouse there the next afternoon and their fresh grouper was again a hit. Hey, it ain't George's Cinq in Paris...but the fish is better!

Live in Texas, driving through.... searched a good seafood place to eat for dinner. Found The Starfish Company but they closed at 3pm on Sunday and Monday & told us about their sister resturant, Tide Tables. Was packed, and for obvious reasons. It's on the water, great food and service! !! We sat at the bar to eat dinner because it would have been an hour or more wait and the manager offered us the bar. The bar tender, Louie was fantastic. The atmosphere is perfect. Indoor & outdoor seating. They bring in fresh fish daily. They do not take reservations, it's first come first serve seating, but they have plenty of staff to cover the popularity. Will be back! !!!

Can't say enough. What a FIND. The grouper is right off the boat FRESH. We saw them cutting the fish on the dock. The bar had an amazing view. It looks like a fish shack dive and it is. Worth the trip. Grouper salad is fabulous.

Not sure I sent to the same place as the 5 star reviews. Just typical and that might be generous. When I went, it was a nice week day around lunch time. Asked about the beers, got a disappointing list of what is on tap, and asked about bottles, and was shown the menu. But turns out they have other "good" beers just written on a calk board, can't help but wonder why they did point those out when I obviously turned my nose up to the "Bud, bud light" litany of usual. That is not a huge issue, just disappointing and a lack of training. What is it with places in this town where non of the staff knows what they have? Or only the "easy" parts? Went with the Mahi sandwich blackened for food. Looked promising when it came out, but one bite and it was like easting a salt lick. Either they need to rework their blackening blend, or stop being it form a distributor or remember you don't need to add more salt when you have it already in the blackening seasoning. A bit of tarter sauce covered it up. At the last the fish was still moist, but a salt lick fish sandwich is lucky to get 3 stars never mind the raves other people are having. You are only as good as the last meal, so the saying goes. Maybe it was an off day, or the B team was working but not in a hurry to go back. But watching the bridge open and close and having sting rays jumping near by was kind of nice and makes eating at places like this nicer. Although watching the national food chain delivery guy drop off three loads of things makes me wonder about the "local"-ness of the food.

Fantastic seafood meal. Four of us dinned and we all agreeded the food and service was excellent. I had the fish tocos, my wife had the grouper sandwich. All was enjoyable and the prices didn't break our budget.
