I would give this place 5 stars, but they have a lady (owner i think) who has as much personality as the cold ice cream they are serving. She always looks pissed off, and bosses the young kids around like they're soldiers in the Army. That is why i go late at night when that wench isn't working. The young kids are always polite and make the best sundaes. Great place for a quick ice cream or yogurt. If you get a 2 scoop sundae, you can spin the wheel and maybe get a free desert!

They won't accept the electronic deal on this page. Other than that the ice cream was good but now to printing a deal... Does anyone have a printer nowadays?!

We all scream for ice cream. Yeah, not this place. Its not super fabulous. The ice cream is not local homemade, its shipped in. Look at the containers in the cases. The old, crotchy New York lady who owns the place has the personality of a mop. Go to Maggie Moos. They make all their own ice cream.

Best ice cream in have found in the Coral Springs/Parkland/Boca Raton/Tamarac/Coconut Creek area! My daughter and her friends just finished "2014 Ice Cream Palooza" and the results are in. Ice Cream Palooza is an ice cream marathon, where we visit 5 local ice cream shops back-to-back and rate each one after the visit. This year we judged the following shops: SubZero (Parkland), Larry's (CSP), Cold Stone (Heron Bay), Carvel (CSP) and Cherry Smash (CSP). The results are as follows: 5. Carvel, 4. Cold Stone, 3. SubZero, 2. Cherry Smash and the winner......1. LARRY'S! Now keep in mind, the judges are 9 and 10 year old girls, so take that for what it's worth, but I have to agree with this year's winner. Larry's is a really good local ice cream shop, that not many people know about. If your a kid, try their ice cream sundae and spin the wheel for a chance to get it for free. If your an adult, try flavors such as maple walnut, caramel/caramel or coffee...they all taste great and will make you feel like a kid again! Next time your in CSP, give it a try. If your having trouble finding it, it's tucked in the corner of the shopping center between Big Lot and Pier 1 Imports. Enjoy!!

This is a great little spot for ice cream. If you don't look good, you could easily miss it because it is tucked away in a litttle corner. I actually love it for that reason and the ice cream is delicious.

Delicious brownie sundae. This place had that old fashioned ice cream shop feel that is a nice change from Dairy Queen. The best part, I got to spin the price wheel for my sundae and ended up with a dollar off. Very friendly staff. If you are looking for ice cream in the area, I would highly recommend Larry's Old Fashioned Ice Cream & Yogurt.

The lady that owns the place has a name....which is Karen. She has always been very helpful and happy to every customer including myself. The ice cream business is more demanding now then it ever was years ago when Coral Springs population was only a few hundred. (When they did make their own ice cream daily) With that being said the ice cream is selected from an exclusive supplier with choosing over 40 flavors to meet different customers interest. It does get costly ordering so many tubs , but larrys does not charge a lot in return to their customers. Least as possible to make it fair and affordable to every household. Maggie moos , if you didn't know , actually buys their ice cream as well from suppliers . It is NOT homemade. I have been there a few times where he actually has a few of the exact same flavors that larrys carries. And I watch him bring out the ice cream tubs with other company logos on them and put them in his freezer and calls them "homemade". From many of my experiences at larrys i would definitely recommend it to anyone in the neighborhood. Very friendly staff and owner along with great prices and so many flavors to choose from!

Been coming here for about two years and my 5 year old daughter loves to spin the wheel the price of a two scoop sundae. The wheel is gone due to employees negligence. Why punish the customer, just fire the employee. See you when the wheel goes back up.

I'm not a huge ice cream eater but every now and then I get a taste for some. If you're going to eat ice cream, you might as well get the exotic flavors. I can't remember what my favorite is right now but I know it's purple and it's dee-lishious! There are all kinds of choices here. In addition to cones, you can get cups and the standard shake/sundae/split items, too. Pricing is good or better than any of the national or larger chains and cash or credit is happily accepted.

I love the old time feel of this place, which is rare to find amongst the shopping mall scene. Ice cream here is a-ok. It's nothing ground breaking but it will make the kids happy and will satisfy your sweet tooth.

I'm writing this review to hopefully get Larry's attention. Bought the yelp deal on the phone and walked in I have done this before. This time, at the register, I am told i must have a printed gift certificate and can't use my phnone. I argue saying no where does it state this, ask to speak to a Manager....girl tells me she 'is' the mgr, she would love to help me, but the 'owner' will not let her. If you go on the yelp deal, it clearly says to print OR redeem on phone...which i what I was doing. So now I have just bought the deal, and now I'm paying full price for my ice cream..so i'm spending even more. If this is your policy, state it and I'm fine. Even say 'can be used on the day after purchase'...... But to treat customers like this, there are other places. Why would you want to leave me annoyed to go home to print it to then come back? How does that make a customer happy....especially when the yelp app says the phone is acceptable!?! Yelp was nice enough to refund the $ due to this.

My new ice cream spot! I used to go to cherry smash but Larry's is right across the street from me and the quality of ice cream is great. They offer more flavors than cherry smash and it is slighty cheaper.
